Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Eine klare Empfehlung!

Das beste peruanische Restaurant, das ich in ganz Nordrhein-Westfalen besucht habe! Und ich bin ziemlich wählerisch, was Essen angeht … aber alles war köstlich und die Speisekarte sehr abwechslungsreich! Mein Freund und ich werden ganz sicher jeden Monat wiederkommen.

Essen könnte ein bisschen schöner hergerichtet sein, aber schmeckt lecker :)

Wenn man peruanisch essen gehen möchte, dann bekommt man hier, was man erwartet. Leckere, originale peruanische Speisen und Getränke!

Es ist ein peruanisches Restaurant, bietet aber nicht nur peruanische Gerichte an, sondern auch einige andere lateinamerikanische Spezialitäten. Hier zu essen macht mich sehr glücklich. Für mich ist es ein absolutes Muss bei jedem Kölnbesuch.

Die Parrillada „El Inca“ (Nr. 66) für zwei Personen war ein absoluter Hit: saftige Roastbeef-Medaillons, Hähnchen, Lamm, Rinderspieße, Mais und knusprige Kartoffeln, alles perfekt gegrillt und reichlich. Authentisch, lecker und fair für 52,90 €. Freundlicher Service, tolles Ambiente.

Service und Ambiente sind top. Essen preislich sehr fair und lecker :) hatte dem lombo saltado oder so ähnlich. Die Südamerikanischen Biere sollten probiert werden!

Ich liebe El Inca! Das Essen ist wie immer fantastisch, die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und der Service erstklassig. Da das Restaurant klein ist, kann es recht voll werden, daher empfiehlt es sich, früh zu kommen und im Voraus einen Tisch zu reservieren.

Wir hatten einen tollen Abend. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen auch groß. Das Restaurant war etwas enger ausgerichtet und auch etwas laut, da das Lokal ausgebucht war.

Ein sehr schönes gemütliches peruanisches Restaurant. Wir haben reserviert und als wir ankamen war es sehr voll. An diesem Tag waren die Wahlen in Peru daher hat es alles etwas länger gedauert aber das Essen war lecker. Essen war auf dem Tisch aber Getränke nicht. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr leckeres Essen in guter Lage am Rathenau-Platz. Interessant schmeckt das peruanische Spezialgetränk Chicha Morada aus Mais, das auch nach Kardamon schmeckt. Empfehlenswert ist auch die Dorade

El Inca war wie eine warme Umarmung mitten im Winter. Ich bestellte Ceviche und Causa und nahm als Extras kolumbianischen Kräutertee, Lulo-Saft und Kochbananenchips mit. Bezüglich Cocktails: Achtung- zwar werden Cocktails zum Mitnehmen mit 7,90 Euro günstiger als zum Konsumieren im Restaurant, wenn man aber in der Happy hour, zu der alle Cocktails 6,90 Euro kosten, einen Cocktail mitnimmt, kassiert der Inhaber trotzdem den Preis von 7,90 Euro ab. Da wir eigentlich hatten einkehren wollen, mangels Platz aber auf take away gewechselt haben, hätte ich einen Hinweis erwartet, dass der Verzicht auf Service und Komfort den Cocktail am Ende sogar teurer macht. Pisco sour dennoch lecker.

