Located right at the fishing port, very rustic in a tent. We had the fish platter for 2 people (it was very tasty). Thank you for the friendly hospitality, we would be happy to come back.

Nice people, very tasty food, served quickly, hot and without any frills. Points are deducted for the salad dressing from the bottle (even if it was tasty) and the toilet. Rustic is ok, but it should still be clean.

Food and service are ok. Prices still ok. Simple and practical. Still coming back.

You can't tell from the restaurant (hence the ambience only 3 stars) but it is the best fish restaurant in Travemünde. The fish is always fresh, the portions are very generous, the staff is always friendly and very quick. The prices are very moderate in contrast to my home (near Potsdam) and even in Travemünde. We are often in Travemünde and a visit here is a must for us.

Fast service, just do their job, but that's about it. The food came quite quickly and was therefore warm. Unfortunately, the food is generally never beautifully and carefully prepared by the water in Travemünde. The eye just doesn't eat here. The price is almost the same as everywhere else, since everyone calculates the same additional costs with Smiley. It's a shame that everything here is designed to attract tourists.

Very well located restaurant right on the harbor, fresh fish, quite generous portions. Staff could be friendlier and unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food even though there wasn't much going on.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve one star. I don't understand how you can do something like that to guests. Rancid, stale oil. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. I hope I don't get diarrhea. Disgusting.

Great fish sandwiches and a great view while eating. Service is very attentive and pretty quick. We decided to have dinner here. Prices are very fair, especially the children's dishes. Fries taste good, fish fingers are really fishy.

Had dinner there yesterday, the plaice was very tasty, as was the potato salad. Would eat there again at any time.

Unfortunately, you can eat delicious fish here. The staff are very attentive and friendly, our pollock fillet and plaice fillet were very tasty and the portion was generous. The view of the water in the harbor is pleasant. We'd love to come back.

Rather mediocre fish snack bar with seating. Fairly friendly staff, prices OK, quality is OK too. Sanitary facilities across the yard and underneath everything! It doesn't work that way! Washing your hands is disgusting.

The food is great, located right on the harbor, nice view of the marina and boats passing by, simple inventory, only the price increase of 75% within a few years keeps me from visiting more often.

We always have a beer there. It's not a hustle and bustle, it's quite nice here. We are repeat offenders.

The food is good. Prices like everywhere else. But you shouldn't expect too much.

We were on vacation with 2 adults and 2 children to eat in the fish galley. We were greeted very friendly and served quickly. The food was really very good, even the children ate up ☺️👍 Price-performance ratio is really okay 😉 However, the ambience could be improved a bit and the toilet could be made more accessible. Otherwise, gladly again 😊

From the outside it may not be for everyone but that is deceptive. Food rich and very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing that is a bit difficult is the toilet issue.

A great restaurant with a view of the harbor. You sit protected under umbrellas and can enjoy the atmosphere. There is a large selection of fish. Everyone will find something here. We had Baltic Sea fish, cod, fish & chips and squid rings. Good portions, super fried…simply delicious. We'd love to come back!

We spontaneously stopped at the “Fischkombüse” in Travemünde. The friendly staff greeted us immediately and we found the tables and cutlery clean and tidy. A small peculiarity is that the toilet is housed in a separate container, which was a bit unusual but ok. The fish platter for two people is highly recommended and tasted excellent. Above all, the portion was large enough. The fried potatoes were particularly delicious. Drink prices tend to be in the upper league, but have probably become normal now. The ambience near the water is excellent and adds to the cozy atmosphere. It is a good place to eat fish in Travemünde without being fancy and at a fair price-performance ratio. Ideal for a solid meal after a walk or visit to the city, without making high demands but still enjoying a satisfying meal.

The food was solid but the fish was rather so-so. Plaice was dry and tasteless. Too expensive for what is offered. Fish 'n chips were the best. Service was better than the food, very friendly.

If you want to eat fish dishes in Travemünde, the Fisch Kombüse is the right address. Delicious dishes. Price performance perfect and the service good.

You can eat exceptionally good fish here. The restaurant is located directly at the fishing port. Great view!

We ate the most delicious herring roll here. It was freshly prepared. The bun was crispy and slightly warm. We were also asked with onions or without. Lots of onions or little. The wine was also delicious. Well chilled. We didn't expect it.

