Farina meets Mehl in Hamburg

An extraordinary team with a big heart!! Farina meets Mehl opened its restaurant on its Saturday lunch break especially for our group of orphans and half-orphans to bring joy to the children. The food was delicious, and the service, as always, was super friendly and professional. The Johannes Kuhn Foundation would like to express its sincere gratitude for this generous donation and for the team working for us in their free time. We will definitely be back regularly.

Delicious pizzas, young and friendly staff. The pizzas are homemade and have great toppings. The truffle pizza could use a touch of real truffle instead of just conveying the flavor through the oil. The bruschetta is similarly lacking in attention, resulting in a bland bread that doesn't complement the good flavor of the tomatoes. Since it's always busy, reservations are highly recommended. The music is so loud that it's almost impossible to have a conversation if you're with more than two people. The staff try their best, but are overwhelmed by a full restaurant and tend to mix up orders. The songs they play on the grand piano are drowned out by the rest of the restaurant, and you can't hear them at all in the back of the restaurant... It was all a bit too hectic and loud for me. I won't be coming again.

Unfortunately I made a mistake when making the reservation on the day. Nevertheless, everything was done to provide us with a table after a short wait. The staff was very accommodating, seemed very well organized and, despite the evening being fully booked, created an extremely relaxed atmosphere. The pizzas are incredibly fluffy and deliciously juicy, the base is thin - like a vacation in Italy!

We met for dinner with our team of 9 people and had reserved the large table. The service staff was super friendly and offered great service, the pizzas we ordered were served very quickly, hot and all at the same time. We had a good seat to watch the pizza freshly go into the oven and be baked. There is a great wine selection. I can recommend the pear and gorgonzola pizza and the homemade panna cotta for dessert.

Very attentive service, good pizzas and a modern atmosphere. During our visit it was very loud and conversations were difficult.

I had a vegan pizza and the cheese stuck between my teeth and unfortunately didn't taste good at all. But my friend liked the salami pizza.

Very tasty pizza, but no offers for children: The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the service is friendly and attentive, and the food - especially the pizza - is of a high standard. The only drawback: There is nothing for children: neither separate offers on the menu nor the option to order pizzas in smaller sizes. Unfortunately, young people do not feel welcome here.

The pizza tasted convincing – period. 😉 However, I would have expected more from a dish of burrata on salad (for just under €14) than a side salad with a mini burrata drowned in an overly salty dressing. There is definitely still room for improvement here. The location is modern and stylishly furnished - a clear sign of a good sense of detail. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive – thank you very much!

Supernette Pizzeria und Bar zum Wohlfühlen, angenehmes Ambiente mit kreativer Einrichtung, aber vor allem das gut besetzte (!) Team von freundlichem und sehr aufmerksamem Servicepersonal macht für mich den Unterschied. Gut gemixte Cocktails, eine wohl ausgesuchte Weinliste und köstliche Pizza aus dem Steinkohleofen sind ein Genuss. Ob alles kulinarisches Intro für den Theaterabend oder ein umfangreicheres Menü, ich komme immer gerne hier her. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Exceptional and delicious pizzas! The three of us ate at Farina during the week. The store is very busy, which is why a reservation is definitely recommended. The restaurant is very nicely furnished and decorated with many details. (You always find something new). Only the acoustics are difficult when it's full. There is a small but exceptional selection of pizzas on the menu. Everyone should be able to find something. The pizza was delivered to the place in no time. The taste is really very good. The dessert (panna cotta), however, didn't convince me. The pep or extra taste was missing. The service was on point and implemented all orders without any problems. All in all, the restaurant is highly recommended.

Super delicious food in a wonderful atmosphere

We came here for a dinner with friends on a weekday evening. After being greeted by a friendly member of staff we were shown to our table. We shared four starters, which were very good. I also liked the bread, which was pointing to the fact that this is a restaurant that clearly focuses on the quality of their pizza. We then shared three pizzas among us four, which made for a great meal with lots of variety. I cannot compliment the pizza dough enough! I especially liked the fluffy yet crispy crust. For dessert, I tried the affogato, which was also available with decaf coffee and which I really liked due to the good quality of the vanilla ice cream. All in all, I enjoyed the visit very much and would definitely recommend to come here. Make sure to take out a reservation if you want to be sure, they seem to get full quickly!

We had already reserved a table for 7 people online at the end of September for Boxing Day and also received a confirmation by email! Today on December 21st. We are informed that they have to cancel our reservation because they are apparently not open. What poor organization and terrible service! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

A very appealing ambience, simple but very high quality and delicious dishes. The perfect place for a dinner for two, but also for spending an evening with friends in an atmospheric atmosphere. What was noticeable during my visit was a waitress who was very well informed about the dishes and who underlined the sophisticated ambience with competence. It's nice when you feel so welcome as a guest in the inn.

The menu is small and the only food available is pizza. The selection here is very good and the pizza tastes totally convincing! The dough is thin, the crust is thick, you almost feel like you're in Italy. The atmosphere is cozy and chic, but the prices are completely reasonable. The employees are courteous, but not annoying. The topping is definitely more exciting than what you normally get in other pizzerias: beef or truffles etc. and quite generous. So there is no dry edge left on the plate... I celebrated my birthday with 70 guests at Farina meets Mehl. The guests came from France, Switzerland and all corners of Germany and all agreed: fantastic location, excellent food and service that was great! Even the oldest guest said: “I have never experienced anything so cool in my entire life!” It was all so uncomplicated and easy - best party location in Hamburg! Special thanks to Farzam and Mo - with their experiences and ideas they made the celebration the best birthday party of my life!

