Absolutely. We go there about every three years and feel very comfortable with the service, rooms, breakfast, and location.

A perfect location for major events and a lot of careful service staff on board who keep this architecturally valuable hotel complex running

Great conference hotel and you can also eat very tasty food in the Portofino and the steak restaurant.

Great hotel. The staff is very friendly. I had a 2 room suite. Top equipped. This was already my 5th stay at the Estrel. Always my pleasure. Top breakfast buffet and great gastronomy.

Estrel Berlin is an impressive hotel and convention center, known for its spacious rooms, efficient service, and excellent event facilities. Its location is a bit outside the city center, but well-connected by public transport. Great choice for business travelers and large conferences.

The room was clean and tidy but quite bland. The service at the reception was reserved, busy and seemed slightly unfriendly to aloof - overworked? The breakfast for €25 per person is way too high, especially because there are very good, cheap alternatives at a bakery etc. within walking distance. The parking garage is also very expensive - you reach the maximum amount of €22 after just 8 hours, not after 24 hours as usual. Basically it was ok to sleep but we didn't feel welcome.

The Estrel scores with its very good connections - both to the S-Bahn and later to the motorway, which makes arrival and departure pleasant. The reception was less positive during our visit, which unfortunately seemed a bit rude. In the wing 3 area you also had the impression that it was constantly being remodeled - probably due to its character as a large congress center, but still not ideal for a relaxing stay. We found the pricing really unfortunate: €22 per day (after 8 hours) for the parking garage is quite high, a discount for hotel guests would be desirable. We also found the breakfast at €25 to be too expensive - especially since there are cheaper and good alternatives within walking distance. Another small negative point: There was no coffee machine in the room, which is to be expected in this hotel category.

Spectacular hotel, centrally located, facing the river, with good services and access to exhibitions and events.

The hotel is very nice but we missed a tea and coffee station in the room. Which will be complete the missing puzzle. The room is nice but not enough power outlets for charging many devices nowadays. The view from the window was very nice. The gym was very good and nice service their like water and some towels for the gym. The location of the hotel is a bit outside the centre of the city. For us it was ok because we didn’t want to make the usual standard tour in Berlin.

Big and beautiful hotel. All friendly staff

There are only construction sites around the hotel. But that's the same in Berlin city as it is in Hamburg city. When we were there it was raining in the evening and the dripping noises outside could be heard loudly. That's why I slept badly. Rooms are well insulated, you don't hear any noise from your neighbors. Staff at breakfast and reception super friendly, helpful, attentive and always eager to work. Thanks

The main advantage of this hotel is convenience—if you’re attending a conference at Estrel, being onsite is undeniably practical. However, that’s where the positives end. The rooms are dated and in need of refurbishment. In-room Wi-Fi was almost unusable (at least in room 220), and our TV remote didn’t work due to dead batteries. We didn’t bother resolving it because the overall service felt brusque and unwelcoming. The hotel is also quite far—at least 30 minutes—from most of Berlin’s main attractions, and there are very few restaurants or shops within easy walking distance. Service during conference periods seems to break down entirely. There’s no dedicated shop or convenience store onsite—just lobby bars for food and drinks. During peak times, these bars are overwhelmed. I waited over 15 minutes trying to buy a pre-wrapped sandwich and soda and was repeatedly brushed off by staff. When I asked if someone could help me order, two different employees rudely said “someone will help you” without further assistance. A third confirmed that any of them could have helped, which only made the experience more frustrating. When I raised this at the front desk, the response was dismissive. The agent interrupted me to say, “Madam, I cannot give you a bottle of water,” despite that not being my request. When I asked to speak with a manager, he simply replied, “Well, you’ve reported it to me,” and ended the conversation. Perhaps this is just a cultural difference in customer service expectations—but personally, I found the experience disappointing enough that I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Top location for business & Berlin vibes! I was at the Estrel on business for a software manufacturer's conference - and what can I say: absolutely impressive! The organization on site was super professional, the staff was friendly and always helpful, and the rooms were well equipped. The location is very convenient and everything is easy to reach. Despite the business setting, everything felt relaxed and pleasant – not a bit stiff. The food was also surprisingly good (you're usually familiar with conference buffets...). All in all: If you're looking for a strong mix of business comfort and Berlin charm, you've come to the right place!

