Nice ambience, very friendly staff and very good food 👍

The selection was extensive, very tasty, and the beautifully prepared dishes were also a feast for the eyes! The buffet was well organized and constantly replenished. There was truly something for everyone! The table service was also friendly and, above all, attentive. We would love to celebrate another birthday here!

We visited the Factory restaurant in Dorsten, and unfortunately, our visit was a disappointment. The buffet costs €37 per person – a price that's well above average. Soft drinks (0.4 l) cost a whopping €5, although the glass didn't even reach the 0.4-liter mark. For this high price, we expected reasonable quality and selection, but we were disappointed: The food was far too fatty and extremely salty, so much so that we ended up wanting more to drink than we could eat – which, of course, is doubly bitter considering the drink prices. Added to this was the complete lack of air conditioning inside – it was unbearably hot, almost like a sauna, and everyone was sweating. Overall, the value for money was not at all good. We won't be back and can't recommend the restaurant.

We were able to sit outside, which was very comfortable. Great buffet, friendly, attentive staff. The buffet was constantly replenished.

So, essentially, not much has changed in the seven years before my last visit, except that the prices have risen significantly. Well, at the lunch buffet, you get a lot, so you have to weigh things up beforehand, of course. We'll see how things develop in the next few years, but for now, it's been enough for me 😀

Too much pork! Too little choice of fish, beef, or poultry! Mostly dry food, few dishes... Nice ambiance, pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, but that was all... €40-50 per person was definitely a bad decision.

The quality of the food has never disappointed us. A great selection, so there's something for everyone. The service is also really good, whether it's drinks or clearing up.

We were there for the first time yesterday. The food was plentiful and delicious. But the service isn't so good. When you order drinks, it takes a long time to get them, and unfortunately, they're warm. The price you have to pay for drinks there is almost outrageous. Unfortunately, I have to say that the taste was by far the worst I've ever had (Frozen Lemon), almost unbearably sour. Verdict: Food 5/5 Service 1/5 Drinks 0/5

We've been to Dorsten several times, and it's rare to find such friendly staff. The food is incredibly plentiful, and there's truly something for everyone.

We were there with a toddler and a child in a wheelchair. The staff tried very hard and was always courteous. We will definitely come back again.

There were four of us there and we only went because it was crowded in Bottrop. We had to order from three different waitresses. There was lipstick residue on the glass, but it was replaced. We were able to choose clean plates ourselves. The place wasn't particularly busy either. The place only serves pork, and they don't take any consideration for people who don't eat pork. This is the first review I've ever written, and I'm beyond disappointed. We'll definitely never be back. I'll take a photo as proof that we were there.

Of course, a buffet is meant to be filling, but I've never seen such a large selection of truly fresh and, at times, elaborate dishes. Everyone will find something here, from the grumpy grandmother to the vegetarian granddaughter. The only (personal) disappointment was that there wasn't much Greek food to choose from, but that could also have been due to the Thursday special featuring German cuisine (including excellent cabbage rolls).

Everything was cold. Sometimes it had no flavor. Only half a liter. The service was nice and friendly. 👍For the price, it would have been better to go somewhere else for this food.

The food and drinks are perfectly priced. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is plentiful, delicious, and there's something for every taste. Perhaps the tables are a bit too close together for privacy. We had a lovely evening and would happily return.

We're regulars at Atlantis Dorsten and were feeling a bit hungry yesterday. The Factory had been on our wish list for a long time, so we spontaneously added it to the "guest list." To cut a long story short... We were absolutely thrilled, from the reception to the service to the restrooms. You've definitely gained some satisfied regulars. Even the trip from Dortmund is worth it.

Delicious buffet and good selection

Very tasty food, large selection of dishes with something for everyone. Soft drinks are included in the price, but the glasses are too large; 0.2 glasses are long. It could have been better to try a different drink as you can hardly open the 0.5 glasses. Small improvement: the food could be a little warmer. Overall, very satisfied. Friendly staff, no waiting time for the table, everything went smoothly. A lovely buffet; everyone in Dorsten should definitely try it. Everyone will find something delicious.

The quality of the food doesn't come close to that at Factory Bottrop.

Hats off, you have to be able to do that☝🏻. Night of Industrial Culture at the Leopold mine, hundreds of people, a great atmosphere, a very well-attended event, hardly any seats available, and what is Factory Dorsten doing??? Closing at 10 p.m.!!! Cashing in on the packed beer garden and calling it a day!!! Unbelievable!!! Even after the fireworks, a few people still tried to sit down there, but well, the boss must have had better things to do... I'd rather go somewhere else.

Little to no Greece, but very expensive. Basically mass-produced. A real shame.

