I went to Stars in Concert and I enjoyed it very much.

Everything was clean and the service was good. The room was dated. The air conditioning didn't get too warm 😞

The Estrel Berlin Hotel provided the perfect experience for our PM Leaders' Meeting. The meeting rooms were professional and impressive, the facilities top-notch, and the service meticulous and efficient throughout. The Estrel Berlin Hotel is more than just a hotel; it's a perfect platform for high-end business events, offering a comprehensive and exceptional experience. It seamlessly combines grand scale, first-class facilities, and warm, attentive service, providing an impeccable and solid foundation for our PM Leaders' Meeting. For any individual or group seeking to host an important meeting or event in Berlin, or pursuing a top-tier accommodation experience, I would not hesitate to recommend the Estrel Berlin Hotel. It is undoubtedly one of my most satisfying choices for business travel.

The overall environment was nice, but there was no free bottled water provided in the room.

Divided into four buildings, about 30 minutes from downtown. Breakfast begins at 6:30 AM. No pots in the rooms. Water is 5 euros. There are numerous supermarkets within a 5-minute walk.

The room size was ideal, the beds weren't too soft, and finally, a pillow you could actually lie on! The motion-activated nightlight in the bathroom was fantastic, as it prevented the noisy fan from kicking on and the light wasn't too harsh. The sauna was free and had a pleasant atmosphere. There was a good view of the TV tower from the 10th floor. Breakfast was ample and good, the staff was very friendly, and the reception was well-staffed and quick even with many guests. We were able to park nearby for free. We'll be back.

We took the bus from the main train station. The bus stop is right next to the Estrel Hotel. We received a warm welcome. Check-in was excellent. The rooms are practical, and the bathroom had a particularly large shower. The gentleman at the information desk was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions immediately and was always attentive to our needs. The service during the Christmas show was also very good. I felt very comfortable and well taken care of. I was even offered coffee early in the morning (5:00 AM). The breakfast buffet was very varied and fresh. Many thanks to everyone, especially the gentleman at the information desk. I stayed at this comfortable and spacious hotel in mid-November for a large event from Monday (arrival) to Friday (breakfast and departure) with approximately 350 people plus the organizer's team. The reception was friendly, but the initial impression was somewhat dampened because the parking attendant couldn't clearly explain the location of the hotel's overflow parking area. It took three attempts to find it. Better directions or improved lighting on the parking sign could easily remedy this. The rooms are cozy and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and constantly replenished. There were only short waits at the coffee machines—distributed and readily available throughout the lobby, which doubles as the breakfast room—which was surprisingly quick considering the number of guests. The organization of the event necessitated the use of several smaller rooms/halls in addition to the main hall. Coffee and coffee machines, tea stations, and soft drinks were available at all times, replenished between breaks, and in ample quantities. The lunches and coffee breaks, featuring light meals and snacks, were good and reflected the generally high quality of the hotel's catering. Unfortunately, in such a large and spacious building, there is no designated smoking area in a bar or lounge with a fireplace in the evenings. The smoking areas in front of the main entrance (by the taxi stand), in the courtyard and loading ramp to the main conference hall, and the outdoor areas of the rooms in the side atrium are all very spartan, uninviting, and offer little to no protection from the elements. I felt like a second-class guest. Only the smoking area near the entrance to the hotel's theater/stage has an ambiance that, thanks to its connection to the hotel, the courtyard design, and the radiant heaters, is appropriate for the hotel, though it could be improved. Furthermore, on the second evening after the first event, we were very firmly escorted out of the hall by security staff. However, service continued to be provided by the staff in the lobby. However, considering it's the largest conference hotel in Berlin and far beyond, these prices are quite reasonable. The hotel already offers excellent service, but it still has the potential to address its shortcomings with a few small improvements and staff training. Nevertheless, it's highly recommended for business travelers and conference attendees.

We attended the Champions Sports Gala held at the Estrel Hotel and it was absolutely fantastic. The service and the food were outstanding. The salmon was of superb quality, and there was hardly any waiting time as there were many small food stations. We were thrilled!

Excellent value for money. Very clean, and especially well-soundproofed, modern rooms. Good transport links, even though it's not in the city center. I'll definitely come back when I have the chance.

