Tried the cheeseburger and Cajun fries at Five Guys. The burger was juicy, flavorful, and fully customizable. You can add as many toppings as you want, and everything tasted fresh. They offer options for everyone—if you’re cutting carbs, you can go bunless or swap the bun for lettuce. It’s a nice touch if you want something lighter. The Cajun fries were a standout—crispy, well-seasoned, and served in a big portion. Spicy but not overwhelming. Also their hotdog sandwich & milkshake is a must tryy💯💯 Service was fast, staff were friendly, and everything felt made-to-order. Prices are a bit higher than typical fast food, but the quality justifies it. Good experience overall. Definitely worth trying.

A burger is not a burger without tomato and lettuce at the very least....come on!

I'm actually a huge Five Guys fan and could almost argue that I ate the best burger of my life at a Five Guys location near Seattle. I've also had some really good burgers there in Munich a few times. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case on my last visit. The burger bun wasn't as soft and "squishy" as usual, and the patties weren't nearly as smashed as they normally are. The cheese wasn't melted onto the meat on the grill; instead, it was added completely unmelted when the toppings were being added. Even the usually phenomenal fries weren't cooked through and barely crispy. To be fair, it was extremely busy, and the guy at the grill seemed like he was on his first day. Nevertheless, I was very disappointed... especially for the price (almost €30 for a burger with small fries and a drink). Hopefully, things will improve!

I ordered Uber Eats Takeout at around 11:40 PM, the seller accepted the order and started the delivery, but at 12:50 AM the order was suddenly canceled, so I never had the opportunity to order from another restaurant at that time.

Zero stars would be appropriate. The food isn't even mediocre and is far too overpriced. Due to the high demand, even the fries are inedible. Food is served by number, which is very confusing as there are no monitors and the staff speaks no German and only very poor English.

I've never been treated so badly; the meat was dry and everything was filthy. I'll never go there again in my life.

The service deserves even one star too many. After I called because my order hadn't arrived, an employee said he didn't care, hung up on me, and hasn't answered the phone since, despite multiple attempts. The worst service ever. Stick with this other provider. There are plenty of alternatives with significantly better service.

The food was very high quality, with slightly high prices, but the quality justified them. The only problem was that during dinner, a homeless person (with a McDonald's cup without having purchased anything on the premises) came up to the third floor while we were eating, and no one kindly took him out. Otherwise, the free refills with a wide variety of flavors and free refills on the sauces were very convenient.

The food here was good and they allow you to choose a lot of different options that don't increase the price . The chips are also always a very generous serving. It was however super busy , potentially as it was new years day and lots of other things were closed. The coped well with the crowd and I was able to find a seat up on the top floor. For larger groups it would of been difficult to get seating together.

One of the worst burgers of my life, and ridiculously overpriced to boot. The burger was dry and completely unsalted, the fries soggy and also unseasoned. All this for €20… I strongly advise against it!

The food as always is good and tasty, today i tasted the cheese sandwich which is excellent. What it is a pity is the attitude of the personal which are tough, making failures and when you mention them they are not even nice and recognize them. I also mention that the peanuts box did not have s single one and they said it is what it is, no sorry nothing.

Just a fast food joint that actually tastes good and not like cardboard. Expensive but lwk worth it. Lots of people, service not too slow though and did have a place to sit.

Understaffed during Christmas time and the staff that is there has completely no idea about the service. Multiple minutes of choosing the ingredients at the counter but receiving still the wrong food. Absolutely overhyped and the food is not that great either.

The hamburgers and fries are very good but a bit expensive than other fast food chains. However, their patty is the best. If you don't have tolerance to high dose of salt, I do not recommend fries with cajun seasoning. Also, the view from third floor is nice at the Christmas.

Maybe this place is the only place with such bad service, but I won't be going to Five Guys again. The service is terrible, despite the rather high prices: I waited 25 minutes for a cheeseburger, and that was after I'd already gone over to find out what was wrong, and I wasn't the only one. The kitchen is filthy, the staff wear gloves when cleaning and cooking, and the restroom is just as bad. I gave the burger one star, but 13 euros is still a high price for it.

Good sandwiches, not big, sky-high prices, great place

It's really great when you drive all the way from the Olympic Park to the old town and arrive at 10:40 PM to find a Five Guys restaurant closed, even though Google says it should be open until 11:30 PM. Looks like you guys don't want to make any money...

