Very, very nice people.....the food and service were very good.....we would be happy to come back. The owners try really hard and have had success with us.

We have been guests there for many years and have always enjoyed going there, especially before concerts. The name and perhaps the owner changed every now and then, but the last time we were disappointed for three reasons: - The pizza was mostly mozrerella, a few slices of toppings and a lot of fat. Actually tasted mainly like mozerella, not like the topping and was bland. - The red wine came out of the fridge and was cold. - There was a monitor hanging on the wall with loud music coming out of it. The request to turn it down was accepted, but it was still not possible to have a proper conversation. Too bad. But that's no fun anymore.

Incredibly slow, not only the food but also spices, drinks, etc. Everything takes forever, until you get salt, the food is eaten. Also pretty rude

I've been there twice so far because the pizza is simply amazing. Unfortunately that's the only thing... I was the only guest, but I still had to wait 10 minutes until I received a very grubby card. Unfortunately there is no cider, the dry red wine was served with ice cubes, the blackcurrant spritzer (according to the menu 0.33 l) was served lukewarm in a 0.25 l cider glass...very funny... The outside area is unkempt and dirty, the fish waste stinks from the garbage can. The boss seems to be trying to do as much as she can, but prefers to sit in the dining room and watch TV. I have the impression that there are no professionals at work here who know their way around gastronomy. What a shame!

The ice cream 🍨 here is simply amazing. Rarely have I eaten such delicious 😋 ice cream 🍨.

This restaurant with an outdoor terrace. There you sit on folding garden chairs that are relatively uncomfortable for me. The interior area where we stayed was nicely and comfortably furnished. There is a large television on the wall with loud music playing. Service staff relatively friendly. A good 30 minutes had passed by the time we got the starter. You can watch the pizza baker prepare the pizza. This is then baked in an open fire in a charcoal oven. Delicious. The pasta was okay, the finished tortellini was still relatively hard, the cream sauce was tasteless. Also the bruscetta with tomatoes, 3 small narrow slices of pizza, some lettuce and tomatoes, well for the price, I can expect more. Never again I went to the toilet, which unfortunately wasn't clean, then sat there without toilet paper and then to top it off, after washing my fingers, I didn't have any paper towels to dry off with either 🤨🤔👿 Where is the mistake??! I told an employee. No excuses nothing!!! Unfortunately nothing special here. Prices in the upper range. A no go for the performance

Food was delicious. Service friendly. Prices are appropriate.

Very fast, friendly service outside. There were even blankets ready as it was still quite cool. The drinks came quickly as did the food, which was good. Overall, we were all satisfied with the food and service, the price is completely within the range of what you pay in restaurants in this area.

Top Pizza - the shop has changed its name 3 times in the last 5 years. The pizza still tastes good - but the prices are no longer acceptable - pizza ham onion 10 euros - salami - peppers 10.50 - from 8 euros you will see us more often again

A huge plus of this establishment is that the owner meets you and communicates with you. They also work on weekends from morning to evening. The inside of the restaurant is cozy, colorful and comfortable. The owner of the establishment offers you coffee while you wait for your pizza order. Very conducive to the next visit. I recommend!

Small restaurant with friendly, attentive service. The pizza wood oven is in the guest room. The pizza maker lets you look over his shoulder and his product comes to the table hot and crispy. Everything was very tasty and appetizing. The guest room consists of two rooms. Unfortunately, these don't keep up with the good pizza. The seating is tight. The decoration consists primarily of an oversized TV in which the same program always runs in an endless loop. There is a clear need for improvement here. If the very friendly namesake manages to raise the ambience to the same level as the food, Esters could become a real insider tip. Parking spaces can be found in the surrounding area. It's a few minutes walk to the Centennial Hall. Therefore, the pizza can be easily combined with an event. Then you should reserve a table in advance.

Ordered at 6:30 p.m. delivered at 8:10 p.m. Pizza tastes good, but unfortunately it's no longer warm. There is no dressing in the salad. Tasted good but delivery service was a huge disaster

We spontaneously ate pizza here before a concert in the Jahrhunderthalle, which was delicious and reasonably priced. The service is friendly and accommodating. Only the YouTube music that was playing on a TV was a bit inappropriate for the ambience.

An extremely friendly and open-minded service that remains calm and courteous even in stressful times. The restaurant, run by Armenians, could be charitably described as having a simple atmosphere. The plants are dry, the not very inviting sanitary facilities lack a towel dispenser and you have to dry your hands with toilet paper. The toilet smells, it seems like it is not cleaned every day. The pizza is large, comes from the wood-fired oven, but the taste is rather negligible. We only noticed other dishes visually and at least they seemed ok.

The stone oven pizza is super tasty with fresh ingredients, and the value for money is also great. One star is deducted for the loud, inappropriate electronic music from the TV in the corner, which doesn't fit at all with the ambience of the cozy Italian restaurant. You can't pay by card, although all card payments are displayed with a sticker at the bar and there is no way to settle your hands in the men's room. But I'll be happy to come back because of the pizza and maybe the other criticisms will be resolved then.

