Fisch-Borke in Berlin

I actually wanted to spoil my wife for Valentine's Day, but the shot/visit completely backfired! Never again !! As soon as we arrived at 2 p.m., we noticed that the wintery, cozy garden (as advertised on the website) was not prepared at all. Not a single table, chair was free of snow, no cushions or blankets, not even in the area of ​​the "romantic" sales cart. (mulled wine pavilion fire basket??) It wasn't easy to order as the only option was savoy cabbage as a side dish. After 10 minutes the drinks didn't come, they had been forgotten. Appetizers Fish soup worked, but the port wine reduction with wild mushrooms + geese / game meat consisted of 4 cubes of dead fried meat in a "mash" made from chopped canned mushrooms, the water thickened with a ready-made sauce (port wine / butter as a flavor carrier??) Guaranteed not !!! Half of it was returned with a complaint, remained on the table, and we went to the mulled wine cart first. Ashtray??? I should throw the butt in the snow. Patio heater: Unfortunately the gas bottle was empty! I thought it wouldn't be so bad, since it was cool in the dining room, but we found out that the heating had failed!! But when we got back to the table, the fireplace in the dining room was now burning! But our/my complained about starter was still on the table (cutlery at an angle on the plate/napkin used on the plate). The service staff literally said that he was surprised and thought I would continue eating!! Toilet visit: Unique experience Main course First without cutlery, but then "UriGeller fork" from the neighboring table How do you get the braised savoy cabbage side dish so sour!!?? How can fish breading and baked potato halves come out of the kitchen so salty?? Oh well, the menu didn't say "new butter potatoes tossed in herbs" but rather Pagnini, but what the heck, the savoy cabbage was ready, the potatoes were ready, so put it on the plate!! Completely overpriced, boring snacks. They also collect money in the dirty toilet container. The restaurant has too few seats and a fish menu that is very expensive. The ambience is incredibly beautiful. It's best to bring a drink and snack with you. Every now and then there is a campfire er and live music. The sunsets are wonderful.

Not welcoming, after we entered the store a waitress came up and down and instead of greeting she said don't get in the way. A bit rude, maybe the boss should make an announcement. We left the store immediately afterwards!!!

We went on a family trip to Fisch Bark and were super satisfied. The food was very good and beautifully prepared. We were served courteously and friendly. Even with ice on the lake, the environment was great. The people of Palatinate say thank you and will be happy to come back.

It's a very beautiful place and when we got there I thought: wow, this is going to be my favorite place in Berlin. Why one star? We ordered pumpkin soup, didn't wait for it, asked again - nothing happened. On the third attempt the soup was brought to us - it was so spicy and sour that it was impossible to eat. The waitress is very unfriendly and does not speak English. It seemed to me that our lack of knowledge of German greatly affected the quality of service. In any case we will not come back.

A very nice location. Both in winter and summer. In winter you can sit in the restaurant. There is also a fireplace. In summer you can sit in one of the many deck chairs and look out over the Müggelsee. Drinks and food are available from a food truck.

A beautiful atmosphere with good, relaxed live music. The food is not cheap, but really tasty and high quality. The staff is relaxed, friendly, professional. The location by the lake and the sunset around the campfire with a glass of wine, priceless.

Nice location in a good location. Unfortunately, terrible mulled wine to go - the orange slice didn't help either. Overcooked and the base wine was past its peak. There are so many good mulled wines, for example at vom Fass in Bölschestrasse. As a shopping tip for the catering trade 👌

I don't know, the service is subpar. There are three waiters who don't even look to see if anyone wants to order. In addition, they are completely overwhelmed even though nothing is going on. When you ask if you can order, you look annoyed. You can hear from every table that an order is missing. And this is my second time there. This wasn't just a bad day. It's just bad service. They live here just from the view of the water! Plus it's extremely expensive.

