We've been to the Delphin Restaurant twice now and are very satisfied overall. The lamb and fish dishes, in particular, are very well prepared. The owners have excellent service and are very friendly hosts. We'd be happy to return.

A delicious and varied selection of Mediterranean dishes, from fish to steak, lovingly prepared. The service is very friendly and attentive, almost a family atmosphere. We feel very comfortable and are always happy to come back.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. When you came in, you had to pass the counter, and the glasses hanging there all looked very dirty (fly droppings). At our table, we were constantly visited by fruit flies. The appetizer salad was very dry. Regarding the service: The employee served us in a tracksuit jacket and laughed at the tip, not even accepting it. We won't be coming back here.

The staff is very friendly, and even requests for changes to the dishes are accommodated (where possible). The ambiance is very reminiscent of a Greek restaurant. Some of the pictures on the walls confirm this. We had various fish dishes. These were OK, if a bit bland. The octopus salad that started it tasted like it came from a can. The prices for the dishes were reasonable and not overpriced.

Food: Delicious starter salad. Large, flavorful portions! Tender lamb! The rump steak could have been a bit more tender. Still, all in all, a great meal! Service: Friendly & pleasant Atmosphere: Quiet, pleasant background music. A nice seating area outside. Nice and tidy inside.

We were looking forward to a delicious dinner on our first evening in Dahme. The Holstein schnitzel was good and tasty. However, the plaice fillets were very disappointing. They were swimming in fat with sloppy skin, and the fried potatoes were unfortunately also very greasy. At least the grilled vegetables on the plate were good. A real shame, and in our opinion, not necessarily recommended.

We ordered chicken, fries, salad, and lamb here via Lieferando, and it was so delicious and the portions were a great size. From the kids to mom and dad, everyone loved it, and the delivery was done by such a nice lady who deserved a tip for her smile. We can highly recommend this place. 😍👍🏻

The staff was nice, there was a small mistake in the order, but they admitted the mistake and were helpful in resolving it. The food was delicious, fresh fish and calamari. My sons had fried calamari, they raved about it. Payment possible by card or cash. I recommend making a reservation, although we didn't have one and there were a few places available. Payment: I was a bit unpleasantly surprised here, because no one took away the food we had finished and after a long wait, we went to the entrance to pay by ourselves.

A place to feel good! I absolutely love eating at DELFIN – the food is always fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared. You can simply taste the quality and heart that goes into the dishes here. The team is not only friendly, but almost like family – you immediately feel like you're in good hands. For me, it's a true favorite restaurant with a homey feel. 🌊🍽️

It was definitely worth taking the extra steps from the beach and the promenade. The food is delicious, and the staff is truly friendly. We went there four times during our vacation and were impressed by the quality of every dish. We sat on the terrace each time and truly enjoyed our time there. The price/performance ratio is also impressive compared to the promenade.

Several of us stopped by for lunch. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it was very dirty and grimy under the tables. The lunch portions were truly minimal; even the children's portions were larger. It's a shame, but there's definitely room for improvement.

We were at the Delphin this week and ate plaice. It was perfectly fried, still translucent on the inside. They know how to prepare fish here. However, you could count the crabs on one hand. The fried potatoes were interestingly seasoned. However, they could use some renovations, and the waitresses had dirty fingernails. The music wasn't our style either. We would still recommend it, though.

The restaurant is located away from the waterfront promenade, so prices are probably a bit lower. Very friendly service. We had plaice, which unfortunately didn't impress us in terms of taste.

I got a nice table without a reservation and had a wonderful dinner. Excellent service. I had the pan-fried fish, which was delicious.

Sensational and super delicious again this year

My meal, the grilled platter, was served without fries. The grilled sea bream looked like it had been grilled from frozen; it was watery and not grilled through... the herb filling was missing.

We ordered four main courses and a starter for delivery for over €80. One positive aspect was that the food arrived hot and promptly. Unfortunately, that was the only bright spot. All of the dishes were extremely oily – whether fried or boiled, it seemed as if oil was the main ingredient. The taste of the food was, of course, very disappointing and didn't impress us in any way. To make matters worse, a side dish we ordered was completely forgotten. For that price, we expected much more. It's a real shame – this wasn't a satisfactory experience for us.

