Why are the ratings so low? It's delicious... I chose this place because I wanted to eat German food one last time before leaving Germany. It was a bit of a gamble after reading the reviews, but it was so delicious. I was a little disappointed because there was no schnitzel sauce, but it's the perfect beer snack. It was delicious even without any seasoning. Honestly, the pasta was just average, but the beer was incredibly cold, which was nice. They took my order right away as soon as we made eye contact, and the food came out quickly. I drank a liter of beer here and immediately fell asleep on the plane. 💚 This is seriously a great place!!! It's not the best value for money, but it's not the worst. No idea why this place has such bad ratings... I actually thought it was really good! Before flying to Germany, I wanted to have some German food one last time – according to the comments, it was kind of a gamble, but for me, it was totally worth it. One liter of beer here and then straight into deep sleep on the plane – couldn’t be better! If you’re looking for an “absolute hidden gem,” this might not be the best value for money, but it’s definitely not bad at all

I've noticed that I'm not the only one who had this experience with the tall, rude waiter (supposedly from Hungary, name probably Robert). Other guests have also complained about his rude and unprofessional manner. This shows that this isn't an isolated incident, but apparently his usual behavior. Absolutely intolerable 👎 – a disgrace for any restaurant!

My visit to this restaurant was a shock. Instead of being welcomed, I felt unwelcome. One large, unfriendly waiter (supposedly from Hungary, name possibly Robert) was particularly rude and even refused me entry. I later learned that other guests had similar experiences. For a restaurant, that's simply disappointing. 👎

I had a deeply unpleasant and unacceptable experience at your establishment. A man working there was extremely rude and forced me to give him a €6 tip, for what service, exactly? I sat down for barely two minutes before he rudely told me to move to a higher table without even asking if I intended to order food. I ended up ordering a carbonara for €16, which was honestly the worst I’ve ever had. Then he pressured me into ordering a glass of wine for €10, which I didn’t even want. On top of that, he was shouting across the restaurant to his colleague, calling him “Pinocchio” in front of all the customers, does his colleague not have a real name? This was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. To make things worse, his behavior seemed borderline racist, and after reading other reviews, I see I’m not the only one who noticed this. Is this kind of attitude acceptable in an international airport setting? I only gave him the €6 tip, which felt like a scam, because I had a flight to catch and didn’t want to create a scene. But next time, I won’t tolerate this, and I will not hesitate to file a formal complaint with the proper authorities. Please don’t reply with a copy-paste apology. This is not a minor issue. I urge you to take real disciplinary action against this individual. His behavior is damaging your reputation and completely inappropriate for any professional environment , especially one that represents your business to international travelers.

Many items on the menu were out. You wait forever, and then you're forced to stay because they keep forgetting that you wanted to pay. Just stay away from here.

The all important context: this is a restaurant in an airport after passport control. The gentleman who served us was absolutely lovely. The currywurst and beers really enjoyable, with properly cooked chips. The atmosphere was chilled; nice and quiet, no awful music, comfy seats, and when our flights were delayed we were able to sit and be looked after for several hours, without spending a fortune.

Very nice location ... price level is adapted to airport conditions but still acceptable ... and the personnel is sooo nice ...🙂🙂🙂

No, what about the quality of the pizza here...??? Why is there a star attack here? Those who ride Daenan Air, you must try the tuna pizza here. It should be crispy, moist, and the thickness of the toppings.... I had to go to another branch with my friend, but it seems like there are only this place and Paris. I came in without any expectations and was so surprised that I am leaving a review. I have to ride Daenan Air again. On the way there, I will eat this.....

The service was slow, but maybe because only one person who was actively serving. Food was average airport style, we had the snitzel and one kids pasta. The waiter forgot out drink order, but came with it later. Maybe its just this whole airport service is slow. We went to mosch mosch also similar service very slow until it was time for us to board. Its best to eat outside of the airport, more choices and even nicer sandwiches!

We encountered an extremely rude young male staff member—behavior we have never experienced in any other restaurant. After sitting down and reviewing the menu for merely two minutes, he stood beside us, demanding our order in an aggressive and disrespectful tone. When we politely asked for more time, he rudely insisted we had been looking at the menu for ten minutes, which was completely untrue. The entire interaction left us feeling rushed and disrespected. Additionally, when we first arrived, no staff attended to us, forcing us to seat ourselves. The lack of basic hospitality and professionalism was shocking—this was hardly the experience one expects from a proper restaurant.

