Enjoy in Bautzen

For the first time in my life, I'm writing a negative review, because the food we ate yesterday in this hole was, unfortunately, the worst I've ever eaten in my life. Right from the start, I was surprised by the huge selection of food, which in itself is not a good sign, the restaurant cooks everything possible, or rather it has already been cooked and will only heat it up. My wife and I had a soljanka, unfortunately the soup was disgusting, oversalted to the maximum, boiling (it was probably heated in the microwave for a very long time), tasted awful, and instead of cream, slahacka was sprinkled on top. As a second course, the wife ordered a schnitzel with fries and salad. The meat was oversalted, partially burnt, the fries were probably made in old oil, the salad was under the hot meat, which means that the cucumbers and salad were practically hot. In addition, there was probably potato salad on the plate, which we preferred not to touch. Unreal disaster. During lunch, a housewife was planting flowers or replanting in front of the bar. The worst gastronomic experience was nailed by the sentence at the end that they only accept cash. This business is a shock!

We just wanted to have a quick lunch here, unfortunately the service was initially quite unfriendly and we had to wait over an hour for our soups and a potato pancake. The food was okay, average. Prices okay. Overall, still rather disappointing.

For me, the *Café Enjoy* is the perfect place in Bautzen to indulge in culinary delights, end the evening relaxing with a drink or simply spend a good time in a beautiful atmosphere. Absolutely recommended!!!

very very tasty and cheap too! Unfortunately there is no menu in Braille... what a shame! You can have it printed at Sehnix in Senftenberg and then advertise with it.

Everything is very nicely decorated, only the steps could be a little more illuminated 😜 otherwise a tripping hazard, otherwise beautiful and great facilities

Based on a recommendation, we wanted to eat lunch here today. Unfortunately we were unlucky. The employee must have had a bad day. Even when asked while ordering drinks, the attitude towards the job and the guests was more than questionable. That's why we decided to leave the restaurant. Maybe this should be improved as it is not the first entry about the service staff!

It's slowly but surely becoming my favorite local restaurant in the city. Food good service good. I can't complain about the ambience either.

Wir sind sonntags mittags eingekehrt. Die Einrichtung ist doch in die Jahre gekommen und wohl Geschmackssache. Aber wir hatten eine sehr, sehr nette Bedienung. Die Karte wie hier überall extrem Fleisch- und sahnelastig. Smoothie war sehr lecker. Milchcafé auch. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lokalen hier war die Rückfrage nach veganer Zu Reizung eines Gerichtes dann auch noch überraschend überhaupt gar kein Problem! Dafür gibt's von mir einen Extrapunkt! Toller Service, wo ich den am wenigsten vermutet hätte. Unser aller Essen hat uns geschmeckt und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

We were given a table near the door to the Raucher Lounge. The smell of smoke took over... It was not fun. Make sure it's smoke free everywhere!!!!!

I took the liberty of moving the table, which was far too close to it for sitting in a beach chair, and was immediately shouted at in a very unfriendly manner by the waitress.

We were there with a group of several people. Putting the tables together outside was undesirable. Weather was good, most guests sat outside. The service was slow, we had to wait a long time. The food looked and tasted OK. Unfortunately only lukewarm. It should also be noted that payment can only be made in cash here.

Great restaurant and café bar. Delicious food, whether it's cake time or dinner. We were at the best time for chanterelles and there was a special menu with many delicious dishes. Kudos also to the waitresses, who always remained friendly despite the full house, never became hectic and always took time for a quick chat. 🤩

- Unfortunately the crepe wasn't really cooked through yet, it was almost raw dough. - Cocktail Bloody Mary was not prepared according to the recipe... There was just way too much lemon juice, hardly any tomato juice (it was very pale) and tons of pepper. The bar staff should probably read the recipe again: 12 cl tomato juice with a pinch of pepper and salt, a splash of Tabasco, 1 cl lemon juice!!! and 4 cl vodka. There was also a vegetable patch on the cocktail consisting of lettuce, lamb's lettuce, radishes, tomatoes and cucumber with balsamic vinegar?! What's wrong with that? - Decoration of crepe, ice cream and cake was delicious. - Cash only... what century are we living in?!

The staff is very unfriendly and you sit for a long time until someone comes to serve you. The food and drinks are still great, but if you have to wait so long you lose the fun.

ATTENTION NO EC CARD READER AVAILABLE! You could always pay by card at Enjoy, unfortunately this is no longer possible. Unfortunately I find it really annoying, especially these days. But that's a matter of opinion. But now to the positive... The food and cocktails are always delicious. The selection of cocktails in particular is huge. The service is usually always very friendly. But in my opinion the waiters are always understaffed.

