Un très bon restaurant de poisson au cœur de la vieille ville de Frankfurt am Main. Très large choix de poissons et de plats. Je me suis régalé avec des harengs (dans le fameux sandwich Bismarck) et de délicieux filets d'anguille fumée que la vendeuse a très gentiment fait lever par le poissonnier. On peut aussi consommer des plats chauds. Le cadre et la décoration font penser aux bords de mer. Très bonne adresse. Prix raisonnables

The grilled fish topped with mushrooms and cheese was incredibly delicious! The paper takeout containers were also a great touch, including the container for the tasty green sauce. It was perfect!

I was in Frankfurt for a few hours before my flight, and we needed to eat something. Mind you, I'm not a huge fan of fish, but I was in the mood for some simple fish and chips. I came across this place that I didn't know (I'm from another country) and it seemed more "fancy". We read the menu and decided to go inside and try, even if I was worried I wasn't gonna like any dish very much because like I said, I'm not a big fish fan. The nice waitress told me the codfish was the fish and chips, but with potato salad, so we ordered it. And omg. It was the BEST breaded fish I've ever eaten. Not oily, super tasty and dry, just perfect. The sauce and potato salad were equally delicious. Wish I could have had even more. It was an amazing surprise before my 12 hour flight home. It's one of those unforgettable foods that I know I'll mention many times to others! So worth it, would go back many times if I lived in Frankfurt!

There seems to be a reason why there are always so many local seniors. A place where you can eat seafood of good quality and at a reasonable price in Germany, where it is difficult to eat seafood. The atmosphere inside is also nice, so this is a restaurant I would recommend to my friends.

The restaurant is in a charming location in the middle of the old town. The menu offers a wide selection of fresh fish dishes. The staff was friendly, attentive and competent. The price-performance ratio is reasonable as the quality is good.

I really liked the service and food, but it would be better if the menu had pictures.

Even if, due to personal issues like those caused by gluten, lactose..., you need a kind of personalized menu, it is alright because you get what you need and the result is so good. All these are possible based on the good service and atmosphere.

We had 2x naturally fried redfish fillets with boiled potatoes and green sauce, it tasted absolutely wonderful! What should be particularly highlighted is the extremely friendly, attentive, professional service of the staff, discreet and unobtrusive, exactly as we would wish for anywhere! Interesting restaurant with fish shop at one end in a beautiful district. The food is excellent and it's in the heart of a tourist area so expect that to be reflected in the bill.

Typical fish restaurant, obviously an institution in Frankfurt. If you arrive in time to eat, you can also buy something in the attached shop. The fish is delicious 😋 and fresh; the salad, on the other hand, was a bit boring.

Jens Kölker (from HR3 television) would say "that was the best fish I've eaten". Very, very tasty, fresh and cooked with love. Potato salad with wild garlic mmh vegetable rice that wasn't a loveless side dish and the fish, you would have wanted to lick the plate (figuratively of course). The fish sandwich we took with us wasn't cheap, but it was worth every cent. A well-known restaurant from the North Sea could copy something (starts with Go.....) Whenever we are in Frankfurt, we will go there every time. Compliments to the team

Very tasty, great selection. Service and food were great. You can escape the hustle and bustle of Frankfurt here and feel like you are on the Baltic or North Sea. Unfortunately, the dessert only has very small portions, but that's okay. I'd love to come back.

I've known this restaurant for decades. I was there with my grandfather as a child and teenager. Everything just fits here. The food and service are excellent. The atmosphere and the guests are just right. For me it's definitely number 1 for fish dishes in Frankfurt!

Wenn ich in der Stadt bin und Fisch essen möchte gehe ich schon immer zum Fisch Franke. Die Qualität ist unverändert gut.

Leckeres Essen und netter Service. Auch die Salate und Fischzubereitungen zum Mitnehmen sehen sehr ansprechend aus.

Fisch Franke gehört einfach zu Frankfurt. Ein MUSS. Die Remoulade müsste nicht ganz so fett sein, denn der Fisch ist ausgezeichnet. Service sehr gut. Das Ambiente kann durch die große Besucherzahl leider nicht besser sein.

Incredibly friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. We did not have reservations for lunch but we were seated without issue. The menu is immense but options are listed in both German and English. The fish and chips were very good and the mussels were a monthly special. Will definitely return to sample some of the other options.

Sehr gutes Fischrestaurant mitten in Frankfurts City. Wir waren vom Essen begeistert. Als Vorspeise die reichhaltige Fischsuppe nach Art des Hauses, zur Hauptspeise Zanderfilet mit frischen Champignons und einem leckeren Kartoffelgratin. Alles war wirklich sehr lecker, ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Erik vom Service hat uns sehr freundlich und speditiv bedient. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Frankfurt gerne wieder.

Ein Restaurant wie man es nur noch selten findet: keine Abfertigung sondern netter und persönlicher, professioneller Service; die Speisen sind köstlich!! Habe selten solch hervorragende Moules Frites gegessen! Auch die anderen Gerichte waren sehr gut. Die Atmosphäre ist super, gemischtes, angenehmes Publikum! Hingehen!

When in Frankfurt we always have a meal or two at Fisch Franke! The food is delicious! I recommend calling ahead for a dinner reservation on Friday and Saturday (do not reserve online).

A famous local restaurant specializing in fish dishes. The staff is not very active in dealing with people. But, when ordering, they will proactively and kindly recommend some popular or must-have dishes, but when you are indecisive, the staff will be impatient. I really like the three kinds of fish platter, I can enjoy the taste of three kinds of fish fillets at once, with potatoes, spinach, and the famous Frankfurt green sauce, a great combination. The fish stock was well-seasoned but super salty. The oysters were superb. Next time, I'd like to order the Belgian mussels, which are huge.

Very good fish and potato salad. The breaded style is different from the more typical battered styles. The cod I ordered was not dry and tasty with no fishy odour. This paired very well with the tartar sauce. The potato salad was very appetising and delicious with a tinge of sour aftertaste reminiscent of sauerkraut (tasty!). The grilled salmon was very well done and moist without being overcooked and came accompanied by a very lovely cream sauce. The oysters were fresh but a little small and lacked the more intense flavours more commonly associated with oysters.

Tolles Fischrestaurant mitten in Frankfurt. Hatten zur Vorspeise, den Meeresfrüchte Salat mit Baguette und Butter, was sehr lecker war und megafrisch geschmeckt hat. Nur beim Knoblauch hätte man ein wenig sparen können, aber soll ja gesund sein. Zum Teilen gab es das Langusten Filet, was ebenfalls einen sehr guten Biss hatte. Zum Hauptgang, verschiedene Fischgerichte, die ebenfalls alle sehr schmackhaft waren. Das Restaurant Personal nahm sich die Zeit, Empfehlungen auszusprechen und war sehr schnell und zuvorkommend. Alles in allem ein toller Besuch in einem tollen Fischrestaurant, wir kommen wieder.

Alle Fischliebhaber werden sich hier richtig wohl fühlen- alles frisch, sehr lecker und die Portionen sind ziemlich groß. Zanderfillet mit Gratin war wubderbar. Die Atmosphäre drinnen fand ich auch sehr schön. Nur zu empfehlen.

Super Essen, nette Bedienung aber etwas ungemütlich direkt an Tür, es zieht jedesmal wenn sie geöffnet wird. Wir werden jetzt regelmäßig hingehen, aber vorher einen schönen Tisch reservieren. Auf alle Fälle hingehen. Gruß FS
