Dette er et meget godt asiatisk spisested i den historiske gamle bydel i Koblenz. Betjeningen meget hurtig, og personalet var professionelt og venligt. Det bedste asiatisk mad vi har fået længe, smagte fantastisk godt. Vi kommer gerne igen.

We ate there for the first time yesterday because we had heard good things. We sat down outside on hard chairs at a worn wooden table, on which the only decoration was a bottle of soy sauce. Friendly service served us a bad tasting Aperol Spritz, which was made with a cheap imitation of Aperol. The soup beforehand was very tasty. The main course, curry with duck and curry with prawns, had major deficiencies: the salad was splashed into warm curry sauce on the plate, which at least gave the salad some flavor. Plus a few chunks of overcooked Mediterranean vegetables (large pieces of pepper, broccoli, zucchini and green beans. By Asian cuisine I mean something different, like okra, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, bean sprouts etc. The curry coconut sauce was extremely salty, the sesame rice had no taste at all no taste and where was the sesame? And it was all very expensive! It was the first and last time for us, not recommended!

Top service and delicious dishes, we will definitely come back!

This place is very busy - but well run: attentive staff showed us to a free table, and followed up with drinks in record time. After a hard day presenting and liaising with potential collaboration partners dinner was to be the much needed reprieve and called for cocktails for starters. My Moscow mule was served ice cold, nicely decorated with mint, limes and cucumber and really hit the spot. Despite this being a busy place conversation was possible. The atmosphere was lively but civilized. The menu offered a large number of main entries that boiled down to a selection of meats with noodle, curried rice, and/or veggies. I had the duck, which never disappoints, and here the duck was served somewhat dramatically with noodles hanging from a scaffold (:) and a cloud of dry ice emanating from a vessel placed on the platter, ... the picture was noodles hanging over duck in a cloudy place:). The neigboring tables watched in wonderment. Duck and all were well prepared and were easily handled with a pair of chopsticks. This is not fine dining in elevated and possibly stuffy-silent company, instead its eating out in a rather lovely place - it was certainly memorable and the food hit the spot as well. This is the right place for a bit of relaxation and sustenance after a hard days work. Obviously very popular, inclusive, and recommended by this weary traveller.

The food was delicious, the service was top (with a surprise when served, the kids really liked it) and it looked very nice from the inside. If we come to Koblenz again, we would be happy to come back.

Went there for the second time yesterday after half a year, unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly since then. Nicely presented, but pretty flat in taste. And if, for example, with the Flying Noodles you have the choice between different side dishes, you choose meat and then the plate is half full of vegetables (which my boys unfortunately don't like), and the rest goes back, then unfortunately it's too expensive fun! A pity ! 🥲

Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our food and there weren't many guests in the restaurant. The vegetable curry was quite tasty. But high prices.

Foody Foody was always worth a visit for us. Unfortunately, something went wrong again. As always, we order drinks and food, the drinks took almost half an hour. Yes, it was Saturday evening but not much was going on. After an hour, my husband and I got our sushi menu and one of our companions got the Crunchyroll, the other 4 dishes for the rest of the group were left out. When asked for a minute, according to the statement it was still 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this wasn't the first time this happened at Foody Foody. There was no apology or notice given or anything offered on the house. Nightcaps for the accompaniment were only available upon request when the bill was requested, which only came after repeated requests.

This is a very good Asian eatery in the historical old town of Koblenz. In my experience, the service was very prompt, and the staff were professional and kind. The food was delicious.

Eating doesn't make me jump for joy, but that's okay. But what doesn't work at all are the drinks. So either you give people a decent straw or real glasses. This vase combined with the paper straw is just rubbish.

Insanely bad service. Food is not served as described on the menu. There is no real improvement. Boss came to the table and didn't even apologize for this misconduct. I can only advise everyone not to visit.

Very nicely designed restaurant, although the ambience inside is much better than in front of the restaurant. But of course that's a matter of taste. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Great dining restaurant with a Japanese-Asian focus. No matter what you order from the extensive menu, it is served in a very appetizing manner and makes you want to try something different next time. This time we ate flying noodles and a mixed vegetarian sushi platter: delicious. The service staff is super friendly and always attentive. Overall, in my opinion, an absolutely recommendable restaurant, even for vegetarians. A great gimmick is the container with dry ice that, after a splash of water, covers the food in a light mist.

