I have to add something to the star rating. Thanks for the great coffee time with you. That's what I hope for in a coffee... we had family gatherings and all of them were thrilled. Can only be recommended. Fast, friendly service, delicious food and such fresh, beautiful flowers on the table. Hats off, because only very few people can do what the boss has under control. A thank you to you and your team and lots of strength and health for further perseverance during this time.👍🌻🍀🥂

Inconspicuous from the outside, but at second glance a very cozy, small and inviting outdoor area. The service was super nice, you can tell that the staff put their hearts into it. We had a delicious meal and would definitely come back.

Whatever your heart desires Ate and drank comfortably in the pretty beer garden. The service ladies are great. Price-performance fits. We would be happy to visit the Fontane again during our Silki and Rüdi holiday week AND ONE YEAR LATER...still highly recommended. Very attentive service. Great food and always happy. Rudest waiters ever, especially the old woman. She is nice to the Germans, but condescending and rude to us. Don't recommend this place at all. Absolute garbage service.

Cozy restaurant with delicious food and reasonable prices. Service great - attentive and friendly. I've never had as good asparagus in a restaurant like I did here. Very well seasoned and not overcooked - unfortunately not many people can manage that. The salmon was also on point. Clear recommendation 👍

Just under 4 stars for good food, but otherwise everyone was a bit confused there. Or, as is the case everywhere, there are too few staff, and sometimes things go wrong. But nice and good cuisine.

We spent a long weekend in the Spreewald and met up with friends at Cafe Fontane for dinner. The reception was very friendly and pleasant, the guest room was cozy and furnished to match the name. We had reserved, but could still choose between 2 tables. The service was attentive but not intrusive, orders were taken quickly, drinks and food were served in a pleasant time. The selection of drinks is sufficient and of good quality, the menu is pleasantly clear and is well complemented by seasonal menus. The food was simply delicious 😋!!! In our opinion, the prices are definitely appropriate for the service and quality served! We can only recommend the restaurant and would be happy to come back!

We wanted to warm up with some hot cocoa since it was quite cold in March. Unfortunately there are only a few tables available inside and it was too cold for us outside. However, the waitress saw that customers were paying and offered us to wait a moment. We then got a table and had the cocoa served to us. In the colder season, I would recommend a reservation due to the few tables. All tables were reserved and without a reservation you couldn't get a table. In summer there is also a terrace with additional tables.

The employees there are quite friendly and polite. The food is very, very tasty and recommended. It's cozy there too.

I have rarely eaten as deliciously as I did here. My chicken breast was on point and absolutely tender, the peach and goat cheese complemented each other perfectly. My husband's schnitzel was also to die for. The service was really excellent, attentive and courteous.

Absolute Empfehlung! Liebevoll dekoriert, angenehme Atmosphäre, die zum Verweilen einlädt. Aufmerksamer, freundlicher Service, dabei nicht aufdringlich. Unfassbar leckeres Essen, ansprechend präsentiert. Vegane Optionen sind speziell gekennzeichnet. Hausgemachte Kuchen und Torten.

Wir waren zum Abendessen. Das Bier fantastisch, die Bedienung klasse und das Essen die Wucht! Man was war das lecker! Perfekt gegart, perfekt gewürzt. Den Kuchen haben wir nicht probiert, er sah aber lecker aus!

Wir hatten heute wahrscheinlich Glück bei unserem ersten Spreewaldbesuch; wir haben einen Service hier kennengelernt der seines gleichen sucht. Mit diesem Service hat der Gast ein Lächeln auf den Lippen und kehrt hier gerne wieder ein.

Wir waren begeistert. Von drei Restaurants, die wir in Lübbenau besucht haben, war das Café Fontane mit Abstand das beste. Das Essen war hervorragend, von Rinderfilet über Nudeln mit Lachs bis zu Gemüsegratin hatten wir viel probiert und alles war wirklich sehr sehr gut. Auch die Kids waren mit Pasta und Plinsen sehr happy. Und zu guter Letzt haben auch die Kuchen sehr überzeugt. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und charmant, was nicht zwingend unsere typische Erfahrung in Lübbenau war. Und sowohl draußen wie drinnen sitzt man sehr gemütlich. Wir waren zweimal in 4 Tagen dort essen und haben sogar eine andere Reservierung gecancelt, weil wir gerne noch einmal hingehen wollten. Das sagt im Prinzip alles. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben für 18 Uhr einen Tisch für innen reserviert. Angekommen hieß es, da sitzen bereits vier Damen seit halb Drei, die könne man nicht auffordern zu gehen. Doch, kann man, spätestens um 17 Uhr kann man höflich darauf hinweisen, dass der Tisch reserviert ist. Reservierungen werden dort also nicht ernst genommen.

Sehr schönes Café mit sehr freundlichem Service. Große Auswahl an Kuchen, die alle sehr lecker aussahen. Passend zum Thema Fontane ist auch der Innenraum gestaltet und auch die Rechnung wird Stilecht präsentiert. 👍😀 Hatte einen gelungenen Besuch und komme bestimmt wieder.

Unbedingt reservieren. Aber wenn ein Tisch frei wird... Netter Service und ein toller Koch. Essen kommt schnell und ist vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen.

Das Essen war zwar gut, allerdings stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Eine Cola kostet über 5€ und der kleine Beilagensalat 7,90€. Wir würden von einem Besuch abraten.

We found this place by chance and our lunch meal was so good, that we decided to come again for dinner. All ingredients are very fresh and good quality, and they know how to cook them well.

Also, wenn ich auf ganz hohem Niveau meckern will muss ich sagen, dass mein kleineres Stück Rinderfilet nicht rosa gebraten war… der Gorgonzolaschaum darunter war großartig, auch die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr lecker. Alkes war lecker. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Reservieren sollte man aber besser. Wir haben an unserem ersten Abend Glück gehabt. Empfehlung von mir. Gerne wieder!

Wonderful find in a small town on our current road-trip. We heard music in an otherwise sleepy village. Live classical guitar duo at this restaurant. Cozy garden dining. Friendly service and good food. The veggie bake with melted cheese was good. My pasta with spinach in a Gorgonzola sauce and steak strips was very good (though the pasta was slightly overcooked). But the dessert pancake with Apple sauce absolutely stole the show! Just like my Oma used to make.
