Fisch-Borke in Berlin

We've been coming to this incredible restaurant for a few years now. Delicious food, friendly and quick service, a beautiful ambiance by the water, and easy to reach. If they offer it, be sure to try the smoked fish platter!

We had cod with fried potatoes and leeks. Based on the taste and consistency of the fish, we suspected it was frozen, and after a slight hesitation, this was confirmed to us. Totally dry and unpleasant. The fried potatoes came separately in a small bowl and were pale and limp with no flavor. The leeks weren't anything special either. In my opinion, frozen fish is completely unacceptable for a self-respecting restaurant. Especially not for €19.90. I'd rather pay an extra €5 and get fresh fish somewhere else. It's better to take it off the menu and just offer what you can reasonably afford. I once had the veal liver and schnitzel there. It was good and tasty.

The seating there is truly wonderful. A holiday feeling! Unfortunately, the asparagus and potatoes were saltless, but the staff were friendly and quick.

I ordered the schnelle Teller, my family had main menu as they did not like the schnelle Teller Option. Everything took 1 hour to come to the table from ordering. What made it worse was we were there from opening and others got food ahead of us. When the plate came, it was wrong, they announced it was pasta, aioli and vegetables which was fine but they brought me fish with vegetables. They said they checked as the menu changed or they made a mistake but they didn't. It's a shame as I've been before and it's generally nice because of the nice setting. Stroganoff was also arguably vegetarian as it had little meat. two stars for the location...

A wonderful spot to enjoy the sunset in the evening with friendly people and a snack and a drink. The beach serves delicious fish sandwiches and a good selection of drinks. On our first trip there, there was even an entertainer providing musical accompaniment. Even though it wasn't my preferred style of music, it contributed to a good overall atmosphere. We were also satisfied with the food and drinks on our second visit. Easy to reach as a cyclist, but as a driver, I wasn't able to find a parking space nearby. But we'd be happy to come back.

The location on Müggelsee is very beautiful, and the interior ambiance is rustic but cozy. We were there around lunchtime on Whitsun and waited over an hour for our food. Maybe because of Whitsun, but it wasn't fully booked. Who knows... The food was okay, veal schnitzel with fried potatoes, which I don't think is good, but I finished it all.

Schnitzel was way too fatty, risotto wasn't risotto, birthday cake had to be paid for by myself.

I booked a table for my birthday in April. When we arrived, a young lady asked us to choose a table on the terrace. Unfortunately, it was full. We were fobbed off with a glass of Prosecco. Everything was fine until a table became available. Drinks arrived, and we had ordered food, but unfortunately, nothing came. After an hour and a half, they realized something had gone wrong in the kitchen and they had forgotten about us. The young ladies were completely overwhelmed. Sure, the weather was great, but if I don't have any staff, I can't fill all the tables. We actually went home hungry on my birthday and extremely disappointed. The place now has decent prices for a meal of €20-39, but it's unable to offer decent service. Unfortunately, even the beautiful sunset doesn't help. What a shame!

A true highlight – more than just a restaurant visit! What an experience! We were here for the very first time today, and I'll be honest: I've rarely been so positively surprised. From the very first moment, this visit felt like a little break from everyday life. A place where you immediately feel comfortable and welcome. And then the service… my heart! Such warmth, such genuine friendliness, and attentiveness are unfortunately rare these days. Every smile was genuine – you can just feel that the people working here love what they do. And the food? I haven't had such a fantastic meal in a long time! Every dish was a poem, with fresh ingredients, expertly prepared to perfection, and with so much flavor that I would have loved to applaud the table. 5 out of 5 points isn't enough. If I had the opportunity to award more stars, I would do it without hesitation. Dear team: Chapeau! Stay exactly as you are. Genuine, warm, professional, special. What you've created is no longer something to be taken for granted—and that's precisely why it's so valuable. We'll be back. Absolutely. And we recommend you wholeheartedly. I regularly go to Fisch Borke with friends. Mainly on weekends, but sometimes during the week as well. I really like the atmosphere, and the place is a great place to relax.

