Es war mein erstes kulinarisches Erlebnis und ich war begeistert vom Essen, dem Service und der Atmosphäre, und ich komme bestimmt wieder. Kann es nur empfhelen

Wir waren gestern Abend dort essen und haben ein wunderbares Essen genossen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich war gestern dort essen Und alles war einfach großartig – es war mein erster Besuch und ich war total begeistert: das Restaurant, der Service, das Essen – ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Der Meeresfrüchtereis war versalzen, ich kann ihn nicht empfehlen. Das Fleisch war trocken und das Ceviche auch nicht gut. Ich war etwas enttäuscht, denn bei dem hohen Preis hatte ich kein so versalzenes Essen erwartet.

Nicht kinderfreundlich. Preis Leistung passt überhaupt nicht.

Preis Leistung schlecht. Viel zu teuer für die Qualität. Sehr enttäuscht. Reis mit seafood versalzen. Schweinebauch absolut trocken. Kleine Portion usw. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Die Chefin einfach nur schlecht gelaunt. Ich denke die guten Bewertungen sind noch von damals.

Unfreundlicher Service und unangenehme Atmosphäre. Wir hatten das Gefühl, aufgrund unserer Herkunft anders behandelt zu werden. Einmal und nie wieder.

Ein köstliches Essen - in meinen Augen fast schon Sterneniveau mit wunderbaren Aromen und angefangen vom Brot mit Dip zieht sich dies durch alle Gänge. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die Jakobsmuscheln und die Kikok-Bällchen und zum Hauptgang Pulpo und den Kabeljau. Natürlich probierten wir auch gegenseitig und für alles gibt es von mir 10/10. Der Wein und die Cocktails (mit Yuzu etc.) waren ebenso sehr gut. Die Karte ist recht klein, bietet für meinen Geschmack aber die perfekte Auswahl. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Dies war gepaart mit einem sehr guten Service- ich bin begeistert. Ein Stern Abzug für die zugige Tür, wenn man im vorderen Bereich sitzt und draußen 7 Grad am Abend sind, ist es bei jedem Gast, der hineinkommt oder hinausgeht sehr ungemütlich kalt. Hier wäre ein Vorhang toll...Dennoch, ein schöner Laden.

Sehr gutes Essen mit ausgefallenen Geschmackskombinationen. Cocktails, Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte waren alle sehr gut! Schweinebauch ist besonders zu empfehlen. Einziges Manko: es war etwas laut.

Alle Gerichte, die wir hatten vom Brot vorweg bis zu den Hauptspeisen war sehr gut und vorallem sehr kreativ. Es ist schon, Gerichte und Geschmackkombinationen zu probieren, die man sonst nicht bekommt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, um die anderen Sachen zu probieren.

Ein absolut herausragendes Erlebnis. Vom ersten Moment an, als wir das Restaurant betraten, fühlten wir uns warmherzig, authentisch und herzlich. Die Atmosphäre ist wunderschön und einladend, der Service unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, und das Essen … einfach unvergesslich. Jedes Gericht schmeckte frisch, authentisch und mit echter Leidenschaft zubereitet. Man spürt die Liebe und Sorgfalt in jedem Bissen. Das Personal hat sich außerordentlich bemüht, uns willkommen zu heißen, was den gesamten Abend noch besonderer machte. Dies ist nicht einfach nur ein Restaurant, es ist ein Erlebnis. Wenn Sie in Köln sind, ist dies ein absolutes Muss. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ich würde gerne wissen, ob jemand vom Personal Spanisch spricht, da ich schon in anderen Restaurants war, die sich als lateinamerikanisch bezeichnen, aber dort spricht jeder Deutsch und Englisch 🥲

Kein einziges veganes Gericht. Dabei sollte es doch so einfach sein, etwas Gemüse zusammenzustellen und ein veganes Gericht auf die Speisekarte zu setzen.

Leider kann ich die Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen.

Wir wurden leider sehr enttäuscht vom Service als auch von der Atmosphäre. Insgesamt haben wir 90min auf unsere Hauptspeise gewartet und haben uns ziemlich Übersehen gefühlt. Zudem war es unerträglich laut - das Schütteln der Cocktails, die laute Hintergrundmusik und die Nähe zu anderen Tischen auf engem Raum. Das Essen an sich war lecker und mit Sorgfalt zubereitet. Aber für den Preis für unsere Verhältnisse zu wenig.

