Centrally located, busy. After a short wait, we were served, and our drinks arrived promptly. The food (liver sausage with fried egg, fried potatoes, and a side salad) arrived a little later, was generously portioned, and of good quality. The service was professional and friendly—we would happily recommend this restaurant.

Soups are considered their specialty. Unfortunately they are not tasty, but the pricing is high. Not sure why people rate this restaurant so high, maybe the second dishes are better. Service was ok though. Also, it's 2025 and they don't accept cards yet.

The server serves all the guests who arrived after me, and she skillfully ignores me several times... outrageous... just because I'm alone and not in a large group where there's obviously more business to be made. What a shame!!!!

The price-performance ratio was okay. We had six different dishes, and all of them were delicious. The homemade lemonades were excellent, and the ambiance was pleasant and cozy.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ I recently had the misfortune of eating at the Enjoy Café in Bautzen, and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. We ordered carpaccio, which unfortunately not only looked bad but also tasted rancid. When I complained to the waitress, I didn't even receive an apology—she simply took it back and seemed to have little concern for our concerns. My wife opted for the homemade mint and strawberry lemonade, which was so overly sweetened with mint syrup that it tasted more like mouthwash. A real no-go! The only positive thing was the non-alcoholic wheat beer. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing quality of the food and the inattentive service. The service was sluggish and unfriendly, which made the whole experience even more unpleasant. Overall, I can't recommend the Enjoy Café. It remains to be hoped that the operators will take these problems seriously in order to improve the quality for future guests.

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Bautzen. Large portions, delicious food, prices are nice compared to other restaurants, but you have to wait a bit. Large selection of desserts and cocktails. I recommend

The food and drinks were both appealing and tasty. The waiters were on the ball and very friendly despite the stress.

Unfriendly service, cocktails served in beer glasses with spoiled fruit skewers. When I pointed out that the fruit was spoiled, I was told, "It's just the way it is!" No apology whatsoever. Beach chair was worn and cracked.

Delicious cocktails, great value for money, friendly service, great ambience

Unfortunately, I can't comment on the quality of the food, as we left after the unmotivated service. When you're greeted with a dropped jaw and only get a menu thrown at you when you ask for one (!), you just get up and go to another restaurant. Fortunately, there are others nearby. The service here should find another line of work, as customer service is apparently not one of their core competencies. Incidentally, this was our last visit to enjoy.

Actually, the atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately, the service isn't great. You have to wait forever for someone to come. Also, with a sign saying "Cash is king," it's completely out of date.

With this sign at the daily offers you feel really welcome, and then the cards are all mixed up and nobody comes... yes good question... but in this day and age not offering card payments is a bit stupid

Absolutely unfriendly staff! When asked if we could put two tables together outside, we simply received an unfriendly "NO" twice! (Male server on July 20, 2025) Without explanation, without anything... I thought it was meant ironically at first. We then moved on with seven people... If you don't need to generate revenue... then you just get a bad review. It was worth it! Not recommended!!!

We ate at Enjoy Essen today. It was packed, but the service was still very fast and super friendly. The starters and main course came very quickly, and everything tasted great. We'll be back soon.

What a surprise!!! We were on a short break in beautiful Bautzen and have already visited this wonderful place several times. Super friendly hospitality, a thoroughly enjoyable menu at any time of day. We were so impressed by the generous, lovingly prepared ice cream sundaes with fresh fruit and pretty decorations. In the evening, there was delicious food at really reasonable prices. See for yourself the excellent quality and sophistication of the dishes – highly recommended. The cocktails were amazing – and the price is unbeatable. That's why it's so busy. Reservations are recommended. Here we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the square and in a beach chair. The selection and service were impeccable.

No matter what time you arrive, there's always a spot available; you just need a little patience. Of course, it's better to reserve in advance – at least on weekends. We've always had luck so far. The staff often have a kind word or a quick joke on their lips. Of course, we're happy to go first, because what goes around comes around :-) As for the food: Simply delicious and tasty. As for the drinks: A huge selection of good cocktails. Beer and other drink prices are really great! Outside ambiance: If you snag a spot in a beach chair, you're in luck. Otherwise, it's cozy everywhere. And if you like people-watching, you've got a good chance too, thanks to the central location. Inside ambiance: Green windows, cozy, comfortable seats, and there's even a smoking lounge for those in need (smokers, of course). In short – we feel very comfortable at Enjoy and are happy to come back again and again!

During our visit to Bautzen, we spontaneously discovered this café/restaurant on the main market square. The outdoor area with its beach chairs immediately caught my eye. 😇 The service was very attentive, the ice cream sundaes are incredibly delicious, and the food tastes excellent. Because we enjoyed it so much on the first day, we went back on the second. 🙃 Highly recommended.