The burgers are good. They're a bit expensive. For some reason, this branch didn't offer a complimentary peanut snack. The restroom, located on the top floor, is clean and spacious.

München’s coldest burgers. Gave me diarrhea

Our fries tasted like cold wet cardboard and they gave us a paper cup when we paid for pfand, so basically we burned 2 euro for no reason and ate cold fries.

Firefox Guys is in a good location—but: I don't have high standards for cleanliness, but the restrooms were unacceptable: broken, dirty, and in need of renovation. The dining area could also use some attention. The burgers: good patties and buns, preparation was relatively quick, but the price is too high for the portion size (€11 for a small burger without any sides). The staff was okay—you can get by with English.

The managers on duty are very rude. The beer was cold and asked for a replacement or refund. The manager said no and all order is given back after heated argument. Proper staff training is needed. The restaurant also smell very heavy grease. I recommend you to Stay away

I have a severe peanut/nut allergy and asked for allergen information several times in German and English before ordering. I was assured that no nuts were included. Nevertheless, the burger was prepared with peanut oil (which I wasn't informed of). After a few minutes, an ambulance had to be called, I was taken to the hospital, and there an allergic reaction to peanut oil was confirmed. What's particularly disappointing is that I haven't received any feedback from management to this day, even though I reported the incident by email on November 2, 2025. I urgently request better training for the staff regarding allergens and communication! This can be life-threatening for allergy sufferers!!!

Food was edible service was bad dirty shop go if you want something fast

Incapable of counting, you order three burgers and two orders of fries, and after an hour you only get one burger and one order of fries. You should pay decent salaries; then maybe you'll attract people who can count, read, and write, instead of just those who only went to school until the third grade. Giving you a bill for over €43 when you only get one burger and one order of fries is practically fraud.

The burger is good, but at that price you might as well go to a restaurant where the quality will be much better. It's okay in a pinch, that's all.

These burgers are certainly not the "tastiest burgers in town." Apart from the freshly prepared meat, everything was cold; not even the cheese was melted. Instead of relish, they served pickles—they probably thought it was almost the same thing. Oh well. For over €20… Surprisingly, the restroom was clean; otherwise, this place would get less than one star. This review applies only to this Five Guys location.

I've heard so many times over the years, about the amazing burger at five guys so I had to give it a try when I came across it in Munich. The restaurant is pretty nice, everything is self service and you order from a screen kiosk. The burger was alright, but nothing amazing. The beef was high quality but not cooked all that great. The buns were pretty average and most toppings were just ok. It needs a better sauce that just mustard, ketchap and mayo. The only topping that was great was the bacon, it was really really Krispy. The unlimited soda is a good touch, with a big variety of flavors to choose and the fries were spot on. Not sure if I would ever eat again at five guys. I've had way better burgers for less money.

I ordered a burger without mushrooms, but received a lot. Refills and free peanuts are great. Unfortunately, the fries were cold.

I think fries taste better than hamburgers

Food is good normal Five guys in America. But worth going to seeing a four story five guys. Bath rooms are on the 4th floor. Try to get the top floor you will get great views of the market.

40 minutes before closing. 10-minute wait at the register. The restaurant was empty. Three patties on the grill… Then the announcement: Register is closed, please order at the terminal… If the service and cleanliness (it looked like a battlefield) were the same in other branches as in this one… then the Five Guys issue would unfortunately be over for us in Germany… Dear manager: perhaps a good internal clean-up is in order ✌️

Expensive, bad food. It was our first time here. We didn't know we had to clear our own tables. We were immediately stressed out by the staff. You wouldn't even give that food to a dog.

Ordering is a disaster. The terminals are set to English by default. Then you wait with your number for your order. Drinks and food arrive separately, so you end up standing around with a drink in your hand. There's no display of the numbers. Instead, someone calls out the number in English that's just as bad as German, and in a noisy room. If you don't understand, you wait forever for your food, which sits in the back and gets cold. What a terrible concept! The food was good, but the rooms are cold, functional, and not very appealing. At least they're clean; they make an effort there.

I love the burgers and generous portions of fries at Five Guys. The food here is also good, but it's crowded and chaotic. I wandered every floor until I found a single seat. The tables are always empty, so they can't be cleaned. Beggars are hanging around asking for food and money.