Erstaunlich gute Küche, auch für nicht Peru Fans. Gehört klar zu den besten Restaurants in der Südstadt. Qualität der Speisen sehr gut. Der Service ist schnell und bemüht aber nicht wirklich geschult, was nicht dramatisch ist. Preise sind gerechtfertigt, aber billig ist es nicht. Weinkarte klein aber nur gute Flaschen drauf. Alles in allem ein echter Geheimtipp für Kölner Gourmets.

Für meinen Geschmack war es kein wirklich peruanisches Restaurant. Es fehlten viele Gerichte auf der Speisekarte; normalerweise gibt es in einem peruanischen Restaurant eine große Auswahl, Butter gab es hier aber nicht.

Für mich die Nummer 1 in Köln wenn es um leckeren knusprigen Döner geht. Aber auch Pasta und Pizza haben sie in top qualität. Indische Küche bieten sie meines Wissens nach auch an aber da bin ich nicht so belesen in dem thema. Alles in allem ein guter Ort um mit seiner Familie einen schönen Tag zu verbringen

Wir hatten ein hervorragendes Erlebnis im Flory Canela. Dieses Restaurant bietet moderne peruanische Küche, daher sollte man keine traditionellen peruanischen Gerichte erwarten, sondern kreative Neuinterpretationen – und die sind wirklich fantastisch. Wir probierten das Ceviche und das Nikkei Tiradito, beide frisch und voller Geschmack. Auch das Chicharrón und das Asado waren hervorragend, perfekt zubereitet und sehr sättigend. Die Desserts waren ebenso beeindruckend, ein süßer Abschluss eines ohnehin schon großartigen Essens. Der Service war hervorragend – herzlich, aufmerksam und sehr zuvorkommend. Sie bereiteten sogar ein spezielles Gericht für unser vierjähriges Kind zu, was wir sehr zu schätzen wussten. Der Pisco Sour war perfekt gemixt, und das Restaurant bietet eine exzellente Auswahl an Pisco, was das authentische Erlebnis abrundet. Insgesamt bietet das Flory Canela eine moderne Interpretation der peruanischen Küche, die sowohl originell als auch köstlich ist. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die eine innovative Seite der peruanischen Gastronomie mit exzellentem Service entdecken möchten.

The entire black-decorated restaurant feels very dark inside, especially when the awning is extended outside. Service was very attentive and friendly. Why a few pieces of fried yuca cost as much as elaborately prepared coriander rice isn't really clear to me.

The owner, the waitresses and all the staff served us very friendly and courteously throughout our entire stay. We were there for a few hours and drank a few cocktails, which I can also highly recommend, and ate in peace. Even when six of us wanted to pay separately, it wasn't a problem for the staff and they took the time to issue everyone an individual invoice. This is not a given. The meals were all of good quality. You should know that local music plays throughout the restaurant. So you have to talk a little louder.

We got: • Pisco sour • Ceviche • Arroz con mariscos • Arroz con pato • Tiramisu de lucuma I’d say everything’s pretty good. The service was great. However, the servings of the main dishes were pretty small for 24,9€. I’ve been to many restaurants with a Bib Gourmand distinction and they will never charge that much for a serving this little. Our bill was a total of 101€.

Were there for dinner on Friday evening with 6 people. Inconspicuous from the outside and you walk past it quickly. There was a great atmosphere inside that made us feel right at home. Were warmly welcomed. The service was attentive all evening. Everyone was pleasantly surprised at the meal. Somewhat upscale Peruvian cuisine, everything from starters to dessert was great. The only drawback is that the main course took a long time to arrive. The restaurant was very busy, so reservations should be made.

Hallo, My boyfriend Made a reservation here wanting to have a Peruvian experience. Highlights are, starters and desserts. We asked for the ceviche and it was really good, it was with a lot of lemon and made me miss home, the toasted corn very good it really transmitted me Peruvian flavors. Desserts they jus had 2 in the moment we went Tiramisú su de lúcuma and pasión de la Selva if I am correct. That was one of the best tiramisus we had, and we love this dessert, so we hope they keep their quality and the other, was very creative, it was coriander ice cream with pisco (liquor) and some salt. I really liked. But the problem was the main dishes. We asked for chicharrón l, I just have big cubes of pork over potato and sweet potato poor cook. And the beef in a basically cumin sauce with rice. Prices were higher than 20 euros for these dishes so that was a bit disappointing. All in all the service was nice and nice food but I think it was a bit overpriced

What a hidden gem in the southern part of the city. It looks inconspicuous from the outside, but when you enter the restaurant you find yourself in an absolutely tasteful, harmonious restaurant with Chilean flair. The food was exceptional, the portion was small but especially the preparation and taste. Highly recommended if you want to try something new and special. Absolutely recommended!

