We absolutely cannot understand the mostly very good reviews. We were out-of-town guests, so not hotel guests. Since we had already had a very good meal somewhere else for lunch, we decided on the "small" 3-course menu. The starter should be a bread salad. If you're thinking of a kind of "panzanella" in any way, you're far from it....it was, conversely, a "normal" salad, which was only garnished with 5-10 miniature croutons, with a relatively tasteless and sparingly used dressing. The croutons gave the heavy impression of coming from a packet/bucket. I had the roast venison on it. This consisted of 3-4 flat wide slices, garnished with root vegetables and a small square of gratin. So far, so good... But the meat tasted more like veal that had been completely cooked to death, and the quite tasty vegetables didn't really give the impression of freshness, but rather seemed like frozen goods. Overall, the dish was more in the category of canteen food or typical catering food, which you typically get at hotel conferences from the large warm stainless steel vats. The dessert also clearly gave the impression of convenience food. Overall, not a sustainable experience and absolutely not adequate for such a location. The two stars are therefore only for the really nice and friendly service (the staff really tried hard) and the ambience. Maybe we were just unlucky that evening, but the extremely good reviews that prompted us to dine here were absolutely not reflected in our menus. Very unfortunate...

Wir waren zu zweit im Kaupen und haben sehr gut gegessen. Neben 1 Fischgericht hatten wir auch ein veganes Gericht bestellt, alles schmackhaft und kreativ zubereitet

Wilted peppermint leaves with brown spots in the cocktail could have served as a warning light. But since we were hungry and the seating outside was very comfortable, we ordered cordon bleu and a chicken schnitzel. Unfortunately, both dishes weren't particularly good or tasty either. The fried potatoes were probably old and warmed up, the cordon bleu between the meat and breading was soggy and tasteless. In our opinion, it doesn't take much to prepare simple but good food. Unfortunately that doesn't work here. The price/performance ratio is not right here at all! Not even for a chicken schnitzel with a few croquettes and far too little sauce. Greetings to the young waiter who tries very hard and can't help it.

The grill plate is absolutely recommended! So far we've only ever sat outside - in the middle of summer, mosquito spray is also recommended, otherwise you'll quickly end up with delicious food for the little pecks. The wine selection is also impressive: e.g. Sidhuri Montepulciano D'abruzzo. Excellent! PS: Tip - it's best to make a reservation!

We ate here several times during our stay. Langos, currywurst with fries and potatoes with quark, everything was super tasty. The service was also very nice, despite the high volume.
