As an event technician, I know this hotel very well and it is the non-plus-ultra for events, trade fairs, conferences

Clean rooms, nice view (located on the 12th floor) Breakfast buffet very rich, lots of choice, even different spelled breads (big praise). Everyone was friendly there. Fresh egg dishes upon request... Room nice and big. Atrium bar - we had to wait a long time until we were served by D.G., he was constantly wiping tables around it, showing the wobbly legs from the table. If we asked, he would come to us. At Stars in Concert we were served very nicely and promptly by Ms. Kezmi. Overall a very nice weekend spent there.

I stayed here for a business visit in connection with the Top Employers event that took place in this hotel. My room was on the top floor, so I could enjoy a beautiful view. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and fresh, with a pleasant smell. In addition, the breakfast buffet was extensive and of excellent quality.

I stay at this hotel at least once a year and I have to say I've never been disappointed. The rooms are good and the service feels very comfortable. The downside, in my opinion, is simply the location. Because there isn't much around it and you have to rely on trains and/or taxis.

Great hotel unfortunately in a not so great area but the service and quality is top I'll come here more often.

If you don't have to work there, it's fine. Romantic if you find Neukölln romantic – otherwise ugly. The art makes it a little better (it's not all bad). The breakfast and bar would be really nice if it weren't for the sound of a busy train station.

We were in the hotel with our friends to start the new year and experience Berlin. We had a great start to the new year with a really successful celebration with a great show, great music, good food and friendly, courteous staff. To visit the city you only need to walk a few minutes to get to the nearest S-Bahn stadium. The bars and restaurants are highly recommended. And you could always find a place for breakfast, even at peak times.

The hotel itself has a good price/performance ratio. Unless you want the staff to be friendly. We were greeted in such an unfriendly manner several times at reception. After completely normal and friendly questions. Then we immediately realized again, oh yes, we are in Berlin. We didn't have breakfast because in the past it was very bad for €25.

New Year's brunch with 🎶🎺🎷🎸🥁 New Castle Band Köpenick! Unfortunately, the acoustics in the large hall are rather poor, as is the band's location upstairs... a shame for listeners and musicians...!! Brunch buffet is no longer as good as it used to be... probably in order to keep the price down. Times change, everything changes. Looking forward to the tower 😉! It's exciting to see how tall it grows!!

Really great hotel. Lots of space, everything was clean and the staff were really polite. Unfortunately in Neuköln, an area that doesn't really look inviting and you don't want to leave the area alone at night. The beach with bar is really nice, especially in summer.

I don't know the rooms, the breakfast or the service, but I know for a fact that you can handle special situations extremely well and therefore the rest must be world class!!! Thank you very much, dear Estrel, and continued success

I can't say anything about the rooms. We went for Christmas brunch. The brunch is ok, but the price-performance ratio is not right here. For €70 you can expect more. The service was very nice.

I wasn't staying in the hotel. I was in the show of the stars and it was really great.

As soon as you enter the lobby you can feel the welcoming atmosphere and the high standards that the hotel offers. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and always tried to fulfill all wishes. The rooms were modern, stylish and very clean - you immediately notice that attention is paid to details. I found the comfortable beds and the high-quality toiletries in the bathroom particularly pleasant. Overall, this hotel offers everything you would expect from a 4-star hotel - and even a little more! I would come back at any time and recommend it without reservation. We were there as a family for the New Year's Eve gala. The hotel itself is a bit far from the center, where most of the sights are located, about 30 minutes by public transport to Alex. The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean. The gala buffet was very nice and plentiful. The show was very good. The dance music could have been modern, the dance floor was too small for the large number of people. It was also a shame that everything ended at 2 o'clock. According to the travel provider, there was supposed to be a New Year's brunch, warm/cold, for January 1st, 2025, but there was “only” the normal breakfast buffet.

The hotel is great. Why only 1 star? If hotel guests have to pay 22 euros in parking fees for 24 hours, then this hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars.

