We weren't really happy this time. The reception was quite good. We quickly had our table. Since I still had to wait for my husband, I haven't ordered anything yet. And then it took a while until someone came to our table again. The food wasn't great this time either. Just dry and not okay in terms of price. We then sat dry for a long time until someone asked if we wanted something to drink. Then we wanted to pay but were ignored.

The store was packed on Saturday evening and the staff was still super friendly, relaxed and attentive. We felt completely comfortable, the food was delicious and so were the cocktails. The ambience and the music were also right. It's a shame we don't live in Leipzig, I would like to eat here more often.

If I book a table and give "celebration" as the reason, then I assume that I can sit comfortably, eat, drink and talk all evening. Unfortunately not here. When we arrived we were told that the table would be reserved again at 7:30 p.m. Disappointing. We decided to stay. That was a mistake. It was cold in the restaurant, and that didn't change over the duration of our visit. The cocktails had plenty of ice. The food was good, but nothing special. Maybe instead of happy hour, they should have kitchen staff who are familiar with Mexican cuisine. I could have lived with the uncreative food and watered down cocktails, but a table reservation for 2 hours should be communicated during the reservation process. This is underground!

Our first visit to Enchilada. It's a good thing we made reservations online, as it filled up very quickly once it opened. But once you find a seat, you will receive very friendly service. The selection of dishes on the menu seems a bit confusing at first, but you quickly find your way around. The service can also provide valuable tips. The delicious cocktails are also recommended. Bad and extremely embarrassing. Tuesday 10.30 p.m. - when we entered the shop (as a family) we were immediately sent out again with the words "there's nothing left today." Why are there opening times Tuesday until midnight? I won't enter the shed again. Great advertising - happy hour from 10:30 p.m. Great joke

We left after 3 hours, there were 11 of us and we had pre-ordered. Waited 45 minutes for drinks, other food was on display for 12 minutes to be delivered and the four of the staff stood behind the bar chatting and playing with their cell phones. We had no food after almost 3 hours and then left without food. Not recommended never again.

Went here again for a long time to have something to eat with friends, it was very loud as I remembered it. The decoration and ambience hadn't changed since the last time, about 7 years. Only the menu and prices have been renewed. The food we ordered was terrible for our taste, my friend's citizen was halfway through, when asked it was confirmed that it had to be that way! The next night she had diarrhea and vomited! Never again Enchilada Leipzig!!!

Very long waiting times, even though only about a quarter of the tables were occupied. Some of the staff stood around and played on their cell phones while we waited for service.

The best chicken caesar salad I've ever had, great mojito and my husband was so happy with the steak. I highly recommend it☺️

A very nice restaurant with an absolutely justified price-performance ratio. The food was very tasty and sufficient in terms of portion size. We were served very friendly. The fajitas are recommended, especially on a Sunday combined with the cocktail menu. The ambience also invites you to linger. Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars. This restaurant deserves more.

Very nice restaurant... unfortunately everything took a little longer... which is okay just before Christmas... which wasn't annoying... we were there with about 25 people... and our tables were very rarely cleared away..... some of it didn't look nice anymore.... but.... it was also stressful..... cocktails and food were great....

The cocktails at happy hour were very weak, the third one on the voucher felt like it had no alcohol at all. If you have intolerances, you've lost, because since nothing is freshly prepared and it's system catering there, you can't leave out any ingredient. All I had left was a burger. For €10.90 it was the same size as the cheap McDonald's burgers and was only topped with a patty and a lettuce leaf and a piece of onion. The portion of fries for €4.50 was smaller than the small portion at McDonald's, the fries themselves were only the size of a little finger, greasy, barely edible. At 8 p.m. we were asked for another round of drinks, which came at 8:15 p.m. and we were told to leave at 8:30 p.m., but we were still sitting there with a full glass. It was underground there. One point goes to the friendly person at the mulled wine stand and the mulled wine itself, that definitely enhanced the evening.

When choosing the food (I like to eat very spicy) I was given good advice as to which dishes could be prepared extra spicy - a shout out to the kitchen (extremely delicious). It was my first time and for the last time I was so looking forward to the cocktails. Happy hour is also totally okay considering the prices but what happened next was a total joke, there were 70% ice cubes in the glass and I pulled away from the straw twice he was. When I pointed this out, I only got the stupid answer that the recipes are always the same, no matter how much ice or how big the glass is, and I feel a bit ripped off

Es war ein wundervoller Abend, den wir dem Enchilada Team zu verdanken haben. Mit den vielen kleinen Überraschungen, die das Team spontan für unsere kleine Feier aus dem Hut gezaubert hat, haben wir nicht gerechnet und sind einfach nur dankbar. Das Essen, die Cocktails, Limonaden und das Dessert waren, wie immer, super lecker, und das Personal macht es einem sehr leicht, sich besonders wohlzufühlen. Ein Besuch ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!!!! ♡

Wir wollten einen, bei Enchiladas selbst gewonnenen, Gutschein einlösen. Der Manager verweigerte dies ohne Erklärungen. Auf Nachfrage bei einer anderen Mitarbeiterin reagierte diese sehr verständnisvoll und probierte Lösungen zu finden, was dem Manager gar nicht gefiel. Er verhielt sich sowohl gegenüber den Kunden als auch Mitarbeitern unfreundlich, knallte uns die Karzen wortlos auf den Tisch.

