Burgers good, fries great, prices flop

Delicious burgers that can be put together individually. Mega fries. Today also a little more than ordered. Unfortunately very expensive, but the atmosphere is rather economical.

Food was delicious and the fact that you can put it all together however you want is very interesting. Spicy fries are highly recommended and there is also an immense selection of drinks. The ambience on site is okay, especially the seating is just average and the prices are also quite high (for fast food). All in all, a good recommendation 👍 PS: Ketchup/mayo sauces can be taken unlimited on site

Burger and fries very good, hot dog more of a joke. Who came up with the sliced ​​sausage in the bun? Milkshake recommended. Service was friendly, food was ready quickly. Ambience rather non-existent.

Burger was ok, but Fries were to soft not fried enough. Claiming at the counter the took my Fries and braucht New, but same way prepared as claimed.

Gastrointestinal + herpes is available as a free topping. It's so dirty in the store. In addition, there isn't even a tablet for the food, which means you eat on dirty tables - including fries from the previous customer - and have to put your food on the dirty tables because there are basically no tablets. Hand on heart, MC's even has more hygiene to offer. Do yourself a favor and go eat at a real burger joint.

At first I had the stereotype that Five Guys was an overpriced fast food place. However, I was convinced otherwise. The burgers and fries are very good and you can choose your side dishes well. The selection of drinks is an experience with the machines. However, I think Five Guys is overpriced. 5+€ for fries is just too much. Restaurants with home-made fries in prime locations usually charge €3.5 and these are even better.

Absolutely not recommended, the tables are dirty, the whole place is dirty, ketchup and mayonnaise are constantly empty, and refilling takes a long time. It's better to go to another place.

The Cola Zero from the machine is a disaster; it just tastes like disgusting water. Otherwise, the burgers are great, but the fries are unfortunately way too expensive.

I am very disappointed with my experience at Five Guys Cologne Schanzenstrasse. We ordered and the packaging and presentation of the food was simply disastrous. The burgers came carelessly wrapped in aluminum foil, and the food was a mess, the cheese was spread everywhere, and the burgers were not prepared properly. The fries were particularly disappointing: they weren't in a proper fries packaging, just a cup. In addition, there were a lot of fries lying loose in the bag, completely unhygienic and unappetizing. The quality of the fries was also poor soggy and no taste. For the high prices you pay at Five Guys, I would have expected a lot more. That was definitely the last time I ordered there. Absolutely not recommended!

Best fast food burger you can eat. Constant quality and never too crowded. I can highly recommend it.

Friendly staff explained to us how things worked at Five Guys because we were unfamiliar with this large chain. After choosing which hamburger and what you wanted on it, you paid and you were given a drinking cup. As "frugal Dutch people", we find the American principle of "free refill" ideal. Just figure out how the machines work. In between you could nibble on peanuts fried in peanut oil, just like the delicious fries. Very nice that the name of the farmer who delivered the potatoes that day is on the plate and extra nice that they were Dutch potatoes. You may now be thinking what a bunch of chauvinistic guys, but even Harley Davidson's Santa Claus was originally Dutch. To compensate for that, we then went to listen to three German bands in the nearby Paladium hall. Next time there is a concert there, they will see us again at Five guys!

Good Five Guys store. Delicious and fresh. Staff friendly. Unfortunately it's a bit out of the way, but if you want to go to a concert you can eat delicious burgers there.

Fries were abundent but very salty. Overall nice people and OK place to eat. That free refill tho

I was often in the USA and waited years for this store to come to us in Europe. There are no more authentic burgers, this is exactly how burgers should taste. Everything else is a cheap copy...

The burger was OK (but I'm by no means satisfied - despite being freshly prepared, the burger was lukewarm). The service was - except for the cashier - more than modest. After paying almost 60€ for 3 burgers with fries and 2 drinks, there was neither a bon appetit nor a goodbye from the staff (we politely said goodbye, zero response - there were no other guests present). Short and sweet: Thank you, I won't be coming back.

I was served in a friendly and helpful manner, but was cheated when checking out. I paid by card and although I saw the green tick on the display, the service person said that the booking had not been carried out. So I had to swipe the card again. And now I'm home I see that it was debited twice. With a burger and drink for 16.90 euros, that's really too much for me for 33.80 euros because of the double booking. Since I'm in transit, I can't go back to the branch to clarify this. I hope you find a solution for this. As evidence, I not only have the booking on the account, but also the receipts that prove it. I didn't look at it in the store or while eating, I just noticed it at home. I ask for a refund of the overpaid 16.90 euros.

