The benches are too low and older people have difficulty getting up.

The old "Lohnhalle" has been transformed into a fantastic place; the service was super friendly and helpful. The food selection was excellent, with something for everyone from appetizers to dessert, and it tasted absolutely delicious. The steaks were freshly prepared right on the grill. Everything was absolutely top-notch. There was nothing to complain about. Even with a drive of over an hour, we'll definitely be back. Simply fantastic.

Simply amazing! We drove 1.5 hours from Bielefeld just to eat there. It was our first time, and we didn't regret it.

We spent a wonderful evening here, with a great atmosphere and truly delicious food. Everyone found something to their liking. Everything is easily accessible, even for walkers and wheelchairs. The waiters were immediately available to assist with any requests, and we received our drinks promptly. The buffet was constantly restocked, so we never lacked anything. We would definitely be happy to come back.

We received a warm welcome and thoroughly enjoyed the evening in a beautiful setting with delicious food. The staff is attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive. The buffet selection is huge, yet everything is fresh and soooo delicious. Be sure to save room for dessert! Unfortunately, you do get full at some point. The price/performance ratio is perfect for us, as the quality is simply outstanding! We give the Dali an "A+"!

I have to honestly say that since you've been to many buffet restaurants, you tend to have your preconceived ideas, but whether it's the atmosphere or the service, you'll be completely surprised by the opposite. The food alone is prepared with so much love and passion, whether it's the open kitchen or the huge selection on the buffet. I'm thrilled. I'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the old canteen isn't for us. We prefer the restaurant. It's also very warm in the hall in summer. We've been to Dali several times and are always impressed by the buffet. We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely delicious and worth it, something for everyone

It only has a limited connection to authentic Italian or Spanish food. In my opinion, the price of €39.90 per person plus drinks is too high. I paid over €60 for myself. For that, you only get small plates of cake and you have to leave every five minutes. The nice lady at the steak grill unfortunately doesn't cook the steaks to perfection; she cuts the meat into strips and puts them back on the grill. I tried to explain to her that the steak was already done as it was and she didn't need to grill it again. But she didn't seem to understand me. I thought the starters were good. After that, however, things went downhill rapidly. Yes, I know, everything is getting more expensive, but I'll save myself the almost €40.

Great ambience and very good food

We went to Dali for the first time with good friends. We all really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was super nice. It was something different from what we're used to...we were even able to have a conversation at a normal volume even though the place wasn't empty. The food is highly recommended. Everything is fresh and the food is always quickly replenished, so there's plenty of everything. The service staff is attentive and courteous. We had an all-around lovely evening with excellent food and will definitely return.

The food is good, the staff is friendly. The ambiance, the outside space, is very well done. The large room behind it is okay, but it lacks the Spanish touch. Okay, you don't know how limited you are because of the renovations. It's a shame that it's not obvious from the outside that it's Dali; a sign would have been nice. But overall, we were satisfied, and for once, it's a restaurant that stands out from the rest. We'll be back.

Very good selection, the choice is difficult, you can't try everything.

This was our first time at this buffet restaurant and we were completely satisfied with the variety and quality of the food. Attentive and friendly service rounded off our evening at Dali. We would be happy to return.

Personally, I don't like the food. We go here because my father really likes the food there and appreciates the selection. The dessert is always very good. The freshly cooked food is also good. The buffet is always refilled quickly. Overall, I don't think the price of the food is reasonable. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Everything is just fine. I also think the interior of the restaurant definitely needs an overhaul. Especially the small room where you can also sit. It looks very shabby overall, especially the bookshelves. It's incredibly loud, and if more than three people are wearing perfume, you can't taste your food anymore. Also, a few people come out of the escape room on the upper floor and squeal. There's also a banner for pre-sales for 2022. The place has so much potential, but it's not being used. Something really great could happen here. But hey, the people of the village seem to like it. I just think that if you want to attract more customers from outside the village community, you would have to improve the food significantly.

Unfortunately, I didn't get any information about the kitchen's operations, so I only discovered the hot dishes from the grill after dinner. But the tapas were good.

If I lived nearby, they'd have me as a guest more often. Unfortunately, I don't. If you want it to be worth it, you have to be hungry, like at any other buffet. Otherwise, you won't be able to try everything. It's very tasty, with a huge selection of hot and cold dishes. Since I was invited, I can't comment on the prices. I reserved a table well in advance.