Very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful on the phone and also very friendly and helpful on site. Room was also clean and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was a 10/10. Everything very tasty and hearty. There is actually no such large selection for breakfast in Germany. The public transport connection (sbahn) is also a good 5-7 minute walk away. The hotel has very spacious rooms. The rooms are very clean, the employees are very polite.

It is a four-star hotel. The room is a little small and the in-room configuration is not up to par. There is no kettle, slippers and coffee provided. The kettle needs to be paid a deposit at the front desk to boil water. The overall stay in the hotel is satisfactory. As a staying guest, the underground parking fee should be free or discounted. Dogs are allowed, and additional registration and payment are required.

Huge complex, unfortunately located quite out of the way

Only stayed one night. Room was clean & had enough space for us. I didn’t try any of the restaurants on-site, but great food options in the area. Berlin’s gastronomy never disappoints!

Great hotel. Very friendly staff, whether at reception or at breakfast. The room was large and clean, the breakfast was excellent. The only option might be another coffee machine, as there were sometimes longer queues. The S-Bahn is a 3-minute walk away - we thought the 30-minute public bus ride to the center was great for Berlin. You can leave the car in the large underground car park, €22 is also completely acceptable for 24 hours. If we are in Berlin again, we will stay here again

Estrel Berlin is the most biggest Hotel in Europe or Germany, and I had a very nice Experience. Here's what: Room: - Very comfortable Bed. - Good WiFi. Room is 5 Stars. Service: - They seem nice. - They seem very helpful. Service is 5 Stars. Location: - It's almost 1 hour away from the Central Station. - Nearby there is an S-Bahn Station. Location is 3 Stars. So the experience was very nice and I highly recommend the Hotel in Berlin. Loved It, 5 Stars.

Very nice big hotel. Our room was very clean and we felt very comfortable. I particularly liked the breakfast buffet with a lot of choice, much of it organic or Demeter quality. The only thing that could be criticized is the location. The hotel is located a bit away from the center. This wasn't a problem for us since we arrived by car.

Good accomodation for a congress!

It is the largest hotel in Germany and good for mass events. You won't find any personal flair there. Is not a boutique hotel.

I've realized here that I've only been staying in old-fashioned hotels for far too long. For convenience and because of many bad experiences with "normal" hotels. The Estrell showed me that they still exist, these hotels that pamper you with service and comfort. Sure, it has its price, but it's justified. One thing that doesn't make sense to me: Why do I have to drink a cappuccino from an espresso cup at breakfast? Is the saving that big? It just doesn't fit the concept, at least not from my point of view. And at a very high level I would also chalk up the use of plastic as a shower tray in an otherwise very high-quality bathroom. Just as a side note. But that doesn't detract from my impression of this great experience of a great stay! And the conference rooms are also very good. Thank you to the team and see you next time!

The hotel is quite good, especially if you are there for a conference. The S-Bahn is within walking distance, otherwise there isn't much going on in the area. The employees are mostly very friendly. The rooms are spacious and nice, well ventilated. There is only a shampoo/shower gel combo. What really annoyed me was that the water (0.5l) costs €5. And I didn't even write it down, I only saw it at my desk. Would only come again if I attend an event at the hotel. And only with my own water 😉

I was only at a congress event - so I can't judge the room. Large, spacious facility. Logistics routes are not very customer-friendly if you have exhibition material with you. Very attentive service staff during catering.