My husband just got food there. He had a fish platter with fried potatoes, and I wanted a Jöger schnitzel with fried potatoes. They served me something in curry sauce and fries. Completely wrong. And the best part: it wasn't busy enough to say they were mixed up in the crowd.

Today we ate at the Delphin for our 30th pearl wedding anniversary. It was delicious, plentiful, friendly, and absolutely reasonable in price – we highly recommend the restaurant and would love to come back! 🤤🤗

The food was ready in 2 minutes after ordering, very unusual, the salad didn't taste fresh and the schnitzel I ordered was unreasonable in terms of taste, very expensive and inedible, a shame. I'd rather wait longer and have something sensible.

We were four people. Ordered 2 × Jägerschnitzel (schnitzel with champion sauce) 1× plaice Finkenwerder style 1× Matjes herring according to the house style The food arrived and was a disaster inedible The meat was a minute steak very dry, the champion sauce was a light vegetable sauce with mushrooms and a strange taste, The remoulade for the herring was supposedly homemade and full of oil and tasted accordingly, the herring was ok but there were way too many onions (well you don't necessarily have to eat them), The plaice, supposedly fresh, was still raw and frozen and had an old, musty taste. The fried potatoes were swimming in oil. Only the salad and the fries were good. We wanted to spend our last holiday evening with friends over a good meal and we were all served, but the food was completely gone. The cellar only charged us for the drinks, which we thought was good, but they definitely won't see us again.

From the ambience to the food to the service, it's top! A really good and recommended address for every fish and steak lover who visits Dahme. Update 04/2025: Still a top address in Dahme - very good food in terms of quality and taste at absolutely fair prices - everyone goes there!

We were in this restaurant for the first time and had salmon on spinach with vegetables and fries from the lunch menu, with a small salad. Everything was very tasty. Value for money for the lunch dishes. The service didn't really get going, but overall we were satisfied.

We spontaneously ordered something to eat here today... The waiting time was communicated when we ordered over the phone and was adhered to. Very friendly and nice contact. The cheeseburgers were very tasty and we didn't even know the fries in this form... but we also enjoyed them very much. On our next visit to Dahme, we would be happy to stop by for a meal.

There wasn't a table for us quickly We made reservations in a full house, ate a delicious meal and had tiramisu on the house for dessert. It's all ok.

Nicely decorated restaurant with friendly service. Plenty of portions with slight weaknesses when eating. Unfortunately, the salmon fillet was not cooked through and the vegetables were unfortunately too firm to the bite. Surf & Turf was good. Unfortunately, sometimes you don't have the courage to add spice and a little less fat/oil would be advisable. All in all, recommended. Service was really nice.

Sad about the food. We ordered 4 dishes for over 70 euros. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for delivery and then got such a big disappointment. Our Jägerschnitzel was full of water and zero taste. The pasta dishes were not cooked. Everything ice cold and absolutely inedible. Price performance absolutely bad. Please rethink the way you work.

Dear readers of this review, This is my first review on Google, as I usually ignore minor quality issues. But this restaurant now forces me to share my experiences here. We paid around €70 for 4 people and were looking forward to the food (schnitzel and noodles). What was delivered to us after 1 1/2 hours was disappointing across the board. The schnitzel was tasteless and tough. The sauce defined itself as “mushroom-containing water.” Dear owners. Calling such prices for the quality of food is a violation of Section 376 of the German Commercial Code (HGB). Talk to your chef - there is still room for improvement.

We always love going to the Delphin! Incredibly nice, courteous service, very cozy atmosphere, and the food is always great! The Delphin is not only open in season, but all year round. Super friendly restaurant where everything is just right. Gladly again at any time! 🥰

Went here on the last evening of our vacation and it was delicious.

