Restaurant Moinsen´s by Enjoy in Dahme

We had the best meal of our vacation here! We were here on a Friday lunchtime and ordered directly at the snack bar. We had two currywursts, fried fish in a mussel roll, and a herring roll. The food was ready after a short wait and tasted great – exactly the kind of fresh food you'd expect on the Baltic Sea and exactly how I remembered the food from my childhood Baltic Sea vacations. We spent a total of one week on the Baltic Sea and ate in Dahme, Kellenhusen, and Grömitz (some of it was really disgusting – we were quite disappointed). I would only recommend Moinsen's. If we come here in the future, we'll only eat here!

Delicious food with a great view

We were completely satisfied. The view is, of course, outstanding, with a view of the Baltic Sea and the pier. The staff was very friendly, and the food—we had the chili cheese and the hickory chicken burger—was delicious. We left full and satisfied. 🙂

The food is super delicious. We ate there for the first time with our kids, and we were absolutely thrilled. We each ordered two schnitzels, and the kids had the Scobby Doo burger with fries. The service was polite and very friendly, and very child-friendly too. We'd love to come back.

The service was not only super attentive, but also really cheerful – and our special requests were fulfilled as naturally as if they had always been on the menu. The food? Simply fantastic! Fresh, lovingly prepared, and a real hit in terms of taste. And all at prices that won't leave you wondering whether you should have done the dishes afterward. In short: If you don't leave happy, you probably picked the wrong table. We'll definitely be back!

We ate at Moinsen's yesterday, and we were all thrilled. The food was amazing! The restaurant is upstairs and has a beautiful view of the sea. They even allow dogs. The best burger in all of Dahme! We'll be coming more often from now on.

We already know Moinsen's from previous vacations and always enjoy coming back. This time we even went there two evenings in a row – the food is so good! One of us chose the fresh salad, another the irresistible sweet potato fries – the sensible ones... at least until the ribs arrived. They're amazing! Our husbands opted for burgers and the rib combo platters – so delicious that we had them again the second evening. One of us tried the fish soup, which was also excellent. The service? Super warm, attentive, and with a lot of humor – just what you want on vacation. Thanks for two great evenings – we'll definitely be back and will be really hungry! P.S. We had to laugh at a review that criticized the lack of a Baltic Sea view in the evening. Spoiler alert: Of course there is – but only during the day 😉 If you look at the sea in the dark, you'll miss the most important thing: the food!

We had a fantastic last evening of our Dahme vacation. A fantastic view of the pier and a truly delicious meal. All the kids and adults loved it. Whether it was schnitzel, burgers, or currywurst, the fries were also really good. We'd love to come back and are already looking forward to it!

Highly recommended. Everything was perfect for us. The staff was friendly, the portions were generous, and every dish we tried was delicious.

When trying it on site, it becomes clear once again that the photos and many reviews are simply worthless. Not good value for money. The schnitzel was carelessly prepared, bland, practically unseasoned, and at 200g including breading, it was significantly overpriced. The maximum amount of fish, 150g, was far too small for €23. They're cutting corners. The fries were soft and brown. The fat was either old or they were frying other things in it. Something needs to change immediately. Very empty at dinner. Service was really good.

I visit Dahme several times a year, and a visit to Moinsen's is a must at least once. Eating currywurst in Dahme like a Berliner is saying something, and I love it. The prices are moderate to inexpensive in comparison. The view of the Baltic Sea from the first floor is priceless. If you're vacationing nearby, give it a try.

The burger was lukewarm and unseasoned, the ribs had silver skin, you could eat more, but that's all. When asked, it was organic, so it was unseasoned. For the price, this tiny portion is pretty cheeky. Every little thing costs extra. The beer was also too warm. The waitress and kitchen staff were uncooperative. I'd rather go for a kebab next time...!

The service was good, as was the starter, but when the main course arrived, we were really disappointed. I had the Hickory Burger; the chicken was tasteless and bland and tasted of nothing, with far too little seasoning. My husband had the Rustikal Schnitzel, but that was also bland, and the meat was very mushy. So, we won't recommend it, and we won't eat there again.

We were warmly welcomed and shown to a table. We made a reservation two hours in advance, and everything was great. Dogs are also welcome, so a big plus. The ambiance also has a rustic yet classic feel. The quality of the food was truly outstanding. We didn't have to wait long either. The view of the sea is phenomenal. The server was friendly and asked if everything was okay and if we were satisfied. I don't think that's a given anymore. So I definitely recommend it.

Today was our first time at Küstenschmaus by Moinsen's. There's a delicious buffet there from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Everything was available, from pollock to schnitzel, fried fish and spare ribs to salads, side dishes, and much more. The food was delicious, and the service was also excellent. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much.

