My family got their food faster elsewhere. Observation of the service...rather poorly organized division of labor. They could definitely do better....

Poorly labeled plates. I ordered a pollock schnitzel and got pollock schnitzel. When I asked about it, they laughed at me. I won't be coming back. I can't recommend it.

The kibberlings were fresh, as were the rest of the ingredients. Unfortunately, I don't think everything was authentic. I think the pollock is frozen and not breaded in-house. The presentation could be better. The service was very quiet and somewhat disinterested. But the rolls were from the bakery and the ingredients were all individually and generously topped. The taste was okay. The price for frozen food would have been too high, and the drinks were too expensive. I'd say it was rock solid.

Super delicious fish sandwiches! Fresh vegetables and salad on the sandwiches, and they cater to special requests. The value for money is incredible. €3.50 for a fried fish sandwich, which isn't even what you'd pay for a sandwich at the bakery these days. Highly recommended.

I don't quite understand the other reviews. We had two fish sandwiches: one with a fish cake and one with herring. The fish cake was really small, and there should have been two on the sandwich. The herring sandwich only had one thin piece of herring, which was probably cut in half lengthwise and not completely unfolded on the sandwich. A matjes sandwich in a neighboring town on the same day proved to us that things can be much better.

There was a snail in my salad... after complaining, the snail was removed, but the lettuce wasn't replaced! Every morning I see the pollock sitting in the sun in crates next to the entrance. No thanks, it tastes better somewhere else!!!

The best fish sandwiches in Ohio, especially with authentic bakery rolls! Hats off. Unfortunately, you can't find those anymore. Everyone else uses cheap pre-baked rolls that taste like cardboard.

Not really recommended. The crispy fish was so crispy that you couldn't really taste the fish. Our fries were hard and the salad wasn't dressed properly. The plates were overfilled. The only good thing about the meal was my herring. 🙂 Hence only 2 stars.

I completely agree with all the other reviewers. Both the sandwiches and the platters are great. All the dishes are freshly prepared. Perhaps a bit too greasy on the fried potatoes, but that's a matter of taste. Overall, thumbs up 👍 and a clear recommendation.

Ordering two white wines just before closing time, the friendly staff, and the lovingly delivered food to our table outside, gave us a wonderful holiday feeling. The fish sandwiches (matjes) we've had recently were also great.

The best shop on the promenade in Dahme. Whether it's a fish roll or a plate of fried potatoes or fries, it's always delicious. I come to Dahme often and am always impressed. The prices are also reasonable for the quality and freshness.

From the outside, it looks like any other...but the food is absolutely amazing...I'm a total fish fan...and I have to say I've rarely eaten so well...not even at Gosch on Sylt...I would come back to eat here again and again... An absolute insider tip on the Baltic Sea! The Fisch Huus in Dahme impresses with fresh fish, lovingly prepared dishes and a pleasant, maritime atmosphere. The herring rolls and the fish soup are particularly recommended – simply delicious! The staff is friendly and attentive, and waiting times were pleasantly short, even in high season. If you are in Dahme, you should definitely stop by here. Clear recommendation!

We are repeat offenders. Last year we discovered the Fischhuus while taking a walk. It is further away from our accommodation than the "fish stall" at the beginning of the promenade that everyone praised so much. At the Fischhuus the waitresses are always nice and friendly and the fish rolls are always freshly prepared with fresh ingredients. We would like to come back next year. Thank you very much

I haven't eaten so well in some "fancy restaurants" and certainly not at this price. Extra requests are easily accepted and implemented. Even with a protected outdoor area in winter. If you want fish, then definitely go to the Fischhuus in Dahme!!!

Great freshly prepared fish sandwiches on the Dahme promenade. My brother Christian recommended the location to me. I ate matjes and fried fish rolls there several times this week. Now I have a new reference for fish rolls and I will probably never be able to eat one at Nordsee again without thinking back to these perfect, freshly made and lovingly topped rolls. Great staff who don't let themselves be disturbed by a queue.