We were very disappointed. We had booked a table for a birthday party. To begin with, there was a round of drinks, then the food was ordered. The food was OK, the wine tasty. So far, everything was good. But during or after the meal, no one from the service team came to our table to ask if everything was OK or if we wanted another drink. 45 minutes after the meal, we were still sitting in front of the dirty plates and empty glasses. We then left and even went to the counter to pay because no one even came to take the money. They only accept cash! We would have liked to have sat for a while and ordered one or two more bottles of wine and beer. It didn't seem to be wanted. So the evening at Enjoy was a disappointment.

Short Saturday trip, spontaneous visit to Enjoy... Soilanka is absolutely delicious. Scrambled eggs with asparagus tips are highly recommended... Beer €3.90 (Kristall wheat beer) and Spritz €6.90...it's okay...highly recommended

The coffee is good, but the ice cream and the service behind it are unsatisfactory. I received the wrong ice cream and complained. 15 minutes later, I got the same cup with one scoop replaced. The rest of the ice cream was the same as before. It's a shame... it was better at Easter. The fruit in the second cup isn't of the quality I expected. It's a shame.

I've heard a lot of good things about the delicious spiced meat at Enjoy. Now I finally had the chance to try it for myself. It was really very good, and the portion was quite large 🤤 I ate a solyanka immediately afterward, but it was just about beaten by the spiced meat 😉 We sat outside safely under the umbrellas because it kept raining quite heavily. Our entire table thought the soup was too salty. The waitress preferred to discuss the problem with the guests at the next table and tried to make us look stupid. It's clear that this restaurant caters purely to tourists and has no interest in seeing its customers again.

The atmosphere is pleasant, both inside and outside. Waitress Katja was completely overwhelmed and snippy, not at all customer-friendly. The food was very good; the schnitzel with asparagus, fries, and vegetables were all slapped onto one plate, leaving no room for cutting the schnitzel, and the fries were soggy from the vegetables. The taste wasn't anything special, but it was okay. The omelet was great.

There were 12 of us at the café on Whitsun Sunday. A huge selection of delicious coffee blends at sensational prices. Each one was as delicious as the last. Due to the weather, we stayed until the evening and enjoyed this wonderful café with an incredible waitress (Ramona). She doesn't need a slip of paper for orders for 12 people; she remembers everything, and everything is amazing. The evening menu was also amazing, super delicious, and the prices were amazing; almost everything was under €20. A visit to enjoy in Bautzen is definitely worth it. Today I enjoyed the rump steak with asparagus on the terrace of the Enjoy Café in Bautzen and was extremely satisfied! The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and exceeded all my expectations. The service was quick and friendly, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The toilets were very clean, which is often neglected in a cafe. The excellent selection of cakes for dessert also deserves special mention - a real treat after a great meal. I can recommend this café to everyone and am already looking forward to my next visit!

It's okay. The prices are of course very excellent, €3.50 for a 0.4l Pepsi-Cola and €14.90 for a good portion of schnitzel fries in cream sauce (basically chicken fricassee without chicken). The asparagus schnitzel is quite expensive at almost €24 and there is little on it (see picture). The schnitzel itself is really not an incredible dish, the quality is okay but you notice the price. The apple pie was lovingly prepared and tasted very good. The service was in a semi-good mood, you could tell they were exhausted, there was no personal relationship between guest and waiter, but rather distant. The atmosphere - we sat outside - was really pleasant, the beach chairs are a cool idea and highly recommended when the weather is nice. All in all: 3/5 stars, you can eat it but it's not 5/5 star quality.

Wir haben als Familie dort zu Mittag gegessen. Das Essen meines Mannes war gut. Allerdings waren die Nudeln mit Tomatensoße von unserem Kleinen kalt und nicht gut. Die Soße war auch nicht rot, sondern orange. Der Teller war allerdings sehr heiß… Es erinnerte mich an Essen aus der Mikrowelle. Ich hatte das Schnitzel. Es war unglaublich zäh und hat geschmeckt als wenn es nicht mehr gut wäre. Nachdem ich die Kellnerin freundlich angesprochen habe, hat sie unfreundlich und inkompetent reagiert… Sie meinte, dass das Schnitzel immer so gemacht wird und das es garnicht schlecht schmecken kann…

Disaster! We had lunch there as a family. My husband's meal was good. However, our little one's pasta with tomato sauce was cold and not good. The sauce wasn't red either, but orange. However, the plate was very hot… It reminded me of microwave food. I had the schnitzel. It was incredibly chewy and tasted like it was no longer good. After I spoke to the waitress in a friendly manner, she reacted unfriendly and incompetently... She said that the schnitzel is always made that way and that it can't taste bad at all...

Hello, we were there yesterday evening and had a birthday party. The food was good, but of course it had become more expensive, like everything. The beer didn't taste good at all. It was Radeberger. The beer tasted like water, I think it was diluted with water. The color didn't look good either, it looked completely pale. Radeberger actually looks darker. I then drank a Jever to compare, and it wasn't much better.

The Kaiserschmarrn with plums was very good and a large portion. The seawater aquarium with corals, sea anemones and colorful fish is also beautiful to look at.