I decided to eat there on a whim on Friday evening. It was still light, the staff was very friendly, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced - something you don't often find. I highly recommend it. I've visited many other restaurants on the Baltic Sea, but this one is always worth a visit.

Service and ambience are really good But the price for the burgers with fries for €20 is not justified! Meat patty totally dry and without taste! Also falls apart when eating! Hardly any sauce on the burgers, as well as topped with a simple slice of sandwich cheese?! Fries were good, but then another 50 cents on top for mayo. It's a shame, because the service and the ambience are really good.

Nice place, but the fish and tomato soup shouldn’t be served anywhere

Fish plate €28.90. OK. But then it should rather say: 3 small, flat fish fillets with a touch of mustard sauce on a nest of fried potatoes. I can get used to the prices in restaurants; don't think about the ever-shrinking portions. And when the (chilli cheese) burger with fries costs 20, - I find the 0.50 € surcharge for the small mayonnaise bowl almost indecent. It tasted good (except that the fries were a bit off), but the stove at home becomes more interesting again...

A recommended destination on the beach promenade in Dahme, even in the cold season. Here you can warm up wonderfully after a walk along the Baltic Sea, sit in a great atmosphere with a clear view of the sea (we could even see Fehmarn when the weather was good) and let your palate be pampered. The service is friendly and takes time for the guests. Absolute recommendation!

How nice that this shop was open when almost no one else was open this weekend. And they were just open the first day after the holiday. What luck. We were extremely satisfied with our coffee/tea and our desserts and the best thing was the friendliness of the lady who served us (boss?).

A nice restaurant on the 1st floor with a great view of the Baltic Sea. The service “is original” and the nice and attentive lady, although she is approaching retirement, is highly motivated, experienced, friendly and fast. The personal chat with her was honest and humane on an equal footing with genuine hospitality. The food (New York salad) and the bacon burger were okay and the price was adequate for the location of the restaurant. I can recommend the location with a clear conscience and wish the team there a nice holiday! Thank you very much

The high rating for this establishment can only be explained by undemanding swarm intelligence or by a recent change in the kitchen staff. I deliberately don't write about "chef" because a trained chef works completely differently. The pan fish came with a 2cm high layer of undefined and extremely unpleasant tasting industrial sauce under which no fish could be found. The fried potatoes tasted burnt. The baby spare ribs were dry and didn't seem dewy. The large salad consisted of lots of iceberg lettuce, some red peppers, a few carrot slices and tomato sections, the whole thing drowned in "yoghurt sauce", French dressing was ordered, which wouldn't have saved the matter. Only the fries and the pilsner were acceptable. We were hoping for a view of the sea from the first floor, but that didn't come into its own at all in the dark. The ambience in the restaurant could do with a refresh.

I would have to think carefully about going again. The ambience and location is really pleasant and with the view of the sea it is super beautiful. However, I was shocked at what the menu offered. Everything is calculated individually. The burger alone was 15€ + 3-5€ fries AND 0.5€ for sauces. Aside from the fact that it might be more attractive to charge a higher price including everything, it's silly to even offer so much for a rather small plate of medium taste. So as I said, the taste isn't great but it's still delicious. It's worth it for the taste, but some of us left hungry. Fish dishes are offered for more money while eating less. It's understandable that it's on the promenade and the rent may be high. However, you should also adapt the exterior and ambience to the desired clientele. The service was really very nice. But at some point it becomes annoying when you are asked 2-3 times within 10 minutes if you need anything else.

We were on vacation a week ago and spontaneously walked over to Dahme and wanted to go out for something to eat there. It was late and there were 9 of us with 5 children and an infant. The restaurant was actually full and guests with dogs were sent away before us because unfortunately there were already too many with other dogs. So we had little to no hope. Suddenly an experienced waitress came up to us and asked us how many we were and was initially perplexed by the number. Your statement, well, we find something there, you couldn't send an infant and so many children away again. The first sympathy was there. She was very worried and emotional towards us the whole evening and patiently tried to make everything possible. For that, a big THANK YOU to the good woman #GrüßeGehenRaus The food was delicious, we ate our way through the menu. In terms of price, the food was good, the drinks were a bit expensive, but I thought it was worth it in the end! So all in all, absolutely recommended and worth a visit! Sorry that we're only evaluating now, but unfortunately we had too much on our plate - to the good woman 😍🤍

We were here for the first time today and were very satisfied. The food was very tasty. Half of the baby back ribs would have been enough for me😉, my husband had beef short ribs and he was thrilled. Reservations make sense.

We were there on Wednesday for the AYCE with the spareribbs and on Saturday we enjoyed the schnitzel. Two very successful evenings with good food and a fair price! We would come more often if the vacation wasn't over.