Wir hatten für einen Geburtstag einen Tisch für 6 Personen + Kind reserviert (Wochen vorher ). Das ist anscheinend untergegangen, der Tisch musste erst abgeräumt werden. Der Service war bemüht, so dass wir zumindest Getränke bekamen. Auf das Essen haben wir vergeblich fast 2 Stunden gewartet. Trotz mehrfacher Nachfragen, ob denn wenigstens für das Kind das Essen gebracht werden kann, wurden wir bedauernd darauf hingewiesen, dass es der Reihenfolge nach geht. Nicht nachvollziehbar, da alle anderen späteren Gäste ihr Essen bekamen. Hervorzuheben ist der Koch, der sich 2 x bei uns entschuldigte. Leider war es bereits das 2. Mal das wir dort sowas erlebt haben. Mehr als 2 Personen und die Überforderung ist vom Service da. Ein 3.Mal wird es für uns nicht geben. Der Service ist derart unprofessionell, dass ist mit Sicherheit den Preisen nicht angemessen.

Wir kommen immer wieder gern an diesen romantischen Ort zum Sonnenuntergang, der sich in den letzten Jahren ziemlich verändert hat. Viele Jahre haben wir den Juchitzer von Hubert von Goisern genossen, den es jetzt leider nicht mehr gibt. Trotzdem gibt es hier immer noch einen zauberhaften Sonnenuntergang und einen guten Service einschließlich Küche. Um unser feeling perfekt zu machen, fehlt uns leider noch als Rotweintrinker ein entsprechender Rotwein. Das "dicke B" ist leider nicht das, was einen guten Rotwein ausmacht und einen Rotweintrinker glücklich.... Heute hatten wir das einmalige Erlebnis eine Flasche italienischen Rotwein genießen zu können. Er war einfach ein Träumchen. Die Geschäftsidee mit nur deutschen Getränken ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar, da auch der Prosecco aus Italien kommt. Bei einer Erweiterung der Rotweinauswahl würden wir sehr gern 5 Punkte vergeben und öfter hier die Zeit genießen.

Very bad treatment by the owner. Was very rude due to my colour. Didnt even take our order. Heard the owner does not believe in paying his staff regularly. There have also been multiple other instances of unfair and inconsiderate treatments especially focused on immigrants. Cannot recommend/promote/ praise this place till this severe wrong doing is corrected.

The place is super beautiful. In summer you can enjoy the view while eating and drinking something. The food truck and the living contents are sometimes massively overwhelmed. A deep fryer doesn't work, everything has to be rearranged and you tend to get soggy in the process. Then someone comes in and gets the old device. The inexperienced “cook” then throws frozen fries into the hot fat. The result is very clear - the thing immediately overflows. Nothing is an issue if you stay friendly. Maybe we were unlucky and there were unqualified temporary workers at the start.

We stopped here on an e-bike tour around the large Müggelsee. We noticed the restaurant when planning the tour. It was very nice here, with a wonderful view of the lake from the lounge chair. But then came the food: veal schnitzel with fried potatoes and Berlin liver with onion, apple and potato composition. Both were awesome! Totally delicious and buttery; just MEGA!!!

I had a really troubling experience at this restaurant. The owner’s racist attitude was evident, and it’s appalling to see how he treats his employees, particularly when he discovers they are immigrants. Not paying them for their work is completely unacceptable. It’s a shame, because I believe in supporting businesses that treat everyone with respect.

We recently had a event organised over here related to our company. Being the director of my company I believe in treating my employees the best. But what I observed here was the worst, racist comments against their employees, treating employees like they are slaves, this not acceptable. Having such harsh environment for their employees is really sad to see. The owners should really change the their attitude towards their employees, it was very bad to see such behaviour from them.

Very nice location. Restaurant right on the water, next to it there is a lawn with loungers and self-service, drinks, fries. Sunset, Nice. On "my" Friday there was chilled music from the DJ and after sunset there was a fire in a large fire bowl. Easy to reach by public. Parking is not possible on site, there is a parking lot nearby.

Great ambience, very nice service, top range of drinks. Unfortunately the fish was a disappointment. It may have been an exception. But both the plaice and the cod were fried dry, despite the good quality of the fish. Unfortunately, the risotto was more of a porridge. I was a guest here at lunchtime as part of a company outing. I had looked at the menu online in advance to see if there would be anything vegan and was happily surprised that I could eat a vegan curry at this seafood restaurant. Unfortunately, by the time we visited, the menu had been changed so that there was only vegetarian food. So I ordered the wild garlic pasta, which was delicious, but unfortunately didn't taste like wild garlic at all, but sweet and tomatoey. The portion wasn't particularly big for the price either. So I also ordered the Belgian waffle. It was really good and the vanilla sauce wasn't too sweet. Unfortunately, the strawberries didn't have an intense flavor. There is also a plus point for the delicious Cucumis Limos on the drinks menu. The ambience is great with indoor and outdoor seating. Right on the water and with a wide view of the lake. An order at our table was mixed up, probably due to the large number of people in our group. But it was delivered quickly.

