Iskender was very tasty and filling, it was extra nice that it came in a copper plate.

I had the food delivered. 1. Lentil soup: It was okay, but definitely only average, unfortunately. It was rather too runny; it could have been thicker. The bread tasted very fresh, although the crust could have been crispier. 2. Köfte sandwich: The köfte were very tasty, and the salad was still quite fresh considering the time (evening). Overall, the portion size was good, so you'll be satisfied if you're hungry. The bread was tasty but could be crispier, for example, toasted. I would have liked a choice of sauce to season it, as it gets a bit bland after a while. Perhaps you can get one if you eat in, but I can't say for sure.

As for the kebab, I give it 5 stars because it's unique, unlike any other. You have to try it! The Adana, however, was average, as were the toppings. We'll come back for something different, as they have seasoned steak meat.

Today at 17:35 I ordered lahmacun and döner and the person working at the döner stand there asked who makes the lahmacun and said it would take 15 minutes due to the crowd and I paid and started to wait and in total 37 minutes passed and when I asked them they said it was crowded inside even though I ordered before other customers who came in and when I asked why they don't serve mine while the lahmacun is being served inside, they gave me mocking answers like they said it was hazelnut lahmacun or something. This behavior is absolutely not right and I don't think it is right for the employees to discriminate between customers inside and outside. That's why I give it one star and I definitely do not recommend it.

First, a word about myself: anyone who knows me personally knows I'm very critical when it comes to food. Despite all the bad reviews, we came here today to see for ourselves. And yes, the doner kebab is small and you don't get much sauce, but you get a juicy doner kebab of a special kind here – made entirely of meat! I had one with garlic and hot sauce. Guys, the meat is amazing. Honestly, I usually prefer my doner with sauce, but next time I'll get one without sauce, just with chili powder, maybe some sumac and lemon. The extra seasoning at the end isn't really necessary. And again, the meat has a more robust flavor than I'm used to, except perhaps at your place. But of course, that's always a matter of taste. For me, it's 10/10, simply amazing. Yes, €6 for a small doner kebab sounds like a lot, but it's completely justified. Because one thing no one can deny: Ehli-Kebap is a high-quality doner kebab. You can see the texture of the meat. Absolutely fantastic. Just one thing, they could make the bread a bit thinner ;) Next, to the haters: I didn't notice any rudeness here, quite the opposite. It was our first time there, and we experienced the well-known Turkish hospitality by being offered a complimentary tea. Thank you so much, and see you very soon! I can't comment on the meat yet. I'll do that soon. So, dear readers, go and see for yourselves. I've had so many disappointments because of overhyped places, especially sushi restaurants. Most of the people there have no clue, and the ambiance is more important to them than the food. By the way: many of the negative reviews seem to be fake; there are very few reviews written. Update: Today we tried Iskender and Dürüm Döner. Next time, we'll try the lamb. I'm already looking forward to it. ... Update May 30, 2025: After many visits, here's an update. Today I had Konya (delicious, as always) and Corba Mercimek (it tastes really good here; I don't usually like soups). Then I had a perfectly grilled 500g entrecote with fries. For dessert, 200g of doner meat. Ehli Kebap is still worth the trip. Update: October 31, 2025: Tried something different, also very tasty. They even gave me çiğ köfte as a complimentary treat!

One of the few places in Berlin where we truly felt the taste of home! We had both lahmacun and İskender here, and the flavors were just as authentic as in Turkey. The lahmacun was thin, fresh, and full of flavor — especially perfect with lemon and parsley. The İskender was spot on: rich sauce, butter, and perfectly balanced yogurt. And the ayran & Turkish tea completed everything beautifully. The service was friendly, the atmosphere warm, and the price-to-quality ratio more than satisfying. We came here as a family from out of town. We had kelle paça soup, İskender kebab, and Turkish delight. The döner kebab was amazing. 💯👌 I definitely recommend it. 👍

As we were passing by, I asked if the döner was made with leaves. They immediately offered it to me and let me taste it. It was a very classy gesture. My family and I came back for döner that evening and were very pleased. The döner meat was delicious. The bread was also very fresh. Afterward, we were served tea.

