I come from the north of Germany and have been here twice, once by chance while passing through and once as a repeat offender. You feel right at home and the food is first class. Unique ambience (for Germany) and super friendly staff. Above all, it’s quick. I was there in winter, but if you're not primarily interested in the food but in the location, it's certainly a great location with the water ski facility next door!

Price-performance ratio is simply not right here… Unfortunately I can't recommend it

In the beer garden - on the terrace - right by the lake you can watch the water sports enthusiasts and enjoy your food 🤗 Staff super nice and quick 👍 There is no longer live music - therefore 1 point deducted. Wonderful burgers, wraps, salads and more. Even vegan and vegetarian burgers. Great restaurant and atmosphere. Always very happy.

My burger was great. There are fries included. Can be swapped for sweet potato fries for an additional charge. Well furnished inside and you can watch the water skiers on the terrace.

This is a burger and steak house, not the best I have ever been to, but quite good; especially considering the rather remote location. However, the view across the lake is stunning and the food is good. We enjoyed some rock live music. They appeared to be a little understaffed though.

Very nice restaurant, the decor is tasteful and similar to an American dinner. The great terrace faces a lake from where you can watch the water skiers. The burgers were super tasty. We enjoyed the evening and will definitely come back.

Oh my God it was so nice with you again. Your burgers and garlic fries... A poem... there's always good music playing and you can really hear something for everyone. In your decoration I always find something new and old 😜 your staff is always attentive and polite, they do a really great job.. and I had to take food with me and was thrilled by the good and, above all, sustainable packaging I got. Thumbs up for that too. Your location is really great, you feel comfortable and can still watch water skiing.. stay as you are.. like last year, we will often sit with you and enjoy whatever.

Unfortunately the burger was cold but tasted good. However, it is a shame if you ask for sweet potato fries instead of the standard side order of fries and then have to pay the entire extra charge and not just the difference. Getting a smile from the staff would have been nice too. Things used to be much better. Quality and price-performance - unfortunately we were there for the last time. A pity

wir waren mit 7 personen,ich als vorhut,um tisch zu reservieren,auf dem parkplatz vor dem lokal,roch es sehr stark nach alten fett,dieses der bedienung gesagt,nachdem sie erst ihre putzarbeiten beendet hatte-----ohne händewaschen----- und mich dann nach einem getränk fragte,nachdem ich ihr sagte,dass wir zu mittag essen wollte,wusste sie nicht,ob jemand in der küche ist und ob es überhaupt was gibt,da mittags kaum leute kommen--------mein kommentar,dass man doch da mal überlegen sollte,woran das liegt,und auch mit dem geruch vom alten fett,wurde nur " weggelächelt " sie sei neu hier und sie rieche nichts ( ich / freunde waren die einzigen gäste !

The dining room looks like an American diner. The terrace goes directly to Lake Hödenauer and you can watch the water skiers there. The service is very nice and the food is very tasty.

Steaks really very good, grilled vegetables brilliant. Salads are always beautifully prepared and plentiful. Only the coconut flakes in the chicken breading don't suit my taste 😁

The inside of the restaurant is mediocre anyway...outside you can eat right above the lake and watch the people water skiing. Food is super delicious. Service was very friendly and always asked questions. Recommendation!

It's a bit hidden but anyone who finds it will be pleasantly surprised. We really liked it. It's on a lake where water sports are done. I can recommend going there.

We were there for lunch while passing through. Smart restaurant with diner charm. Also has a nice terrace overlooking the lake. The food was good, the portions are really sufficient. Unfortunately my burger was already cold when it came to the table and I think another guest also complained about it. However, I think that due to the many cold components in the burger, the meat simply gets cold quickly. I didn't complain and ate it up nicely, but it was still tasty ;-) You can also go for a nice walk in the area and enjoy a bit of nature. A nice place!

After 10 minutes the waitress came to ask what we wanted to drink. After 15 minutes we finally got the wheat beer and iced tea. And all at 2:30 p.m.! The terrace is really very neglected, there is dirt and cobwebs hanging from the walls and the lights everywhere. It used to be a really nice place but can no longer be recommended. To pay, the waitress told us we had to pay at the bar. When we were at the bar, the lady at the back of the counter told us we had to wait for the waitress. So we will only pass on the best recommendations for you. It's your own fault if you go there

The Feelgood Restaurant invites you to linger with a beautiful terrace, and there are also many dining options. But for me the price-performance ratio is not right. An Aperol is advertised on the card as €7.50 and when paying, €2 was charged on top with the explanation that the customer had to expect this due to inflation.

We rented the entire restaurant and celebrated a birthday party with about 75 people. Champagne reception, burgers, salads, cakes, desserts and drinks were delicious and well prepared. The already very nice atmosphere was festively decorated and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had a lovely celebration and we also found the price-performance ratio to be extremely fair. A clear recommendation from us!