Ausgezeichnetes lateinamerikanisches Restaurant mit einer abwechslungsreichen Speisekarte, die peruanische, kolumbianische und mexikanische Gerichte umfasst – allesamt sehr lecker. Viele Optionen für jeden Geschmack zu einem guten Preis. Hervorragender Service, insbesondere von Herrn Carlos, dem Inhaber, der sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war. Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich hier überhaupt was schreibe, da aufgrund der Entfernung von 16.000 km die Chancen, nochmal im El Inca essen zu gehen, ehr gering sind. Aber da ich die Erinnerungsfotos unseres Besuches dort nicht ohne einen gewissen Groll ansehen kann, denke ich, es wird Zeit dies endlich zu tun. Anlässlich unseres Heimatbesuches in Deutschland habe ich Anfang des Jahres auf deren Empfehlung meinen südamerikanischen Teil der Familie “beim Inca” zum Essen eingeladen. Mit Reservierung, wie dort empfohlen. Emailkontakt mit Restaurant war einfach, die Reservierungsbestätigung für einen Tisch für sieben folgte prompt. Am Abend selber erreichten wir sieben nacheinander, jedoch pünktlich, das Restaurant. Als ich ankam, saßen die anderen an einem Tisch gedeckt für sechs. Ich kann verstehen, dass Servicepersonal nicht sofort jemanden begrüßen kann, wenn der Laden um 18 Uhr schon gerammelt voll ist, habe aber das Gefühl, wenn ich nicht jemanden angesprochen hätte, es noch einiges länger gedauert hätte, bis Kontakt hergestellt gewesen wäre. Der Herr war auch recht unbeeindruckt, als ich sagte, ich hätte für sieben und nicht für sechs Leute reserviert. Auf meine Frage, ob es einen anderen Tisch gäbe, schaute er verträumt Löcher in die Luft, bevor er mir mitteilte “nein”. Da ansonsten auch keine Reaktion kam, um die Situation zu retten, hab ich nach einem siebten Gedeck gefragt, welches tatsächlich schnell kam. Das Essen und die Getränke waren gut. Jedoch musste ich den ganzen Abend dafür büßen, dass ich anfangs “so forsch” gewesen bin; alles was ich bestellt hab, kam mit Verspätung und teilweise erst auf Nachfragen. Leute, kommt mal besser darauf klar, dass Frauen auch mal den Mund aufmachen können! Da es auch Personal gab, dass sich Mühe gegeben hat, gibt es zwei Sterne. Aber es ist wie immer: für einen schalen Beigeschmack reicht schon ein faules Ei…

Es handelt sich um ein Restaurant im Souterrain. Ambiente ist ganz nett. Allerdings sind die Stühle/Tische teils Recht eng gestellt. Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen ist gut. Wenig Vegetarisches. Nicht übermäßig günstig, aber Preise noch OK.

Preis/Leistung stimmt, Ambiente sehr angenehm. Ich kenne kein "authentisches" Essen. Es war sehr lecker mit großer Auswahl. Auf jeden Fall reservieren! Und en bisschen Zeit mitbringen 😉

I absolutely fell in love with the restaurant; the food is truly authentic, and I felt like I was currently ordering aji de gallina in Peru. The Papa a la Huancaina was also extremely good. My friend, who had never eaten Peruvian food before, also fell in love. The servers were all extremely friendly, and we felt very well looked after. The decor is also worth mentioning!

The South American food was delicious (the beef in particular was juicy and of good quality). The typical cocktail, Pisco, was also a delight. The prices are affordable. The service was good and friendly. However, the seating is very close together, a real challenge for larger people. Overall, the restaurant is highly recommended and is a real splash of color in the Rathenauviertel.

It was super delicious, the atmosphere deserves 3 stars because I'm not a fan of cellars, but it was still really nice, so they definitely made the best of it. The tables could perhaps be placed a bit further apart, although that would probably waste a lot of space.. Anyway, it was definitely delicious and a large portion for a really fair price :) Lots of specials and really friendly service!! I would recommend making a reservation on weekends and Friday afternoons and evenings, and you should definitely expect a moderate amount of background noise.

El Inca – My absolute favorite restaurant for years! I've been going to El Inca regularly for about eight or nine years now – and for me, it's simply one of the best restaurants ever. It's one of those rare places where you immediately feel at home. For me, El Inca isn't just a restaurant, but a piece of home for the soul. The ambiance is simply top-notch: colorful, vibrant, full of loving details – traditional Peruvian and yet incredibly inviting. Every time I'm there, I discover something new in the decor that makes me smile. The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. And anyone who's tried the Peruvian cocktail Pisco Sour will understand why I say it's the best cocktail ever! I look forward to it every time. What you should know: You should bring a bit of time, because it can sometimes take a while. But honestly – that's part of it. Because at El Inca, it's all about enjoyment, about togetherness, about arriving. The value for money is absolutely spot on, and I can only say: I'll be happy to return again and again. Thanks to the El Inca team for so many wonderful and delicious years!