Food was great. First class cocktails. You shouldn't give away a corner table with a view of the corner of the house. Still a great restaurant.

Hardly any service. Waited over an hour for food. This was lying around (noticed while going to the loo) and was delivered cold. After commenting you got something new. Food wasn't that great. We were also in need of a drink because no one had asked if we wanted anything else. I refrain from going there again. Too bad.

I was there a while ago and it was actually very good. Today I was there with my two siblings and we were unfortunately disappointed by the sometimes poor and unfriendly service, the long waiting times and the very, very bad food. We've all been wanting to come here for weeks, but now none of us have any desire to come back any time soon. Unfortunately, the burritos were just very dry and didn't stand out in terms of taste at all because they weren't seasoned well at all. They taste very monotonous and mainly like rice. The tacos had probably been sitting there for a while, so they were soggy and tough and hard to eat. But we didn't feel like waiting any longer after we had already been in the restaurant for over an hour. In terms of price, the whole thing is steep for the small portions, especially since the burritos mainly consist of just rice and beans. I can do it much better and more unusually at home. Still, it's a nice shop with a lot of potential and I'm sure it doesn't always work out that way. I also think it's great that there is a vegan menu and many vegan offers and that everything is perfectly signposted on the menu. The drinks/sodas were great.

I've been to Enchilada many times and always loved it. Unfortunately not at all this time. We had to wait almost 2 hours for our food. Then it came cold or burnt and was completely over-seasoned this time. Cocktails were weak, even though it wasn't happy hour. It was also difficult to have a conversation because it was extremely loud this time. The service tried hard but was completely overwhelmed. This time there is no recommendation.

Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for food. 1 meal came wrong, the steak was tough and overcooked instead of medium as ordered, sweet potato fries were burnt and some were lukewarm. Unfortunately, the service didn't notice anything and didn't ask. We didn't want a replacement anymore because we didn't want to wait another hour. Too bad. Disappointment on all sides as there was of course no tip.

Terrible service by our waiter - Alejandro. This was back in September on our visit to Leipzig. I ordered a Margarita, asked him for this to be on-the-rocks and salt-on-the-rim. He actually told me he could not do salt-on-the-rim !! I was completely taken aback, I have travelled around the world and have never heard this answer. 10-15 minutes later Margarita was delivered by a sweet waitress - I asked her to get salt on the rim. She went back to the bar and got me glass of Margarita with salt on the rim, as it should be. Later when the food took forever to come I told Alejandro to cancel our food order, we will pay for the Margarita and leave. At this point, he was RUDE, literally ordering me to sit down. I have never, ever received such poor service, anywhere in the world. Some positives about this place - all other waitresses we interacted with were very friendly and sweet. Food was fine. But - avoid this place. There are many other places to eat in Leipzig.

Very great Mexican. Food was very tasty, cocktails too (tip is to take advantage of happy hour here!) Service was very friendly and quick. The design is superbly implemented. Das Personal ist super nett und bei Fragen hilfsbereit(Dankeschön an Leah). Essen war sehr lecker,alles frisch mit Vorspeisen und Hauptgang,wir waren rundum zufrieden;-)!

We ordered two sodas, a coke and tacos. The lemonades were inedible and when we asked, we were refused an exchange. Unfortunately the tacos didn't taste good either. The only thing that tasted good were the fries but even the sauce was tasteless. The cola came without fizz… I don’t need to say anything more.

You can have a delicious meal here if you have a lot of time. Service was totally overwhelmed... we waited over an hour for our food. It took half an hour to bring an item like a blanket because it was getting very cold after such a long wait on a late summer evening. At the end we were surprised with a lava cake that was still half frozen.

The interior design was great. I've never seen anything so fascinating before. It looks like a cave in Mexico. Unfortunately, I didn't quite get the real Mexican feeling and coziness. It was too loud for that. But that's not the owner's fault. Too many people, too crowded. The food was very tasty and tasted authentic. It was spicy, but you could taste every single ingredient everywhere. I personally found the sharpness very good. It had an overall concept - the food. I found the service good, but could be improved. I waited 15 minutes until my empty plate was cleared away, even though at least 5 colleagues walked past it during that time. Grade: 4.0 But maybe a little too expensive for the common man.

