Turnerheim Güls Sportsbar & Café Lounge in Koblenz

Wir waren heute das erste Mal zu Gast im Turnerheim Güls und sind super begeistert. Wir haben toll draußen auf der Terrasse gesessen, es gibt sehr schöne Blumen. Das Essen, der Service und die Getränke waren hervorragend. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Als Touristen aus Dresden hatten wir uns auf den Besuch gefreut, wurden aber leider enttäuscht. Schon beim Ankommen wirkte das Personal, als hätte es keine große Lust zu arbeiten. Die Speisekarten mussten wir uns selbst holen und auch während des Besuchs kam kaum jemand an den Tisch. Wenn man etwas wollte, musste man gefühlt selbst hinterherlaufen. Der Apfelsaft war warm und schmeckte eher nach Birne als nach Apfel. Die Cola war ebenfalls enttäuschend und offenbar keine Originale Coca Cola.. Auf das Essen mussten wir etwa 30 Minuten warten. Die Kellnerin wirkte leider sehr lustlos und hatte für uns kein einziges Lächeln übrig, während Stammgäste deutlich freundlicher behandelt wurden. Auch den Hinweis in der Speisekarte, dass Trinkgeld nicht im Preis enthalten ist, fanden wir unpassend. Trinkgeld sollte eine freiwillige Anerkennung für guten Service sein. Das Essen schmeckte hervorragend, aber die Brötchen waren leider kalt. Schade, wir hätten uns als Touristen aus Dresden einen freundlicheren Service und mehr Aufmerksamkeit für alle Gäste gewünscht.

Super leckerer Burger. Ein mega Burger mit Pommes. Ambiente war sehr Uhrig und sehr gepflegt. Personal war super nett. Essen war der Hammer. Sehr zu empfehlen 👍

Angefangen von der sehr netten Bedienung, über das sehr leckere Essen, gibt es nichts zu berichten. Preis/ Leistung stimmt hier.

Ihr Genießer! Zwei Jahre ist mein letzter Post her. Und es ist noch ne Stufe höher! Aber Zuhause! Wenn du hier nicht zu Hause bist, egal, die machen alles, dass es dir so schmeckt, ne , besser! Gastronominnen(watn Wort) aus vollem Herzen. Lecker! Nur zu empfehlen!

Wir waren im Turnerheim in Koblenz/Güls essen und waren wirklich sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen ordentlich und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich super. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass auf unseren Sonderwunsch beim Essen problemlos eingegangen wurde. Das ist nicht überall selbstverständlich und hat den Besuch für uns noch angenehmer gemacht. Insgesamt haben wir uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne bei unserem nächsten Koblenz Aufenthalt wieder. Wer gute Küche zu fairen Preisen sucht, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig. Auch die sanitären Anlagen waren sauber. Klare 5 von 5 Sternen!

Ich habe dort zu Abend gegessen und zwei Hauptgerichte bestellt: ein Ofen-Pasta-Gericht und einen Hot-Chili-Burger. Beides hat mir hervorragend geschmeckt. Der Burger war mit Abstand einer der besten, die ich in den letzten zehn Jahren gegessen habe. Das Personal, die Bedienung und sogar die anderen Gäste waren sehr freundlich und behandelten mich wie einen alten Freund, obwohl sie mich noch nie zuvor gesehen hatten. Ich kann das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und hoffe, bald wiederzukommen, um den Burger noch einmal zu genießen.