A very nice location right on Müggelsee. Plenty of seating, very friendly service, and delicious food and drinks. I always enjoy coming here, whether with friends on the weekend or to enjoy the sunset by the water after work. Occasionally, there's live music, which makes the whole atmosphere even more enjoyable.

We celebrated our silver wedding anniversary in the "Oberstübchen" (upper room) at the Fisch-Borke. The room, with its view of Lake Müggelsee, is very pretty. The waitresses were super friendly and helpful, and everyone enjoyed the food. From the Oberstübchen terrace, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset to round off the successful evening.

A great place to go for a meal or to enjoy a cold beer while gazing over Müggelsee. Very good food and friendly service.

I had actually made a reservation for 30 people in the beer garden. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it started to rain heavily and it was very windy. The wait staff was super friendly and, despite the immense group size, prepared a table for us in the back of the restaurant. So we stayed dry, and everyone was happy. The service was incredibly fast and extremely friendly. I can't say much about the food, as we mostly only had drinks. But the Borke beer was delicious! Thanks to the entire Fisch-Borke team for their absolutely spontaneous and fantastic performance! You certainly didn't have it easy with us 😅🤭😘

Great location. Right on the lake. The sunset was amazing.

The view of Müggelsee, sky, and clouds was unique. As the wind and waves rolled in, we were able to comfortably admire the surfers' tricks in the warm dining room. We were able to spot flying swans, herons, and greylag geese. Each of the four of us girls ordered a different dish, and everyone enjoyed it 👌. The staff was friendly and the service perfect. The hours we spent there were very enjoyable and flew by.

One of the worst places, people get the feel of 1900. Food served there is unfresh. Workers are exploited. And do a bit research of the place before you want to spend you money. Morden exploration and power of money talks with the owner. No ethics and no respect to humans specially non Germans and also your getting a negative vibed in your plate. Not worth it just research more about the place the person owning it .

We love coming here again and again! Highly recommended. Located right on Müggelsee, the view and atmosphere are fantastic in the summer, and they often host live acts. They're also incredibly kid-friendly. The food is fresh and high-quality. Even in winter, it's a cozy retreat. The fireplace creates a cozy warmth. The staff is very, very friendly. My absolute favorite dining spot on Müggelsee!

Very, very tasty! The food, house wine, and house beer were all excellent. We had cod and tilapia, both of which were excellent. The ambiance is fantastic. And in summer, the terrace is a dream. When the weather is bad, the fireplace beckons you inside and makes it super cozy. The service is very good. And the view over the lake – priceless! Highly recommended. We'll be back.

The food itself was great, but the restaurant charges a lot for its waterfront location (okay, considering the lease). The service was friendly, but they're not so good at clearing up. No direct parking, about a 10-minute walk from the nearest regular one!

We always love coming here and brought my Dad who was visiting from the US. Had great service, food, and you can't beat the Müggelsee sunset.

We felt ignored at the table. Only after calling our attention several times did a service come. The coffee was brought quite quickly, but the ice cream was a long time coming. After a long time, the ice cream was placed on the table with the words "It's best to distribute the ice cream yourself, you know best who ordered which one." The ice cream sundaes didn't look appealing for the high price and the scoops were already half liquid. We then went straight in to pay so that we didn't have to wait forever for service. A very bad service.

We've been to Fischbarke several times and every time it's like a little break from everyday life. You can unwind right by the water. The food and drinks are great! The staff is very friendly. There's often something going on musically too. Andrea

The location is a dream. To experience sunsets perfectly. Prices are sometimes questionable. Coffee in a cardboard cup in the self-service department 4 euros. Does it have to?

Only upside: the beautiful location. We went there with our kids and ordered quickly, telling the staff we didn’t have all night because of the kids. Then they FORGOT us, both for the starters and the main course. We ended up telling the staff to stop after 1.5 hours and we got French fries from the kiosk ☹️. Very unattentive service staff, never checking in on the table, not taking care of guests. We felt completely mistreated and will NEVER go back after this experience.