Enjoy in Bautzen, recommended without exception!!! Good food, great service and cozy. The whole team does its best every day to ensure that guests have a happy stay. Ich bin nach sehr vielen Jahren mit meiner Mutter nach Bautzen gefahren, um Unsere alte Heimat noch einmal zu besuchen. Gleich am ersten Abend erlebten wir folgendes. Wir wollten im „Enjoy“ nur was trinken, gingen hinein und fragten an der Theke, ob wir nur was trinken können. Die weibliche Bedienung brummelte sehr unfreundlich, dass sie mal schauen muss und rannte in die andere Richtung des Restaurants. Währendessen kamen einheimische Gäste und fragten nach einem Sitzplatz. Der Tisch vor der Theke wurde ihnen sofort zugeteilt. Ich sprach dann einen jungen Mann vom Service freundlich an, dass wir schon eine Weile warten. Dieser sagte, das ich doch mal runterkommen solle und er denkt, das es besser ist, wenn wir das Lokal verlassen. Ich schaute meine Mutter sehr erstaunt an und meinte zu ihr, komm wir gehen. Er sagte weiter ganz laut: „Ich glaube, es ist für uns alle besser, wenn Sie sofort das Lokal verlassen“. Als wir zur Tür gingen, brüllte er uns hinterher. „Dreckspack“. Wir waren völlig geschockt. Aus dem Nichts wurden wir in diesem Lokal beleidigt und angegriffen. Völlig indiskutabel. Einfach überhaupt nicht tragbar !

People have been coming here again and again for years. Great food at very fair prices.

We were there yesterday for the Christmas party, five people. The waiter wasn't just unfriendly, he was extremely annoyed and made everyone feel it. Answers were monosyllables, eyebrows raised, eyes rolled, and came to the table as rarely as possible. There was no history of this, this behavior was already exhibited when we entered the restaurant (and we made reservations long beforehand). I have always enjoyed going there for over 10 years, last night I was ashamed that I brought my team there for the Christmas party.

Yesterday we were here for the first time and were very pleased. Price/performance is right and the food is very good. A little more attention from the staff and the 5th star comes. Okay, the noise of the guests was very high for us old farts...but we'll be happy to come back....

I had a meeting in September for our annual class reunion on November 15th. had a table reserved and contacted me again shortly beforehand. We usually start at 3 p.m. because many people are from out of town. When I got there I was told we had to leave at 6pm as other guests were coming. Some people weren't even able to eat dinner in peace. We then had to leave so hastily because the other guests were already there that we couldn't even say goodbye properly. It would certainly have been possible to inform us about this during the last telephone conversation. That wasn't a good experience and we will consider holding our meeting at Enjoy again.

It was good, I'm happy that the young people met here.

We were in Bautzen again and really enjoy going to dinner here. Simply wonderful. Feel free to come back and keep it up. 👍

One of the best locals I've visited, and I've visited many!

For the first time in my life, I'm writing a negative review, because the food we ate yesterday in this hole was, unfortunately, the worst I've ever eaten in my life. Right from the start, I was surprised by the huge selection of food, which in itself is not a good sign, the restaurant cooks everything possible, or rather it has already been cooked and will only heat it up. My wife and I had a soljanka, unfortunately the soup was disgusting, oversalted to the maximum, boiling (it was probably heated in the microwave for a very long time), tasted awful, and instead of cream, slahacka was sprinkled on top. As a second course, the wife ordered a schnitzel with fries and salad. The meat was oversalted, partially burnt, the fries were probably made in old oil, the salad was under the hot meat, which means that the cucumbers and salad were practically hot. In addition, there was probably potato salad on the plate, which we preferred not to touch. Unreal disaster. During lunch, a housewife was planting flowers or replanting in front of the bar. The worst gastronomic experience was nailed by the sentence at the end that they only accept cash. This business is a shock!

We just wanted to have a quick lunch here, unfortunately the service was initially quite unfriendly and we had to wait over an hour for our soups and a potato pancake. The food was okay, average. Prices okay. Overall, still rather disappointing.

Based on a recommendation, we wanted to eat lunch here today. Unfortunately we were unlucky. The employee must have had a bad day. Even when asked while ordering drinks, the attitude towards the job and the guests was more than questionable. That's why we decided to leave the restaurant. Maybe this should be improved as it is not the first entry about the service staff!

Wir sind sonntags mittags eingekehrt. Die Einrichtung ist doch in die Jahre gekommen und wohl Geschmackssache. Aber wir hatten eine sehr, sehr nette Bedienung. Die Karte wie hier überall extrem Fleisch- und sahnelastig. Smoothie war sehr lecker. Milchcafé auch. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Lokalen hier war die Rückfrage nach veganer Zu Reizung eines Gerichtes dann auch noch überraschend überhaupt gar kein Problem! Dafür gibt's von mir einen Extrapunkt! Toller Service, wo ich den am wenigsten vermutet hätte. Unser aller Essen hat uns geschmeckt und wir waren sehr zufrieden.