From my personal experience as an employee, this was one of the most difficult and stressful workplaces I have ever encountered. I found the behavior of some managers and supervisors to be clearly disrespectful, condescending, and at times discriminatory. Many guests would never believe how badly employees are treated behind the scenes. I sincerely hope that management fundamentally changes and finally begins to treat everyone with dignity, fairness, and respect. This is solely my personal experience and reflects my subjective perception.

I attended an event there; the huge, beautiful lobby hall was very impressive.

Yesterday I called reception specifically because the entire hallway reeked of manure, and the smell even permeated our room. There was also hair everywhere in the room, a brown stain on the towel, and mold on the shower head. Disappointing for a 4-star hotel. Furthermore, the receptionist told me at checkout that we could have been given a different room, but that's no use to me since the whole ordeal was already over. At least they're refunding our parking fee... I don't think we'll be staying at the Estrel again in the future if a deluxe double room looks like this.

I was there for a business event, so I can't comment on the rooms. The hotel is a great event venue, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Lunch was also delicious.

They said Berlin is one of the largest hotels in Germany. I'm guessing this hotel is a 4-star hotel, but many 3-star hotels in Türkiye offer better comfort and equipment than this one. You're staying at an international hotel, but even your television broadcasts are very limited, and you can't watch many countries.

The location in Neukölln is an acquired taste. Excellent service, even exceeding what you'd expect from a 4-star superior hotel. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and more than adequate.

I needed help after my girlfriend became seriously ill; I needed an invoice for the cancellation fees so I could submit them to my insurance company. Neither Booking.com, where I booked the hotel, nor Estrel itself sent an invoice, despite repeated requests from Booking.com. How can you leave customers in the lurch like this? Absolutely minus one star. Unfortunately, I was two days too late for free cancellation. We're talking about €125 here. For many, it wouldn't be a big deal, but it would still be nice to receive some goodwill gesture. I will never book this hotel again, as they showed absolutely no willingness to help, especially since it was only two weeks in advance and they could easily have rented the room out during the pre-Christmas period. Thanks, Estrel, for your support. My travel cancellation insurance company is happy because I have no proof of the cancellation fees to submit. I am beyond disappointed.

Large conference hotel a little bit outside of town, but well in reach of public transport. Several good restaurants and a very welcoming staff.

We had a very spacious room, everything was clean and tidy. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful! We arrived an hour before the official check-in time and were fortunately able to access our room early. The hotel's restaurants are also highly recommended. We would definitely come back 😊

1. Fail: Booked for two people, but only one was registered. Not the first time. 2. Room: Tiny TV, picture kept freezing. Not the first time. 3. Bathroom: Toilet often wouldn't stop flushing, sink drain was faulty. Not the first time. 4. Breakfast: Plain yogurt sometimes ran out, coffee tasted bad, uncomfortable, and far too crowded. 5. Business trip – but a tourist tax for Berlin? What's that all about? On the bright side: The staff is always friendly and helpful, everything is clean and tidy. The event location is great. Regarding problem resolution: Nothing's worse than having a workman in your room, right? We've stayed there before, but we won't be staying there again.

We were going to an event at Speiche Neukölln, and this hotel was very conveniently located for us. Check-in was from 3 pm, but we arrived at noon and got a room immediately. The receptionist was very friendly. We parked on the street, where there are free public parking spaces. The hotel is huge and, according to Google, is probably Germany's largest hotel. Despite the hustle and bustle, it felt quite quiet. Our room was on the 11th floor. The room and bathroom were perfectly adequate in terms of size. The bed was comfortable. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom wasn't great; there was a layer of dust and hair on the floor. It didn't bother us too much; a quick wipe with a towel and it was fine. If there's another event nearby, we'd gladly stay here again.

The lobby, bar area, and service were excellent. The rooms are dated and definitely not worth the price. €25 for breakfast is outrageous. The Neukölln area isn't great either – not recommended!

It boasts being the largest hotel in Berlin, if not Europe. But at these prices, "large" should also mean impeccably clean. The room looked like it had just been rebuilt after the fall of the Berlin Wall and smelled of old carpeting and stale smoke. The TV was tiny and covered in a thick layer of dust. For €179 a night, you then have to pay an additional €5 for a bottle of water in the room, which is absolutely outrageous these days. To me, water means service and a "welcome, dear guest," not "ha! You idiot, with your basic need for water, we're going to make you pay even more." Of course, I should mention that they eventually waived the water charge because I complained and showed them photos of the dust. I will book other hotels for future conferences.