Very nice and inviting establishment in a great location right on the promenade, Jannis is an incredibly charismatic and capable bartender, praise to the chef for the very tasty and inexpensive food, the fried salmon fillet is highly recommended.

Since I give everyone a second chace, I went there again today and it was worth it, my chili cheese burger with sweet potatoes didn't disappoint me this time. We went to Moinsen's twice on our second holiday in Dahme. The best thing is, dogs are welcome and there is even a small dog bar for them. A place is chosen where it is easy to sit with the dog. The staff is more than friendly. Super relaxed and sweet. Everyone ensures an absolute feeling of well-being with their friendly nature. The restaurant, which is located on the 1st floor, has a great view of the sea and the pier. But not only the view, but also the furnishings and presentation are great. The café on the ground floor also impresses with its places in the fresh air. Last but not least: the food. Simply super delicious. On Wednesdays we serve ribs, which are super tasty and tender. But the rest of the menu is also great and diverse. Everyone is sure to find something to their taste here. I particularly like the note in the menu: “Tüddelkram is dispensed with.” This refers to the mostly unnecessary salad side dishes, which in most cases are thrown away anyway. A visit to Moinsen's is definitely worth it and not just on Rib Wednesday :)

The bacon cheese burger wasn't worth the money. I had to look for a slice of tomato, a slice of tasteless cheese, a narrow slice of bacon and the burger sauce, citizen's meat was dry and tasteless. There are far better burgers out there

Referring to your comment: We very much understand that a lot has been going wrong in the catering industry since Corona. We also know that this is due to the lack of staff. We sat in the blazing sun and would have liked to have been asked about drinks after 30 minutes. And yes, we are aware of the implications. However, it's time for people to open their mouths, especially in tourist hotspots. She wasn't interested in the fact that we didn't have anything to drink on the table after 30 minutes given yesterday's temperatures. Other guests, who noticed that they arrived after us, already had their food on the table at this point. And the waiter looked at us in the corner about five times in that half hour. We also noticed that another table was complaining about the duration of the drinks. It would then be advisable to reduce the number of tables so that a single waiter can do everything. Sometimes the big profit just has to take a back seat. It's a shame that you even have to give one star to be able to rate it. Actually, this restaurant deserves zero stars. I have reserved a table for today at 7:00 p.m. We were on time too. Two tables came after us and were served before us. It can happen! But after 30 minutes the waiter still ignored us with an arrogance that we got up and left. I chose based on the internet reviews and thought: 4.7 out of 5 stars, nothing can go wrong. It's a shame that we were taught otherwise. But what can you say, it's like in other restaurants on the promenade: the individual guest counts for nothing anymore. People still go.

Very friendly team, the young lady was very attentive and the food tasted wonderful. Although one or two (individual ingredients) were no longer in stock, a suitable replacement was offered straight away. With a table right by the window we could enjoy our dinner with the best view. Our two dogs (medium-sized) would also be welcome.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant with a fantastic view as the restaurant is on the first floor. Staff courteous and attentive without being intrusive. All the dishes we have eaten here so far have been extremely tasty, beautifully presented and have left us completely satisfied. If you have an extra request or have something specially prepared, this will of course be implemented. Price-wise, it's perfectly reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food. The food is great, upstairs in the restaurant there is a beautiful view of the Baltic Sea coast and there is an attractive ambience inside. Down in the bar, Janis has the place under control. Orders come quickly and he also keeps an eye on supplies.

Only a staircase separates you from the beautiful view of the beach and the Baltic Sea. Very modern furnishings and the atmosphere fits. You will be greeted with “Welcome!” Greeted and very well informed and catered for. The service is highly recommended and we didn't have to wait long for the food. I also recommend trying a fruit schnapps. It's worth it. The ribs are to die for!

The hickory sauce gave the chicken a wonderful smoky note that harmonized perfectly with the fresh ingredients. Simply irresistible! **Backribs:** The backribs were to die for! Tender, juicy and with a delicious marinade that had just the right balance of sweetness and spice. They literally fell off the bone and were an absolute delight. **Children's Cheeseburger:** Our child loved his cheeseburger. The portion was just right, and the burger itself was fresh and tasty. A real hit with the little ones! The takeaway service was also excellent. Our order was ready on time and carefully packaged so that everything arrived warm and fresh. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. We can highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely order here again. We loved visiting this restaurant in Germany, it was recommended to us by family members. Dinner coincided with a local festival of lights and fireworks, and with such great sea views, it was very nice to see the sea and the fireworks from our table. The food was excellent. We ordered a chili burger with exquisite local beef, cod, and curry soup with potatoes. For our son, some dinosaur-shaped nuggets that he loved. The ingredients are of high quality and the service was impeccable. Without a doubt, we will return.