We've been here twice now and won't be coming back as Koblenz has much better restaurants to offer - including Asian ones! Eat: The sushi was good. Solid. Not surprisingly good, not bad. Just sushi. The presentation with the dry ice is of course great. Pho Bo was solid too. Just as you would expect a pho, no surprises. The Thai curry was extremely boring! The quality of the well-known train station snack bar Asia H*** is achieved here. What's great about the train station snack bar is a disappointment here, simply because of the comparatively high price. In addition, the tofu was completely unseasoned and had the consistency of an under-fried egg. The vegetables consisted of 60% beans. Plus broccoli, a little zucchini and a piece of pepper. The starters were solid. The homemade lemonade too. Service: 45 minutes of waiting time was very long in a restaurant that wasn't even half full. But the staff was friendly.

Oma‘s curry here was good but not amazing, it feels just slightly bit overpriced. Staff is super friendly and nice, food was served fast. Portions size is gigantic.

A great little restaurant in the old town with Asian dishes that are rarely served. Flying noodles that are actually served on a plate as if they were floating in the air - just great! We found out about the restaurant by chance and were lucky to get a table for two. The food was very tasty, we had grandma's curry with duck. The service was very friendly. The tables for two are close together, which I don't particularly like. But whatever, the good food makes up for it.

Foody Foody is a nicely located restaurant and the atmosphere is cozy. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful, which makes the visit pleasant. Unfortunately, the dishes were rather bland compared to similar restaurants and were not convincing in terms of taste. I also found the prices to be too high for what was on offer. The selection of dishes is fine but lacks that certain something to really stand out. Overall, a nice restaurant if you want to be centrally located and have friendly service, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of taste and price.

We went there last week on the recommendation of a friend and loved the food. We had grandma's curry with duck and loved it. I have never eaten such crispy duck. The vegetables with the sauce and the rice were simply delicious. We can only recommend this restaurant. We'll definitely come back.

Grandma's curry with variation duck was the best duck I have ever eaten. The taste was totally delicious and the skin was extremely crispy and the meat wasn't dry, respect.

Nicely served standard dishes. The restaurant was recommended to us by friends. Unfortunately, it only partially suited our taste. Although I would like to say from the start that the presentation of the dishes was very nice. There were four of us there on a Saturday evening. The table would be reserved two weeks in advance. That's where the fun started. The operator on the phone barely understood what we were saying; in the end, all the information was repeated at least three times. It was also really difficult to understand the operation. It wasn't just extremely poor German pronunciation that played a role, but also very strong background noise. That's why we were unsure until the last moment whether the reservation was even valid. We spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where we were allowed to sit. And even though we got a table, I'm still unsure if the reservation was actually found or if we were just lucky that there was a free table. We waited at the table for 10 minutes for the menu. And only after I specifically asked for it did we get it. Basically, it was the case all along that you had to give some kind of hand signal in order to be noticed. At the end of the evening we thought that the restaurant team was simply very understaffed. The table we were given was dirty (see photos). And was only cleaned after we asked for it. Although the table was already free when we walked in and our reservation was searched for 10 minutes. This means that the staff had enough time to clean it themselves. The whole shop is dark and everything is decorated with the fake flowers. Which in itself isn't that bad, but I don't understand why they're standing in the water (see photos). And then comes the highlight - the toilet. This is never something I normally discuss, but... In this price range, this was the dirtiest toilet I've ever seen. This brings us back to the point about understaffing. The food itself was good. The coconut milk soup was delicious, although served a bit too hot. We also have the breaded chicken and the wakame salad as starters. Both also perfect. For the main course we all ordered sushi. Three of these were baked versions. From my perspective, they were above it. The fish shouldn't be so cooked even though they were baked. The normal inside-out were okay, one of the three people accompanying me found the mayo sauce too spicy. The other two thought they were great. I treated myself to a nigiri set. On the one hand, everything was fresh and beautifully served. The salmon and tuna nigiris were generously covered with fish. Unfortunately the tuna was poorly cut and therefore uncomfortable to eat. The scallop nigiri was way too big for my mouth. And I would like more eel in the eel nigiris. Overall, the food was definitely the best in the store. And if everything else were right, I would probably just ignore the disadvantages mentioned. We paid €40 per person with a tip. And that without alcohol. And one person didn't have a starter. In my opinion it was too expensive. In summary: it was okay, but not a special experience.

Wow, what an unbelievably great experience. It's been a long, long time since we were so excited about going out to eat. We came here today completely unprepared and spontaneously and haven't regretted it for a second. Super friendly staff. Excellent food with a really good price-performance ratio. The whole thing served with so much love and surprise that we will definitely come back. Our tip, be sure to try the Flying Noodles too. A big movie theater. Many thanks to the whole team for this really successful evening from start to finish. The others will have to measure themselves against you in the future.