Even with allergies, they tried to make someone happy. Therefore more points than anywhere else.

The prices are in the upper range, we were there with 16 people and opinions about the quality of the food were divided. From good to unfortunately not satisfied, everything was there. The service is really excellent - very friendly and on the ball!

The Fisch & Borke restaurant is a real insider tip! The ambience right on the lake is simply fantastic - especially with the campfire and sunset, a wonderful atmosphere is created that makes the evening unforgettable. The service was also excellent that evening. Despite our larger group, the team managed to serve all the dishes at the same time and hot - a truly impressive achievement! All employees were attentive, friendly and always had a good eye for the needs of the guests. The food itself was overall very good. The starter, the “cappuccino”, was particularly enjoyable. My main course, the asparagus, could have been cooked a little longer - probably due to the challenge of preparing so many dishes perfectly at the same time. Nevertheless, this dish was also very tasty in terms of taste. Overall, a really great place for a lovely evening – many thanks to the Fisch & Borke team!

We have eaten at Fisch Borke several times and sat in the outdoor area, which has now been beautifully decorated. The food has always been very good and recommended. But yesterday we were very disappointed. We were in the restaurant with 6 people and had reserved in advance. We almost didn't find the cod on our plate and that for the price. That's how you alienate your customers, it wasn't very nice,

Mega great food, just fantastic

Very nice place. Really good breakfast. 1 for 2 is enough. Unfortunately very poorly organized with a pre-registered group. Table much too small. You had to eat in a small space and plates were only given upon request, when everything else was already on the table. A broken glass that the waiter had dropped was only partially cleared up. Shards with child and dog = dangerous. Would come again, but only if there is a sufficiently large table available. The food was really great.

The restaurant is great - unfortunately we were in the event hall, which is not as atmospheric as the restaurant. But the restaurant is great and absolutely recommended!

On April 13th, 2025 we were there with several people and wanted food. We were turned away because we only had cash and no EC card. For us service is zero.

We had dinner in the restaurant yesterday. I think the price-performance ratio is good. The food tasted excellent and the portions were reasonable. I like the rustic, yet modern atmosphere. The view is beautiful. All in all we were very satisfied!

We have rarely eaten so badly for so much money. The schnitzels were pale and the fried potatoes were still completely raw and hard. The staff is very nice and the view is great. But we won't eat here anymore. But it's okay for a drink break.

We were there for the first time at the weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the location. Nice location to relax with enough loungers. We reserved a table in the restaurant and were extremely disappointed! It started when I wanted to order a Lillet Spritzer without alcohol and then got a glass of Schweppes Wild Berry (see photo). I just expected that the glass would still be presented to me nicely with a straw and ice like the splashes with alcohol! The veal schnitzel was priced online at 26.50 or 26.90 and on site it was 29.90, so almost €30! A ridiculous amount of fried potatoes (see photo) which was very disappointing and absolutely rude. I ordered an apple strudel which was significantly too expensive at €10. There were no raisins as written on the menu and the "vanilla sour cream" was simply a dollop of cream. The vanilla sauce tasted like Dr. Oetker's pudding powder. Both tasted good, but the price-performance ratio was a disgrace! The waitress only asked whether it was tasty and not whether we were satisfied 😉 We weren't. I can't recommend it either. The fries at the food truck outside, however, were very good. The live music was very pleasant, but we definitely can't recommend the food on offer.

Attention, currently closed for renovations...probably a week or 2 or so... (from 02/24/25...) Unfortunately we were there without this information :( So there were only fries, fish sandwiches and cake. It's a shame if you're prepared for a real lunch...