Highly recommended! We went there on a Friday for the Greek/American buffet. At first, we thought €35 was waaaaay too expensive—yes, it is expensive—but the selection is gigantic AND ALL the food was incredibly delicious (soft drinks were included in the price). So it's definitely worth it! Everything was absolutely amazing, and the service was consistently friendly, prompt, and efficient. We will definitely be back. Complaining. Unfortunately, you only get food here 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Simply fantastic, the food was excellent quality, the best gyro ever, and the desserts are divine. There were six of us, which isn't something you can afford very often. However, it was a very nice evening and definitely worth it.

We regularly visit the Factory in Dorsten (we've been to Bottrop too, but Dorsten is just so much nicer). Given the amount of food, it's hard to really rate the food in detail; some people like this, others like that! But there's something for everyone! We like it! Important insight from our side: The Greek buffet is great, and to be honest, we like it even better than the regular (which isn't to say the regular is bad!). The service is great! Nice! And you're often asked if everything's okay and if you want something to drink. The atmosphere is nice, tidy, and clean. I deducted one point because of the noise (perhaps you have to expect it), but I didn't want to leave it unmentioned. We'll always recommend you, and we'll see you! Update: I'm deducting a star because it's already become ridiculously expensive! And we're no longer using it wisely.

I thought it was/is simply nothing special and very expensive to boot. The meat was a bit dry for me.

My first time there, and I'm absolutely thrilled! There were nine of us, and everyone loved it. Everything was super fresh, delicious, and there was a huge selection for everyone. From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious. I've rarely had such good food at a large buffet. So, kudos to the chefs. The ambiance is also lovely, just very warm. The service is very friendly, and there's nothing to complain about here either. I highly recommend it; it's worth it!

It was a truly lovely evening. We sat outside, and it was very cozy. The food was simply fantastic. There was a huge selection: hamburgers, spare ribs, beef, salads, potatoes, fries, etc.—something for everyone. And dessert was not to be missed either: from soft-serve ice cream, mango cream, jelly, to apple crumble, there was a fantastic selection. The service and ambiance were also great.

The food is perfectly fine for a buffet restaurant—rich in variety, well-prepared, and mostly delicious. It's not always possible to satisfy every taste, but there are alternatives for everything. The staff is exceptionally friendly and customer-oriented. The space is fine, but it's very loud when the place is full—which is almost always.

I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, there's a tendency to overeat 😂 but even though everything is so delicious 🤩 it's your own fault.

The four of us ate at Factory Dorsten for the first time on my birthday. The very varied, constantly refilled, and extensive buffet, along with the very attentive, friendly service, far exceeded our expectations. It was an all-around successful evening in a pleasant atmosphere. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Best experience in a long time!

Compared to Factory Bottrop, there's less choice, but still plenty to choose from. You can't try everything. We were there with 8 people, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I had shrimp, various meat dishes, and all sorts of vegetables—all truly delicious. And what a tzatziki 👍🏼 Be sure to leave room for dessert!!! It was a bit noisy at times, but that's hard to avoid given the buffet setup and the size of the room. The staff was friendly, and the plates were always cleared quickly.

The food is really good, but there are few non-pork options. We weren't asked what we wanted to drink until 20 minutes later, and the goulash and vanilla sauce, for example, weren't as strong as they might be, but they were rather lightly seasoned.

Gigantic buffet with very tasty meat. Plus livecocking with delicious burgers and grilled meat. In addition, many different cold dishes in Greek style. Nice service. Quiet ambience in comparison. What bothered me were the wooden chairs, which were very hard. The price is fair at 40 euros including soft drinks. The only thing that bothered me about the menu was that, as a teledrinker, there was only peppermint tea. Otherwise the drinks menu is very extensive for a sports bar

Been there for the first time. Always heard a lot about it before... I have to say that we were absolutely positively surprised. Food is really TOP. What really struck us as VERY positive was the STAFF! There is nothing to complain about here. We were greeted very warmly at the entrance. Everyone was always very nice and always attentive. That's what you always wished for!!! Really great. If I had to complain about something... Personally, I would like the spare ribs to be a little more tender. They tasted really great. I would have liked the meat to be more tender... so that you could pull the bones out with your fingers. But here really, taste was top. Unfortunately a bit far from us... but definitely not our last visit. Were there as a family. Son (10) Everyone is thrilled ;-)

Very nice and friendly staff, the food at the buffet was plentiful and large, but sometimes very nutritious and filling. It is advisable to exercise restraint and try out something to taste. The mini hamburger is sufficiently sized, the meat is a matter of taste, dark and firm, I think it was vegan... not my thing. Dessert was top notch... of course with soft ice cream at the end. Oh yes, because of the open grill and food, you can smell it on your clothes and body where you were.

Personally, the buffet is just not worth the money to me. The things somehow all taste a little strange and not “made with love”. You can definitely try out the buffet in Dorsten and Bottrop, but I won't necessarily eat here often. But the staff is super nice! 5 stars for that.

I can fully recommend the Factory! The only disadvantage is that there is only a buffet! But there is a huge selection for young and old (even cotton candy)