Pretty good breakfast! I had the American breakfast and it was really good. I didn’t expect too much from an airport restaurant but this one was great. The staff was very nice and efficient. It’s not cheap but reasonable especially at an airport.

A typical airport restaurant, nothing special, but you can't go wrong by stopping in here. The food is ok and quite edible. However, the tiramisu was not at all my cup of tea, disappointing in terms of taste and also incorrectly prepared. The service staff was very friendly and personable.

Terrible service, and super rude workers

This was the rudest service I have ever experienced in my life. A man who said his name was Mustafa was especially rude and spoke in a tone that came across as racist. He even threatened to prevent us from boarding the plane. When we asked him to call the police, he walked away and avoided us. I have never seen such terrible behavior in any place before. I strongly recommend staying away from this place.

So not again, as there is nothing else to eat in this area apart from Burger King, and we had a look around. We thought this restaurant looked appealing. I should have read the reviews beforehand, I think 2 stars is too much. The chicken was at least 1 day old. The pretzel is hard and all for 15€... so if you're reading this and are in the D1-20 area, you'd better go to Burger King, you'll know what you're getting for your money.

We stopped at a restaurant before boarding the plane and ordered caprese salad and tiramisu, but it wasn't the Italian food we knew, but a similar imitation of an unidentified dish and the taste was terrible. Due to the nature of the airport, it seems to target passing customers rather than regular customers.

The service here was very slow and somewhat rude. We walked in and were told in passing by counter staff to find our own table, which we did. We then had an extended wait to be served, with the staff paying us very little attention except to direct us to remove a bag from atop the table. The food was passable, but nothing to write home about. They were apparently out of orange juice by lunchtime which was hard to believe. Afterwards the waiter tried to refuse payment until I finished the last scraps on my plate - I think he meant it as a joke but it was very unwelcome as we just wanted to pay and leave. Overall, I can see that the other negative reviews on this page have likely been well earned.

Don’t get the pasta. It‘s salty and doesn’t have much flavor at the same time and is therefore quite disappointing and too pricey for what it is BUT FOR SURE GET THE PIZZA (pinsa) ‼️ITS SOOO GOOD it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten in germany. The pizza dough is just so delicious and perfect.

There is a little bit of disorganisation in this place...I noticed that when ordered some food from the desk but they invited me to sit and take orders from the table. So frustrating. Food was very bad. A few waiters were gentle at least. There aren't many places to chill and eat at the airport, so I hope the management in this place will change everything soon to improve the experience

I experienced the most rudest encounter I have ever had from a member of staff at a restaurant here. My family were coming back from our holiday- our flight was cancelled and then our rescheduled one was 2 hours delayed so we were very fed up and exhausted already. My sister asked a member of staff for some napkins after we got our food (it took a very long time for someone to take our order)- this member of staff didn’t even look at my sister or say anything but held his finger up at her like he was telling her to be quiet. After a long while he came back with two napkins (we were a table of 7) so I asked for more and he tutted and shrugged so I said I would get them and asked them where they were- he pointed to where they were (not looking at me). I told him he was being rude and he laughed at me. This was so appalling and really made our experience at the airport so much worse than it already was. This member of staff was working between 1900 and 2000 yesterday (23rd May). Absolutely shocking behaviour from a customer service member of staff. It seems a lot of reviews on here have stated the rudeness of the staff here and that hasn’t changed

We sat down in the dining room to order coffee and sandwiches. A man came to dislodge me, telling us that we had to eat at the high table while all the customers with coffee were sitting at the table. When you do this, you specify it beforehand. They leave 2 children sitting on a wooden board. TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID!!!! In addition, ultra expensive and not good!

Woeful service. Extremely rude staff. Didn't even get a chance to order in the end as we were left to wait an age after being told rudely that this was table 'service' when asking should we order at the bar. Can understand that it was busy. Cannot understand rude staff. Barked at us that the order would be taken from the table. Another waiter barked at us that he was on serving station not taking orders. Can understand all of that but there was no need to be as rude as these people were. No eye contact to indicate they'd be around soon. Just an, again, rude, cynical 'bye' when we left. Avoid.