We had the food delivered today. We know that the food delivered is a little different than on site. But a cheeseburger where the meatball is completely small compared to the size of the burger, slightly charred and without any real taste is not possible. Jägerschnitzel: The sauce is very oily and hardly any taste. Breading of the schnitzel totally soggy. It is clear to us that we will no longer order there.

Went here on a blue moon, very nice service and super delicious food. We had king prawns plate and prawn salad, highly recommended. Will be happy to come back.

Went here for the first time today and had a fish platter for two. Very tasty and absolutely enough for two people. The homemade dips were also delicious! Of course, fried potatoes are almost mandatory. The service was very friendly and attentive but not intrusive! At the end we were treated to a homemade tiramisu as a greeting from the kitchen. Simply great. Any time! Absolutely recommended!

The octopus salad starter consisted of very little octopus and a lot of cucumber, which called the price-performance ratio into question.

Nice location, not on the beach but nice to eat and enjoy... our top address on vacation and when I'm in the area for work, I try to set it up... my favorite "definitely calamari". Definitely try it, something completely different than expected... and the boss's baklava for dessert... I'm already looking forward to tomorrow evening!!

Went there for the first time today and sat comfortably on the terrace. It was actually supposed to be fish, but then I got a very tasty chicken dish (small mix-up). The service was very nice 👍🏻. We went home with a full stomach, in a great mood and excited throughout. Thank you.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because the service was so bad that we left. We stood for a long time and had to wait until someone welcomed us. We wanted to sit outside. Since there were six of us, tables had to be put together. Different tables were put together so that we had different table heights and couldn't really sit together well. The tables were wet from the rain, as were the chairs. We first had to ask if everything could be dried. The “waiter” (young man with headphones in his ear) simply put the chair cushions and placemats in the wet. When we asked to dry everything, he said that he could only get a rag and that it wouldn't help. He then got a wet rag and wiped everything around the place mats and didn't lift them up. We felt so badly received and treated unkindly that we left.

Very tasty there. Service very nice. Come eat there again on your next vacation.

We wanted to eat at this restaurant today. Were there at 8:12 p.m. We were assigned a table. After that there was no longer any talk of service. After waiting for 20 minutes at a table that had not been cleared and cleaned, with a view of the neighboring tables that had also not been cleared, it was too uncomfortable and unappetizing for us to wait any longer. We left the restaurant and went one house further, where we had delicious pizza. Addendum to the restaurant manager's answer: 1. We didn't see the specified board with the information. Probably wasn't noticeable enough. 2. We would have been happy to accept that we had to wait a bit if they had kindly pointed this out to us when assigning the table. It could have been that we missed the announcement on the board (that was the case). 3. What bothered us the most was that we sat at a table that hadn't been cleared or cleaned and the tables to the right and left of us also looked like that. That really spoils your appetite. 4. Thank you for inviting me to come by again. Unfortunately, this evening was our last in Dahme. We wanted to "celebrate our farewell" in the restaurant. It should be something special. A pity.

We have been regular guests there for many years... what can we say, everything is ALWAYS in perfect order, the food is a dream, the service (we always reserve table 9 at 7 p.m.) is always perfect, even when the restaurant is fully booked is. The employees are very attentive and always nice and polite. We will remain regulars!

A wonderful evening with perfect service and food! We were greeted in an incredibly courteous and friendly manner and sat nicely on the terrace. We had the grilled sea bream, surf and turf and the children's cheeseburger. The food was super fresh and delicious! The sauces are homemade and nothing out of the bag! The children's burger was huge for €8.50! Only the bread with the sea bream could have been toasted. Each guest receives a small tiramisu for dessert. I didn't know that and asked for dessert because of my husband's birthday. We were then given a huge portion of tiramisu that would certainly have been enough for 8 people. More than a surprise! :) We give 5/5 stars and will come back next year!

The restaurant is not located on the water, but it has a cozy atmosphere. We were served very friendly here and waited about 20 minutes for our food. The portion was very generous, but easy to manage. The fish was of great quality and perfectly prepared, and the fried potatoes were also delicious. After the table was cleared, we were given a dessert without prior notice, which was also very tasty. So we reserved the next table straight away. Definitely worth a visit!
