We thought it was great! Delicious food at what I consider a reasonable price. And above all, fantastic service (Andi). If we ever have to fly from Berlin again, we'll definitely be back! 😂👍

We were unnecessarily crammed together at tables even though 80% of the restaurant was empty. You could easily hear your neighbor's conversation. For a €30 burger, I expect more... It was tasty enough, but nothing special. Also, they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, and it was rather overcooked. They also forgot we wanted to pay, even though the restaurant was practically empty. That's completely unacceptable in a restaurant like this...

For a while, no one came - we had to wait. Maybe it was because it was such a day...

Lowering my expectations in german airport hotels is as automatic as bathroom hygiene. But this was pretty tragic. The bread manages to insult 2 great European cultures in 1 go. Easily the most offensive "french" par baked "product". There's great german bread all over the airport. But this all has to come from head office, so they take a cut from the supplier. It's just sad. They dont ask how you'd like your lamb or burger. It's just cooked well done. Ok, for the lamb, which we would have answered medium had we been asked, it was still edible. The burger, also preferred medium (and i foolishly assumed would be) was beyond overcooked. It's the driest thing I've had in my mouth since mindlessly eating crackers and accidentally chewing on the box. The service was ok, but a meal check during our meal would have uncovered the tragedy. The room is so 90s awful, it makes train stations look like castles. Best avoided.

I ordered a burger here and my company ordered the chicken salad. I liked my burger, it was juicy and tasty. My company complained about the scarcity of chicken and the abundance of salad in his dish. I tasted it, it was pretty good tasting but he was right. It was too much salad in it and little chicken. The service was nice and helpful. The prices are on the hefty side. We walked out paying about 60 euros. Which is not that bad but not that great either. Overall it was a pleasant experience. I'd recommend it if you are near the Berlin airport and really want a good burger.

The food was very good, tasted good. A bit steep prices for such simple dishes, but otherwise completely affordable. To us it seemed like the staff were arguing with each other, but maybe they were just joking. There was a bit of a limited selection of drinks compared to what was on the menu and what was available at the bar. But we ate, got full and moved on to somewhere else after.

I come often for work, expensive and very very slow service. You need to continuosly remind staff about your requirements. Sometimes wrong dishes. Very disapointing.

Elegant restaurant located in the hotel, practically across the street from the airport. The staff has always been very kind and super helpful. I was a little hesitant about what to order, but I couldn't have made a better choice. My pasta dish was delicious, cooked just the way I like it, with excellent flavors and pairings. The wine was also very good. Highly recommended.

The Élise is located in the Steigenberger at BER. I can't understand how great many people think this is. Probably just in the holiday mood. The ambience is typically cold - it's on the Steigenberger - it's just a company that isn't exactly imaginative or individually designed. In the short time of my visit I had three different waiters, at least the last of whom showed interest in the end and had typical courteous waiter gestures. The other two probably walked past me 6 or 7 times without making any eye contact. The food: you can tell from the prices that the kitchen wants to have a certain standard. Unfortunately, this requirement remains in the price. An Italian appetizer called carpaccio actually came as a simple, industrially prepared package, with a few parmesan shavings sprinkled from the industrial bag and a few dry rocket leaves thrown on top. Yes, there were a few pine nuts too. That didn't even look good. You can get it packaged in this quality in any supermarket for €4-5. Here, however, a big 20. What I saw at the neighboring tables during the main courses confirmed me: it's just a completely exaggerated rip-off and there are poor sausages in the kitchen who either haven't learned how to do it at all or aren't allowed to do it for cost reasons. Absolute failure. I won't eat here again for prices like that. There would have to be small pieces of gold hidden in the industrial packaging waste to justify it.

The restaurant is located inside the Steigenberger hotel. Nice venue. Good to book in advance as it can be full. Service good. The food very good with good wine.

The perfect start to your vacation at BER Airport! The waiters are extremely accommodating. The meal was a real treat with tomato butter and baguette as amuse gueule, filet and airport bowl as main courses. The Aperol, the Malbec Dada No1 and not forgetting the champagne were first class.