The food was alright good once we left, the service was friendly but unbothered by the complaints with wrongly made burgers or the smell inside, that potent smell of dirty filthy sewage inside the restaurant was so off putting that we took our food and fled the premises...

I had burgers here with two colleagues 3 days ago and all three of us really upset our stomachs afterwards! One of us still has nausea today. I definitely can't recommend this store! We were very disappointed and the prices for such a thing are a rip off.

As with every Five Guys, the food was good and tasty! The price is high but I think it's still just within the range... but the waiting time was too long. We waited over 20 minutes and it wasn't that crowded.

Unfortunately, the store has gone extremely slack. Been there again for a year and have to say.... The food is extremely overpriced, the portions are far too small for the price. The fries were totally over salted and were in the bag. The cheeseburger is sticky and not far from McDonald's taste neutrality. My friend's order was initially forgotten. The tables were all sticky, when we asked for someone to wipe the tables it was confirmed but no one ever came. The only bright spot was the milkshake, which was really very good. Overall, there is an absolute mismatch between standards (the signs in the store are a joke), taste and price. Then it's better to go to McDonald's because at least the special burgers taste good and cost less.

The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is friendly, but the prices are higher than other fast food chains. Nevertheless, the quality is impressive, making Five Guys a good choice for burger lovers.

Somehow every Five Guys is equally good. The location was generally better here than anywhere else. Shakes are delicious as always, as are the burgers. Expensive too but that's the same in every Five Guys

I've been to different branches and this is still the best for me. The food arrives warm/hot and the service is always friendly. I left my wallet behind during my last visit, it was immediately secured and I was able to pick it up without any problems.

"I don't know what a cheeseburger is, tell me what you want on it" Sorry but I don't have one In the mood for it... At some point we had something that was roughly close to a cheeseburger. The toilet smelled so much like chlorine that almost everything came up. Disgusting! Sorry, but there are also disinfectants with a citrus smell

I love the burgers and this branch! Everything always tastes 10/10, the employees are so friendly and the branch is large and clean. I recommend the Little Cheeseburger, it's perfect and doesn't have too much meat.

Extremely expensive and overhyped... nothing more. For the money paid, the food is of inferior quality, the patty is far dry and falls apart like a crumbling biscuit, not a bit of meat juice..definitely frozen goods. The toppings turn the burger into a massive mess. The fries would be the best if they weren't saltier than the Dead Sea. Obama reached into the toilet and apparently thinks the burger is so great😂😂😂

Mr. Calogero served me very well, gave me recommendations (when asked) and took very good care of my order. A very nice young man! As a guest you can only thank him, he does his job wonderfully.

I was very happy with my meal, the staff were extremely friendly and served me quickly. The price may be a little more expensive than other local restaurants, but it is worth the price. The burger was a 10/10; The fries were delicious and were put in a large quantity in the packaging and therefore an 11/10 and the drink was also good as it corresponded to the uniform sizes. A fast food restaurant that tempts with delicious burgers. They are good and better than other well-known burger restaurants. However, it is very expensive. Paid almost €50 for 2 burgers with fries and a drink. For us it was a unique experience

First time at FIVE Guys. Hamburger ok, fries not good: limp and greasy. Solid prices. Very long wait. I know a large chain that does this better.....

Outrageously expensive and it tastes worse than any frozen meal. Grilled Cheese is 2 slices of burger buns with a touch of cheese in between for €7… Thank you once and never again 🤢

Uncomfortable, dirty and long waiting times... Unfortunately the veggie sandwich was just a soggy affair... the fries were ok. But unfortunately overpriced for the small portion. I won't come back.

Very disappointed…😔 We had lunch there on April 19th, 2024 because we liked going there before (about a year ago). The burgers used to be delicious and we liked the concept. The big disappointment came on April 19, 2024. The taste of the burgers was a lot less, the fries were good, but the drinks were obviously full of fizz. It doesn't work at all! Crisis or not, the latter is fraud! We would have preferred to pay for the drinks and drink it straight. A real shame! ☹️

Yes, it is a little more expensive. But the burger also tastes much better than at other burger shops. Everything is made directly with daily fresh ingredients and you can tell that straight away. The people who give negative reviews here do so mainly because they feel like they're still hoping to get something quick to eat 30 minutes before a concert. That's really naive.

It's not worth it. Eternal waiting times, you can celebrate your next birthday in the queue. You have to pay in advance, after more than an hour in the queue I understood why, because otherwise everyone would leave.