The food here is prepared with fresh ingredients. Good selection of different dishes and drinks. My highlight is still “Grandma’s Curry”. Tasty in taste and a decent portion size. If you like something unusual, order “flying noodles”. A real eye-catcher... The homemade lemonades are also very good. Staff very friendly. Price-performance ratio also fits... Always my pleasure

Food is mostly tasteless as sauces are watered down (and not enough), portion size below average. Veggie chunks are big and soggy. Presentation is pretentious (e.g. liquid nitrogen). But prices are above average. Very limited veg options. Bottomline: you get same or better food at any Asia Schnellimbiss for less money, more authentic and quicker service. Not terrible, but very disappointing on every level.

Food was OK. Pho was delicious. My curry was seasoned too lightly. The sushi only tasted of mayonnaise, which was generously spread on it. Was OK. But you don't have to again.

We've been here 3 times now and it's always delicious! The food is really beautifully and spectacularly prepared and, importantly: it also tastes really delicious!!! The portions are actually always sufficient. Service could sometimes be a bit more on point, and the ambience is mostly okay. Price/performance definitely fits. Happy to come back!

You have to like being around so many people as the restaurant is always very busy (which is good for business). BUT the food is so DELICIOUS and the service makes a lot of effort!! I can only recommend it. If you want good, high-quality sushi, come here. I'll definitely be back🙏🏽

Quite a cozy Asian restaurant with mainly curries and sushi dishes. The meals are freshly prepared, the environment is pleasant and the toilet area is also neat. In the afternoon on weekdays there are some dishes available at a discount, which is an interesting offer. Be sure to try their own lemonades, which can provide very refreshing taste experiences.

The food was super tasty, we had pho with beef and vegetarian, sushi and summer rolls with shrimp. Unfortunately, the service isn't quite as committed; despite the empty glasses, we didn't ask if we wanted anything else. We would also have to look for the service for a long time to ask for the bill. The restaurant was quite empty, I think it wasn't even 1/3 full. There is room for improvement.

A clear recommendation from me. Was there for the second time now. The portions are definitely sufficient and the price is okay. The dishes also come with more than enough sauce, which I think is great. However, you can't avoid making a reservation on the weekend (to be on the safe side, I would also make a reservation during the week). It was very busy on Saturday evening. But that also speaks for the restaurant ☺️ Gladly again

We ordered vegan flying noodles and a meat dish. Both the dishes had same vegetables and same sauce. Both the dishes were tasteless and bland. It was a disappointment. The staff was friendly and they cared for and understood vegan definition.

Spontaneous decision due to hunger last night: we want to eat here. Without a reservation, just asked - a table for two was possible straight away. The quality of the sushi is very good. High quality fish, the rice is cooked to perfection. And the eye definitely eats here too. The food is obviously prepared by people who enjoy their craft and definitely understand it. Cocktails were just as good as the food. And the service leaves little to be desired. Very friendly staff. Only the ambience is a bit too "cramped" for my taste. Thank you for the good dinner. We will be back definitely!

Wir waren nun zum 2. mal dort essen und sind im Vergleich zum 1. mal eher leicht enttäuscht. Die optische Zubereitung der großen Sushiplatte für über 50€, war jetzt recht einfach und unseres Erachtens eher schnell und lieblos gehalten, ohne Wow Effekt, das kalte Sushi wurde viel zu kalt serviert! Die Sojasoße war recht salzig. Auf Nachfrage zusätzlich eine süßsauere Soße zu erhalten, warteten wir trotz Zusage des Kellners vergeblich. Ob der Koch oder Zubereiter gewechselt hat, wissen wir nicht, doch liebes Foody Foody Team - das hattet ihr vor einigen Monaten vieeeel besser drauf! Schade! Zudem ist der Eingangsbereich durch die glatten Fliesen, sehr gefährlich glatt wenn es regnet. Da gibt es sicherlich eine Lösung für. Trotz der hoffentlich konstruktiven Kritik,… freundlich ist die Bedienung sehr!

Sehr leckeres Essen, guter Service! Wir kommen wieder.

