Never again Five Guys! We ordered from Five Guys via Uber Eats and it was an absolute nightmare! We selected two cheeseburgers, but instead of receiving burgers, only two pieces of patties arrived! We immediately called Five Guys and the person on the phone treated us rudely and even made fun of us. She claimed that we had to specially choose the bread and sauce, but there was no mention of this on the Uber Eats page! We paid a total of 13.50 euros per person for two peatys - and that for just meat, without the necessary bread and sauce. It was just a huge scam and no one pointed out to us that we had to choose everything specifically for a complete burger. The whole situation was unprofessional and very disappointing. We will never order here again. This scam is an absolute joke! Customer service was zero and the way we were treated was disrespectful. Hands off Five Guys!

We ordered cheeseburgers for lunch. When I think of a cheeseburger, I think of two buns with a pattie and a slice of cheese in between. When I ordered, they were of the opinion that if you choose the cheeseburger, you have to specify the bun as a special request. At a hefty price of €13.50 I find that a disgrace. When we called on site and politely asked why we had to select this specifically under the special request category, the lady on the phone laughed at us. Anyone who wants a pattie with cheese and also likes to be laughed at has come to the perfect address.

Big cheek!! I ordered a cheeseburger, but it only came in the form of 2 patties and cheese sauce. And to top it off, as a trainee I paid €13 for 2 burger patties and cheese. Simply ridiculous. After calling the restaurant we were also laughed at and couldn't even find our order or try to help. Never again!! My work colleagues won't do this anymore either!!

Burgers are relatively good, but very expensive. Price performance is not right for me.

You expect more, but it's a burger shop and everything is fresh and prepared for you. But other good burger shops do that too. Service can be better. You can do it but for a burger for 12 euros man expects more.

Burgers a little better than at McDonalds, but clearly too expensive for what they are. The limp fries are probably the weakest item on the menu. Unfortunately the staff was relatively listless and unfriendly.

Update II: Criticism is taken seriously by management and every effort is made to ensure customer satisfaction! I guess I was a bit unlucky with the timing of my visit after the Euro 2024 semi-finals, which was really busy. Everyone should form their own opinion and, if it was good, of course rate it well. The burger would be good if the bun wasn't so sweaty; This comes from the unnecessary aluminum foil packaging. No idea what the packaging is for if you didn't order takeaway. The fries are also soggy and almost inedible. I can't remember ever being served such bad fries anywhere. Most of them were just thrown into the paper bag. There was no mayo with it - it was empty. There were no ice cubes or drinks with sugar at the drinks machine. There were only “Zero” products left and they were not refrigerated. The whole store is full of rubbish and I don't understand why they store potato sacks in the entrance area. It's also dripping from the ventilation system - delicious... Suddenly there were no staff left in the store?! You pay a very exorbitant price for this experience. I'm not coming back. Update after the owner's reaction: I didn't complain about the quality of the ingredients - it's just a shame how they are prepared. Temperature isn't everything. The burger can travel the 10 meters to the table even without aluminum foil. It would be important that the bun doesn't get soggy. The topic of waste avoidance doesn't seem to have caught on here yet... The problem with the unrefrigerated drinks and the cleanliness in the store is not new, according to other reviews. Maybe you shouldn't just respond with standard answers, but actually do something. And there was no response at all to the ventilation system dripping into the food.

Burgers fresh, but still not hot, quick processing, great, but it's cramped in the shop, which is only on the ground floor.

We liked it, but our burgers were cold. My wife complained about this and got a new burger, which was unfortunately cold. It was very dirty in the shop.

The best burger for a stopover. 1.) You can top the burger yourself as you wish. 2.) The fries are fried in peanut oil. You can taste it! (Unfortunately only normal potato fries and no other variations) 3.) You can refill the drink at any time and with a large selection. 4.) Peanuts are also free. Prices more than okay for the freshness and juicy taste. The negative reviews seem to go more to app suppliers. Please rate them and not the business. Everything was always great for me on site. No +15 waiting time, usually only 5-10 minutes and everything is fresh. My tip: don't have it delivered, go there yourself! With external delivery services it can only be cold. Two more tips: grilled cheese with patty. A small portion of fries has enough content. I haven't tried the milkshakes yet. Good!

