Elk-Lodge Restaurant (Elch-Lodge Restaurant) in Hanstedt

The "pasta" tasted worse than a bag of Miracoli. It was also too salty. Therefore, unfortunately, it was inedible (even my child didn't want it) – it's hard to believe that pasta with tomato sauce can taste so bad. The staff was friendly. You can get a pretzel here, but nothing more. It's a shame, really; it would be nice to have lunch at this spot in the zoo.

More bad than good. The food is rather bleak and barely worth mentioning. The staff also seems completely out of it. It's a shame, the zoo is otherwise great.

Well, the ambiance was really nice. The pretzel with sour cream was a bit odd, but it was tasty. Unfortunately, the wieners were soaked in water for far too long; they didn't taste good at all. They were also served almost cold at first, and then he reheated them; nice, or rather, tasty, is something else entirely. The service staff themselves were really very nice, accommodating, and tried to do everything right. That's why I'm only rating the food, which wasn't tasty.

Very nice place for a break in the wildlife park.

The food was okay, and my pregnant fiancée hasn't been feeling well since eating. And the service was unfriendly, except for the two young people who were nice, and it's a shame they apologized even though they were great.

Nice wooden log in the Wildparken. Many tables to sit outside and enjoy a cold local dark beer. Unfortunately also many wasps.

Staff friendly and helpful, prices ok - but food was very weak. Looking at the menu you would have hoped for a little more, but you only get warmed up food - the rice pudding you ordered wasn't even warmed up and was still cold.. For a snack maybe. OK, but not recommended for anything else.

Very friendly girls at the counter. The quality of the pretzels is outstanding. The prices are reasonable.

Unfortunately only “canned food” or ready-made pastries. Absolutely not recommended. I can't rate hot drinks.

The only thing I miss is the white sausage

The food comes neither warm nor attractively served on paper plates with wooden cutlery. I wonder what the point of doing without porcelain and real cutlery is in a restaurant with a kitchen where you sit down. Really prefer to take a thermos and food with you and then eat in the rain house rather than in a restaurant.

We ate inside the restaurant and ordered rice pudding and coffee. The rice pudding was from a tetra pack or something similar and was served at most lukewarm - rather cold. It tasted as if it had been mixed with pudding powder. Despite being the same size, the Cafe Crema had different filling quantities. The apple strudel is served on a ceramic plate, but the rice pudding is served in a paper plate with a wooden spoon. Placing the order with the service staff was quite adventurous, as not only I, but also other guests were understood very poorly and received the wrong drinks. The next time we visit the wildlife park, we would actually take a sandwich and a thermos flask with us.

Unfortunately, our food wasn't particularly good. Unfortunately you couldn't buy fries here, you had to walk to another stand, which was only 30m away. The fries were just a little warm. Unfortunately, the Burgundy ham in the roll was almost cold and the roll was completely soggy from the liquid from the coleslaw. Only the pea soup was warm and OK. In terms of price, it's not exactly cheap compared to other parks.

Essen und Service in Ordnung und die Atmosphäre am Kaminfeuer richtig schön. Was ich allerdings nicht verstehe, ist das Einweggeschirr. Bei Vor-Ort-Verzehr muss dieser unnötige Müll doch eigentlich nicht sein.

Hier gibt es Germknödel!!! Mehr muss ich dazu wohl nicht sagen. Wo bitte schön bekommt man sonst in Norddeutschland einen echten österreichischen Germknödel?!

Besonders gerne trinken wir hier den Cappuccino, aber die anderen Speisen sind auch echt gut. Besonders die Brezeln und die Würstchen. Leider gibt es hier keine Pommes, sondern nur am kleinen Imbiss, der im Frühling und im Herbst oft zu hat…

Sehr gemütlich, unheimlich nette und freundliche Mitarbeiter. Leckere Suppe.
