Emira Vegan Sushi Restaurant in Berlin

I loved it and could easily have gone round a second time. Five stars for the food, the presentation and atmosphere. Also a very good price.

Atmosphere was lovely - they have beautiful tables with real rocks, sand and moss under glass so it's like eating on top of your own personal little Zen garden. Unfortunately the sushi was only mediocre - there were "odd" ingredients like black rice and pumpkin that were trying hard to be fancy, but just didn't wow in the taste.

The service is impressively quick and the restaurant’s calm and serene environment is enhanced by the absence of background music, making it a perfect spot for those who prefer quiet spaces to unwind or have conversations. The sushi options are creative and flavorful, showcasing fresh ingredients with a variety of textures and tastes. Whether you’re a seasoned vegan or simply curious, this spot is worth visiting for its tranquil ambiance and thoughtfully crafted dishes.

Delicious food and friendly people. Inexpensive.

Ordered the miso ramen, dumplings, wantons, and mai day. The broth for the ramen was in a takeaway container wrapped in foil, yet it leaked. The bottom of the bag almost tore, and I got broth on my clothes. That being said, the food was delicious, and luckily there was still more than enough broth for my ramen. I will absolutely be back and more careful with my bag. *EDIT* updating my review because I’ve been back two more times with zero issues with my broth leaking. Still absolutely delicious every time! Ive also tried the curry ramen, and it is phenomenal. Great balance of spice, sweet, lime, and creamy.

The food was so tasty! The location is modern and very well designed, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent, especially our waitress, Tuyen. She was so kind and helpful. Even when I made a mistake with my order, she quickly fixed it and stayed so friendly the whole time. It was such a good experience, and I will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Super good food, friendly and courteous service and fair prices. The soups were well seasoned and not too salty. Really perfect! The white smoke above the sushi plate is of course an eye-catcher! :D We felt very comfortable here.

What a great atmosphere! This is also reflected in the food. Great ingredients, beautifully prepared and super delicious! The drinks also had a wow effect. The warm staff made me forget that I was alone in the restaurant. I am not a vegan and recommend Emira to every non-vegan.

I'm really excited because I didn't think it would be this good. The dishes are anything but boring. Smart, original and not too small. The tea is also served in a large bowl with lots of fruits and herbs. We love!

Super tasty, relaxed atmosphere and incredibly nice staff :) The Shushi is of course the highlight (it's best to get the platter for 2), but we also tried the other dishes (starters, bowls, soups) and so far everything has been extremely good! We have been there several times now and are always thrilled. Gladly again and 1000% recommended!

Lovely restaurant with modern decor and a good selection of vegan sushi and vegan options! We really enjoyed the tempura roll however, we felt like the other vegan sushis were looking better than they tasted. Flavour wasn’t explosive but pretty bland on most of the sushi. The udon noodle bowl was super tasty.

Best vegan sushi I've ever eaten. The food and the plate presentation was so, so good. If you're tired of typical cucumber or avocado vegan sushi, you should come here first. The service was also great. Tonight's waitress always had an eye on everything and the waiter was also very quick. Very friendly too. I can only recommend it and we are already looking forward to the next time.

The best vegan sushi I know in Berlin (there was one at the Warschauer Brücke ;-). Creative and delicious selections that go beyond the standard rolls. Fresh ingredients and great taste. The service is attentive and friendly - you feel like you're in good hands. And all at fair prices. Absolutely recommended!

My mother and I went to Berlin for a day trip yesterday. This restaurant was suggested to me on Google as my next vegan option. We weren't disappointed. The restaurant is very lovingly decorated. What stands out are the very chic tables. It is close to the "Schönhauser Allee" station and especially the lunch price of €10.90 for a main course and a drink or a starter was a very great and tasty offer. In Hamburg I am not aware of such an offer with this price-performance range. We'd love to come back. The service was quick and friendly.

Very positive surprise, a lot of things are right here. Service was very friendly, unobtrusive and quick. The food was fresh, creative with very fresh ingredients. The soup was spicy, hot and tasty. For €13, the soup could have been a little more lavish and could have been enriched with toppings if necessary. The sushi was well presented and there were innovative combinations. The drinks menu is as expected and offers a sufficient but not overwhelming number to choose from. The ambience is exceptionally beautiful and there are private booths at the back. Big recommendation!

