We were here with 25 people for the Christmas party. The mood/ambience was excellent, only surpassed by the friendliness of the staff and the outstanding quality of the food and drinks.

This is my favourite restaurant in all of cologne. The food is delicious, the service is warm and friendly and the ambiance cannot be beat. Highly recommend.

Great Peruvian food, the atmosphere there is authentic.. beautifully decorated, warm and loud. El Inca is always worth a visit, but never without a reservation.

I visited this place 2 years ago and it became one of my favorite Peruvian restaurants in Germany Today I took my team so they can try it, it was such a disappointment The lomo saltado was served with yellow rice. The aji de gallina was dry, too spicy even for me that I'm Peruvian, and with fat pieces ....it felt like it was done a week ago. It was the most disgusting aji de gallina I ever tasted. Causa and ceviche were ok The chicharrón de pescado, it tasted like it was re fried a couple of times The yuca ...was so dry, also tasted like it was from yesterday. Not at all the tasty food it used to be, and I'm never returning again.

I love this place. I'm just wondering why the cocktail in the Pitcher is €0.50 more expensive than the individual cocktails?

Not recommended for vegetarians. But the only vegetarian dish they had (quesedilla) was very well made, and that for 12,8 €

Good home-style Peruvian cuisine since the 90s. Good service and cocktails. The prices are still moderate. Unfortunately, all dishes, main courses and starters have shrunk considerably. Significantly less food is now served and savings are made in this way.

We had dinner at El Inca last Saturday for the first time, and I must say, everything was amazing! Great food and excellent service. We had a lovely time, and I would absolutely come back very soon!

Just wow 🤩 ‼️ A really great time here. The food was OUTSTANDING for fair prices! I would never have found this place without dyli.food recommendations as its very discreet. Still if you are in Köln looking for great south american or spanish food go there. You cannot do wrong (and try to go on a less sunny day as the restaurant doesn’t have a terrace).

My favorite restaurant, when you go down the stairs and enter the restaurant you feel like you are in another world, great atmosphere, friendly people, delicious food and great drinks. What more could you want?

I love the place. It is like a Latin American oasis within the center of Colonia. With friendly service and excellent ceviche and meat. The prices are adequate for what they serve (fish ceviche €12.50, barbecue for two €49). We will return

Ever had peruvian? give it a try in this basement restaurant! Pretty big fan of the dorado(a) but the mexican/south american influence is pretty much pouring out of every dish and the atmosphere as well. you get culture shock just leaving the place, definitely swing by

Last night we were at “El Inca”. We were there around 7 p.m. on a Friday and didn't have a reservation. Nevertheless, even though it was extremely crowded, we thankfully got a seat. The staff was super nice. We ordered empañadas as a starter. Class. I then had “Lomo Saltodo” as my main course and should have eaten less overall that day. The portion size was enormous and the quality and taste was A1. In addition, I treated myself to the Inca Cola. Yummy. Last but not least, I ordered a piña colada. Finally a restaurant that does this excellently. Not too sweet and nice and creamy. Thanks for the great evening. We go there regularly now.

A small restaurant with character and a happy atmosphere! We had a very nice evening at El Inca. Meat and fish lovers will get their money's worth here and we recommend the "The Chef Recommends" section (or similar) in the menu. After we ate we sat together for a while and had a good chat over Peruvian and Colombian beer.

The food is just so bad that you lose the joy of eating out. Tasteless, bad products. Unfortunately it wasn't the first time. There are Peruvian/Latin American cuisine restaurants worthy of their name. El Inca is definitely not one of them. Too bad.

A restaurant with a menu of different "Latin American dishes" (not only Peruvian food). The restaurant's decoration has a mix of cultures; However, the food does not have any authentic flavor. I came because of the reviews and it was frankly very disappointing. I don't know if my compatriots have lost their palate and taste by living abroad for so long. Of course if you want to eat good Peruvian food, this IS NOT THE PLACE.

No air conditioning, uncomfortable chairs, far too narrow. The waiter poured juice all over his pants, backpack and shoes. I had to subject the 3 parts to an intensive cleaning and we didn't even get a discount for that, we also had to pay for the drink. Food looks good, but doesn't taste great in our eyes. That was definitely our last time here.

I was in Cologne for a few days and became aware of this small restaurant through a voucher offer. Very good South American meat. All dishes tasted very good and the staff was very welcoming. I can recommend it to everyone.

Food was great, the rest was very bad. Waited half an hour for a cocktail and then the waitress appeared twice at 4 tables and was very listless and overwhelmed. Rarely seen such bad service. Wow.

Great food in a nice atmosphere! Very nicely decorated restaurant, very pleasant despite the hot temperatures. The portion was more than enough and everyone enjoyed it very much! Cocktails are great and don't just taste like alcohol or are too sweet. Happy to come back! :)

Always delicious! We have Lomo Saltado, Yucas Fritas, Causa Rellena de Palta, Ají de Gallina, Chicha morada and Pisco Sour. Everything was very well prepared and tasted great. Like in Peru. Value for money 5 stars. I can only recommend.