What a trashy, filthy store... phew.

I ordered a grilled cheese. It was more than 7€, and it was absolutely disgusting. Two random burger breads that were FULL of grease and oil and probably had gone bad. The cheese was just a piece of cheap cheddar. Overall I could have made a better tasting version of this atrocity with like 30 cents, even less.

Quick German Breakfast ;) Mandatory fries with mayonnaise sauce and quality burgers... Coca Cola products can be added to your glass after drinking the originally ordered...

In my opinion, these are simply the tastiest burgers you can get in Germany. Ambience not for everyone, but I don't care about the burgers... When I read the reviews here, a delivery service doesn't seem to be recommended. It tastes best on site anyway!

As a big Give Guys "fan" I can honestly say this is by far the worst restaurant! Everything was totally lukewarm and tasteless. The toilet and everything else was totally dirty. Preferably 0 stars. Never again!

So...what can I say? A great shop from the inside especially. Nicely American, which is rather rare in Germany. Ordering works well and is very convenient. There is a lot to choose from and the staff, although friendly, were a bit annoyed during my visit. We didn't have to wait long for our food even though it was busy. The taste is simply super delicious. Prices are a bit more expensive but that's normal these days. Worth a visit and I would love to come back ☺️

The burgers are delicious, I recommend double meat with Bacon, the potatoes are exquisite and they give a lot of potatoes, with the small glass there are too many, I didn't like the soda there because not all the flavors were available, also the sauces ran out and no one did anything . The service was very good, they were patient with my German and my English, although I already know how to order there quickly and easily. The bathrooms smell horrible, but hardly enough (just chichí). I am from Colombia, but I live in Germany.

The food was good although very expensive. We paid over 40 euros for 2 drinks, 2 cheeseburgers and 1 portion of fries. The restaurant itself looks very stale and boring.

Overpriced fast food, not more not less

The positive thing here is the fresh fries and the fact that you can get drinks for free. Large selection of drinks. The negatives are the rather expensive prices for the burgers and the ambience.

The burgers are really tasty but definitely too expensive. A hamburger for just under 10 euros is not appropriate. Especially since the ambience is no better than at McDonalds or Burger King.

Please don't go if it's busy. The fries are then not fully fried, just to make quick sales. It's definitely too expensive for that. When such prices are quoted, I expect consistently flawless products. So please check when you go

I used to really enjoy eating at Five Guys On Thursday lunchtime I ate a double chess burger with kola and fries. The burger didn't taste good at all. I've been sick since then and have an intestinal problem. I spent another €20 for one person I think that's a total shame. It used to be better

Delicious burger just the way you like it. Drinks in refills and confusing flavor variations. The fries are awesome. Both seasonings are tasty, but Cajun could be spicier. Small portion is plenty and the price is reasonable. There are 2 patties on the burger. Price is okay here too. Mayo / ketchup for free!! (unthinkable anywhere else) You can take as much as you need... Drink for €3.95 0.5 liters for refilling is unbeatably cheap. Staff super friendly and quick. Ambiance: Music is extremely too loud and the playing makes you aggressive!! As always delicious!

A restaurant just for young people.

Very quick to prepare, tasted good. Unfortunately the toilets weren't that clean.

I may not understand the concept. Somewhat better fast food for twice the price in an 80s chip shop atmosphere or something. Second time watching Five Guys and maximum disappointment. 50€ for three burgers and one fries, which were collected and served without any motivation. The burgers weren't particularly a highlight, even though they weren't cheaper than burgers from a real burger joint. From my side, the store would really like to move back to the USA.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good this time. Cold burgers, green tomatoes, small portions. This was much better in other branches! Complaints about the size were dismissed with “Then you just have to use 2 patties”. Sanitary facilities only worked 50% of the time and the cleanliness in the store was also rather poor.

