I paid by card. The card reader and my banking app immediately showed the debit was successful. Apparently, the cashier didn't accept it. I had to pay again. The second time, the same thing happened, only it supposedly worked. I asked several times for a receipt so I could submit it to my bank, but I didn't get one. I didn't even know the order number to use for my order, since it's on there, too. As expected, both payments were debited three days later. Never again.

The employees at Five Guys in Dortmund are truly unfriendly. First of all, you can't understand the foreign employees at all, and even after repeating our order several times, we received the completely wrong menu. Secondly, the store doesn't care much about hygiene either.

Absolutely overrated. €74 for 4 burgers and 2 fries. Absolutely insane. The service barely spoke German. The drinks you can pour yourself are syrupy mush without carbonation. The burger patties are cold. Three minutes after unwrapping, the entire burger was already cold, and we ate in the restaurant. The icing on the cake, however, was that the first portion of fries was packed in a cup in a bag, and the second portion was poured loose into the bag. Never experienced anything like that before. My husband and I order from here whenever we feel like treating ourselves to some classic burgers! The burgers are so thick and juicy and grilled to perfection. The topics are completely customizable to your preference and the best part is, UNLIMITED TOPPINGS! While the burgers are a little bit pricier than most fast-food places, the quality is absolutely worth it.

The veggie offers are not recommendable at all but the normal burgers with meat were very tasty

All great but having the staff shout out the numbers for the pick up is beyond me. A led board for writing down the numbers would be a perfect benchmarking of MacDonald's that would add value and would not make either the staff or the customers feel bad. You get a good old plain paper bag containing your fries and burger. The burger is wrapped in aluminum foil. Unwrapping is brilliant; the aluminum foil prevents any of the burger from slipping and the bun gets a nice, greasy moist texture. And there's plenty of grease, typically American. The kitchen is completely manageable and you can, if you like, marvel at the birth of the burger, the marriage of patty and bun. The fries are crispy and so salty that the only way to compensate is with several liters of sugary drinks, which you can, by the way, help yourself to for free. And as small as the burger may seem, you'll be full! One small fry weighs about 400 grams, so you pay less than €20 for a culinary delight that's filling and fresh to boot. Enjoy.

Ordered with UberEats. The bag looked completely dirty upon arrival. The fries were cold and soggy, bad even for delivery fries. The fries were scattered all over the bag, except in the designated cup. The hot dog gave me Ikea vibes. It was quite tasty, but definitely too small for the price and quality. Overall, not the worst, but the value for money wasn't right.

We wanted to order via Lieferando, delivery supposedly takes 10-30 minutes. After the delivery time has been postponed several times, we will call you on site. There we were told the food was on the way. A few minutes later, the email came saying the order had been cancelled. Called again, then we were assured that the food would be remade because it was cold and then it would be delivered. After 1 hour still no delivery. Very disappointed. Of course the shop was closed then.

We got there and we were met with a disgusting unpleasant smell. The shop was empty. The smell and the prices lost our appetite. We went to Subway afterwards, it was delicious.

Never again Five Guys! We ordered from Five Guys via Uber Eats and it was an absolute nightmare! We selected two cheeseburgers, but instead of receiving burgers, only two pieces of patties arrived! We immediately called Five Guys and the person on the phone treated us rudely and even made fun of us. She claimed that we had to specially choose the bread and sauce, but there was no mention of this on the Uber Eats page! We paid a total of 13.50 euros per person for two peatys - and that for just meat, without the necessary bread and sauce. It was just a huge scam and no one pointed out to us that we had to choose everything specifically for a complete burger. The whole situation was unprofessional and very disappointing. We will never order here again. This scam is an absolute joke! Customer service was zero and the way we were treated was disrespectful. Hands off Five Guys!

It's an absolute disgrace the way this store operates. We ordered cheeseburgers today and apparently burger buns and salad are optional items that you have to order separately. When we called to find out whether that could be the case, an unfriendly and incompetent lady answered us and laughed at us for it. I ordered a grilled cheese. It was more than 7€, and it was absolutely disgusting. Two random burger breads that were FULL of grease and oil and probably had gone bad. The cheese was just a piece of cheap cheddar. Overall I could have made a better tasting version of this atrocity with like 30 cents, even less.

There is a lot to choose from and the staff, although friendly, were a bit annoyed during my visit. We didn't have to wait long for our food even though it was busy.