The buffet is very inviting, with a great selection and delicious tapas. The grill buffet is very good. Despite the buffet, there are no long lines, and the food is constantly being replenished. Even at 9:30 p.m., the buffet is still well-stocked. I especially like the extensive fish buffet; there's so much to choose from and everything is deliciously prepared. The staff is also very attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious, even for those who don't eat Spanish. The desserts were incredibly delicious. At the end, you need a truck to get out.

Two of us were there on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The service was friendly. There was a large buffet with Spanish and Italian specialties. Unfortunately, the food tasted very bland. The flavor wasn't authentically Spanish or Italian. Perhaps we should have gone to a proper, exclusively Spanish or Italian restaurant. Additionally, the plates were very small. We could barely put anything on them and often had to run back and forth to get food. Is this intentional? Is it an attempt to train customers to eat less?! Given this, the €85 we paid for two people was unjustified.

After a 50km journey, I was a bit confused by the parking lot at my destination. It seemed quite small for the location. However, it quickly became apparent that I was directed to a side parking lot, and a much larger one was still available. Compared to other restaurants in the chain, the DALI is smaller. There was no wait, and the reserved table was available immediately. The buffet offers a wide selection, although it was significantly smaller than at the Factory in Bottrop. The food was mostly delicious. The service was good and quick. There was little wait time for drinks. For me, it was a worthwhile experience.

The service and selection were excellent again! We'll be back again.

My husband and I visited Dali for the first time today, May 16, 2025. We used it to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary and were surprised by the variety of the buffet. Everything was excellent and we enjoyed it very much. We would happily recommend it to our friends and will definitely go again.

Very nice friendly staff. The plates were always cleared promptly and drinks were refilled. In terms of taste, Dali Dorsten is the best Spanish restaurant I've eaten at so far. We were definitely not there for the last time.

The restaurant is located in the middle of a beautiful old industrial culture, with seating inside and outside. The service was simply great, very friendly and attentive. The food tastes very good and has a wide selection. All in all, a trip to Dorsten that is worthwhile and, above all, ideal for beautiful summer days. Directly opposite there is a large sandpit with play options for the kids. In any case, it wasn't the last time we were there 😉👍

We had a really delicious and particularly good meal there. The service is also really good and friendly. The selection at the buffet is impressive and everything tastes really good. The only points I deduct are for the cleanliness of the toilets. The toilet itself was clean but everything around it was really unkempt. (walls, pipes, baseboards, etc.) But we'd love to come back.

Personally, I've rarely eaten so badly for too much money... It's better to go to the blue lake and eat much better there for less money!

I've been enjoying eating there for a few years now, both with friends and family who weren't familiar with the restaurant before. Everyone was very satisfied. It's super easy to make reservations online, and you get a very quick response. In my opinion, the food is of high quality, it tastes great, and they make sure your drinks are refilled promptly. I've found that it's a good idea to leave enough room for dessert. 😉 The selection is really great. The service is friendly and attentive. Personally, I find it a bit of a shame that they only offer Pepsi soft drinks and small sizes. Of course, that's a matter of taste! However, I would find Coca-Cola, Fritz Cola, or Afri Cola much cooler. 😎 But that's just a side note. In summary, you can have a great culinary time at Dali. 👍

Very good food but a bit expensive

All of us (5 people) loved the food, the staff and chefs were super friendly and great fun. It was always refilled quickly. We've eaten tapas many times but this restaurant topped them all with the buffet of Spanish and Italian. Congratulations, all you can do is spread the word. Kind regards and see you next time.

The food was once again great and the selection was hard to beat.

Four of us went to DALI in Dorsten and were thrilled. Rarely have we tasted such a varied buffet. Everything was very tasty and warm food was always refilled. Both the cold and warm dishes were well seasoned to our liking. The desserts were so delicious and the small portions meant you could try different ones. The atmosphere in the customs hall was very cozy and the service was very friendly and open to questions about the history of the customs hall. We will recommend you and will definitely come back. We visited this restaurant for the first time in January and have been coming here really regularly since then. For us the absolute best restaurant 🫶 The service is really bomb 100 percent attentive, and the food doesn't get any better for us. The ambience is simply great. (old mine site) Really great concept. Great old industrial walls. Several restaurants. We were greeted warmly and escorted to the table. Procedures were explained and drinks were served. The buffet is second to none. Very rich and varied. The staff was absolutely top, really good. Very, very friendly and attentive! I think we'll be back!