Immer lecker, tolle Gastgeber, toller Service. Wir gehen so gerne dort zum Essen, super Gerichte zu guten Preisen, lokaler Wein und leckere Cocktails. Wir sind wirklich immer rundum zufrieden 😀

Nach unseren Recherchen ist das Turnerheim das am besten bewertete Restaurant in Güls, weswegen wir für ein Abendessen hier reserviert haben. Wir kamen zwar zu Fuß, aber vor dem Lokal gibt's kostenlose Parkplätze. Wir wurden super freundlich begrüßt und durften uns einen Tisch aussuchen (war dann versehentlich der Stammtisch - ups). Wir haben uns für Schnitzel (Pfeffer-Schnitzel und Bomba-Schnitzel) mit Pommes und Salat entschieden. Leider war der Salat nicht mehr ganz frisch und hatte einige braune Stellen. Das Joghurt-Dressing war ok, aber aus der Flasche. Als Schnitzel und Pommes kamen waren wir von der Größe der Portionen geflasht. Das Fleisch war top zart und die Pommes schön dünn und knusprig. Die Pfeffersoßen hatten richtig Bums - waren aber Instant. Die Getränke waren lecker und gut gekühlt. Fazit: wenn man die Rezensionen liest ist zu erkennen, dass sich das Turnerheim wohl gerade wieder hocharbeitet. Gerade beim Salat wäre ein eigenes tagesfrisches Dressing wahrscheinlich problemlos möglich. Bzgl. der Soßen zum Fleisch ist ggf. weniger mehr. D.h. weniger Varianten, aber die frisch zubereitet. Wir wünschen Euch weiterhin viel Erfolg! 👍🏻💪🏻

Wir waren zweimal da und beidesmal sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war sehr gut, die Portionen genau richtig. Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag: Das Fleisch beim Burger war trocken, also nicht so lange braten und das Brötchen ein wenig anwärmen.

Ich war dort zum ersten essen. Es hat gut geschmeckt. Man wurde nett und freundlich bedient. Heute werde ich ein zweites mal dort sein und lass mich überraschen.

Preis-/Leistung und Service sehr gut. Das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber dennoch gemütlich und alles sauber.

Diese Restaurant ist wirklich ein Geheimtipp. Tolles Ambiente, super leckeres Essen zu angenehmen Preisen, nettes Personal. Gibt es leider nur noch selten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Location mit nettem Personal 😊! Wir hatten beide jeweils 1 Schnitzel ( Jägerschnitzel, Bologneseschnitzel) beides mit Pommes und Salat. Als Vorspeise Bruscetta! Alles war super lecker und die Portionen echt groß 😊! Auch wenn die Location schon etwas älter und rustikal ist, so fühlt man sich Gast wohl und vor ALLEM willkommen!

We actually ate at Turnerheim Güls three evenings in a row this week (Tuesday to Thursday) – and were absolutely thrilled every time! The food was incredibly delicious, always arrived quickly, and the portions were really generous. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable. A big compliment also to the waitress: They were super friendly and attentive every time – we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere at Turnerheim is beautifully rustic and cozy, just the right place for relaxing and enjoying ourselves. We live quite a distance away, but when we're back in Koblenz, we'll definitely stop by again. Highly recommended! 🙌

Loved this little hole in the wall. Excellent food, large portions and reasonably priced. Our Canadian dollar doesn't go far, but great value for money.

A very nice little insider tip. It's originally a sports bar with a nice bar feel. The portions are a bit too large for my liking, but they're plentiful.

Down-to-earth, solid cuisine with friendly service. A visit to the Turnerheim is always worthwhile for a delicious pizza or pasta.

The warm, freshly baked pizza bread that was served with it is particularly worth mentioning because it is so delicious. We were served quickly and were very satisfied. We arrived in Ko-Güls on Friday afternoon and were hungry to the bone. But almost all restaurants were closed. At the recommendation of our hotel (restaurant closed on Fridays!) we went to the gymnastics home. When we arrived, the next shock came: athletes' home!🤼🏋🏼 First highlight, the super-friendly service! What are you in the athletes' home: Schnitzel! Side salad delicious! When the schnitzel came, shock again! The schnitzel looked “drowned” under the hunter’s sauce. But then: fries, schnitzel and hunter's sauce were delicious! Everything freshly made! Conclusion: don't give a damn about the "surroundings", the food was delicious, we were super satisfied and we'll definitely be back!