I was rather disappointed with my visit. The food didn't impress me, and the quality seems to vary from visit to visit. The cleanliness of the restaurant also left much to be desired – the restrooms, in particular, were uninviting and smelled unpleasant. The prices seemed quite high to me, considering the portion sizes and the quality offered. Furthermore, I would appreciate it if the restaurant placed more emphasis on sustainability – for example, the burgers are wrapped in aluminum foil, which is no longer acceptable these days. Large store located right in the city center. Ordering is possible at the terminal. When picking up your order, the staff sometimes speak so quietly that you can't understand anything. The food was okay. Only the cleanliness of the store could be improved.

Five Guys on Neuhauser Straße offers really good burgers and fries—freshly prepared and deliciously seasoned. The atmosphere is typically American: relaxed and modern, ideal for a quick snack downtown. One small drawback: it's often very crowded, especially on weekends, and the prices are quite high. Nevertheless, it's worth a visit if you're craving really good burgers.

Delicious and expensive A full meal costs 25 euros

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try this Five Guys and only know it from Vienna. It says it's open until 3:00 AM, but that's NOT true (it's only open until midnight)!! We were also very rudely informed by an employee that they were closed.

I was eating, I went to the toilet and when I came back my food was gone. My friend was still there at the table talking to someone on the phone. A employee took my food and they didn't want to give me another portion of fries. The atmosphere was extremely bad. I'm never eating there again.

Five Guys is always good, a bit pricey, like, very expensive. Yes, but it was solid, so you can't complain. We sat right at the top because it was relaxed. It was also great that they gave you extra fries in your bag. Yes, it was good.

Worst five guy’s experience! Hamburger was tasteless , fries weren’t cooked well. So disappointed

Extremely expensive. We paid 50 euros for 2 burgers with fries and water. For the same price we could have gone somewhere to eat a "normal meal" and not something fast like what this particular shop offers. The burger was a little higher quality than McDonald's. The fries were actually nice and very crispy. The burger, however, was nothing special and we would not choose it again under any circumstances. What disgusted us so much that we got up as we were and left (I don't blame the shop) but there are too many mice in this particular location. We found ourselves at the shop around 9 tonight, these days that we have been in Munich we have walked around it all and we have not seen any mice anywhere. We're not saying they don't exist, but outside of that specific spot it seems like it's their little spot and they're lazy. Completely disgusting. Regardless of what could happen in any other store, the quality doesn't justify the price and we wouldn't choose it again.

The burgers are good, but the service is bad because I didn't get the side dishes I ordered. I guess the person who makes the burgers can't read. The price is high and there are leftovers on the tables.

From a beef hamburger that costs €12, I expect that I won't get some weird, watery meat product that tastes of nothing but cardboard. Whether it's takeout or eat-in, everything was packed in a bag. The fries were squashed into a paper cup, and anything that didn't fit was scattered throughout the bag. The value for money is terrible. 2 burgers and 1 fries for €34 without a drink is almost outrageous. Unfortunately, I had to give it one star; Five Guys doesn't deserve a single star.

Too expensive but also delicious and very satisfying

Very disorganized and unhygienic. The way they put the potatoes in the bag where the food is transported is ridiculous. Regarding the quality of the burger, it was very poor. We ordered mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. Only one mushroom arrived... very poorly served... Poor quality potatoes. I don't recommend it even if you're hungry.

Ordered: Vegetarian burger with lots of vegetables and grilled mushrooms Received: Burger with 2 beef patties My bill listed the veggie burger, and the package I received listed the veggie burger; so, of course, I trusted the employees to be able to process my order correctly. A little later, at home, I opened the package, which specifically stated (!) that the veggie burger was available, and was surprised by two greasy beef patties, so tightly covered in cheese that I ended up having to settle for soggy bread with one (1) tomato slice and a quarter of a lettuce leaf. Even if that's all, I can only rate the ambiance as satisfactory; the only positive here was the relatively short wait time. Unfortunately, I couldn't complain to the restaurant by phone, as I was abroad at the time and didn't want to pay extra for a phone call after having just paid €7 for a cold, WRONG burger. To receive a positive review from me, at least the order should be correct, as one would expect from a restaurant.

"Five Guys" claims in its advertisements that their potatoes are never frozen. That's completely idiotic: Nobody freezes potatoes. At most, the fries are frozen or refrigerated. Furthermore, they package them in aluminum foil. Aluminum is toxic. I would never eat there.