By chance we stopped here after the hike. The restaurant is decorated in American style. The staff is very friendly and on point. There is also a very nice lakeside terrace. We try the burgers 🍔. Brilliantly and lovingly prepared (high quality). We hadn't had such good burgers in a long time. Price + performance fits, you get a lot for it. We'll definitely be back.

To be honest, I don't understand all the positive reviews. I had a burger and it really wasn't good. However, I was hungry and ate. Anyone who has ever eaten a really good Ammystyle Burger will be able to confirm this. The fake toast cheese (or whatever) was really inedible. The whole burger was dripping with so much sauce and liquid cheese that my hands were completely full, including the plate. In winter you expect a restaurant to have a pleasant room temperature. We were ALL freezing. It wasn't heated. I would say it was around 19°. There is only ice-cold water in the toilets to wash your hands. Really bad. The service was friendly. Definitely won't be coming back, it's a shame because it's really well furnished with the style.

I had the pleasure of visiting Feelgood Restaurant and I loved the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes, all freshly prepared. I particularly recommend the burgers and the steaks, both of which were delicious. The portions are generous and the value for money is very good.

Ausnehmend authentisches Ambiente, leckere Burger, die nur hier so gut schmecken können! Als Wohnmobilist auf dem benachbarten Stellplatz stehend absolut empfehlenswert, ab 17.30Uhr geöffnet. Alles Gute für das Team!!!!

Essen war super, das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Beim Zubereiten vom Salat meiner Frau ist ein Stück vom Lachs Filet abgebrochen die Bedienung hat sich tausend Mal entschuldigt und das Getränk ging auf's Haus. Das Lachs Filet war aber perfekt gebraten. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist das Ambiente,ich kenne das Lokal schon sehr lange ca.15 Jahre da war es noch ein Italiener, die Wandfarbe ist immer noch die gleiche und die Terrasse gehören mal renoviert. Mit ein bisschen US Deco ist es nicht getan. Ich komme trotzdem wieder.

Waren zum ersten Mal da, auf eine Empfehlung. Der Hamburger (Ossi Osbourne), war einsame Spitze !! Sauteuer aber auch saugut ! Die Bedienung war ok. Der Schuppen originell, die Terrasse gut, Parkplatz vorhanden. Wer Hamburger mag und nicht auf den Preis schauen muss, der ist hier richtig 👍

Cooles Lokal! superleckere Burger in schönem Ambiente mit guter Musik gegessen. Werden uns den Zwischenstopp auf dem WomoStellplatz nebenan auf jeden Fall merken und gerne wiederkommen! Hier stimmt einfach Alles. Leider war’s zu kalt & nass für die schöne Seeterasse.

Gemütliche Terasse mit Seeblick, man kann den Wasserskifahrern zu gucken. Meist gut besucht, die Kellnerin ist immer gut gelaunt und flott aber nicht gestresst! Burger, Spareribs, viele Gerichte zur Auswahl, allgemein ein sehr vielfältige Speisekarte. Haben jetzt auch im Winter offen.

Ausblick auf den See ist top, Essen war sehr lecker und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich - sind auch auf extra Wünsche eingegangen.

Super Burger in gemütlichem USA Ambiente. Der Service war sehr gut, und auf das Essen mussten wir nicht lange warten. Reservierung ist Abends von Vorteil. Tagsüber kann in der Nähe am Hödenauer See gebadet werden. Sport mit Wakeboard und Wasserski kann auf der Anlage im See auch ausprobiert werden.

Wir waren in der Feelgood Rockstation da Ronny Nash gespielt hat. Das Lokal liegt schön am Hödenauer See mit Blick von der Terrasse auf den See und die Wasserskianlage. Das Lokal war erstaunlicherweise nicht voll. Die Terrasse locker besetzt, trotz Musik. Leider schaut es Personalmässig wie in vielen anderen Lokalen eher unterbesetzt aus. Eine Bestellung wurde erst nach 40 min Wartezeit aufgenommen. Interessanterweise war das bestellte Essen vor den Getränken am Tisch und eine Bestellung wurde vergessen und musste nachgefordert werden. Das Essen war okay und die Portionen haben auch gepasst - es ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Waren heute Nachmittag im Restaurant Feelgood, wo der Country Sänger Johnny Nash spielt … Sind rein um 16-00 Uhr und wieder raus um 16-25 weil wirklich kein Kellner oder Kellnerin sich für uns zuständig fühlte 🤷🏼‍♂️. Kein grüß dich, oder ich komme gleich zu euch , das lag wahrscheinlich an Johnny , so langsam wie der gespielt hat , so langsam hat das Personal gearbeitet, Chef vermutlich Quereinsteiger, bleibt bei euren leisten, dann gehts wieder ! Also auf der anderen Seite, also am Lift , wo wir dann hin sind, nachdem man uns total ignorierte, wurde uns nach 5 min eine wunderbar gekühlte Weinschorle kredenzt. Also es geht doch wenn man Ahnung von der Gastronomie hat …. Sorry aber mich seht ihr nie wieder …. Trotz allem wünsche ich weiterhin viel Erfolg 👍 Mit freundlichen Grüßen Andi …..

