Five Guys Munich in München

I've been to this place twice now. I'm not a fan of this burger chain, but a relative loves 'five gays'. He loves the style of burgers, the fries, and the fact that you can drink as much as you want for just one drink. So, I got a voucher on my second visit. There were serious communication problems due to the language barrier. Personally, I don't like it there. I'm not enthusiastic about the burgers, and I find loud rock music while eating distracting.

The food itself tasted okay, but nothing special. Some toppings were missing from our order, such as tomatoes. The prices are too high for what you get. The branch had some tables that weren't clean during my visit.

Pleasure in a paper bag. For real.

Great for a break or to spend some quality time with friends

A large space divided into three floors, there is room for everyone. The sandwiches and chips reflect the Five Guys quality. Each floor is equipped with a drink dispenser and sauces on the support tables... the prices are a bit high, as in other Five Guys restaurants scattered around Europe.

It's really delicious and you can customize your order with your favorite ingredients. The staff are also super nice. I highly recommend it.

For 21 euros, I was handed two lumps of mush wrapped in aluminum foil (one was supposed to be the hot dog, the other the cheeseburger) in a bag over the counter for "eating here." The delivery consisted of an incomprehensible shout of numbers in English, the likes of which I've only ever experienced at the airport gate in Mozambique.

The restaurant is well-known and their burgers are made from beef, but their prices are very expensive. 4 double meat meals cost 80€, which is equivalent to 355 riyals.

The ingredients ordered were not what was ordered for the burgers. The food was prepared for takeout, even though it was ordered in person. Water was included in the order, but not served. The place was noisy and dirty.

Burgers were awful - meat is mediocre, cheese unemelted and cold, buns almost stale - though they've arrived pretty quickly. There was noone to clean the tables. And of course the prices are insane..

€27 for a Coke, bacon cheeseburger, and medium fries. The fries were simply thrown into the bag, and the burger was missing bacon. After complaining, I got a large portion of bacon, but it was completely burnt and dry as a rusk. My food had been sitting there for about 15 minutes to keep warm, so it was only lukewarm. The only positive thing is that you can refill your drink. I definitely wouldn't go back.

Absolutely terrible. I was hoping the chain would be better than what I'm used to. Dirty outside. Greasy burgers, oversalted fries, and everything just thrown into a paper bag for two people for €40 with one drink. As a restaurateur, I would be ashamed.

Once and never again. Prices are completely exorbitant. A cheeseburger for almost €10. And then it's wrapped in aluminum foil, even though you're in a restaurant? Not my cup of tea, taste-wise.

I went to the last floor to use the toilette and there are bags of imported foodstuffs lying in the hallway, from potatoes (presumably US made - think what they feed those potatoes) to peanut oil (same thing). I'm not eating imported American junk food.

The burger and fries were okay, but nothing more. For the price, you'd expect something better. The staff spent more time talking to each other than serving customers. The outside area was completely covered and dirty. Of course, the customers share some of the responsibility, but it wouldn't hurt to empty the trash cans more often and clean up a bit. Paid €51 for two people... Of course, you know that when you order... but keep in mind... once and never again. €7.50 for a small cup of fries 🍟 🤨 no thanks. Save your money and go get a kebab or pizza if you want something quick.

Ten people took forever to make two burgers. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger without any extras and a burger with "all the way"... but in the end, the bacon cheeseburger also came with "all the way." A customer complained that both machines were out of ice cubes, and the staff didn't care. The waiters walked around, helped themselves to the drinks machine, but didn't bother to refill the ice cubes. The fries tasted like they were eating salt on their own and were just soggy. Many tables weren't cleaned. It's a shame.

We paid 35 euros for 2 burgers and 1 fries, which is fine. Five Guys is normally worth the money, but this branch was truly awful. After waiting in line for half an hour, the burgers were delivered misshapen and cold. I chose the Cajun fries, but they were so spicy and stale that I had an upset stomach and couldn't even eat them. The service is absolutely terrible, too. They don't even provide a tray; they just dump the fries and burgers into a bag. Therefore, I absolutely do not recommend this branch.

The burger was very good as always, but the fries were soggy and cold, when you expect crispy, hot fries. The service was a bit lacking, as the servers speak very quickly, and non-German speakers almost have to guess what you're ordering. The view is very nice, but it's not worth the experience.

If you can't eat anything with a piece of beef in it, find another place. Vegetarians should know that their burger is bad...really bad. Try Ruff's Burger, a few minutes' walk away, and you'll be rewarded.

I was in shock when I saw the filthy counter. I was almost ready to vomit. By the time I got the food, it was inedible food, like feces in the bowl in my bag. Take Switzerland as an example; we don't have such a mess anywhere. Disgusting!!

An excellent fast food chain located in the heart of Munich, spread over 3 floors. The service is fast, and drinks are unlimited, with a fountain on each floor, which is very convenient.

The burger itself wasn't bad, but definitely not worth €13. It had barely any flavor and seemed to melt into a mass, and the patty was too small for the bun. The fries weren't particularly crispy and didn't seem to be cooked all the way through.