It's worth the wait! We arrived at dinner time and had to wait a while for our food, but it was absolutely delicious and filling. The service was really friendly and overall it was a great evening with a great atmosphere.

The drinks are quite good and there are always good happy hour offers. The food has nothing to do with Mexican dishes (there was no cheese in my quesadilla). Therefore not recommended if you want to eat Mexican food. Way too expensive.

Monday's "cocktails casino" was kind of a desaster this week. They used to let you roll the dice at your table but now we had to queue for about 45 min to do it at a "casino stand". Since we didn't want to go through the long wait again later, each of us rolled for two cocktails which had to be received from the bar right away. What I got was an overly sweet "Sex on the Beach" (the glass not even full) and a somewhat okay "Touch Down". They barely put any alcohol in them. I give two stars because I only paid 8€ for both of these disappointing drinks and not the full 9€ each. I still wouldn't come again.

Unfortunately, the place is very “used” and the food is very bland. At first the service was very nice, attentive and quick. We later called it a night after no service for over half an hour after our drinks were empty.

Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr gut, große Auswahl, alles sehr lecker und faire Preise. Besonders gefreut habe ich mich über den tollen Service. Das gesamte Personal war super nett und aufmerksam . Großes Kompliment. Der einzigste kleine Nachteil in meinen Augen, ist der Geräuschpegel. Es ist durch die Größe des Saals doch sehr laut. Insgesamt gesehen, ist es ein sehr gutes Restaurant und ich komme gern wieder.

We were here on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. for the cocktail happy hour. We were 40min! not served, everyone was just busy clearing up and no one thought it was necessary to serve us. After 40 minutes we were able to order and got our first drinks. Just 10 minutes later we were asked to do the “final round” because apparently there wasn't enough sales to keep the shop open... well, why? If you don't serve someone, there won't be any sales. Apparently everyone here just wanted to get home quickly. We're definitely never coming back. The Cockatils were also only 80% ice cream, so nothing to come back for.

Friday evening (11 p.m.), weekend, good vibes, cocktail time! But not in the “Enchilada Leipzig”. Advertisement Enchilada: From 10:30 p.m. - Cocktial HappyHour. When we arrive at Enchilada, the interior is empty, with “Reserved” signs on all the tables. We say a friendly “Hello” and ask “Alejandro” (name tag) for a table. He says, "no more food, just cocktails" and points to a table next to the open patio door. You could tell you weren't welcome here. After the first round of cocktails (cocktail 2/5 - watery, too much crushice), we were briefly informed that there would be no second round (time 11:45 p.m.). Although according to the notice it is open until 1:00 a.m. Afterwards it was already cashed in. The whole time we were being cleared away and everything was being closed. We were rudely told it was time to go. Alejandro unkindly pointed this out to us several times. We then left shortly before midnight and found ourselves in front of the locked exit door. Although this path has been shown. If someone expressed his opinion about the condition and the unfriendly treatment, Alejandro would gloat up and came threateningly closer to us. We left the enchilada via the side entrance and were shouted at a few words that we unfortunately couldn't understand. Conclusion: Never again Enchilada Leipzig! The friendly atmosphere with a Mexican flair and delicious cocktails with happy hour from 10:30 p.m. are advertised here. But you get an unfriendly, cold atmosphere. And the cocktails were really bad. 98% crushice, 1% grenadine, 1% alcohol. Never again Enchilada Leipzig!

Nach einer Fehlbuchung durch das Onlinesystem, wurden wir trotz des bereits vor gut besuchten Lokals platziert. Nach 20 min hatten wir unsere Getränke. Um das Essen zu Bestellen, musst wir den Kellner erneut auffordern, an unseren Tisch zu kommen. Nach 1 Stunde Wartezeit haben wir den Kellner gebeten die Speisen zu stornieren, da es nicht absehbar war, die Bestellung in den nächsten Minuten zu reichen. Warum nimmt man so viele Kunden an, wenn man weiß, dass nicht ausreichend Personal vorrätig ist! Das war echt ärgerlich!

Four of us in September 2024. We sat outside. Drinks were consumed quickly, the dog got water and everything was great. Drinks then took 30 minutes to reach the table. Waiting time for food was still OK In total we spent 2 hours and thirty minutes in the restaurant. The food was good, the portions were OK too. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed. When the dessert came, all the glasses and plates were still on the table. We got the plates with the dessert in our hands and then had to stack them ourselves to make room. There is a deduction for a portion of fries that was in the deep fryer for far too long (was replaced) and a lava cake that was still half frozen (was taken off the bill). Not a tourist trap as many here say, but a restaurant with untapped potential. Price for 4 people Mexican with drinks, good selection and dessert was 155 euros

Very friendly staff, the menu offer is great, food is good, drinks are fine too. the ambience is very lively and sometimes it is hard to understand eachother indoor over the table as the sound bounces around the room - especially if you are seating next to a bigger group

We arrived on a Monday evening without a reservation. We were told there was no table available and we could leave. After we thought that people would stand up in the background, we were only told that the longer we discussed here, the less likely we were to get a table. Good service is different!