I don’t normally write Google reviews however after this experience I was compelled to write one. If only I could give no stars as the one star might give the illusion there is a redeeming quality, there isn’t! The waiter/owner is rude and doesn’t understand how to deliver the most basic of customer service. I placed an order and less than a minute I wanted to change it. Rather than politely explaining that my order was already being prepared (although I doubt this restaurant possesses this level of efficiency) he projected his anger towards me. On reflection, perhaps I should have walked out of the restaurant on his outburst however as I was travelling with several colleagues on business, I did not want to ruin the atmosphere by escalating this any further. I am sure I am not the first or last person wanting to change their order within reasonable time however the reaction of the owner was inexcusable and unprofessional. The restaurant was dirty and not sure if the table surface have been wiped clean that day. The pizza was below average and did not have sufficient toppings. Avoid this place there are better restaurants that are far more deserving of your money.

Good place to have a beer while you wait for your gate to open. Comfy seating, cold fresh beers in steins or smaller glasses. The cost is as you'd expect.

This is the worst customer service. When I was looking for coins at the checkout, a male clerk with a bad attitude touched my wallet and said fiercely, ``There's a 5 euro bill!'' I tried to stop her by telling her not to touch people's wallets without permission, but it's really trash.

We ordered a pasta and a pizza - quality wasnt good at all. The pasta sauce felt like something out of a can. The margharita pizza tasted blunt (we don't have COVID!). The ambience and seating areas were nice though and the Ethiopian lady who served us was really nice.

I have rarely experienced such poor service and such poor value for money as in this store. This should definitely be avoided. Some of the food is days old. The sellers lie and show no understanding for allergy sufferers. In addition, the prices are extremely high. A plain bread roll costs €7.50 and tastes like it was taken from the trash can - no, even worse.

Tables were not allowed to be used because it was 8 a.m. in the morning. 50 people then crowded into 4 bar tables, the 40 free tables were unused = service desert in Germany. Plus, asking the restaurateur to get up immediately. 4 rolls + 4 drinks over 40 EUR = monopoly price.

Considering the other reviews and the prices on the menu, I still decided to spend my time here instead of the gate. Food is good if you pick the sandwiches. I went with an Apollo - Schnitzel with tomato, mayo, lettuce on a bun. Get it toasted. Paired it with a 6€ weissbier and it’s perfectly fine.

Schönes kleines Restaurant am Airport .Waren zum Frühstück da . Restaurant war sehr gut besucht aber die zwei Damen hatten alles im Griff. Bestellung ging sehr zügig und die Croissant waren mega lecker und der Café auch .Hatten dazu frischen Orangensaft alles sehr frisch und schön angerichtet . Der Service war sehr freundlich und zu vorkommend .👍 Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt .

Vor zwei Wochen, besuchte ich dieses Restaurant, vor meinem Flug. Es sah sehr ansprechend aus und die Speisekarte sagte mir auch zu. Ich hatte mir einen Burger bestellt, der wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt hat. Das Service Personal war sehr freundlich, allerdings beobachtete ich eine Situation kurz nach dem Essen vom Personal und dem Chef des Restaurants. Der Chef hat das arme Personal angeschrien und so nieder gemacht vor den Gästen, dass ist wirklich eine bodenlose Frechheit gewesen, es war nicht zu überhören. Wäre es mein Chef gewesen, hätte ich da das passende dazu gesagt, sowas hat niemand verdient. Als Chef geht man so nicht mit seinem Personal um, vor allem vor den ganzen Gästen. Ich wünsche mir das meine Rezession wahr genommen wird und dieser Chef eine Ansage oder gar Konsequenzen mit sich zieht. (Hellblaues Hemd und grauer Schnurrbart circa 60-65 Jahre alt). Ansonsten war es ein toller Besuch in dem Restaurant, durch das freundliche Personal und das leckere Essen, gab es nichts auszusetzen, wie gesagt nur die Situation mit dem Chef war Unterste Schublade, er sollte sich wirklich Abgrundtiefst schämen. 4 Punkte, normalerweise hätte ich 5 gegeben, aber durch die Situation mit dem Chef muss ich leider ein Punkt abziehen.

Staff didn't really put much effort in - didn't notice new customers, didn't ask if people needed anything, and even paying took forever. Pizza was adequate at best - soggy base, tomato that taste like unseasoned passata, and some tasteless mushrooms, peppers and cheap ham. Not good.

Very average. The food was okay, we ordered two pizzas. It was an okay portion and normal taste, definitely not worth 12.5 euros. Also, there is clear false advertising. According to the menu, there was supposed to be cherry tomatoes and buffalo mozzarella. But it was just normal tomatoes and not fresh, processed cheese. At the end crazy expensive but since its the only not fast food place you have no choice...