Food is okay overall. There's basically nothing wrong with going there. At times there was a great need for meat and the shops were empty. The vegetables are quite soaked or too fatty. But we were there quite late. The beef that is freshly prepared there is really recommended. Desserts are good too.

Update: After the visit, I unfortunately experienced severe gastrointestinal problems. Whether there is a connection with the food cannot be said for sure - but I would like to mention it for the sake of completeness. The Dali offers an impressively diverse selection of dishes - from tapas to pasta, there is something for everyone. Unfortunately, the quality varied: While some dishes were solid, other hot dishes were only lukewarm at the table. Unfortunately, the pasta made from the Parmesan wheel was disappointing - it was far too oily and, in terms of consistency, it had been kept in the cheese wheel for a long time rather than freshly tossed. However, a real no-go was the hygiene situation on the fruit plate: A child repeatedly reached into the display with his bare fingers, each time under the supervision of an adult who made no attempt to intervene. When I asked a waiter about it - who even observed the situation himself - he promised to pay attention. However, instead of speaking to the family or exchanging the fruit, he poked around helplessly with the tongs. It's a shame because, to be honest, it was just disgusting. The atmosphere in the large hall seems rather cool and restless. A romantic evening for two was hardly possible there, especially since we unfortunately couldn't move to the quieter side room - there were probably no tables for two there. The loud Spanish dance music and the regularly appearing escape room groups, who stood in the gallery like extras from a very confused play, rounded off the acoustically and visually rather hectic experience. The friendly welcome and the service at the table should be positively highlighted - you felt like you were in good hands here.

I wouldn't take it again for the price. But that's a matter of taste, the food wasn't generally bad.

Rich, varied buffet, for starters, main courses and dessert. Additionally live cooking. There are no large quantities of anything in the buffet, but it is always refilled quickly. The quality surprised me more than positively for a buffet. The waitresses are attentive, very friendly and quick. Price for the evening was absolutely reasonable. Only the entrance could be made a little more obvious; at first we thought it was a side exit to the terrace.

We were with four people. First of all, a nice atmosphere, at least in the anteroom, you come in at the entrance and walk straight towards the bar/reception. You are immediately greeted in a very friendly manner by smiling employees. To the left of the bar there is a smaller denier room, where the overall volume was nice and quiet to medium volume. Directly opposite the entrance is a door that leads into a large room and therefore also to the buffet and further seating. To the right/diagonally opposite the bar there is another station where you can get freshly prepared pasta. The only real drawback that could be mentioned are the drinks. Everything is only offered in 0.2 to 0.33 l, which brings with it the annoying habit of having to order a drink every ten minutes, disturbs the atmosphere a little and is not necessarily because you want to save money, because if you count €2.60 for 0.2 l, you're probably also counting around €5 for 0.5 l. It's just that after one sip you felt like the glass was already empty. About the food: As described, traditional Spanish/Italian cuisine, some tapas but also warm dishes. Unfortunately, I was missing a bit more choice here, which is why I got one star less (I know, it's easier said than done, but in the large room, not all of the space was used, which was still separated by curtains), but what was there was very tasty and was always replenished (completely). The meat was super tender, the seafood was cooked to perfection and there was simply nothing wrong with the dessert. Toilets: It took a lot of getting used to because the women's toilet was basically open to the men's and so you can hear everything there (perhaps unpleasant for some people). But very clean! Service: All employees were very friendly and accommodating.

The food is and remains simply great. Lots of choice and delicious food. The ambience with the old hall is simply charming. The only time you shouldn't have a table at the entrance is when it's cold. Unfortunately there is always a draft when the door opens and closes!

At first we didn't get an appointment, then suddenly we got one at 8 p.m.! Arrived 15 minutes early! Surprisingly, there are still many places available… Well, the buffet wasn't anything special. Things had been there for a while and were already there pretty dry! That's just how it is when the first guests arrive come at 4 p.m., then nothing really gets added at the end... All in all, the price is for this quality €40 is just way too high!! But luckily the staff was very nice and the location is exceptional!