Im Latino so I know about South American food and I need to said that this place is top on my list not only in Cologne also in Europe, the taste of the ingredients are really authentic (I would love to know where are they shopping everyday) 🙈 I had Guanabana juice and Lulo which was amazing and reminded me to be in Colombia, the prices are good as the quality is perfect and the staff are really friendly to help you with your order, definitely I will like to recommend you this place and just try as many options as you can, hope to go back on my next holidays One plus is that is open in Sundays and is most then perfect to go with your partner to have a new place to discover (as I did and it was a perfect idea)

One of my favorite restaurants in Cologne and has been around for over 30 years! The employees are super nice, you are greeted with a smile and feel welcome. The decor is quite rustic but totally comfortable, you feel like you're on vacation and far away from Cologne. The food is very good, top quality and varied. The cocktails are also really good and there are special prices on them every day. I will gladly come again :)

You will receive a warm welcome in this restaurant. However, not only is the service really good, but also the food. The only drawback that could be mentioned is that you can't sit outside. Thanks to the team and we will definitely come back again.

Discovered this great Peruvian restaurant in the middle of Cologne. The interior of the restaurant is in the basement and is really unusual but beautifully decorated. The food and drinks came quite quickly and everything was really delicious. We would come back at any time

Solid Peruvian restaurant that has maintained quality even after 10 years since we last visited. Good ceviche. Prices are ok (unfortunately Peruvian food is always very expensive in Germany). You have to make a reservation and bring your time.

A small restaurant with a very individual interior. The restaurant is located in the basement and can only be reached via stairs. The furnishings are dark and simple, but the decoration is more colorful and rich. Pictures, signs and figures from South America decorate the interior and the counter is occupied by a herd of plush llamas. The waitresses are very friendly and helpful, so you immediately feel at home as a guest. The menu offers a cross-section of South American cuisine and contains something for every taste, from meat to fish and vegetarian dishes. Likewise the drinks menu. Anyone who wants to get to know the cuisine of South America is in good hands. The restaurant is very popular, so make a reservation.

A wonderful restaurant with very good food and fantastic drinks and cocktails. On Sundays there is happy hour for cocktails and it's worth it. We had our business lunch here (16 people) and we were all absolutely satisfied. The staff is super nice and accommodating, quick and we were just completely happy. Me again 😁, Today, I visited the restaurant and unfortunately, I can't recommend this place at all. Tho the restaurant was half full, we had to wait in order to give our orders. The first dish was the ragout with chicken. The regout was on 2 potatoes and with rice. In my opinion, the rice was not done. The ragout was nothing special and I have had the feeling that the ingredients were not fresh and more convenience food. The same feeling did I have with the other dish, was the one with tortillas. I did not could finish it. The tortillas were tasting like nothing. I also post the the bill in order to show that I was here. So, absolutely can't understand the good reviews. No recommendations on my behalf.

Well the food is quite good but the service is really subpar! Not recommendable. You can get better and friendlier somewhere else!

Basically a small, charming shop with a lot of atmosphere. But you could also say: too small for so many people and far too loud. But some also call it mood. It was too much of a 'mood' for me. Overall, only 3 out of 5* for me, but given the sum of the good reviews, the operators seem to be doing a lot of things right (for other guests) and doing well. A full house is always good for the host. In detail: Eat: Unfortunately there were too many cheap and cooked mussels and cooked prawns in the ceviche mixto. A ceviche consists primarily of raw fish that is cold-cooked in lime juice. However, you had to look for the fish. The English steak ordered was medium and the medium ordered was well-done. The bowls of dips served with the appetizer platters (grilled) were tiny and immediately empty. In summary: everything was "kind of ok", but nothing more than that. Therefore 3 out of 5 * Service: The starters arrived at the table with hungry guests after 1:15 hours. The drink orders had to be asked several times and the salads for the main course were not delivered but were only served upon request. Friendly. 2 out of 5* Ambience: As I wrote above: sweet, but extremely full and narrow and loud. The size of the table could politely be described as intimate, but I found it a bit too small. Price-performance: For me the price, in relation to the use of goods/quality, was unfortunately only a 2 out of 5*

It's plain and simple awesome. I have been there countless times and it is always a pleasure to return. The ceviche is, without a doubt, one of the best they have on the menu; never disappoints.

Very tasty food. I had the vegetarian quesedilla (#40). Cocktails were also really delicious and they didn't skimp on the alcohol either. There are regular happy hours. However, at these happy hours there can sometimes be slightly longer waiting times for drinks.

The location is very beautiful and authentic. The service was very friendly and the drinks were delicious. The food was extremely tasty and the ceviche in particular was very tasty. For the main course we had the grill plate for two people. The meat was first class and the side dishes were great too. Absolute recommendation! A small detail that could be improved is that it is a bit cramped in the restaurant and the toilet is not at the same level as the rest of the location. We'd love to come back!