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting our son. Beautiful place with interesting art. Food in Italian restaurant was amazing. Breakfast choice was excellent. Only one member of staff was miserable at the bar area. She was a young bartender who needs to smile a bit more. Otherwise our stay was amazing. We will be back again as our son lives close by. Well done and thank you.🇮🇪

Large, modern hotel. The rooms were very clean and large. The breakfast and the service in the evening in the lobby are really outstanding - it couldn't be better. We really enjoyed it as a couple and would come back again and again!

We went to Estrel for Christmas brunch twice. A great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. The food was deliciously prepared. Everything tasted so delicious that it was hard to stop :) There was something for everyone, whether big, small or vegetarian. It was always topped up so there was actually a lot to eat. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel!

I had an appointment at the convention center.

It was my first time visiting this house. My wife was at the opening at the time and wanted to show me and our son the hotel. The location of the hotel, near Sonnenallee, is fine if you are open to other cultures. The rooms, we had a deluxe and standard room, were perfect, although we were missing a kettle and tea bags. There were also no bathrobes in the rooms. The service was otherwise perfect. Unfortunately we couldn't use the sauna facility over the Christmas holidays because it was closed. When it reopened, there were no more bathrobes available. Which was unfortunately suboptimal. However, we will visit this house again and recommend it to others. Price-performance ratio was 100%.

The largest hotel in Germany, yet it doesn't seem hectic or overcrowded in any way. Location is ok, direct connection to Sonnenallee S-Bahn station. Superbly furnished rooms, clean and above all excellent beds.

Career day setup and dismantling with connection to the hotel, perfect. Rooms are good and adequately stocked. TV, radio in the bathroom etc.

Celebrated Christmas with my family at Frank Zander's 30 year old. The conditions are very hardworking. Kudos for the quick service. And also in the kitchen.

This is our first time in this hotel. It was also just for one night. The hotel was very clean. The service was very nice and helped straight away if you had any questions. The breakfast is a bit meager, especially for Muslims or those of other faiths. The service staff were very, very nice. The ambience cannot be beaten unless you go to higher classes. Overall we will book it again.

I was at the Estrel under the assumption that there was a ticket shop for events there. Unfortunately my assumption was wrong, the concierge couldn't see my sad face and offered to help me get the card. It was like a good Hollywood movie, there's probably no problem he can't fix and I now have the card I want in my hands. If they were so friendly to me in the Estrel house, even though I wasn't a guest, they have to take the guests on their hands.

Not satisfactory in terms of price-performance ratio.

Solid hotel, but way too big for me. The room was okay. I only spent one night here. The hotel is close to the S-Bahn and bus.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The rooms were modernly furnished and the breakfast buffet was rich. The location makes it well suited for trips to Berlin city center, as the S-Bahn stops just a few minutes' walk away. The neighboring Neu-Kölln also offers nice side streets with corresponding restaurants and cafés. We ate really delicious home-made pizza in a small restaurant (“Vier Ecken”).

From check-in to departure everything was great and the entire staff was very nice and helpful. The Christmas Christmas Show is highly recommended and is a lot of fun. The entire hotel is very clean and you can only feel comfortable.

Lamp above the bed was hanging out. Bathroom smells like drains Room cleaning very poor. Reception staff not really friendly. Largest hotel is all well and good, but there are much better hotels in the same price range with better service.

A 30-year-old hotel shows signs of wear and tear. The facility is getting old. A loud, hissing heater and the shower head holder is completely overwhelmed. A night in the underground car park becomes a nuisance at €22. The good connection to public transport is good for mobility.

We had a 3-day event and I also had a room to stay overnight. Both the event rooms and the rooms are optimally designed and equipped with everything you need. The organization from parking to check-in to breakfast works brilliantly!

There are too few parking spaces available for such a house and the rooms are in need of renovation. You can expect more from the price, including from breakfast!