This lovely restaurant is tucked away in a basement. The service is truly friendly and helpful, a true caring person! The South American ambiance is very well-executed. The tables are close together. The food is varied and very tasty. If you like meat, the beef fillet skewer is a great choice. Cooked medium-rare, cooked to perfection.

The best restaurant experience we've had recently. I surprised my boyfriend. We were both a little unsure when we arrived because you first have to go down to the basement. Then you step inside, and a whole new world opens up. I can't put it any other way. It's bustling, with lots of decorations, music, and only cheerful people. It was so refreshing and heartwarming; we felt like we were on vacation. The waiters were super friendly and explained the menu, including its specialties and special features. Everyone spoke Spanish, and what we liked best was that at least 50% of the guests spoke Spanish and many knew each other. People greeted each other and chatted, and we felt like spectators in another, positive world. That's why I would immediately give the ambiance more than 5 stars if that were possible. The food was excellent. There's an incredibly large selection, the portions are generous, and there's so much to choose from that makes it difficult to decide. They also offered very typical cocktails made with Pisco, which virtually every table ordered. We felt incredibly comfortable and will definitely be back very soon. I've recommended it several times. It was a real highlight!

A restaurant with a menu of different "Latin American dishes" (not only Peruvian food). The restaurant's decoration has a mix of cultures; However, the food does not have any authentic flavor. I came because of the reviews and it was frankly very disappointing. I don't know if my compatriots have lost their palate and taste by living abroad for so long. Of course if you want to eat good Peruvian food, this IS NOT THE PLACE.

Special atmosphere, you immediately feel at home. Waiters always friendly and stress-free even though it was very busy, you have to wait a little longer for drinks. Tables are very close together and a bit loud, but that gives it a special charm like it is in Peru. The food is something unusual from their homeland and is worth trying, is tasty and is served hot. Also on offer are South American beers from the bottle and also German draft beer. The cocktails are very good and have a good selection.

We have been coming to el Inca for 3 years. The staff is super nice. The interior is so lovingly designed with many authentic decorative elements. The food is extremely delicious! My boyfriend is from South America and for him it's like a trip home. Try the frozen yuca! The Pisco sour is definitely a recommendation!!! The best I've ever had. Just one to go is recommended.

An absolute must for lovers of Peruvian cuisine! The restaurant impresses across the board - from the friendly, attentive staff to the authentic and incredibly tasty dishes. I would particularly like to highlight the ceviche, which is wonderfully fresh and aromatic, as well as the lomo saltado - tender meat, perfectly seasoned. The grill plate is also a real treat and offers a great selection. As a finishing touch I can only recommend the Pisco Sour – just the right balance of sweetness and acidity. I'll definitely come back.

El Inca is an absolutely recommended place with a lot of atmosphere and authentic charm. The furnishings are lovingly designed, very traditional and immediately give you the feeling of immersing yourself in another world, warm, inviting and real. The food was consistently delicious: fresh, intensely flavored and definitely prepared with passion. The service was also super friendly, attentive and helpful. You can tell that real hospitality is practiced here. Everything was clean and well maintained, which only underlines the positive overall impression. When we were there the store was very busy, which of course speaks for its popularity. This meant that it was a bit lively and less quiet in places, but that's part and parcel of a popular pub somewhere. Maybe not ideal for large groups who want to sit for longer, but that's more of a personal comment and by no means a defect of the store. On the contrary: El Inca has just the right amount of life, warmth and quality.

Wow, the food is very delicious, typical Peruvian. If you want something 3B (good -nice -cheap) you have to go to this restaurant. The delicious ceviche and the drinks like pisco and soursop juice I recommend.

Without realizing it, we spontaneously stepped onto Latin American soil and felt catapulted into a realm of exclusive and authentic, top-class cuisine. Even though preparing the cocktails took a bit of time, the taste of the excellently prepared drinks easily made up for this minor drawback. I would describe the decor as rustic South American and it perfectly complemented our trip into this foreign world. A full 3.5 hours (212 minutes to be exact) felt like an hour and allowed us to forget the worries of everyday life. That's how it should be. We would gladly come back and thank you for this unexpected, but all the more enjoyable, experience.