Einfach, guad, lecker, ganz eigenes Flair. Aber einfach fein. Guade Burger!!! Immer wieder. Wer es mal geradeaus mag, ist hier richtig.

Nachdem wir jetzt schon einige Male in dieser tollen Location waren, muss ich doch mal was schreiben. Es ist in der heutigen Zeit meines Erachtens nicht wirklich so, dass man durchgehend eine tolle nette freundliche Bedienung hat. Weiterhin ist natürlich auch zu erwähnen, dass das Essen hervorragend ist Und obwohl wir uns hier in einem Urlaubsgebiet befinden die Preise sich noch in einem vernünftigen Rahmen bewegen.

Insgesamt alles zu teuer, Service nett, ganz unverschämt: Weinschorle (0,25l) 6,90 € (angeblich Preise erhöht aufgrund der Inflation) - zu viel für uns!

Keine Ahnung, ob sich in der letzten Zeit was am Personal getan hat, aber ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Ich war in Kiefersfelden und bin am See rum geschlendert. Ich hatte nach einer 3-stündigen Fahrt und einem ausgiebigen Spaziergang Hunger. Also ging ich ins Feelgood. Schon alleine die Location lädt zum Längerbleiben ein. Eine überdachte Terrasse, direkt am See, eine Indoorlocation, die einzigartig ist und superliebe, kompetente Mitarbeiter. Ich bestellte ein Schnitzel mit Pommes. Es wurde alles frisch zubereitet und schmeckte dementsprechend lecker. Die Portion war voll ausreichend (bei den letzten Bissen hab ich schon gekämpft), Preis-Leistung absolut top. Ein Wohlfühlrestaurant für Biker, Sportler und Rockmusik-Liebhaber würde ich mal so behaupten. Ich bin sehr begeistert und wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin, werde ich wieder dort essen.

Hatten gestern Mittag für den Abend reserviert und eine Platz in erster Reihe am See bekommen, was natürlich mit Wasserskifahrern schon sehr unterhaltsam ist. Das ganze Lokal könnte mal wieder eine Aufwertung vertragen. Man merkt an einigen Stellen dass es doch schon sehr abgelebt ist. Hier immer mal wieder die eine oder andere Renovierung vornehmen, dann wäre es auf jeden Fall wieder ein absolutes Highlight. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient, eine Person mehr im Service hätte aber mit Sicherheit nicht geschadet. Wirklich zu empfehlen sind die hausgemachten Eistees zu einem TOP-Preis aber auch die anderen Getränkepreise sind im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Lokalen absolut im Rahmen. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte bestellt wie z. B. Fingerfood und Burger. Im großen und ganzen waren alle Speisen sehr gut, wenn die Burger jetzt auch noch richtig heiß und nicht nur lauwarm serviert worden wären, dann hätte ich beim Essen ein "Ausgezeichnet" vergeben. Im großen und ganzen ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Wir waren am Wochenende hier zu Gast. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zeit von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren war absolut schnell und sehr gut. Auch geschmacklich war alles wunderbar. Der Aufenthalt am Freitag auf der Terrasse mit Seeblick war natürlich einzigartig schön. Alles richtig toll, man muss dieses Lokal weiter empfehlen! Super und weiter so!

Mein Salat mit Lachsfilet (aka "Jimi Hendrix") war nicht essbar. Das erste Mal war der Fisch in der Mitte komplett noch durchgefroren. Auf meine Reklamation wurde prompt reagiert und das Gericht neu zubereitet. Das zweite Mal war der Lachs zwar mehr durch aber in der Mitte immer noch roh. Ich habe das Stück dann übrig gelassen und als die Kellnerin nochmals kam um zu fragen ob alles in Ordnung war, ihr den Fisch nochmal gezeigt. Mir wurde dann angeboten mein Essen von der Rechnung zu nehmen. Abgesehen davon war der Salat mehr Sauce als sonst was. Die getoasteten Baguettes waren kalt und weich, lagen also schon einige Zeit rum. Fazit: Unfähiger Koch, schlechtes Essen, netter Service.