Peter Fox writes in his song Black to Blue: “Good morning Berlin, you can be so ugly, so dirty, so gray…”. This is exactly the feeling you get when you drive up to the Estrel on a gray December day. But the initial impression quickly disappears when you enter the foyer: voluminous, bright and decorated with impressive, large-format art that can be found throughout the entire complex. At the reception you even get your own art guide to help you find your way around. Check-in is carried out objectively and professionally. However, the materials including the elevator on the way to the room seem a bit worn and outdated. The room door corresponds to the quality of a model that one would otherwise expect in a well-kept three-star Eastern Bloc hotel. The rest of the room is functional, clean and perfectly fine for a business night. The 30,000 square meters of event space lack nothing. You can immediately tell that professionals with a lot of experience at major events are at work here. The event buffet was always very good and surprisingly tasteful. A solid business hotel that is unrivaled in its size.

It's a wonderful hotel. The spacious space is perfect for various events.

Small room, lousy view, not a nice location, there wasn't even a bottle of water, no lotion in the bathroom, not a socket next to each bed, two sockets broken, disabled toilet in the conference area poorly repaired. It wouldn't be a problem if it didn't cost almost €180 without food. It's nice that there are bins for waste separation, but the staff (which was otherwise good) throws all bottle caps into the residual waste, for example

The receptionist should be fired. Super unfriendly. We were also overcharged by €260. According to the employee at check-in, this was supposedly a deposit that we should get back. But we don't have it. Never experienced anywhere in the world. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I've almost never been so rude in one Hotel welcomed. Friendliness was out of place, the employee just wanted to continue chatting with colleagues. Full garbage bags still in the hallway at 8 p.m. ...the next day the garbage bag still hasn't been put away. That's better!

A lot of money for a hotel that for me is not in the top class, so the price is excessive! The biggest outrage: 22€ per day for parking and 25€ per breakfast!!! With costs of €380 for 2 nights 🫣 absolutely not worth it!!!

Terrible called room. Not cool enough even with an open window. Shower ok although you did spill water in the bathroom. Also super hot. Bed fine loops ultra thin.

Apparently the largest hotel in Germany, certainly not the best, but quite ok. It is a business/conference hotel. Reception and breakfast staff are friendly. The location is moderate, between the airport and the city center. The breakfast is ok, but not outstanding. There are only 2 coffee machines for all guests at breakfast. There are no cups for espresso.

Was in the contest with stars. It was good as always, and the service was again very quick.

Were received very friendly at the reception. We stayed in a really clean and modern standard double room on the 13th floor with a breathtaking view of Berlin. Sauna/wellness area is much too small for the size of the hotel and the number of guests. Fitness studio is equipped with modern cardio equipment, dumbbells, etc. Breakfast was very good quality and tasty. I would like to express special praise to the always friendly staff at the hotel. We'd love to come back!!!

We would be there for the weekend. The in-house underground car park (€22/day) is great but it could be better signposted. Check in was very friendly and you felt welcome. The lobby is huge and beautifully designed. The bars and restaurants are directly adjacent. The rooms are very nice, large, comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is not big but very nice. The “night light” in the bathroom triggered by a motion sensor was very good. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Tram “Sonnenallee” about 300m away. We'll definitely be back.

The hotel (4 stars) is huge and offers plenty of space and options for events. It is the largest German hotel and has over 1,100 rooms and around 30,000 square meters of event space. The staff is sufficient and friendly. Cleanliness is very important here, be it in the rooms or in the event rooms. Room prices are, in my opinion, reasonable, but not cheap. Bargains can still be made. The hotel is almost a small world in itself. The hotel is located on a large main street on Sonnenallee in Neuköln. So something outside. However, the surroundings aren't quite as intoxicating, as you're in a big city and unfortunately that's why it's noisy and not that clean. Very multicultural district. My room was quite large and very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, but due to its size it is very loud and looks a bit like a train station hall. But the quality of the food is very good. The hotel can be a good starting point for excursions to explore Berlin if you are willing to take the light rail or take a taxi or Uber to the "city center" or the government district. I've been coming to this hotel for years, but for business.