A super friendly, highly motivated team that thinks ahead and is genuinely dedicated. A large breakfast buffet, and surprisingly good value for money; everything is perfectly organized, despite it being a huge hotel with long-term staff. Interesting art objects and very good evening meals. Small but excellent wine list! Very comfortable beds, excellent sleep! Clean bathroom with extra towels... and much more. We'd love to come back.

I got a chance to visit this hotel but only to attend an event here. The outside looks great, the inside is awesome, really spacious, and they got plenty of rooms to host many events at once.

I booked one standard room with 230 euros per night, with no breakfast, but the rooms facility is too bad. bathroom shower can not fixed position, TV is too old and too small, A/C is too noise and the cover is loose and also very old. if need breakfast, still need to extra 25 euros per person. so high price with so poor quality is so crazy and can no be imaged.

A super stylish, modern hotel. I always enjoy staying here. The only downside is the doors; they don't close quietly. Perhaps you could consider doing something about that.

I've always enjoyed staying at the Estrel, but this time I was a bit disappointed. Firstly, when it's cold outside, the entrance area and the lobby where the bars and restaurants are located are very cold. Secondly, I booked a junior suite this time. On the positive side, the toilet was separate from the shower and sink, however, there was no separate sink for washing hands in the toilet, and the toilet was right next to the bed, which I found quite inconvenient.

A nice, large hotel – perhaps not the perfect location, but it's hard to imagine a better one in Berlin. The breakfast is good, but in my opinion, too expensive. Otherwise, I was very satisfied with my stay overall. What I really disliked, however, was the lack of complimentary drinks in the spa area – not even water from the dispenser. Water in the room's minibar costs €4.50 for a 0.5-liter bottle. In the spa area, a 0.25-liter bottle of water costs €4.50, and a beer costs €7.

The Estrel is a safe haven in Neukölln, a district with a strong Islamic influence. At the hotel bar, they try to limit beer consumption by charging a €7 security deposit for every 0.4 liters.

I booked a room for an event in early October 2025. Since I couldn't attend, I cancelled the reservation using the same phone number I used for the booking. I was assured of a free cancellation, but three weeks later, my account was debited, and I received no invoice. When I pointed out the error via email, they claimed their terms and conditions stipulated I was responsible for payment. They simply hadn't included the invoice. Initially, my cancellation was confirmed over the phone, but later the charge was processed anyway. Beware of this hotel...

The rooms are great, large comfortable beds, and the bathroom is very good with a light strip and a vanity mirror. Everything is top-notch! 👍🏻 The S-Bahn station is nearby. Taxis are available on site.

I attended a massive bemer conference at Estrel Berlin on 20th September 2025. It was for 1400 guests so not a small event. We enjoyed drinks all day a fabulous lunch buffet and a spectacular dinner. It is a massive venue and very well organised. The staff were friendly and helpful finding dairy free products on request. The evening meal was a work of art on plate all varieties with meat option, vegetarian or vegan option. All delightful. The toilets and facilities were pristine and staff on duty very attentive to ensuring all supplies were maintained throughout the day and evening. A very enjoyable conference.

I was only there to see how this successful hotel, with its new Estrel Tower, had progressed. The 176-meter tower impressed me so much that I immediately (within two days) made two videos from numerous photos and posted them online, and more will follow. Much more is happening, and I will continue to keep an eye on this successful marvel.

A great location, everything from the top shelf

A super nice hotel with great connections to all the sights. The hotel complex is very large and beautiful, and very well maintained! The staff in all areas is friendly and helpful! The rooms are very good, equipped with everything your heart desires. Unfortunately, the breakfast was a bit too expensive for us, so we can't rate it.

For a 4-star hotel, I expected more. The room felt underwhelming right away—there was no complimentary water, coffee, or tea, and the minibar charged €5 per bottle of water. Basic in-room amenities seemed an afterthought. The bed and pillows lacked quality, and the room’s climate control barely functioned, leaving me waking up uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the old carpeted floors gave the room a dated, uninviting feel—far from the clean, fresh atmosphere one expects at this standard. Breakfast and restaurant offerings were merely adequate, and bar service moved at a painful pace. On the plus side, the event facilities were functional, and the lobby’s spaciousness did impress. But overall, the value felt more aligned with a 3-star experience.