When we asked for a card, we were told in a rude/annoyed tone that the car was self-service. The on-site service is hard to beat in terms of unfriendliness. Another waitress only asked one of the three people what she wanted to order and brazenly left out the others - only served one of the three people (we were visibly sitting together at the table). Not worth another visit!

Für zwei G’Spritzte (also Weinschorle) gab man uns Papierbecher. Unsere Bitte nach einem Weinglas dafür, wurde abgetan damit, dass mit Gläsern „zuviel Bruch passiert“. Andere Gäste hatten aber Gläser (!). Fazit: Unfreundlich, unflexibel, schwach. Es bleibt bei diesem einzigen Besuch….

You are asked if you even want to look at the menu...if you have a card you wait for over 15 minutes without being able to place an order successfully... In the bar area all the employees have time to chat during this time. Zero points for this shop

Food was ok. Waiting time very long. Whether you need a saltwater aquarium with wild catches in this day and age is extremely questionable.

Unfortunately I was fobbed off when I asked what flavors of ice cream there were, look at the menu and pick out the flavors from the sundaes, I'll go to the Italian restaurant above again and won't stay there the next time I'm in Bautzen, service is something different, that would be it If we hadn't already ordered anything else, we would have all gone straight back

We witnessed an incredible situation. A child claims that the ice cream and the napkin are full of hair. Other guests and the entire team checked this immediately and it was definitely not the case. It is admirable how confidently the team handled the situation. As a guest, it really hurts me to see the situations that have to be dealt with. Respect to the entire team. We have been guests for years and always enjoy coming back. Super nice team, great food and a friendliness that you can hardly find anywhere else. Keep it up and don't get angry.

I'm there every now and then. Food is okay as a snack. You have to be lucky with beer - sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's almost undrinkable because it's stale and/or warm. And I know that working in the catering service is not always easy and my rating will certainly be counted as one of them: But individual employees are really so unfriendly and annoyed by their job, and have apparently been doing so for years, that you really lose interest in enjoying. That probably doesn't interest anyone anyway because it's mostly visited by tourists, but I mean it constructively because there's enough competition. Update: We dared to do it again this week and bitterly regretted it again - now it was really the last time. Subterranean service, endless waiting times, zero communication, food on the lower level... the only good thing here is the constant... i.e. constant bad. PS: Still no card payment. Only a few receipts... I wonder when the tax office will take action here.

We got there after midnight on Saturday night and were still served drinks. Very customer oriented and friendly staff at this time. Thank you for that.

Had a very nice start to a movie night with food and wine. Had a bit of an unfortunate spot, right at the entrance at the counter. The food was delicious and rich. The chef, when he is "in love", should have better control of the salt shaker 😉. We'd love to come back

Good, yes, we were in this beautiful restaurant today, the tables are huge, there's a lot of space, I think there's enough room for 12 people, we can do it there, otherwise, a little more for four-person tables, but it's ok, it's served quickly, but as for the food, I don't know, I think it was a cutlet. made early, not freshly made, but I could be wrong, overall atmosphere, service, quick, efficient, plenty of alcohol, nice place, parking right next to it, you can come, eat, relax, drink coffee, eat cake, go further, I recommend

Very good selection with poor implementation. Unfortunately, the icing was missing on both hot milk drinks we ordered. When we asked, we were told in a relatively unfriendly manner that the cream machine had already been switched off and that the cream had been replaced with milk foam. Unfortunately without any verbal information from the staff and without any discount. We found that less okay - because milk foam on a milk drink is not cream and is unacceptable at €4.90.

A very nice service and a totally in love cook, at least judging by the totally over-salted sauce. We were visiting Bautzen and stumbled upon Enjoy by chance while looking for a restaurant. The selection was great. You just couldn't decide which of the many delicacies on the menu you should take. The portions were shockingly generous and the prices were very reasonable. Which really surprised us. Everything was tasty and all the dishes were decorated right down to the last detail. A chef with love and passion. The best thing about our visit, however, was seeing service staff who delivered top service and were super friendly in a very well-stocked store. And that is no longer normal in today's gastronomy. A big compliment to the team and thank you that something like this still exists. Greetings from Dresden. We would like to have you in our city...

We went there for coffee with my father-in-law 1. The coffee was cold 2. An 84 year old was called by the young waitress...disrespectful 3. Burnt the egg wash and cover the burnt with powdered sugar 4. There was no invoice and I think we paid too much according to our invoice

So you had me with the song Bar Terrorists. Simply great. We went for dinner. Ok, the menu is clear and prices are a bit higher, but everything is fine. Service is friendly but not for the impatient. Overall, we would recommend it and we would be happy to come back when we are in BZ again.

