It's a restaurant that I initially expected a lot from based on the high reviews. But you have to try it yourself because the taste of the food doesn't really correspond to the price. The staff is friendly even though it was very busy. It's loud in the restaurant and I felt pressured the whole time because it's so tight. Space is so limited that another guest's butt almost touched my face as I tried to walk through

Tasty and original cuisine, quite rare in the area. The service is very pleasant and fast. Special mention for the honey wings and the fajitas, a treat, if you like ribs you will be served (pork and beef)! I will definitely come back

Food actually doesn't taste particularly good. Was there twice. Not tasty both times. Very expensive too. Not worth it. There are much better restaurants in Lörrach. It doesn't taste like Mexico either.

My daughter invited me to dinner at my favorite restaurant, Esquina, for my birthday today. It's such a great place with warm and attentive staff and fantastic food in a cozy atmosphere, you feel like you're at home. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Esquina and can recommend it to everyone.

Today we visited the Esquina restaurant. Overall the food was of very good quality. The dishes were freshly prepared and requests were catered for! The service was attentive and very friendly. The waiters were always present without seeming intrusive. Orders were taken quickly and correctly and food was served in a reasonable time. The ambience of the restaurant was pleasant and well thought out. The background music was subtle (not too loud). Overall, our visit to Esquina was very satisfactory. It offers an excellent combination of quality food, professional service and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who prefers Mexican dishes. We're always happy to come back! Mexico? Europe is more likely to try Mexican We spontaneously went to eat at Esquina and unfortunately we were misled by the “Mexican”. It's more of a European interpretation of Mexican without having to deal with the spices of Mexico. To do this, try simply baking it with cheese and topping it with ready-made sauces. Steak was "well done" (maybe even a bit more) istead of "medium." Everything else was ok. The prices are maybe a bit high. You can eat in Basel for the same amount

I visited Esquina Lörrach with friends in October 2024. We had reserved our table in advance by phone. We were greeted very friendly and were given a table immediately. The tables in the room were very narrow and it was very loud in the dining room. We were served quickly and received delicious and great attention from the house. We were able to order quickly and everything came quickly. Taste was great all around! Towards the end you could have been more attentive, you probably would have sold one or two more drinks, maybe even a dessert. Prices were local, but like all restaurants in the border region of Switzerland, they were 2-3 euros too high. Conclusion: A successful, great evening with delicious food. One point deducted for the narrowness and the loudness.

The restaurant is extremely busy. When I made the reservation 1 day in advance, I was informed that a stay of 1 - 1.5 hours would only be possible. But that's not a problem, as the very good food is served very quickly by the friendly waiters. There was even a greeting from the kitchen beforehand. The portions are generous. The only downer was the noise in the restaurant, also due to the narrow seating. But I've never seen a Mexican restaurant that was fully booked.

The food was really cool. We had tacos and steak. It came quickly even though it was very busy and the staff were also very polite and helpful. I got a main course, a cocktail and a dessert for €35. By the way, at the beginning you get a drink and nachos for free which is super cool. Definitely recommended.

Went to Esquina for lunch for the first time today, it was perfect from start to finish!

Absolutely great. The service was perfect, from the greeting to the ordering and farewell, just great. A big compliment to the gentlemen from the service. You immediately feel comfortable and the food is very good. There were two of us and we ordered three dishes and shared them. Everything is freshly prepared and the dessert, the tiramisu, was also very tasty. Value for money is excellent and we will definitely be back very soon. Doesn't take a lunch break, so it was completely full outside, but almost empty inside. Gluten free they have mozzarella and tomato, fries and various chicken wings and steaks. I had the fries and they are really good. When asked in the kitchen, people also asked whether the tartar sauce was gluten-free, which it was, and the whole issue of gluten intolerance was taken very seriously. Very refreshing when you're never really taken seriously. Unfortunately no gluten-free desserts but maybe that will come.

First, thank you very much for the incredible hospitality! I booked a table at the last minute for my mom's birthday and we were super delighted! It's our new favorite restaurant! The owner and the entire team are very friendly and attentive. They even organized little surprises, although I hadn't mentioned anything. The best thing was when they turned off all the lights and brought out a dessert with a sparkler, and then the whole team applauded for my mom! We recommend this restaurant with all our hearts! The food is authentic and delicious!

We were here for the first time yesterday, at lunchtime for a salad bowl and queso bred, then again in the evening and were absolutely thrilled! Super nice staff, fast, attentive service, very tasty food. Awesome and never experienced anything like this: 1 welcome drink and a plate of small things (see photo) on the house. You will also be greeted with a handshake. We would come here again and again! Oh, the long island ice tea was also great.