We wanted to redeem a voucher: a visit to the "Stars in Concert" show combined with a stay at the hotel. The receptionist explained to us that we only needed to do this by phone or email. He then asked us if we had some time. He would contact the relevant colleague and take care of our date requests. Of course, we said yes. We were supposed to sit in the lobby café and have a drink, which was paid for by the hotel. After a while, he came over and went with us to the box office. Together with the colleague there, we found a date for the Stars in Concert "Christmas Special"! GREAT! Then we just had to sort out the day for the overnight stay (before or after the show). He took down our contact information and promised that we would receive a booking confirmation soon. This happened very quickly. Many thanks to everyone involved in making our requests come true! 🙏

I was there for the BerlinBrettspielCon trade fair and it was great.

We were in Berlin over the weekend. The trade fair we attended was at the Estrel Hotel. We booked our accommodations not far from there. The rooms are very spacious. There are plenty of restrooms.

My stay at the Hotel Estrel was quite good. Upon arrival, the reception was particularly friendly and helpful, but this changed over the course of my stay. The room on the 16th floor was good, but there were dirty stains on the curtains and on the wall by the window, which detracted from the overall appearance of the room. There was also dust in the bathroom. I don't generally mind such things, but they don't match the price or the hotel's reputation. That's a real shame. While the hotel is easily accessible by public transport, the journey can be a bit tiring if you're traveling from Berlin Central Station with large suitcases.

Everything was super good. I'll be back!

We stayed at the hotel for six days and enjoyed its spaciousness, especially for guests with limited mobility. The only drawback: the hotel's underground parking garage is only suitable for vehicles up to 1.90 m (6'3") tall. The alternative parking space is about 200 m (200 yards) away, which is a limitation for guests with disabilities.

We've stayed at the Estrel Hotel several times. It's an impressive hotel with a very nice lobby and breakfast area. The rooms are beautiful, equipped with everything you need and a little more. Unfortunately, some of the furniture in some rooms shows signs of wear... The service is very friendly, and everyone is always helpful. The location makes the hotel ideal for us to visit family. We love staying here!

I recently had the opportunity to stay one night at this hotel during a business trip. The hotel makes a very good impression it’s beautifully designed and well maintained. The reception staff were very professional and welcoming. The rooms are quite comfortable. What impressed me the most was the breakfast. The selection was incredibly wide, with something for everyone. You could even sit on the terrace and enjoy your meal in peace. There were plenty of staff available, and the service was excellent. The breakfast itself was truly delicious. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at this hotel especially with breakfast included, as it’s absolutely worth it!

Excellent convention center and a great hotel with a very nice lobby. Perhaps not very attractive from the outside, and the gym is too small for the size of the hotel. But very well located, right next to the new city highway. Very good service and good staff.

Great hotel. I can only give reviews of the rooms based on what my friends have said. Parking is very good. It's very clean. The location is okay, but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. I was here for a board game convention, which was great, and the prices were a bit cheaper than last year.

I'm changing my opinion, even though I had written a good review, because more than 20 days have passed and they haven't resolved the extra charge they made us "in error." They have friendly team members who strive to provide good service, the location isn't bad, and the food is good, but it's unfortunate that other members of staff are affected by making charges "in error" (as we've been told many times). It's unbelievable that, as a hotel hosting events with people from other countries, they don't have a single person who speaks good English. Fortunately, we were able to discuss our issue with some employees, but there were Mexican and Filipino guests who couldn't express themselves well (what would have happened if they had been charged and didn't understand?). It's supposed to be true if we have an extra charge for adding a guest, however, two charges were made, and one isn't correct. And before you reply, please contact us by email. We've already done that, thank you. The event staff have also contacted us.

The €25 breakfast is supposed to be good, but I found the price too high for what you can get for a good lunch or dinner in Berlin. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the hotel bar staff were too aloof and unprofessional for the area.

Wellness Weekend at the Estrel Hotel We had a wonderful weekend at the Estrel Berlin and were absolutely thrilled! Great service, friendly staff, a beautiful room, a lovingly prepared breakfast, and a relaxing sauna area – simply perfect. Despite the size of the hotel, the walks were pleasantly short, and we felt very comfortable at all times. I was here with 2,000 people. A good conference venue. Sleeping, eating, and holding meetings – all in one. Even for the size, the food lines were relatively short (about 5 minutes). I had to get used to the prices. €5 for half a liter of mineral water is quite steep.