I was there again for a conference. The existing rooms are huge. It's just surprising that access to the large conference room still looks so provisional, as if you were actually going through a laboriously improvised passageway. But the best thing is the logistics and the service. He was always very good, but at times you noticed that they were having problems getting good staff. That seems to have gotten better again. An estimated 2,000 people can be served at the same time, incredible, and this is not the only event taking place there at the same time. I'm sure you'll hardly find something like this in this quality again. The building now looks a bit like its origins from the 1990s, and a complete overhaul will be necessary in the next few years. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the rooms.

Great conference location with TOP catering for the event.

I was there for a conference. The complex and hotel are really large and can accommodate several events at the same time. During the conference the service was really excellent and well organized. The rooms are very modern and attractively furnished. The breakfast was excellent and the selection was very good.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The evening show is simply amazing! I definitely recommend it!

Check in was super easy, our room was clean, nice, quiet. Breakfast buffet on the gallery was delicious, good selection. Large parking garage per day for 25 euros. A bit out of the way, but we knew that beforehand. Good value for money. We had traveled there to the ITB, which was quick to reach.

A very well-organized conference hotel with impressive logistics. Digital check-in and check-out are particularly noteworthy. The breakfast buffet is very good. Overall, a very positive experience. While the hotel isn't particularly well-located, it's easily accessible by public transportation.

We stayed at the Estrel Berlin last weekend. A great hotel near Sonnenallee. The area is rather industrial, but with the nearby circular train, you can reach all destinations quickly. The breakfast and service were excellent. There was everything you could wish for. Unfortunately, the room wasn't very clean. It wasn't vacuumed, and there was dust everywhere. Judging by the amount, it hadn't been done in a long time. By the way, parking at the hotel costs €22 per night. We still had a good time. Thank you very much.

Very very large hotel with over 1000 rooms advantage. Here everything is under one roof, more restaurants, bars and also large conference hall. Underground parking is located directly below the hotel. Prices are good for the level, location and surroundings (Neuköln) are not very nice.

Clean rooms, nice view (located on the 12th floor) Breakfast buffet very rich, lots of choice, even different spelled breads (big praise). Everyone was friendly there. Fresh egg dishes upon request... Room nice and big. Atrium bar - we had to wait a long time until we were served by D.G., he was constantly wiping tables around it, showing the wobbly legs from the table. If we asked, he would come to us. At Stars in Concert we were served very nicely and promptly by Ms. Kezmi. Overall a very nice weekend spent there.

I stayed here for a business visit in connection with the Top Employers event that took place in this hotel. My room was on the top floor, so I could enjoy a beautiful view. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and fresh, with a pleasant smell. In addition, the breakfast buffet was extensive and of excellent quality.

I stay at this hotel at least once a year and I have to say I've never been disappointed. The rooms are good and the service feels very comfortable. The downside, in my opinion, is simply the location. Because there isn't much around it and you have to rely on trains and/or taxis.

Great hotel unfortunately in a not so great area but the service and quality is top I'll come here more often.

If you don't have to work there, it's fine. Romantic if you find Neukölln romantic – otherwise ugly. The art makes it a little better (it's not all bad). The breakfast and bar would be really nice if it weren't for the sound of a busy train station.

We were in the hotel with our friends to start the new year and experience Berlin. We had a great start to the new year with a really successful celebration with a great show, great music, good food and friendly, courteous staff. To visit the city you only need to walk a few minutes to get to the nearest S-Bahn stadium. The bars and restaurants are highly recommended. And you could always find a place for breakfast, even at peak times.

The hotel itself has a good price/performance ratio. Unless you want the staff to be friendly. We were greeted in such an unfriendly manner several times at reception. After completely normal and friendly questions. Then we immediately realized again, oh yes, we are in Berlin. We didn't have breakfast because in the past it was very bad for €25.

New Year's brunch with 🎶🎺🎷🎸🥁 New Castle Band Köpenick! Unfortunately, the acoustics in the large hall are rather poor, as is the band's location upstairs... a shame for listeners and musicians...!! Brunch buffet is no longer as good as it used to be... probably in order to keep the price down. Times change, everything changes. Looking forward to the tower 😉! It's exciting to see how tall it grows!!