Small Five Guys branch in the middle of Dortmund city center. At the time of the visit there was little visitor traffic. The hype seems to have died down. Nevertheless, the quality is still good. Very nice employee at the checkout and in service that day. Thank you again for the tip with the salted caramel sauce for the popcorn shake, it was awesome and thank you for reminding me of the bacon for my cheeseburger 😆. Everything was fresh and the petty was fried perfectly.

The better McDonalds. The burgers there are good and the drink selection from the machine is huge and the price is appropriate for endless refills. The decor is similar to a classic American diner.

Well, the burgers and fries tasted pretty good and the fact that you can refill is also nice, but overall it's very expensive and the ambience... ugh... No tablets for the tables is one thing, at least I didn't see any there. In addition, you don't get a number like in other fast food chains here and you just have to wait and hope that you hear when the citizens are finished , can become a real problem if it's a bit full! Please pay attention to the simplest convenience items in fast food otherwise the place will quickly be gone.

Well I have to say you don't even need to talk about the atmosphere there... For the price you pay, the expectations are really very high. In my opinion, way too overpriced. In addition, the burgers didn't even taste good (not even average), the fries were cold, and when you eat there, everything is carelessly put in a bag and you can sit down at the table with it. We've eaten much better burgers and fries elsewhere for less money! Once and never again!

The burgers are on the lower side in terms of taste and the price is way up there. Had a bacon cheeseburger. Even though the burger was just “finished” it was cold. The cheese wasn't melted and the meat had no flavor. You had to look for the bacon! That for €13 is pretty bold. The only good thing was the fries. These can be easily paid for at €7 for a 0.33 cup.

American minimalism. They were the best fries of my life so far. The burger was also great, juicy, well seasoned, the bun was completely dry and had a pleasant bite. Basically the staff keeps everything clean, there was no soap in the toilet and there was water everywhere - authentically American 😅 No changing table or disinfectant, hence my deductions. In terms of price, you get a fair value, especially compared to Hans im Glück. The food here is definitely better.

Excellent experience, the fries are delicious as always in every Five Guys

I've been to various Five Guys and always been satisfied. Unfortunately, I can't recommend these Five Guys at all: - It was cold in the whole store (outside temperature about 14 degrees and rain) inside similarly cold only without rain.. - the burger was completely drowned in burger sauce. It was a slaughter feast, it tasted exclusively of sauce and soggy burger buns. - the fries were so over-salted... it all really tightened up. At least the drink could be refilled, otherwise I would have died of thirst. However, there was a smell of sewage around the drinks machines. What was hardly surprising after a quick look behind the machines was that the drains are not sealed or are only glued with partially scratched adhesive tape. There's still a lot of room for improvement here. The price and performance ratio was generally right, at over €21 for a burger, fries and a drink I simply demand better quality than at McDonalds or Burger King.

The best burgers you can eat in a fast food chain. Of course the space is very modest and the price rather high. But this does not change the fact about the tastiest burger

The foods always delicious. You can't go wrong with Burgers, fries, hot dogs and shakes when they're done just right. And no other fast food chain does them better than 5 guys. It's definitely pricey, but as a rare treat, it's my go to spot.

Terrible. Simply subterranean taste with the cheapest ingredients at a price that is absolutely unjustifiable. I don't even want to talk about the visual impression of the food. The organic bins in some restaurants look more appetizing.

First time there and never again! The only good thing was the fries. We paid almost €50 for two burgers with fries and drinks, which I think is a bit too much. So a big no from me 👎

We have now been to a few Five Guys restaurants. The best so far is the one at the Westfield Center Oberhausen. Here in Dortmund the burger, fries and shakes are absolutely good. Only the cleanliness of the tables really leaves something to be desired. The toilets are okay, but nothing more. The front door has been squeaking for over a year in a way that gives you goosebumps. Otherwise everything is okay (typical in the center of Dortmund).

I tend to eat at Five Guys once a trip - I don’t have to think. I order the usual and I know what to expect. This trip was no different - the cheese burger was good and the cajun fries were well spiced. Great location. The layout is a bit weird (long and narrow) and the outside seating area was a bit disorganized. Friendly staff. Mostly clean, but I think the bathrooms were closed.