Also mit das schlimmste in einem lokal ist, wenn ich ein Getränk bestelle möchte ich auch wissen wieviel drin ist und das geht leider nicht ohne Eichstrich. Wenn auf der Karte als Beilage zu einem Steak Rösti steht erwarte ich das auch und keine Kartoffelpuffer. Hier sollte man den Unterschied wissen als Gastronom. Anders als bei den Kommentaren davor war meine Kellnerin freundlich aber sehr langsam. Ohne das ich es genau weiß würde ich sagen das komplette Personal inclusive Chef ein kompletter Quereinsteiger. Was ich persönlich auch noch sehr schlimm finde, das mit sehr viel Geschmacksverstärkern gearbeitet wird oder fertig Produkte. Mein Fazit ist, es war nicht alles schlecht aber besuchen werde ich das Lokal nicht mehr.

Burgerbrötchen durchgeweicht. Salsa war keine Salsa sondern Chili Paste. Der dazubestellte Käse war eine fertige Käsesoße die nach Chemie schmeckt. Auf Anfrage hieß es der Chef würde das so wollen und nimmt keinen echten Käse her. Die bestellen Steak House Pommes gab es nicht mehr wurden aber genau wie die nicht gewünschte Käsesoße berechnet. Sehr enttäuschend. Auch die anderen Speisen wie die gemischte Finger Food Platte (ca 15€) haben uns enttäuscht. Nichts frisch, alles TK und der Krautsalat war ungenießbar. Das Lokal sieht uns nicht mehr

Wir waren hier beim Burger essen. Es war unser zweiter Besuch. Das Restaurant verfügt über einen großen, kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Von außen ist es eher unscheinbar. Innen ist es ansprechend mit allerlei U. S. Wahrzeichen eingerichtet. Das Restaurant war auch bei diesem Besuch fast leer. Wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse. Man hat dort einen schönen Bergblick mit See. Nebenan ist ein Wassersportverein. Die Bedienung war freundlich und das Essen und die Getränke sehr schnell. Wir konnten uns nicht beklagen. Essen war lecker, Service war schnell, Preise angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Chef wollte uns zu dritt einfach keinen Tisch geben. Es machte den Eindruck als ob er Spaß daran hätte, Leute abzuweisen, obwohl jede Menge Tische frei waren

Das Essen ist super lecker, die Portionen riesengroß. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und flott. Die Lage direkt am Hödenauersee ist sehr schön und mit super Blick.

Das Personal ist in Ordnung, der Chef geht gar nicht, wir wurden von ihm selber sehr schroff behandelt und er war sehr unhöflich zu uns, wir waren richtig vor den Kopf gestoßen, wir gehen nun auch nicht mehr dorthin, ich glaube, dort sind nur Rocker willkommen

Brilliant food and great service. We stumbled across the campsite after a long days drive in our motorhome. We spotted this place and thought we wold try it out. American style diner with American food the attention to detail is amazing and I thouroughly enjoyed the food! Will be back next time I am I germany

This restaurant opposite a water-skiing lake on the outskirts of Kiefersfelden and overlooking the Kaisergebirge. It is pretty much in a perfect location. The restaurant itself it decorated in the style of and American Highway bar or Fast food restaurant with a Music theme to it. It is done very well with the advertisements and decorations being original American. The service was reasonably quick and we had our drinks served to us within 5 minutes of being seated. The menu is quite large and offers a reasonable choice of Burgers Steak Chicken and Fish in various forms. My wife went for the recommended Pulled pork, or John Lee Hooker as it is known on the menu. She said she really quite enjoyed it even though it was a bit too soggy for her liking too. I tried her meal and found it really rather horrible, the texture of shredded pork in so much sauce not being to my liking at all. When the food arrived it looked very appetising, but then I tried to pick up the burger. The bun was so soft and soggy that the contents nearly fell out as there was that much sauce on it. The limp lettuce looked as if it had been out in the sun all day. The slice of tomato also looked very tired. The burger itself was tasty and obviously the taste was improved with the masses of sauce that had been applied. Please note that if you are worried about your sugar levels or calorie intake this is not the place for you to eat. I have got to add that the location is perfect and the restaurant itself is well done but the food was let’s say questionable. To cap it all with these 2 items and a couple of drinks from the menu we ended up paying 42 euros for essentially a couple of burger and chips with a drink. Just a bit overly expensive and certainly not worth that sort of money. Oh and also on the printed menu it advises that a tip of at least 10% on top of the final price should be given….a bit cheeky I would say….as we often give a lot more….but in this place the service certainly didn’t even warrant the extra 10%.

In view of the Kaiser Mountains and a clear view of the Hodenauer Lake, with its marvelous Wake Board towing attraction, I found a touch of home in the Bavarian Alps. Although we just settled for some nachos, the beer seemed to be the highlight served in marvelous glass mugs. Although we will miss the former LUDWIG'S, we will return for one of those huge American hamburgers this winter. Right now, it was a lighter fare for us at this, our closest neighborhood joint!