It's been a while since my last visit, but I agree with Helmut Gote (restaurant critic from Cologne) that if you've paid a certain amount of money for the meal, you should at least leave the restaurant full. We weren't, not even my Peruvian wife. The food is good, without a doubt, but Peruvians also like to eat a lot, with good portions, so it's not typically Peruvian. To be honest, too many bells and whistles and the service was very poor, actually overwhelmed. If you want to try something typically Peruvian, you should go to another restaurant.

We were really looking forward to visiting the restaurant, but were unfortunately disappointed. The food was not only overpriced, but simply bad. The positive reviews are incomprehensible to us, especially since we saw afterwards that there weren't that many so far. We had to wait over an hour and a half for our food, and when it finally came it was a disaster: the rice was almost raw, and the recommended pieces of beef - a small portion - were neither sous vide nor tender, but completely oversalted and tough. We sent the food back. However, the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere are positive. Unfortunately that's not enough - we can't recommend the restaurant for the food.

Expensive for the product they use. For ceviche they use the cheapest fish on the market and sell it at a completely exorbitant price for less than 100g of fish. The dried anticuchera and the past of anticuchera, the taste of the heart is not present. Very sad

Very bad service. It took 2 hours to get the order. The food was very mediocre. A seafood dish on the menu costs 23.90 euros, but the bill says 30. Something burned in the kitchen twice. It smelled terrible. All the clothes smell terrible. An interim invoice is provided (without paying taxes). The prices are not low and to be honest it is not worth it. I absolutely do not recommend it

We waited almost two hours for our main course. The starters were very tasty (about 1.5 before the main course). The main course was cold. When we asked, we didn't get an answer as to whether the dish was really served cold. Cocktails were good. The service was friendly. It was difficult to order drinks while waiting.

Wir sind zu diesem Restaurant auf Empfehlung von Freunden gekommen und waren sehr froh über die Empfehlung. Die Empanadas waren super gut und die Sauce dazu hatte ine angenehme Schärfe, aber das Chicharon war für mich das Highlight. Außen knusprig und innen saftig. Kommen definitiv wieder.

An absolute insider tip in Cologne’s southern city! There were four of us at Flor y Canela and each of us was completely thrilled. The highlight of the evening was definitely the ceviche - so fresh and perfectly seasoned that you felt like you were on the coast of Peru! The combination of tender fish, fine lime acid and a pinch of spiciness was a special kind of taste experience. We were also impressed by the service. The waitress was not only attentive and friendly, but also patiently guided us through the Peruvian menu and gave us great recommendations. You can tell that people work here with passion and dedication. We felt comfortable at all times and the atmosphere is cozy and authentic. We can heartily recommend Flor y Canela - a must for anyone who loves or wants to rediscover Peruvian cuisine!

18:00 Uhr Tisch reserviert. Um 18:10 Uhr noch draußen in der Kälte warten müssen. Nachdem man unseren Namen gefunden hatte, wurden wir eng in eine Ecke gesetzt. Man wollte uns zunächst eine ganze Flasche Wasser verkaufen. Wir wollten erstmal die Karte sehen. Nach 20 Minuten kamen die Getränke - 0,2. Um ca 18:45 Uhr die Vospeise, welche versehentlich dem Nachbartisch zugeteilt wurde. Dies wurde berichtigt. Ws war kurz vor 19 Uhr; Getränke leer. Vorspeise sehr gut, aber miniklein. Keine Bedienung kam mehr. Die Hauptspeise kam dann um kurz nach 20 Uhr. Mini-Portion; Muscheln zerkocht, Garnele steinhart, alles völlig versalzen. 100€ bezahlt, 3 Stunden unseres Lebens verschwendet. Um 22:00 Uhr Döner gegessen. Danke für nichts.