There's also a large selection of grilled and Turkish dishes, which I'll try my way through little by little. My only minor criticism: the bread and sauces could be slightly improved, but that's really just complaining at a high level. The worst order I've ever received. I ordered a large durum, but it was smaller than a regular one. There was hardly any meat and it didn't taste good, let alone the salad. They could have just served the dry durum bread with the sauce. I'm usually a well-intentioned person, but today's delivery bordered on fraud! Incredibly disappointing!

I can only recommend it if you have an appetite for really good grilled meat. The staff were absolutely perfect throughout—not fake, but genuinely attentive—I really enjoyed it. Any grilled meat restaurant that's associated with a butcher shop is bound to be good. They also have some more unusual regional Turkish items like Iskender kebap and etli ekmek. The aci ezme (tomato and pepper dip) is also great.

It's best to order the doner kebab or the dürum without the sauce; the meat adds plenty of moisture and flavor. Incredibly delicious.

The food is excellent in-house, but unfortunately disappointing via Uber Eats. The bread at the dürüm was untoasted, and for over €10, I got only average quality. Despite the notice and note for "extra sauce," the kebab was dry – the employee confirmed it, but made a derogatory comment in Turkish. This is the second time I've had a bad experience (delivery & pickup). Recommended in-store, but not online.

I just ordered a doner kebab and a dürüm. It tastes great, but there's a mountain of salt in some places. What are you doing there? You're putting a lot of salt in one place. It would have been perfect without the salt.

I visited Ehl-i Kebap with two friends, and we were initially planning to try their “t bone Steak ” specialty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available that day since the grill master was off. Instead, we ordered döner and a selection of grilled meats. The döner was excellent – honestly, one of the best I’ve had in Berlin, juicy and full of flavor. However, the experience with the grilled dishes was very disappointing. I ordered lamb chops, while my friends chose the mixed grill. Sadly, all the meats came out burnt and extremely dry, making them almost unenjoyable. For the price point, the quality was far below expectations. When I mentioned this to the staff, their response was simply: “You should have told us.” But the real question is, why was food in that condition served in the first place?

Warning!!! Here you get kebabs with bread like stone, and if you complain, it's your own fault because they'll say you didn't say you wanted regular bread from the start. 😃🤦 So be careful next time, if you don't tell them beforehand, there'll be soap in your kebabs instead of meat. You have to clarify all these absurd things before ordering. But the meat tastes good!

As the Acar family, we visited this lovely restaurant owned by my dear brother Sedat. Of course, our priority is the halal quality of the meat. Sedat and I buy our meat from a Polish slaughterhouse that doesn't require shock, so the only halal meat döner I know of in Berlin is here. May God bless you. I tried the Iskender and the grilled platter. The dining room was air-conditioned, but smelled of stale air, which made the experience unpleasant. Overall, the food was very bland. The doner meat on the Iskender was also cut quite thickly and therefore tough, while the Adana—like the other dishes—was bland in flavor. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't a convincing experience.

I spontaneously grabbed a kebab here for lunch. And because it was sooo good, I had it again in the evening!! That speaks for itself!! Very simple in bread with meat, onions, tomatoes, and lettuce – with all three sauces mixed in. The meat is a real powerhouse!! Nothing more is needed... When I'm back in Berlin, I'll probably only eat here!! Sensational!! You can taste the quality and love for the meat! Thank you for the wonderful taste experience!

I explained that I didn't have any cash. He said it was no problem; I could pay next time. You rarely experience such a gesture these days. My first visit: Waiting time was about 10-15 minutes. The doner kebab was very good, but not particularly large. The meat was very tender.

It's a nice restaurant, the food is delicious, but the waiter Ömer is not hospitable at all. There is a parking problem. While everyone was parking in front of the restaurant, he didn't let us. I think Mr. Ömer doesn't like Turkish tourists a bit, he sees them as poor. We didn't like the place very much. There are other places with good food, I will never go there again...