Were on October 10th. spontaneously in HH and had easily reserved a table online the day before. Worked great. The ambience from the outside is a kind of industrial hall. Inside, the restaurant is also industrial style with a bit of 30s glamour, and there is also a piano in the room. Very cool combo. The kitchen is centrally located and can be seen through glass. The nice thing about it is that you can see whether the kitchen is just opening cans or cooking with love. There are 2 people whirling around in the kitchen, one primarily working on the pizza oven, the other more on appetizers. A well-rehearsed team without the usual, rough tone in the kitchen and, above all, the hectic pace, even though it was prime time at around 8 p.m. The menu focuses on the essentials - pizza. Plus a few starters and desserts. So you know clearly what will be there and what won't be. In terms of price, everything is in the middle price segment. The service was outstanding. Unobtrusive recommendations when he realized you can't decide. Recommendations for things not on the menu. Plenty of bread for the starters, garlic and chili oil at every table. Also honest questions about whether it was tasty, including listening. And the food was always lovingly prepared, the pizza was authentic and not from a pizza pan. All in all, a round and very, very tasty thing! Even two hungry teenagers get full and are happy. 5 out of 5. Two notes to the restaurant: - In addition to garlic and chili oil, you could also have normal olive oil and salt at the table, then you won't smell quite as bad the next day... - According to the menu, the panzanella was supposed to be made with fresh tomatoes (that's actually how I know the recipe), but pickled tomatoes were used. It wasn't tragic, it still tasted very good, it's just a deviation from the menu.

The pizza at Farina Meets Mehl was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant itself looks classy and stylish inside, but still creates a relaxed atmosphere in which you can easily eat the pizza with your hands. The garlic oil, which goes perfectly with pizza, is particularly recommended. The special thing about the pizza: an airy edge, thin dough and enough toppings that luckily don't get soggy. Even the pure dough was a pleasure. A great place for pizza lovers!

An exceptional restaurant with delicious food and drinks. The service was very attentive and friendly. The ambience is very special thanks to the mirrored wall. However, if you're not a pizza fan, the memory card will be a bit lacking.

My wife wanted a pizza. We drove here spontaneously and I have to say the trip is worth it. First, a very important aspect, is the parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is really nice inside. There was a lot of thought put into it. The service is great. The service staff were very friendly, quick and always asked at the right time if we needed anything. We thought that was good. The pizzas were awesome. I can recommend. We had a mozzarella pizza and a truffle pizza with champions. There were also two drinks and a bottle of water that the waiter recommended to us, which tasted very good. The only downside I found was at the end. We wanted to pay and to do that we should go to the front, which is totally fine. Unfortunately, this is also the entrance where people come in and leave and the passage to the counter. The short waiting time was ok, but for a moment I felt like I was in a bazaar because it was so crowded at the checkout. There may be a need for optimization. Otherwise, a really nice restaurant that I can really recommend. Addendum 10 months later. The pizzas aren't pizzas, they're art. Insanely delicious. This time I was here with my mother, who is not really a big pizza fan, but when she saw the pizzas she said that she would change her mind. We also now had a truffle pizza and a mortadella pizza. Both are a pleasure for the eyes and the palate. See pictures. Oh yes, the basement is the same and super awesome. Super accommodating, nice, friendly and attentive. For a family celebration, I reserved a table about 2 weeks in advance for 10 people and 4 children between the ages of 1 and 11. Unfortunately, we found this restaurant to be very poorly organized. I had asked in advance whether it would be possible to sit outside in good weather, this was answered in the affirmative and a high level of flexibility was assured. It was an 11-year-old's birthday and I asked him to make his place something special, for example a candle or something similar. We first had to look for the promised children's chair, I wanted him at the table I was told they were making this for my birthday. We need a high chair for the baby. Since some guests still had a long drive ahead of them after the meal, I reserved the table early for 6 p.m. and all the guests had decided on a dish in advance. I informed the "farine meets flour" of this a few days in advance, so that There should be good planning on their part and there shouldn't be too long of a wait for us. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was wonderful summer weather, we noticed that there was no place reserved for us outside. The place intended for us was next to a giant screen, there was football on, very unsuitable for a birthday with small children and a family celebration, it wasn't one Good entertainment possible. There was a very noisy group of soccer players sitting at the next table. It was in no way the child's birthday place, which was promised to me. After we complained, we were told that it had not been noted that way. Since we can't do anything about the non-functioning internal communication, we asked to organize another place. We were told that it wasn't possible, that everything was reserved, as if we hadn't done this in detail days in advance. After about 3/4 hours we were offered another seat, but we couldn't sit together. The announced starters were no longer requested. The pizzas, which had already been selected in advance, arrived promptly. They were quite tasty but not that special, the outside was very thick dough, you have to like that. This restaurant was a tip from friends, unfortunately the organization for us as a group was dismal. We will not recommend it to others if the organist will not come back. There is a lot of room for improvement in the organization

I ate at Farina a few times and it was great every time. The pizza tastes delicious, the service is friendly and the wine is great too! Unfortunately, the meal takes a bit long and the chili and garlic oil have a bit of a lack of flavor. Otherwise: very nice and pleasant. Unfortunately I forgot to take photos.