Located directly at the harbor and rather inconspicuous. Still with a great view of the Trave and the harbor activities. For me personally, these are some of the best fish sandwiches in Travemünde. Add a cool drink and the feasting can begin :-)

The food was delicious and plentiful. The place itself is cozy. In the end, however, I was well cheated with the bill, which the waitress didn't even take out of her hands, she just told us the amount, then after paying, she took the bill, crumpled it up and took it with her. We couldn't even look at what made it double the price we expected...

Delicious fish dishes and nice service

From the fisherman straight to the kitchen. It couldn't be fresher. I treated myself to a plaice, delicious 😋 My companion chose cod and was also thrilled. If anyone visits the restaurant, please watch out for the seagulls. They don't shy away from attacking the plates or the people walking along the quay with rolls. Prices ok.

It looks rather inconspicuous from the outside, but is definitely worth a visit. We had 2x cod fillets (2 large fillets each) with fried potatoes, mustard sauce and salad. Very tasty and the service was super friendly. Changing the order from boiled potatoes to fried potatoes at no extra charge was no problem. We'd love to come back.

We have been to the fish galley quite often. Super tasty fish dishes. Good portion sizes. If you're hungry you can also order a small portion. We recommend.

The fish rolls are absolutely amazing. I have never had a fish roll filled with salad, onions, tomatoes and remolade like this.

The food and service were great, the prices were relatively cheap and the portions were very large. And everything tasted great. The atmosphere was more like a snack bar, but everything was fine. Definitely visit.

I think everything was perfect here. If you like it rustic with a view of the harbor, this is the place for you. Food super tasty. Price performance fits. The service was also very pleasant. We will be back....!!!!

I really like the food, upscale small and larger snacks, with a view of the sea. Seating could be better. Otherwise great.

Well where do I start. Outside the galley there was a board that said today there is a fish platter for two people with 5 different fillets, 5 shrimps and two different side dishes.....The galley is getting quite old and at first there were doubts about eating there go. When we entered the galley we were greeted very friendly and fortunately we were assigned a window seat. We order two drinks and the fish platter. The drinks were served quickly and cool. Of course, it took some time until the fish platter was served because it was freshly prepared... said the waiter. But the wait was worth it...the various fillets, fried potatoes and shrimp tasted very tasty...

Update March 30, 2024 Today we were really looking forward to a fish soup but found that the quality of the dish had deteriorated significantly. Untypical for a fish soup garnished with Italian herbs. We later noticed that the bread that came with it was moldy. To the landlord's credit, he didn't charge for the food, but there was no sign of any further accommodation. It's not certain whether we'll come back. 4 stars: Absolute tip. Beautiful in the sunshine, the original way of eating in the fishing port. The waitresses have been working here for years, which is not a given these days. Down to earth and delicious. One star deducted because the quality of the Prosecco is not really good. Big brand but no sparkle. But that's really just a marginal point of criticism. We love spending time here. We had the fish soup, the shrimp and beer. As I said, Prosecco too, but it wasn't tasty.

The restaurant is unassuming from the outside and not appealing to everyone, but that's deceptive! The food, price/performance and service are simply great... always worth a visit and for us the best fish restaurant in town

Wäre als Vegetarier nie auf die Idee gekommen in ein Fischrestaurant zu gehen, aber ein ehemaliger Arbeitskollege hat mich eingeladen, also, da sagt man nicht nein. Selbst ich habe dort etwas gefundenen 👍👍 Daumen hoch

Dieses traditionelle Restaurant im Hafen ist Pflicht bei jedem Besuch in Travemünde!!! Lasst Euch nicht von den neuen Bauten drumherum irritieren.

Sehr lecker angerichtete Gerichte, super Bedienung und Blick auf den Hafen von Travemünde. Was will man mehr. Auch die Preise sind erschwinglich.

Wer nicht viel Chi-Chi und einfach ehrlich guten Fisch zu fairen Preisen Essen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

gemütlich sitzen, Blick auf die Trave und zum Skandinavienkai, guter fixer Service, Getränke wurden schnell serviert, Speisen waren sehr reichlich, vorwiegend Fischgerichte, was an diesem Ort, im Fischereihafen logisch ist, Currywurst gab es am Nebentisch 🤔🤓, für Alle die mal nicht selbst was tun möchten und doch Hunger verspüren, dafür ist diese Lokalität gut geeignet!
