Fadi Food in Berlin

We were very excited and full of anticipation because of the advance praise. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met, neither by the ambiance, with uncomfortable chairs and somewhat cramped tables, especially on the upper floor, nor by the food. While it was acceptable, not entirely convincing, for example, with the side dishes. What bothered us most, however, was that we were served lukewarm food on rather battered stoneware plates and bowls. The tap water (filtered), which was offered for a fee, was also not to our taste. We would have preferred mineral water for health reasons. The second helping offered, which we took, was nice, but unfortunately, despite the warning, it was again only lukewarm. Perhaps the battered dishes and the low-temperature food are intended to promote sustainability, but for us, it was an overall disappointing experience.

Great steaks, great sides, great service. Exactly what I expect from a upscale steak restaurant, no nonsense and no pretentiousness. I like that the Brooklyn is exactly that. The food is at the center of the experience, and it does not disappoint. Bonus points for a great U.S.A. wine selection, which can be harder to get in Berlin restaurants. If you want a great steak without any pretentiousness’s, this is the place to go

It was indescribably bad. The goulash is totally sour, like 25% cleaning vinegar. The bread dumplings were completely dry, like dry toast stuck together. The plaice fillets are ready from the package with finger-thick breading. The apricot schnapps as compensation, an indefinable sweet broth, liqueur?

We wanted to spend a nice evening with friends in the bar, we've been there a few times before, but this time we were very disappointed. The food was mediocre, the service (even though there were very few people at ZAZA) very slow. At half past 11 we were asked to pay, even though the bar was supposed to be open until midnight - a shame, but we won't be coming back.

The rice was the best part of the whole meal. There were bones and indefinable pieces in the butter chicken. The salad was stale and the nan bread was more like a dry cake than anything else.