Last night we had dinner at the **Sports Bar in Güls, Koblenz** and were very positively surprised! The food was delicious, freshly prepared and exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, which further rounded off the evening. We would definitely come back again and recommend the sports bar to anyone looking for a relaxed place with great food. Absolutely recommended!

Something's going on. The new team is well-coordinated and responds individually to the guests' wishes. Visually, the Turnerheim is also being modernized bit by bit and is slowly losing the old-fashioned pub atmosphere.

We discovered the restaurant while walking and decided to eat there the next evening. At first we were a bit skeptical as to whether this was even a thing, but we were more than surprised. Great friendly service, large selection and great quality. The taste was absolutely TOP and the size of the dishes was generous. Even a seasoned man can get his fill here. The name sports bar doesn't do this place justice. We then went to the sports bar again to eat and what we experienced there was amazing. Food TOP, service at its finest. We come from the hospitality industry ourselves, but what the two ladies do deserves absolute respect. To be able to manage a restaurant of this size with two people and then deliver such service and quality is amazing. We were the last guests this Sunday and so had the opportunity to get to know the two lovely ladies a little. So nice, friendly and humble. Restaurateurs with heart and passion. Went there for a little refreshment before an event at Cafe Hahn. Location is highly recommended. Unbeatable price/performance ratio. Rarely have I had such a delicious schnitzel with top fries. Portions are also suitable for experienced men. And service was super nice. Therefore, again and again.

As of today, the menu with great castles, delicious schnitzels, pasta and salads has been expanded to include more pasta dishes and a large selection of pizza for every taste. After the delicious bruschetta, we were able to enjoy our first pizzas and were absolutely thrilled with the crispy base from the pizza oven and the delicious toppings. Highly Recommended! A really great addition to the map. As always, the visit to the lovely hosts was absolutely worth it 😀

Very nice service who does a great job, food was tasty and very cheap for the size of the portion. The ambience is old (today we might say vintage) but has a certain charm. We liked it.

If you leave here hungry, it's your own fault! We had both schnitzel and tagliatelle and apart from the fact that everything was freshly prepared and delicious, I have to say that the portions are outstanding. The service was very courteous and friendly and we never had to wait for new drinks. All in all, you can enjoy great evenings with delicious food and ambience in this rustic, cozy location.

Hat jetzt nichts mehr mit dem zutun, was vorher drin war. Für uns sehr schade. Der Name "Sportsbar "ist irgendwie am Thema vorbei. Wir haben keinen Fernseh gesehen oder sonst irgendwas, was an eine Sportsbar erinnert . Samstag geöffnet bis 23 Uhr !?Sehr schade. Aber jetzt zum positiven. Die junge Frau, die uns bedient hat, war sehr aufmerksam und nett. Das Essen ist reichhaltig und echt lecker. Kann ich wirklich empfehlen.

Waren heute hier bevor es zur Kultur ins Café Hahn ging. Kurz nach 17 Uhr waren wir da, alle Tische waren mit Kerzen versehen und brannten bereits! Unsere Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und überaus freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker- Schnitzel top (Pfeffersoße war nicht unbedingt meins) - Spaghetti Carbonara Super lecker, sehr heiß und riesige Portion - nicht zu schaffen! Preis Leistung toll!

Heute dort telefonisch bestellt. War unser erstes Mal dort. Wir sind positiv überrascht. Es ging super schnell und unkompliziert. Essen war sehr lecker. Bedienung sehr freundlich und kinderlieb. Größe der Portionen ist groß und ausreichend. Kommen jetzt öfters.

Mexican Burger absoluter Wahnsinn! Mein Freund hatte das Bomba Schnitzel mit Speck es war einfach nur köstlich. Die Köchin und gleichzeitig Inhaberin sehr nett und sympathisch. Bedienungen Allesamt freundlich und das Ambiente ist sehr schön und entspannt. Gemütliche Innen und Außenlocation. Eine glasklare, ausnahmslose Empfehlung!