One of the only dining options in the surrounding area of the airport. Atmosphere sort of on the fancy side. Prices also on the expensive side. I didn't want to have something very heavy for dinner, so I ordered sea bream with grilled vegetables. The fish was good but the vegetables were a huge disappointment because it was basically grilled corn, which didn't pair at all with the fish and is besides quite heavy due to the amount of sugar. It was so much corn that I could not finish it.

I recommended this restaurant to my mom because the review looked great compared to others at the airport. However, nobody attended to her when she was sitting there for 20 min, and she had to leave as the staff(s) seemed to be ignoring her. I couldn't believe her experience, especially since she was traveling in Germany alone for a few weeks, and had never encountered such an issue before. So, I'd like to know whether your restaurant was so understaffed on Monday at 8 PM that no one could attend to her with the menu for 20 minutes even with your best capability, or if your restaurant operates with a self-ordering system? Either way, her experience at your restaurant negatively impacted her last moments in Berlin, and I believe it's important for the restaurant to be aware of this.

Bellissima sorpresa! In aeroporto a Berlino. Ottimo cibo, menù molto variegato che cerca di accontentare gli ospiti più disparati. Bellissimo ambiente!

Best food in the airport in my opinion and the staff were fantastic.

This was an amazing restaurant. The food was great, service was friendly and I highly recommend the restaurant. It is extremely convenient to terminal 1 and was an unexpected find.

Ich hatte für 45 Euro Spargel mit kleinem Wienerschnitzel und ein großes Radler. Der Preis ist sportlich für den Flughafen aber vielleicht ok. Leider war der Spargel deutlich zu bissfest, eher roh und die Kartoffeln glasig. Das passt nicht zum Preis. Das Wienerschnitzel war gut, daher noch 2 Punkte.

Essen sehr gut gekocht, aber mit 4€ je Spargel auch sehr teuer.

Man erkennt es gar nicht richtig auf der Webseite, dass es ein sehr schönes und großes Restaurant ist. Es gibt nur einen kleinen Auszug aus der Speisekarte, man könnte denken, es ist ein ganz kleines Restaurant, mit ein paar Snacks. Bewertungen sind auch nicht überragend oder viele. Ich habe für zwölf Personen ein Geschäftsessen reserviert, und war relativ nervös, ob es dann passen wird. Letztendlich war es ein ganz toller Abend, Essen war ausgezeichnet, Service war super, Restaurant sehr schön und sehr elegant. Die Preise sind hoch, aber Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt einigermaßen. Auf jeden Fall ist es das beste Restaurant am Flughafen. Wir kommen sicher wieder! :-)

Great service and quality! Taking off one star due to the prices (I do understand it's next to an airport though) and the ketchup and Mayo came in non reusable glass jars which seems very wasteful for the environment.

Großartig. Tolles Ambiente und eine sehr gute Karte. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Preis-/Leistung ist „noch“ okay - schließlich befindet man sich am Airport.

Even though the food is a bit on the pricy side, it was really good. The burger was very tasty and they got a good drinks menue. I decided on one of their cocktails and I really enjoed it. The staff and atmosphere was really nice too.

Sono stato a cenare qui dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro in fiera a Berlino. L’ambiente è curato nei minimi dettagli. Il cibo è favoloso. Il menu è perfetto, poichè non presenta troppi piatti ma riesce comunque ad accontentare tutti. I prezzi sono alti ma ne vale la pena. Il cameriere italiano Alessandro è bravissimo. 5 stelle meritate anche per merito suo!

Wir waren gestern vorm Abflug da und fanden es nicht so schön und sehr teuer. Am Ende haben wir solange gewartet um nur zu bezahlen.

Wir durften heute Gäste im Elise am BER sein. Das Essen war mehr als sehr gut und seinen Preis wert. Wir haben uns für einen Burger und Fish`n Chips entschieden und müssen sagen, das wir selten so etwas tolles essen dürften. Dort hat einfach alles gepasst. Besonders sollte das hausgemachte Humus zu Starter-Bread erwähnt werden. Ein hervorragender, aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Service rundeten unseren Eindruck ab. Leider kommen wir nicht ständig hier her - wir wären Stammgäste.