It would be nice if at least drinks like mineral water were included in the room

The reservation worked perfectly and we received exactly the room we had imagined. The check-in was very good and so was the check-out. We also visited the restaurants and bars in the hotel - there is no ID card within walking distance - but they are overpriced, especially the drinks. We liked the GRILL restaurant best because the service here was particularly friendly and attentive. Not so in the Italian restaurant. At the bar the waiter was attentive and friendly, but had to be asked several times. The room was very nicely designed and absolutely clean. Perfect room service and the room staff very friendly and attentive. Big praise for that.

Estrel hotel is a large hotel with 3 restaurants, 2 bars, wellness and fitness area. Nice and big room We tried to eat at 2 restaurants and we got good and tasty food The breakfast buffet was in the lobby of the hotel. It was a bit impersonal to sit there, but the food was very good and nothing was missing. Parking in the basement (a bit expensive Euro 22.00 per day) The show with Abba and Boney M was timeless and beautifully done.

The Estrel didn't stand out. The rooms were clean, but it bothered me that the cleaner simply took my toothbrush and toothpaste out of the glass and placed them loosely on the washbasin.

Unfortunately I have to deduct a few stars... Parking issue: I have a VW bus, too high for TG. I stood in an unmarked place and had a huge discussion... The other hotel parking lot was full.. Sauna: Notice that the tap doesn't work and the soap is out... Answer: yes, I've passed it on for a long time. It's just not done... Great... Otherwise, standard good to mediocre... that's why only 2 stars

This is a very poor hotel. The area is sketchy and bad. The service is terrible. The food is overpriced and disgusting. The breakfast is a madhouse buffet style of people shoving and pushing through long lines - not good food at all that you have to pay extra money for on top of your room price. People leave dirty dishes and trash all over the place. There is not enough staff to feed people or clean up after they finish breakfast. So you’re sitting at tables with other people’s dirty dishes. There are not enough staff to even check people in. There is no conditioner or shampoo in the showers either only body wash. The water bottles are $5 euros each. The beds are tiny single or twin beds that are not very comfortable and the pillows are not comfortable either. The staff are rude and unhelpful. They are severely understaffed, unorganized and unprepared for large groups. There is no coffee or tea in the rooms. We had steak that was served smothered in some kind of gross brown sauce that was a crime against steak. It is mind blowingly insane that this place has such good reviews. Do not be fooled this is definitely not not not a 4 star hotel.

What a building! Even the first glance leaves a lasting impression. We booked a double room without breakfast as there are many options for eating in the area.

The Estrel is a really cool hotel with excellent service. It's not only fun to be there, you'll also want to come back!!!

I wasn't alone here; I visited the hotel with my mother because we were taking part in an event in the congress center. We booked a double room from Wednesday to Sunday. It is highly recommended. We also used the parking garage under the hotel and were able to have a delicious meal at Estrel and sit together with friends in the evening and let the evening end. I would do it again and again.

The service at check-in is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have been partially renovated, but there are clear deficiencies that, in my opinion, should not occur in a 4 star hotel. The carpet in the room has various stains and the rubber lip on the windows is clearly moldy. In addition, the air conditioning didn't work. I was a guest at the hotel for a conference and paid a whopping 200 euros per night. What I find worrying is that the hotel didn't even offer a bottle of water. Only for a fee from the mini bar.

If you are going to the Expo, go to gate 4 and don't look at the entry ban for trucks, otherwise you won't be able to get there. Terribly narrow entrance. The staff is helpful, they will take you where you need to go, but the access is a disadvantage.

I ate there with a friend. The service was good, the food was very tasty. The ambience is inviting despite the large hall. You still felt like you were in an Italian restaurant.