The sushi is really fantastic. I ordered 1 Bau Bau and 16 pieces of Rainbow for the equivalent of around €30. Unfortunately the price/performance ratio wasn't good, so only 2 stars. If I win the lottery next time, I'll be happy to come back. 😋😊

Absolutely delicious. I had the poke bowl and some sushi to share, I definitely recommend going more for their variety of sushi. The poke bowl was okay but not amazing, and I don’t think go again for it. However their sushi was exceptionally exquisitely, very unique and very flavourful. Staff was nice and service was also quick.

Everything was delicious and the staff so kind, but the maincourses were really too sweet and too much for us. We asked to the waiter before the order and he told us portions are normal... We ate 3 starters, 2 Main and 1 dessert....

I had the opportunity to eat here yesterday and I'm thrilled! From start to finish it was a culinary experience. Our meal started with miso soup, followed by dumplings and hearty grain croquettes. The absolute highlight, however, was the Sushi Mix, which offered a creative and tastefully balanced combination of different vegan sushi creations. To drink we ordered a very refreshing lychee and a passion fruit iced tea and for dessert a mango cheesecake which just rounded everything off in terms of taste. A big plus was the short wait for the food, which made the entire visit even more enjoyable. Every bite was a real treat - so much so that I often had to close my eyes to fully savor the taste. It's rare that food is so good that it leaves you in a state of pure enjoyment. This place is definitely in the top 5 restaurants I have ever eaten at. The food was breathtaking and exceeded all my expectations. An absolute must for every sushi lover who appreciates vegan cuisine!

This sushi was the tastiest thing I ate on my Berlin trip, with such friendly and fast service and an incredibly beautiful ambience. As a vegan, in my home country I could only get sushi with avocado or cucumber, but here it is paradise, so much choice and beautifully prepared. Wish I could come more often.

It's incomprehensible that Emira Vegan Sushi isn't always packed full. The food is great and exceptional. Service and ambience are also great. Our vegan insider tip in the neighborhood.

I went here for dinner and I was very disappointed. Concept of vegan sushi was very appealing, but what was there was not so much. Taste was all right, nothing I would go back for, but the portions were super small. Even cocktail we ordered came in half full glasses. I never saw this stinginess anywhere else. I haven't took photo of everything, but just for a reference I'll post this one. Even if that is a part of the concept, I think that this rating of 4.9 should go way lower to be anywhere close realistic.

I would say Emira is my favorite restaurant in Berlin. Extremely delicious and exceptional vegan sushi. Great, courteous and fast service. The price for sushi is also completely reasonable! I always enjoy going there!

Lunch: Very tasty and affordable. The baked sushi rolls are a dream, definitely try them! The ginger is homemade and very tasty (compared to the often sour/soapy ready-made ginger). The arrangement on the plate and the decor are also beautiful. In the back area you can sit a little more quietly and away from the street.

Stopped here on a whim and loved their tea/food. I got the Pho Xao while my partner got the sushi. It was so delicious! The cocktails could use more liquor but definitely recommend this place.

A very nice shop for vegans, vegan sushi with alternative salmon tastes quite good. The aftertaste with the black rice is a bit unusual. Facility decoration is quite good. I just think the store is way overpriced. There are much cheaper and certainly better local places in the area than this one.

Spontaneously decided to eat here while walking past the restaurant. And it was amazing! The menu has a lot but we opted for sushi. Mushroom power is the one that was my favorite, especially if you like truffle and mushrooms. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience while dining at the restaurant. We ordered a vegan sushi platter for two and a spicy ramen. My kids got amused by the special theatrics while serving the platter. Staff was very nice and service was fairly quick. They even agreed to serve a dish for my daughter in kinder portion

Truly one of my best experiences as far as restaurants go. Mojitos for 7€, curry with tofu and seitan as well as the waiter's recommendation (bowl with udon noodles, tofu, vegetables) were really extremely tasty! My friend, who also normally eats meat, also said it was the best vegan restaurant he had been to so far. Really, really tasty!

Nowhere has better vegan food been eaten, especially sushi. You become a “repeat offender”.

Due to my wife's pregnancy, we opted for vegan sushi today. First of all, delivery time is absolutely great. When it arrived, we were immediately disappointed that our dessert was missing. When unpacking it quickly became clear that the price/performance ratio was not the best. A good example is the nigiri, where you get 2 for 3€ instead of one at conventional sushi shops. I'm really not a cheapskate, but a nigiri for €3 (avocado & rice) is definitely crunchy. The taste was really good and definitely an alternative to regular sushi. Nevertheless, the price of over €56 for 38 sushi and a missing dessert leaves a bad aftertaste.