Really great hotel. Lots of space, everything was clean and the staff were really polite. Unfortunately in Neuköln, an area that doesn't really look inviting and you don't want to leave the area alone at night. The beach with bar is really nice, especially in summer.

The hotel is great. Why only 1 star? If hotel guests have to pay 22 euros in parking fees for 24 hours, then this hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars.

We were there as a family for the New Year's Eve gala. The hotel itself is a bit far from the center, where most of the sights are located, about 30 minutes by public transport to Alex. The staff was very nice, the rooms were clean. The gala buffet was very nice and plentiful. The show was very good. The dance music could have been modern, the dance floor was too small for the large number of people. It was also a shame that everything ended at 2 o'clock. According to the travel provider, there was supposed to be a New Year's brunch, warm/cold, for January 1st, 2025, but there was “only” the normal breakfast buffet.

We stayed here over Christmas while visiting our son. Beautiful place with interesting art. Food in Italian restaurant was amazing. Breakfast choice was excellent. Only one member of staff was miserable at the bar area. She was a young bartender who needs to smile a bit more. Otherwise our stay was amazing. We will be back again as our son lives close by. I can't say anything about the rooms. We went for Christmas brunch. The brunch is ok, but the price-performance ratio is not right here. For €70 you can expect more. The service was very nice.

Large, modern hotel. The rooms were very clean and large. The breakfast and the service in the evening in the lobby are really outstanding - it couldn't be better. We really enjoyed it as a couple and would come back again and again!

We went to Estrel for Christmas brunch twice. A great atmosphere, very friendly and attentive staff. The food was deliciously prepared. Everything tasted so delicious that it was hard to stop :) There was something for everyone, whether big, small or vegetarian. It was always topped up so there was actually a lot to eat. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the hotel!

The largest hotel in Germany, yet it doesn't seem hectic or overcrowded in any way. Location is ok, direct connection to Sonnenallee S-Bahn station. Superbly furnished rooms, clean and above all excellent beds.

It was my first time visiting this house. My wife was at the opening at the time and wanted to show me and our son the hotel. The location of the hotel, near Sonnenallee, is fine if you are open to other cultures. The rooms, we had a deluxe and standard room, were perfect, although we were missing a kettle and tea bags. There were also no bathrobes in the rooms. The service was otherwise perfect. Unfortunately we couldn't use the sauna facility over the Christmas holidays because it was closed. When it reopened, there were no more bathrobes available. Which was unfortunately suboptimal. However, we will visit this house again and recommend it to others. Price-performance ratio was 100%.

Celebrated Christmas with my family at Frank Zander's 30 year old. The conditions are very hardworking. Kudos for the quick service. And also in the kitchen.

This is our first time in this hotel. It was also just for one night. The hotel was very clean. The service was very nice and helped straight away if you had any questions. The breakfast is a bit meager, especially for Muslims or those of other faiths. The service staff were very, very nice. The ambience cannot be beaten unless you go to higher classes. Overall we will book it again.

I was at the Estrel under the assumption that there was a ticket shop for events there. Unfortunately my assumption was wrong, the concierge couldn't see my sad face and offered to help me get the card. It was like a good Hollywood movie, there's probably no problem he can't fix and I now have the card I want in my hands. If they were so friendly to me in the Estrel house, even though I wasn't a guest, they have to take the guests on their hands.

We felt very comfortable in this hotel. The rooms were modernly furnished and the breakfast buffet was rich. The location makes it well suited for trips to Berlin city center, as the S-Bahn stops just a few minutes' walk away. The neighboring Neu-Kölln also offers nice side streets with corresponding restaurants and cafés. We ate really delicious home-made pizza in a small restaurant (“Vier Ecken”).

Solid hotel, but way too big for me. The room was okay. I only spent one night here. The hotel is close to the S-Bahn and bus.