I can honestly say it's the best hamburger I've ever had. I had the chance to try it twice during my five-day trip. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is excellent. The fact that they make the burgers right in front of the waiting audience is a testament to their cleanliness.

Good food at a very expensive price. I'm only giving it 4 stars because a burger cost €14, which is quite expensive for fast food. At other restaurants, you can get a complete meal with a burger, fries, and a drink for just €10. However, I really liked that for just €4.20, you get an unlimited refillable cup that you can fill with a very wide selection of drinks.

The food was OK, the location was rather mediocre. Everything was too crowded. The staff were completely stressed and unmotivated. The fries were simply thrown into the bag with a scoop. Regardless of whether you bought small, medium, or large fries, the portion size was always a scoopful. It's by far the worst Five Guys restaurant I've ever been to (and I've been to many in several countries...) My small bacon cheeseburger was burnt, as was the bacon and the bun, stale. My wife ordered a veggie burger, and when she opened the package, it looked like an inedible mess, smothered with cheese and oozing all over the place, and cold...and what about the employees? Rude, lazy... I told one of them that the quality of the food was very poor, and he tried to tease me. Laughing, he suggested I could leave a message on a small board on the second floor where kids could have fun painting, coloring, and sticking Post-it notes... Furthermore, the cleanliness of the place leaves a lot to be desired: dirty, with uncleared trays on several tables, etc. In short, it was a regrettable, horrible experience. So, if you're going to Munich, don't even think about eating at this Five Guys (and, by extension, I would advise against anyone in Munich), because you might have a very bad experience... It was catastrophic for me, way too much salt which made me drink 2 liters of water later, just bad, and later I got diarrhea.

Tasty but expensive for fast food!

At first we wanted to go to Mac, we went in, and there was a line and nowhere for three of us to sit, not enough space, we didn’t want to eat standing up, so we went on. We saw this place and decided to try it. We got a hamburger, chicken and a vegetarian sandwich, as well as two small French fries and two glasses of drinks. All this cost 50 euros, the portions were large, tasty, we couldn’t finish it. If you order, know that when you order something, the fries will be included, so you don’t have to order, you buy a glass and any drinks are included in the price without restrictions, mayonnaise and ketchup are poured at the end of the room themselves, as much as you need, there are also free peanuts. The place has three floors plus tables outside. The atmosphere is pleasant, worth a visit. Better and cheaper than Mac.

I was going to the bathroom until some vendor started threatening me that I wasn't allowed to go to the bathroom even though we had already paid for the food, but I managed to get to the bathroom after a little investigation. The hot dog was good.

The description only said that they were with cashews, but it did not mention anywhere that they were very spicy. I politely asked if it was possible to change the portion to a normal one, considering that it was for my wife and our young child, who cannot eat spicy food. The response I received was completely disrespectful and unprofessional. I was laughed at, spoken to in an inappropriate tone, and told that "this is not acceptable" and that if I wanted something else, I would have to pay again. I consider this behavior unacceptable in a place that claims to provide quality service. The staff's attitude leaves much to be desired and I recommend more attention and respect towards customers, especially in situations where it is obvious that the product was not clearly described.

Five guys is the best restaurant

The burger was one of the best I've ever had. The fries tasted strange because they were fried in peanut oil, but they were good. The drink machines are simply amazing. If the price weren't so high, I'd definitely give it 5 stars.

I tries five guys in others countries and used to like. Yesterday went in Munich and was terrible. The place was unbelievable dirty, even with an employee passing by the tables and “cleaning” the rest of food with his own hands. So we took home. Today both my friend and I are sick. Disgusting place!

It's nice to be able to create your own hamburger from the machines. The hamburgers were delicious, we got large fries with cajun spices. 4 people can eat comfortably. The portion was big but we couldn't eat it because it was too hot. We ate it in the garden but they didn't give us a tray so we didn't enjoy it much.

I cannot comment for the food as it was a sunny day ordered 1 pistachio and 1 peanut milkshake.. I wish I ordered at mc Donald’s way better taste and save some money. BECAUSE THEY DIDNT ADD PISTACHIO NEITHER PEANUTS IN MY ORDER JUST SUGAR AND COLD MILK. I was traveling and didnt have time to complain during drinking. But then had time and I turned back to say that and the person who prepares told me I shouldn’t have finished if I want new one (which I didn’t asked refill) I was already full of sugar and as I was traveling didn’t have time to turn back during walk. So rude. After manager handled well and apologized and offered for new one or water. I didn’t accept a refund as I just wanted to say this as new customers wouldn’t have that issue. My money is wasted and only drank milk with sugar overall… what a shame as I know how its supposed to taste and I love it normally :(

A very good burger with real meat and plenty of filling. The staff wasn't very friendly, but it didn't detract from the experience. Roasted peanuts to munch on while you wait, and the fries were a good size.

If you like overpriced burgers, go there; it's really nothing special. You can eat it, there's nothing more to say.