I don't know if it would have been different if we had eaten there, but we ordered two Adana Dürüm. The meat was really very good—well-seasoned and flavorful. Unfortunately, the bread was dry and cold, barely chewable. The vegetables were sparse and seemed carelessly prepared. The sauces all tasted like mayonnaise—whether they contained garlic or herbs was unclear. It's a shame, because the meat was truly high quality, but the rest of the Dürüm unfortunately couldn't keep up.

I recently went to a kebab shop in Berlin-Wedding that serves steak kebabs – and I have to honestly say: It was by far one of the best kebabs I've ever had in Berlin! The meat was super juicy and flavorful, the bread fresh and crispy, and everything was perfectly balanced. As a little extra, they even gave us a free appetizer – really nice! And afterward, we were given a cup of tea, just for the sake of it. You don't experience this kind of hospitality everywhere, and it made the whole thing even more special. If you're in Wedding, you should definitely stop by. I definitely recommend it!

Ordered via Uber Eats. Super fast delivery. The Bursa Iskender Kebab was the best I've ever eaten. Only the pointed peppers were too spicy. The meat, sauce, and yogurt were perfect. I don't know if the bread in the kebab was toasted or grilled; you couldn't really tell. The bread tasted a bit dry, like it was yesterday's. The Konya Etli Ekmek was okay, but I would have preferred the bread to be softer and thicker, not as thin and crumbly as crispy biscuits. In other words, it was like a stone-baked pizza, with a nice yeast dough! I'll review the lahmacun later. :)

I lack the right words to adequately describe the quality and authenticity of this establishment. It's almost impossible to find anything comparable in Berlin. The quality of the meat, the taste, the preparation—everything is of a perfection that is unparalleled. Here, they don't just serve it; they live a culinary tradition that is otherwise only known from Turkey. Anyone who wants to experience true meat art must visit this place in person. Words simply can't do the experience justice; you have to taste it for yourself.

I went there with my family. We ordered two steak burgers, a chicken skewer, pide with cheese and mushrooms, and various side dishes. The ayran was already quite salty, and the salty sauces and fries didn't help. The fries were quite dry. The chicken skewers were so dry, you couldn't eat them without drinking a drink, but nothing could top the steak burger. It was really delicious in itself and the best of the dishes we ordered. But there's a bacon/pastirma in the middle, which was so salty, my throat burned, and my tongue is still raw. Truly brutal. The service was friendly and competent.

Ehl-i Kebak by Et Dünyasi is a nice place that invites you to linger! The staff is friendly and attentive. The Dürüm Döner is delicious!!! And what I see on the neighboring tables is very tempting! Maybe (maybe!) everything here is a euro more expensive than at the kebab shop on the corner, but the food is worth every cent! Conclusion: Absolutely recommended! Added: The men's restroom was spotlessly clean and smelled of nothing but a tiny bit of air freshener.

They have flavors that suit the Turkish palate.. everything was great.. and the smiling faces of the employees made us happy.. we will be here again on our next trip to Berlin🌸

Great Turkish food, friendly service, reasonable prices! Unfortunately they didn't have the lamb liver but the inegöl köfte I got instead were fantastic too. The sütlaci is unfortunately not the best, the top could've been darker, the taste could've been less plain, but overall I really liked this place, I recommend it!

- dry bread + good quality meat - virtually no sauce - extremely high price for my portion I actually love trying new places, but this one really didn't suit my taste. The only positive thing was the quality of the meat, which, for my taste, could have been a lot crispier. The combination of the dry bread with virtually no sauce makes your mouth dry out. I only had the dürüm doner. The other dishes may be better, but unfortunately, I can't recommend the dürüm.

My pasta tasted very rotten, my meat was rotten, and the employee brought something different than what was requested. Bottom line: it wasn't good!!!

The Iskender was delicious; the meat quality is almost unbeatable. The tomato sauce is the best I've ever tasted, and they didn't skimp on it! I therefore consider the price justified. The food also arrived relatively quickly; you just have to be careful not to eat during prime time.