We wanted to go to the restaurant on a Monday without a reservation, were initially turned away by a waitress, but saw a group of about 10 people get up, whereupon we asked if we could take the table. This was very rudely denied and we asked whether it would be possible to leave a telephone number in case a table became available. This was also very rudely denied. After a short wait, another waitress assigned us a table. The cocktails were okay as they were mostly ice, but fine for the price you can throw at them on a Monday.

Leider mussten wir 30 Minuten auf die Getränke warten. Das Essen war nach 1 1/4 Stunde immer noch nicht da und wir sind mit knurrendem Magen gegangen. Die Cocktails waren an sich ok, wenn man viel Eis mag.

Wir hatten zu 19:00 Uhr einen Tisch bestellt, jedoch erst 21:45 Uhr unsere Vorspeise und 23:00 unsere Hauptspeise erhalten. Wir fragten zwischendurch, ob wir vergessen wurden und erhielten die Antwort, dass es voll sei und deshalb etwas dauert. Zum Schluss war es jedoch tatsächlich so, dass unser Bon übersehen wurde. Die Wartezeiten waren einfach zu lang, das Essen hat aber geschmeckt. Ich denke, wir werden nicht mehr hingehen, auch wenn wir zur Entschädigung, unsere Vorspeise aufs Haus erhielten.

Best food We tried the classic burgers, chicken fajitas, steak fajitas, fries, and nachos. Really good sauce, we took also Strawberries mint Limonade juice, spring fever jumbo, and coconut horchata. We almost ordered everything twice. The people serving were the most helpful and friendly people. i am very thankful for them, especially Patty Sue. Wir hatten hier einen Tisch bestellt und würden sehr freundlich empfangen. Am Tisch wurde uns darauf hingewiesen, dass es eine elektronische Getränke - und Speisekarte gibt und wir sie scannen müssen. Uns wurde auch Zeit gelassen, uns die Karte genau anzusehen. Es gab sehr viele Speisen und die Auswahl war sehr groß. Haben aber etwas sehr leckeres gefunden. Auch die Wartezeit war in Ordnung und das Essen war super. Die Bedienung wies uns auch darauf hin, das die Nachspeise sehr viel ist und es man zu zweit eine Portion essen könnten. Im grossen und ganzen ist dieses Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben die mexikanische Küche kennengelernt und uns wurde alles erklärt, wir hatten somit einen wunderschönen Abend. Der Service war top, sehr aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Spontan am Sonntagabend dort gewesen. Auf Wunsch bekamen wir einen Platz im Inneren, allerdings durften wir, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste innen waren, nur zwischen einem Tisch am Durchgang oder am Weg zur Toilette wählen. Die Bestellungen wurden fix aufgenommen. Das Essen war soweit lecker, die Fajitapfanne wurde etwas zu lange angebraten, sodass die Röstaromen den Rest etwas übertünchen. Der Burrito Carne war super. Ein No Go für uns war allerdings, dass sich Teile des Personals Service-Küche teils lautstark offen vor den Kunden anstressen. Das war etwas unangenehm und ein Grund für die Abzüge.

Upon request, we were given a seat inside, but even though we were the only guests inside, we were only allowed to choose between a table near the passage or on the way to the toilet. The orders were taken quickly. The food was delicious so far, but the fajita pan was fried a little too long so that the roasted aromas overshadowed the rest. The burrito carne was great. A no-go for us, however, was that some of the service kitchen staff were sometimes loud and openly stressed out in front of the customers. That was a bit unpleasant and a reason for the deductions.

Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich, Getränke und Essen kam nach Bestellung recht zügig. Wir würden wieder kommen.

In fact, I was very disappointed with the food. Many of my friends have told me very positive things about the meals. However, it tastes very dry and only half-processed. Unfortunately the prices don't match that at all. Because they are obviously more than overpriced. The service staff should be highlighted positively because they always smile, are friendly and fulfill your every wish. Absolute role model staff. The drinks/cocktails are brutal. Truly unchallenged by anyone I've ever drunk in Leipzig. I'm more than happy that the cocktails live up to their prices. Well, I still won't come again. Too bad.

We've tried several times to get a table at short notice. Unfortunately, every time we were turned away at the door in a rather unfriendly manner, we were told that there were currently no seats available. Too bad. Won't try again.