I actually wanted to spoil my wife for Valentine's Day, but the shot/visit completely backfired! Never again !! As soon as we arrived at 2 p.m., we noticed that the wintery, cozy garden (as advertised on the website) was not prepared at all. Not a single table, chair was free of snow, no cushions or blankets, not even in the area of ​​the "romantic" sales cart. (mulled wine pavilion fire basket??) It wasn't easy to order as the only option was savoy cabbage as a side dish. After 10 minutes the drinks didn't come, they had been forgotten. Appetizers Fish soup worked, but the port wine reduction with wild mushrooms + geese / game meat consisted of 4 cubes of dead fried meat in a "mash" made from chopped canned mushrooms, the water thickened with a ready-made sauce (port wine / butter as a flavor carrier??) Guaranteed not !!! Half of it was returned with a complaint, remained on the table, and we went to the mulled wine cart first. Ashtray??? I should throw the butt in the snow. Patio heater: Unfortunately the gas bottle was empty! I thought it wouldn't be so bad, since it was cool in the dining room, but we found out that the heating had failed!! But when we got back to the table, the fireplace in the dining room was now burning! But our/my complained about starter was still on the table (cutlery at an angle on the plate/napkin used on the plate). The service staff literally said that he was surprised and thought I would continue eating!! Toilet visit: Unique experience Main course First without cutlery, but then "UriGeller fork" from the neighboring table How do you get the braised savoy cabbage side dish so sour!!?? How can fish breading and baked potato halves come out of the kitchen so salty?? Oh well, the menu didn't say "new butter potatoes tossed in herbs" but rather Pagnini, but what the heck, the savoy cabbage was ready, the potatoes were ready, so put it on the plate!! Don't feel like discussing things 98.00 € were charged without any apology assumed !! Christian + Elke Hess

Completely overpriced, boring snacks. They also collect money in the dirty toilet container. The restaurant has too few seats and a fish menu that is very expensive. The ambience is incredibly beautiful. It's best to bring a drink and snack with you. Every now and then there is a campfire er and live music. The sunsets are wonderful.

Not welcoming, after we entered the store a waitress came up and down and instead of greeting she said don't get in the way. A bit rude, maybe the boss should make an announcement. We left the store immediately afterwards!!!

It's a very beautiful place and when we got there I thought: wow, this is going to be my favorite place in Berlin. Why one star? We ordered pumpkin soup, didn't wait for it, asked again - nothing happened. On the third attempt the soup was brought to us - it was so spicy and sour that it was impossible to eat. The waitress is very unfriendly and does not speak English. It seemed to me that our lack of knowledge of German greatly affected the quality of service. In any case we will not come back.

We went on a family trip to Fisch Bark and were super satisfied. The food was very good and beautifully prepared. We were served courteously and friendly. Even with ice on the lake, the environment was great. The people of Palatinate say thank you and will be happy to come back.

At the right time, incredibly cozy, romantic and when the music is playing, it's just beautiful. Latte macchiato has never had foam, for whatever reason, it urgently needs to be changed. Service would be improved here and there, but very nice. Gladly again at any time!

A very nice location. Both in winter and summer. In winter you can sit in the restaurant. There is also a fireplace. In summer you can sit in one of the many deck chairs and look out over the Müggelsee. Drinks and food are available from a food truck.

Me and my friends had visited this place and was not even spoken to and people made fun of us and disrespected us for our accent and i think for our apperance too. It's a beautiful place but ugly behaviour.

Worst place and worst behaviour out there. I can justify all the post above by others for this place being unfair to some people. I had a very bad experience at this place and I request please to read and understand before supporting business like this and the the management needs to be questioned. Great location with very friendly staff!!! Food tastes good, but the slimy mashed potatoes should be urgently reconsidered and replaced with homemade mashed potatoes!

Fish bark 🥰 is always recommended. Everyone tries to make the guests as pleasant as possible. You should always remember what has happened there in recent years. We have already opened the 2025 fish bark season on January 1st 🤗 Small but very nice card! It was very tasty and we really enjoyed our time there in the cozy atmosphere. Service was top! Nice location in a good location. Unfortunately, terrible mulled wine to go - the orange slice didn't help either. Overcooked and the base wine was past its peak. There are so many good mulled wines, for example at vom Fass in Bölschestrasse. As a shopping tip for the catering trade 👌