We made a stop in the outdoor area while on a bike ride. A really nice, well-kept location right on the lake. Since we just wanted a snack, we went to the self-service food truck. The food was good so far, but a bit expensive. I find 5.50 EUR for a warmed grilled sausage a bit steep. The fries and fish sandwich were delicious. The service was noticeably bad. The employees were constantly smoking and chatting and, despite there being fewer guests, we waited quite a while for the food. I had the impression that I was being a nuisance as a guest. I wonder how the employees work when it's full?! What is not possible at all is the hygiene of the toilet truck. It smells like the Alfred Brehm House 10 meters in front of it. The hygiene condition does not match the rest of the location. Overall, there is still a lot of room for improvement.

I ordered pasta with “lobster bolognese”. I got a can of tomato soup with cheap vegetables, including ones with a strong taste of their own (soup vegetables with celeriac, plus lots of dill), so that I couldn't taste any of the 3.5 ounces of crustacean meat (hard and dry). There were 5 yellow carbohydrate conglomerates floating in it, which upon closer inspection turned out to be overcooked former spaghetti. After these slid down the palate without leaving much of an impression, hunger set in. I asked for a little more pasta or a little bread so that I would at least feel full. In fact, after a bit of grumbling and growling from the waitress, I got a little more of the mixture described above, this time dripping with some kind of fat. I was actually charged extra for these. On the grounds that this half children's portion made a second helping absolutely necessary, I refused to pay for this indefinable mass, which would make every Italian's hair stand on end and which has been considered extinct since the 1950s. Strangely, this was met with little understanding and no love whatsoever. I still didn't pay for the second helping, at a whopping just under €20 (gourmet restaurant prices for the right quantity, without claiming quality), the price was certainly well within the profit range for the owners. Hospitable is different. The cellar beer was shit too

At the weekend I was able to hold a larger birthday party there. The organization in advance was friendly, uncomplicated and my wishes were quickly internalized. On the day itself everything went well. The crew was very attentive and really nice. We all felt very comfortable. The food was excellent and every wish was met at the bar! Sunset included. You do a great job and at a great price-performance ratio! Keep it up!

Unfortunately, I had a truly terrible experience in this restaurant on Friday: we initially had to wait over an hour for the table. When we sat at the table at 8:45 p.m., no waiter came. When he came and I asked about gluten-free/vegetarian food options, he said he was “quickly handing the job over to a colleague.” He came and wanted to inquire in the kitchen what was available. He didn't come back. We then got a menu and wanted to order. Then they said the kitchen was already closed!!! It closed at 9pm and it was 9pm! We said that this was unacceptable because we had now waited over an hour and another 15 minutes in the restaurant and now we are no longer allowed to order? As an exception, we were allowed to order - so we ordered chanterelle soup and a salad from a lady. I asked if you could have the soup WITHOUT the bacon. She wanted to ask about this in the kitchen. When she came back she confirmed and even said that the soup had always been served without bacon and that it was always offered without bacon. I expressed my surprise as to whether no one had complained yet? It says so on the map. She said “No one has complained yet. It’s always offered like this…!” Unfortunately, when the food finally came, the first thing I bit into was the bacon, which is supposedly never in the soup. Because it wasn't very bright on the terrace and I was there After receiving double confirmation that there was never bacon in the soup, I was shocked and disgusted that it was exactly different from what I was told. I felt direct bad. The evening was over... The highlight was that I had to pay for drinks as well as both dishes - we hadn't touched the salad either. The waiter said, “But the kitchen prepared both dishes and served them out.” After a short gasp, the service manager came and said I didn’t have to pay anything. The evening at Fisch Borke was shocking: the long waiting time, the service in general, the feeling that the service staff gave you and then the icing on the cake at the end, that it was apparently not a big concern that guests left the restaurant full and in a good mood Go local & most importantly, get what you order. I strongly recommend people with intolerances or preferences (vegetarians) not to eat there!! The whole thing was a huge disappointment and a big shock with an aftertaste. In the truest sense...

