I got two fish sandwiches here. The halibut sandwich was fantastic. The herring sandwich was just ordinary. The outdoor area was inviting. The atmosphere was great. Since I only visited the fish shop, I can't comment on the restaurant's interior.

If you can't maintain a website, you could at least provide information about company holidays here.

A beautiful spot by the water. Well-prepared fish... Attentive staff; my companion accidentally knocked over a glass of Coke. They responded immediately...the waiter helped dry it and immediately brought out a new glass of Coke. That's what good service looks like. Regards, Reinhold

A totally relaxed, clean, and well-maintained beer garden with a lake view. There's also an indoor seating area. Very friendly staff. A few parking spaces right in front of the restaurant, and ticketed public parking is nearby. And the icing on the cake: the food was amazing—definitely recommended.

Love this place. I want it to last at least until the end of my life. I discovered it today, found the atmosphere relaxed and friendly, and ate wonderful pike dumplings in dill sauce. I'd love to eat the exact same meal again tomorrow. I've now declared myself a Fischerstube Ultra.

We ate a delicious fish dish right by the lake—it couldn't be better. Afterwards, we picked up some smoked fish from the store to take home.

We had pike-perch fillet with fried potatoes. If you look at the price history on the menu photos on Google Maps, you can see a price increase from €16.80 in 2021 to €25.70 today in 2025. That's a whopping 53% price increase. When you then hear that the VAT reduction won't be passed on to customers, it's no wonder customers are staying away.

Everything is very opaque. Parking, self-service or not. Coffee and cake, no idea. Then others do the business. Unfortunately, television and reality are very different.

Yes nice location and food was good

The food was okay, but nothing special. It tasted like a regular cafeteria meal. A bit too expensive for the price. The staff mostly seemed annoyed and disinterested. However, they did their job quickly. The location is quite nice, especially outside with its view of Lake Ratzeburg. The interior is nicely decorated, except for a large spider that had made its nest above one of the lamps.

Really great, very friendly staff and unbeatable food and drink right on the water 👍 we will definitely be back next holiday.

I wasn't in the parlor, but in the adjacent snack bar, and the potato salad with fried fish was excellent. A great place to sit and look out at the lake. The price was also perfectly reasonable.

Not this fish stall. Smoked fish is too dry and too expensive. I'd rather stay in Schilksee and get a delicious herring sandwich for €4.50.

The fisherman of Ratzeburg. With two fishing boats, a shop, and the Fischerstube restaurant. But beware: It usually closes around 6 or 7 p.m. Except on Mondays, of course, when it's closed!

Was at your place today and got myself a fish sandwich with smoked salmon slices. Apart from a small leaf of lettuce and a very hard slice of salmon, there was no onion, horseradish or dill mustard sauce on it for 5€. I will definitely not visit your restaurant again.

Very nice location right on the lake. The benches are a bit uncomfortable, but okay. The fish was fresh and very tasty. It took quite a while to arrive, but it was definitely worth it.

A roll with fish cake (bread frikadelle) costs 3 euros. If you're asked for remoulade and say yes, you'll have to add 2 euros for the remoulade. There's plenty of room for improvement in terms of taste.

We had the zander fillet and the herring fillet. A few days earlier, we had a smoked salmon sandwich. Everything was very, very delicious.

We ordered fried fish and a couple of fish sandwiches at the fast-food counter. The sandwiches were okay, the fried fish was mediocre, and the fish cake was inedible. The staff were very unpleasant.

You can't get any better than this for enjoying fresh fish: a relaxed atmosphere, a great ambiance, and the food is a real treat. We had the perch fillet with parsley potatoes and chanterelle mushrooms in a cream sauce; two thumbs up.

Simply fantastic all around. We had three whole whitefish (depending on the catch) and a zander fillet. Each came with fried potatoes and cucumber salad, and the fillets were served with a creamy dill sauce. It was simply fresh and utterly delicious! The waitress (according to the receipt, "Nicole 2," an older lady) was also super nice, accommodating, and had a relaxed and fun manner! Special praise to you!!👍🏽😊 In terms of ambiance, you sit (if there are enough outdoor seats) right on Lake Ratzeburg with a view of the cathedral! All in all, simply top, top, top!!

It's always been a consistently excellent fish restaurant. My husband also loves the currywurst, and I've never been disappointed by the food. Great location on the lake One star deducted for the service, because it should be faster for a 5-star rating, but if you're not in a hurry, that's no real reason to complain.

It's simply a fantastic place for fish. I've been there several times and the fish has always been first-class. If the rolls were freshly baked, you'd get 5 stars plus! Unfortunately, the roll costs you one star. Please check out the fish rolls in Langballigau; then you'll know what I mean! I bought fresh perch on recommendation. It doesn't get any better or greten-free. It's super fresh produce from the lake, which you simply can't get from regular fishmongers. Bravo. Overall, a completely honest 5 stars, but do something with the rolls. You'll feel the success!

A very nice restaurant right on Lake Ratzeburg. The terrace is inviting and offers a wonderful view of the lake. Service is super fast and friendly. If you're short on time, you should at least get a fish sandwich and enjoy it with a view of Lake Ratzeburg.

Once again, we treated ourselves to two delicious fish sandwiches. Delicious, fresh, and nice with onions, herring, and Bismarck herring. This won't be the last time we'll go there this year, even if it's over 40 km away.

The fried fish roll is a joke for 5€. Completely without garnish and a thimble of remoulade. Nothing special in taste. The boss has to make an improvement because others can do it much better.

On May 1st visited at lunchtime. Motorcycle meeting place, outdoor area very busy, hardly any guests in the premises, therefore quiet and pleasant. Despite the hectic pace, the staff were very calm and accommodating. The fish dish was pretty decent apart from the limp fried potatoes. Price/performance okay.