Is a post with 0 stars. We didn't let the previous negative reviews stop us and reserved a table for 3 people, what can I say? - it was a complete failure. When we got to the restaurant on time, there were no tables left. We were told 2 people are leaving at once. The remaining table was occupied by a group of four people who had also made a reservation. So we should also be committed to it. If we had known them, maybe not a problem, because we would hardly have had space to eat, but like that... The table was enough for 4-5 people. We left the restaurant disappointed and angry. NEVER AGAIN. If you don't have any seats available for reservations, you shouldn't accept reservations but say, come by, maybe something is available. Then you can take care of yourself. Places are assigned randomly. It is full because many people stop there before a performance in the Jahrhunderthalle. But the operators forget that there isn't always something in the Jahrhunderthalle and this means they miss out on "normal" visitors who would also visit the pizzeria outside of events. The whole thing around it also made a chaotic impression, but that wouldn't be a bad thing if you could control it, and this probably wasn't the case either.

Immer wieder gerne. Versuchen mindestens alle zwei Wochen dort essen zu gehen. Super lecker.

Haben einen Tisch reserviert weil wir in die Jahunderthalle wollten. Es war sehr voll, als wir unser Essen bekommen haben, wussten wir auch warum. Ich selten eine so gute Pizza gegessen wie hier. Aus dem Holzkohle Ofen war toll und man konnte Zuschauen wie die Pizza gemacht wurde. Die Nudeln waren auch sehr lecker. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Es beginnt mit einem freundlichen Lächeln, bestellt, isst und stellt fest: es passt alles. Super lecker, unbedingt weiter empfehlen.

Kleiner Laden, man wird wahllos zu anderen Personen an den Tisch gesetzt, trotz geringer Auslastung. Hat sich bis zum Ende des Abends auch nicht geändert. Vorspeise wurde vergessen, Salat kam mit kaltem Rind. Wurde mit der Aussage „ist ja ein Salat“ quittiert. Das Personal hat keine Lust auf Kundenkontakt, Kartenzahlung nicht möglich, obwohl an der Tür angeschlagen… wohl vom Vorbesitzer. Einziger Lichtblick: Die Pizza war grandios. Am besten zum Mitnehmen bestellen und den Rest getrost ignorieren.

Das Essen vor Ort ist wirklich sehr lecker und traditionell gekocht. Wie man es von der Italienischen Küche kennt und liebt! Service ist auch immer zuvorkommend gewesen. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist normal für heutige Restaurants. Hab eigentlich nichts negatives zu berichten bis jetzt. Auch der Lieferservice ist super und auch da, ist das Essen schnell geliefert, warm und lecker. Weiter so!

Thunfisch Zwiebeln war meine Pizza.. hammer lecker war sie und gross...ich bin dort nicht zum letzten mal aufgeschlagen So es mein Geldbeutel erlaubt, werd ich dort mein Essen holen.

Eine kleine, aber urgemütliche Gaststätte. Wir hatten Pizza, die war phantastisch. Sehr nettes Personal und angemessene Preise.

Essen ist einigermaßen... Viel viel zu teuer für viel zu kleine Portion... Zusammengerechnung auf Handy ohne Bon...

Luigi, bester Mann am Pizza Ofen... Beste Pizza im Viertel. Diese ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Salate sind 1A und in der familiären Athmosphäre ist auch der Austausch mit dem Servicepersonal eine echte Wonne. Essensempfehlungen waren on-point!

To read the reviews on Google it seems, that something changed the last weeks. So I asked. Some weeks ago the owners managed the restaurant by themselves. Result? Quality is rising. Service very kind. Food very well. Menu with 'Tagliatelle with Zucchini and prawns', a salad together and a Trio from the oven, Tiramisu as a final together with a coffee. Nice! We enjoyed it and liked the service. Thank you!

Sehr nettes Lokal mit italienischer Küche, sie haben sogar eine Tageskarte; die Tagliatelle mit Zucchini und Shrimps waren ausgezeichnet, Tagliatelle haben so geschmeckt als wären sie selbst von Hand gemacht; beim Tagesgericht war auch ein Tiramisu dabei.... ebenso excellent... Service sehr nett... Klare Weiterempfehlung, echt top... Und sehr nach zur Jahrhunderthalle in Frankfurt (fußläufig schnell erreichbar); Parkplätze vorhanden und kostenlos (an der Straße), vielleicht auch ein Argument das Lokal zu besuchen und die Parkgebühr bei der Jahrhunderthalle zu sparen 😉

Wir hatten uns das La-Isola ausgesucht, weil wir vor einem Event in der Jahrubderthalle noch lecker essen wollten, und waren begeistert! Als erstes: Bedienung TOP... hier arbeitet jemand noch gerne bedient. Sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kompetent. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Essen war sehr, sehr lecker. Wir hatten Lachsfilet und Scallopino. Die Pizzen am Nachbartisch waren rießig und sahen lecker aus. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmals. Vielen Dank

Super leckere Pizza. Unsere Bedienung war richtig toll sehr zuvorkommend und super nett. Da merkt man das sie ihren Job mag. Super um sich vor einer Veranstaltung in der Jahrhunderthalle zu stärken.

Tolle und leckere Pizzeria vor der Jahrhunderthalle, gerade wenn man zum Konzert möchte. Der Holzbackofen für die Pizza ist der Hammer und das hausgemachtes Tiramisu ist eine Sünde wert.

Von der Lasagne bis zur Pizza Margherita wird alles mit frischen und qualitativ hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Verpasse nicht das köstliche hausgemachte Tiramisu. Die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich und perfekt für ein romantisches oder familiäres Abendessen. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, La Isola zu besuchen, um gutes italienisches Essen zu genießen.