The food was very tasty, but the portions were very limited, not only for the meat but also for the side dishes. The staff was very friendly and tried hard, but sometimes seemed a bit overwhelmed. It was a shame that the online menu wasn't up to date and we were looking forward to a meal and a dessert that was no longer available in the restaurant. (so not exactly sold out but generally no longer on the menu)

Gehobene peruanische Küche, wirklich was Besonderes in Köln!

Became aware of this restaurant through a recommendation. As always, insider tips are no longer secret at some point. I had dinner there with my best friend. We both completely agreed on the following things. The food is a culinary revelation, a symphony of flavors in perfect harmony. The preparation and the dish served at the table are also a feast for the eyes! The advice of a really good waiter named Patrick helped us to taste the starter even better, thanks to a very considerate and friendly staff member of the house. Both main courses left not a single wish for very good food unfulfilled. The Argentinian red wine ordered with it rounded off the picture perfectly. The restaurant also scores with its furnishings and extremely comfortable seating. Rarely have I felt so completely at home in a restaurant. Please go there and let yourself be enchanted by a cuisine that you have never tried in person before. You won't regret it. If this is the cuisine of Peru, I definitely want to go to Peru I look forward to the next visit

Super tasty and authentic Peruvian food, extremely attentive and friendly service and a very nicely decorated restaurant. There was a bit of a strange smell in the back, but that didn't detract from the positive restaurant experience. Clear recommendation!

One of the best meals I was able to experience in Cologne. It's definitely a change from the restaurants where you usually eat. Definitely worth recommending. The ambience is very good, so you can stay in the restaurant for a little longer. You will be served very warmly. 5/5 stars!

I highly recommend to avoid this place. The service was very slow and not very friendly, we waited over 1 hour for our dishes without any excuse. The food was edible but too spicy whereas it was written lightly spicy the waiter even asked me ironically if it was not too spicy, but unfortunately, I was ill afterwards, which raises concerns about the quality of the ingredients and/or the kitchen's cleanliness. Additionally, there was a very unpleasant odor in the restaurant, reminiscent of a garbage bin, which made the dining experience quite uncomfortable.

Food was fine, nicely spiced, though I must say I got sick afterwards, so not sure about the quality of the ingredients or the cleanliness of the kitchen... Also it kind of smelled very bad (like garbage bin) in the restaurant strangely, obviously not a pleasant smell when you are eating. On top the service was super slow, we waited more than an hour for our dishes. Definitely not recommendable, sorry.

Ich war mit meinen Eltern in Peru und nun auch bei Flor y Canela in der Kölner Südstadt. Das Essen war hervorragend und absolut authentisch peruanisch. Zur Info für Kristina, deren Bewertung ich gerade gelesen habe. Auch in Peru ist die Kartoffelmasse der Causa kalt und die roten Zwiebeln in Limettensaft heißen "Salsa Criolla". Sie sind deshalb leicht scharf, weil klein gehackte Chilistücke hinzugegeben wurden. Mir hat das Chicharron mit den kross angebratenen Schweinerippenstücken und der Salsa Criolla wirklich phantastisch geschmeckt. Ein Highlight waren auch die Cocktails, insbesondere der Pisco Sour und Espresso Martini. Für Freunde der Peruanischen Küche ist das Flor y Canela eine absolute Empfehlung.

Just missing the top rating, this is a wonderful Peruvian in Cologne. And if my mother (already older) liked the ceviche so much, there can hardly be better praise. Nevertheless, there is hardly any smell of fish in the restaurant. My personal recommendations are the empanadas and the lomo saltado. My only criticisms are: - The rice wasn't cooked through (probably a bad day for the rice cooker 😉). - the room acoustics. At full capacity it can be quite loud.

Everything was incredible, I really liked it. To say the least, the price, very high prices. Good service and food too. It cost us €45 per person without dessert or coffee.

Sehr gutes Essen, gute Drinks und freundlicher Service. Nur die Weinkarte könnte größer sein.

Super leckeres Restaurant und mit einem genial Service! Immer wieder ein Besuch wert! Drinnen sehr elegant gehalten draußen eher entspannt- da können manchmal die Autos etwas lauter sein aber der Sonnenuntergang und das Essen lassen das verblassen. Kommen wieder gerne zu Besuch!