Wenn man etwas erleben möchte, dann sollte man das Foody Foody in Koblenz sich anschauen und auch erleben wollen. Hierzu gab es schon einige grundsätzliche Empfehlungen an uns. Wir wollten daher schon unlängst dort einmal etwas essen, aber wie es dann so läuft, die Familie an einen Tisch zu bekommen ist auch ein Thema von Zeit ;-) Jetzt hatten wir es einmal geschafft einen Termin zu finden, vorab auch reserviert (was empfehlenswert ist). Man wird sehr herzlich im Restaurant empfangen und zu seinem Tisch begleitet. Nach kurzer Zeit bereits die Getränkebestellung (Cocktails und Softdrinks), alles soweit i.O. Dann die Speisenbestellungen: Vorspeise Reispapier-Röllchen (sehr lecker in Verbindung mit dem Soja-Soßen-Dip); Hauptspeise FLYING NOODLES mit knuspriger Ente - Präsentation "super" (siehe Bild-Clip), Nudeln und Gemüse leider kalt (nicht zu verwechseln mit kalten, japanischen Soba-Nudeln *schmunzel*). Aber im Ernst: Die Nudeln, Beilagen (Gemüse, Pilze usw.) waren kalt, die knusprige Ente dazu lauwarm. Von diesem Stand der Dinge ausgehend leider nicht OK - geschmacklich war die Ente dennoch gut und auch "knusprig" (Oha!). Alle Speisen nur gering verzehrt, kurze Rücksprache mit der Bedienung gehalten, die etwas "höhere" Rechnung (ja, man ist hier wirtschaftlich nicht zum Buffet angetreten) ohne Abzüge bezahlt (wir gehen davon aus, dass eben sehr viel zu tun war und daher der eine oder andere Teller ein wenig länger gestanden hat - und dann leider nicht unter der "Lampe")... erstmal alles gut, in nächster Zeit aber nicht als Gast vor Ort, das "kalte" Essen hat dann doch etwas geschockt.

Tried the panko prawn sushi and it was delicious. We also tried the flying noodles with chicken which was also good, but not great. The duck in coconut gravy that we tried feels heavy, it caters to varying tastes. The ambiance is average, often crowded, and the service is satisfactory. Overall, Foody Foody provides a delightful culinary experience, particularly for Asian cuisine enthusiasts, though minor adjustments in atmosphere and certain dishes could enhance the overall dining experience.

Essen war sehr lecker, reichlich und optisch ansprechend. Leider mussten wir relativ lange auf unser Essen warten und selbst die Pommes für unser Kind haben fast 40min gebraucht und kamen als letztes an unseren Tisch. Sonst 5 Sterne.

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem Sushi. Absolut empfehlenswert. Leider gab es ein kleines Missverständnis bei der Reservierung, aber wurde vor Ort sehr kompetent durch die Mitarbeiter gelöst.

There are a lot of choices on the menu. The plating looks very good and is quite unique. The service is okay. They are not particularly nice (or not nice). The food was okay. It looks a lot more spectacular than it tastes. We all thought the sauces tasted a little watery instead of thick and full, which is what we were hoping for. All the dishes have the exact same vegetables. The meat was cut too thickly. The knives were unsharp. They do have vegetarian options, though.

Ondanks de drukte toch een plaatsje gekregen als alleenstaande. inrichting en verzorging was prima, en ook goede bediening.

Erstmal hat einer von uns, der vegetarisch bestellt hat ein ganz anderes Gericht mit Fleisch bekommen. Von zweien wurde das Essen ganz vergessen und wir mussten nach 40 Minuten nachdem 2 schon ihr essen hatten nochmal nachfragen. Und am Ende wurden die Getränke ganze 3 mal berechnet. Ich meine Fehler passieren aber so viele? Und es gab am Ende nicht Mal ne ordentliche Entschuldigung sondern es wurde immer auf die anderen Bedienungen geschoben.

Wir waren zu dritt dort und waren alle begeistert. Hatten als Vorspeise die Vorspeisenplatte und Sushi, als Hauptgang Pho. War alles sehr schmackhaft und schön angerichtet. Sicherlich etwas höher preisig anzusiedeln, dafür bekommt man aber auch was geboten. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir waren das erste Mal im Foody Foody und waren angenehm überrascht. Netter Service und originell präsentiertes Essen, welches man getrost als gut bezeichnen kann. Nachteil der Flying Noodles ist ganz einfach daß sie schnell kalt werden. Wir werden auf jeden Fall noch einmal vorbei kommen und auch andere Gerichte ausprobieren. Preis/ Leistung ist vollkommen in Ordnung.

Nettes Personal,es wird alles frisch zubereitet,deshalb muß man ca. 1h auf das Essen warten! Aber es Lohnt sich!

Zum Teil Dosen Gemüse (Erbsen und Möhren), Geschmack hat nachgelassen. Leckere Getränke, aber leider schlechtes Bier (insbesondere fehlt das regionale Königsbacher). Viel zu teuer für die Leistung.