Maybe in advance: The location is nice, the food is good, as we have been there several times. But after the day before yesterday it was the last time. My partner booked a table with the LONGER THAN 2 HOURS option because it was a business meeting. It was agreed that we would come later with my mother (81 years old). But when we arrived, my friend and her customer were already sent off... because they needed the seats. My girlfriend was still eating and just ordered drinks again... The boss then kept standing next to him... Incidentally, it is interesting that a boss pretends to be an employee and the waiters then have to apologize for this behavior afterwards. The waiters were friendly and accommodating and provided Aperol as compensation. Okay, but my girlfriend doesn't drink alcohol. At other tables where only drinks were consumed, people had already arrived and only young girls were sitting, the "nice" gentleman strangely didn't want to take any action. We have definitely seen the last of this restaurant and, despite the view and the ambience, it is no longer recommended. If someone treats their customers like that, I don't want to know how the employees there are doing.

Sooooo beautiful there. Were on April 30th. and directly on May 1st. there again. Yesterday we reserved a table, it was a bit chaotic but everything was solved really well in the end. The food is really not good. Very expensive and not good quality. The portions are relatively small for the prices and the fish was fried to death. The atmosphere is really great, right on the lake and a great view. Unfortunately we also noticed the staff negatively. Pretty annoyed and arrogant. There were tourists from France there, the lady couldn't remember the German word, and the employees initially made fun of it. A service worker already had a good cup of tea at 8 p.m. People who are basically regular guests are treated differently than “strangers” and this is quite noticeable. There are also other bars and restaurants at Müggelsee where I definitely felt more comfortable. On a sunny day you can relax and unwind there.

Dear Fisch-Borke team, it was simply a dream with you!!! Already child-friendly with the old boat digging box for the little rascals (they were immediately gone), friendly and attentive service, a dream setting with a sunset on the Müggelsee.. And the food was really worth the price with every bite.. 500 You can hardly finish the large, tasty shrimps in a magical white wine butter sauce or the smoked fish plate with very tasty dips (of course they are often packed). Real Viennese veal schnitzel, beautifully prepared herring rolls with crispy fried potatoes or even a great rice pudding with cinnamon and apple sauce for the little ones .. and (still) at a really fair price .. PLEASE keep it up, you're on the right track.. We'll be happy to come back .. absolutely! I recently visited the restaurant and have to say I really liked the ambience and location. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, there was a small incident that marred my visit. I had ordered the "smoked platter" but realized during the meal that I had forgotten my medication that I need for my meal. So unfortunately I was only able to try a little and mainly ate the bread. When I asked to pack the rest, my request was honored very politely and quickly. When I got home, however, I discovered that only the parts that I had already lightly pierced were packed, and the remaining, untouched part of the plate was unfortunately missing. This was really disappointing because I was missing about three quarters of the meal I was looking forward to. I hope this was a misunderstanding. Otherwise a really nice restaurant that I would like to come back to.

By far one of the worst restaurants in Berlin. The location alone seems to evoke a positive feeling among customers. Despite the possibility of accessing local and ecologically sound food, the dishes are made from cheap goods. Still overpriced. The poor quality is covered up with a creatively needy and very conventional way of serving the food. Waste is not avoided in the company and is apparently regularly burned to the detriment of the environment for cost reasons. On top of that, people with moral standards such as charity are also disappointed here. The predominantly migrant staff are exploited in the worst possible way through legal gray areas, and their tips are redistributed. Do not become an accomplice of such an image of humanity and system through financial support! However, some people don't seem to care because the clientele from rural areas is often very abusive towards employees who don't speak German. Overall, a very unpleasant place that tries to create the appearance of a feel-good atmosphere through desperate superficial measures.

It's a shame - unfortunately very expensive and a lot of people here. Was too crowded to really enjoy the sunset. The food wants to be classy, ​​but unfortunately it's just expensive. Too bad...