Service war leider etwas überfordert weil wir für einen anderen Tag eingeschrieben waren als wir telefonisch bestellt hatten. Nichts desto trotz bekamen wir einen Platz. Wir mussten warten bis bei uns alle Leute anwesend waren und ab da brauchten wir Geduld, ob beim Bestellen oder dann auch bezahlen. Wahrscheinlich lag es an dem Tag, wsr Silvester u da waren für die Abendveranstaltung andere Dinge zu erledigen. Das Ambiente ist aber wirklich schön. Wir besuchen das Enjoy trotzdem gern mal wieder wenn wir in der Nähe sind.

Waren vor kurzem dort essen. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön, man fühlt sicht sofort wohl. Die Angestellten waren super freundlich, als würde man sich schon kennen. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet . Eine Wahnsinnsportion und mega lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Gemütliches Restaurant im Herzen von Bautzen. Der Service sehr gut und zuvorkommend. Das Essen, Hähnchenbrust in Mandeln-Honig Kruste und Tagliatelle mit Hähnchenstreifen in Lebkuchensoße waren sehr lecker. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Cocktails aus der großen Auswahl an nicht alkoholischen und alkoholischen Kreationen.

Kleines, gemütliches Lokal das wirklich zum „enjoyen“ einlädt. Guter, freundlicher Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Hat ohne Reservierung geklappt, um den Weihnachtsregen zu entkommen. Wir sehen uns sicher wieder! ☺️

Die Bedienung war top. Waren in einer größeren Gruppe unterwegs und es ist nichts untergegangen und trotz Stress alles super freundlich. Essen und Getränke waren gut. Nur die Tische waren für unseren Zweck etwas ungünstig gestellt.

Das kann man nur empfehlen. Mehr als zwei Leute sollten am Wochenende reservieren. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Ich habe nichts gegessen und kann es nicht beurteilen. Kartenzahlung war an dem Tag nicht möglich, aber es stand groß an der Tür.

Der Service ist beeindruckend, wir sind in der letzten Zeit einiges gewöhnt gewesen. Hier scheinen die Servicekräfte vom Fach zu sein. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden. ❤️ Ich kann das Hähnchenfilet in Senfkruste sehr empfehlen und die Sächsische Schokolade war der Hammer. Vielen Dank, wir kommen wieder..

Tolles Ambiente, gute Küche, faire Preise, freundliche und kompetente Bedienung

Ein sehr schöner Ort, um sich abends auf ein kleines Getränk zu treffen. Die Preise und das dafür Gebotene ist auch sehr stimmig. Die Musik war dezent zu laut, aber ansonsten eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre :D

Leider muss ich sagen das wir von dem Preis- Leistungs Verhältnisses nicht überzeugt sind. Der Fruchtspieß war definitiv nicht frisch. Die Weintraube hat geschimmelt und die Melonenscheibe sichtbar wer weiß wie alt und hätte locker zum schnapps brauen gereicht wo wie sie roch. Des weiteren war das Personal sichtbar genervt von einem.

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, gutes Essen und eine große Auswahl an Cocktails.

Tja, irgendwie wollte man uns hier nicht. Oder lag es schlicht an der Überforderung des jungen Kellners, der offensichtlich alles allein wuppen musste? Eigentlich hatten wir uns einen netten Platz gesucht, auf dessen dazugehörigem Tisch kein gebrauchtes Geschirr stand! Und dann warteten wir .... Leider zu lange! Schade!

Zum Ausklang eines Klassen Treffens zum Absacker da eingekehrt. Getränke kamen relativ schnell, kein Wunder es wuselten 5 Leute hinterm Tresen rum. 🤔Beim Bezahlen war es nicht möglich mit Karte zu zahlen und nach dem ich es kommentierte natürlich in der heutigen Zeit negativ belastet, wurde mir Hausverbot angedroht von der Kellnerin. Ich als ehemaliger Bautzener werde in diesem Geschäft kein Getränk mehr bestellen und allen Gästen empfehlen diesen Laden zu meiden. Ich arbeite selber 35 Jahre in der Gastronomie. Diese Frau sollte in unsere Branche aufhören...

Anders als andere Kritiker muß ich vehement widersprechen. Ich wurde sehr gut "rasiert", d.h. meine Platzreservierung wurde trotz Weihnachtsstress realisiert...und es war GUT. Empfehlung: Hirschgoulasch, am 2. Tag Roulade. Mag sein, daß ich von wirklich guter Küche keine Ahnung habe, aber beide Abendessen waren SPITZE. Respekt an die Köchin. Zum Personal: Freundlich und flott. So hab ICH es erlebt, und ich kann - nach meiner Erfahrung - nur sagen: Probiert es aus und lasst euch Überraschen. Es wird sich lohnen. Preis - Leistungsverhältniss ist voll in Ordnung, erreichbar in der Fußgängerzone im Zentrum von Bautzen. Aus meiner sScht: Absolut empfehlenswert.
