Asiagourmet Berlin Flughafen BER in Schönefeld

Usually I don't expect much when I order food at an airport, but the food here was actually really tasty with a decent portion size for a reasonable price. Three stars for "atmosphere" because, after all, it is located in an airport food court so not in any way, shape or form cozy or personal. But the food makes up for it. :)

Rotten chicken in my meal, but according to the waiters, it was fine. I asked for a small side dish in exchange to compensate, but they said no.

Took the duck bowl. The food was ready a second after i finished to pay. Good portion but The taste was bad, the rice was hard and dry. Also the duck was dry and didn't feel fresh. Very Very far from gourmet

Of course you pay for the airport here, but I expect a lot of ingredients in a Tom Kha soup with chicken and not just a few scraps of chicken and some vegetables. It was almost just liquid. And the chicken pops were tasty but almost cold. I think that snack bars at airports know that you depend on them.

The noodles with fried chicken was good considering the prices.

I order a Yaki Udon. A liitle bit salty, but the taste is OK. If you are hungry, the restaurant would be a choice to have some food.

I can't describe how bad the food was, I don't have the words. Excited about our vacation, my friends and I wanted something to eat before our flight and decided on this shop. One of the biggest wrong decisions of my life. It was absolutely disgusting to sell something like that to people as food. We just wanted to eat normal fried noodles with chicken that turned into liquid noodles with raw chicken. That's why my colleague had indescribable diarrhea - really dishonorable. So that's a warning from me!!!!

Was good. I had the Udon Yaki (No.18) food was hot, tasted good. The cashier was also very nice. Price-wise it's not cheap, but it's worlds better than the currywurst opposite with equally high prices.

This is my to-go-to place to eat whenever I'm at the BER airport. I think the food is delicious, I've tried different dishes and I liked them all. Not the most authentic Asian food you can find but for a westerner's palate, who doesn't like very spicy food, it's perfect. The portion size is very good as well. I'm a bigger guy and I always feel well filled but not stuffed after eating here. The prices (14-16 euro) are ok for a place at an airport. The service is fast and the staff work very fast and hard by how packed this place is. Can be a bit difficult to find an empty seat depending on time during the day but it's a large airport after all, can't expect otherwise.

It's situated in the food court of the berlin airport. Just next to the fish and chips store. There are mosly curry or fried chicken options in the menu. We ordered the red coconut curry with chicken. The prices are okay considering it's inside the airport. Most dishes are 10-17 ranges. The delivery was super quick too. They also have bottled water, cokes etc. And i also saw some tiny alcohol bottles at the register. :)

Cashier seems quite moody. No service expectation at fast food restaurants anyways but it can be improved. Food was fast. Seatings aren’t designed for sitting for a long time. People come and go. Lots of people who come alone so it’s good for solo travellers. Portion isn’t so big compared to other restaurants outside the airport but it made me feel ok. Not too full. Red curry is definitely too bland for a Thai like me but it may be good for westerners. I think it won’t burn your tongue. The taste is actually good! My companion got bang bang chicken with noodles, peanut sauce. I tried the chicken and it was good! Noodle was so so. I’d recommend getting dishes that have baked chicken but maybe with rice instead of noodles. P.S. I didn’t take a photo before eating cos I was starving 😅

Very good food and very fast delivery

The peanut sauce was good, the rest not so much. Don't use baked chicken here, it's not crispy at all and is very stringy. The coconut curry is totally watery/liquid.

I tried red curry, udon and tom yum soup, and I was very satisfied with the taste at the airport👍

Bad customer service. They get your order wrong and then just don't bother to call you while your food gets cold. Eventually you are so hungry you just take what they give you.

The food was tasty, the portion was big enough and the service was very fast despite there being a lot of people. Of course the prices are extreme, but what do you expect after the security check? It was the same with the other restaurants.

Crispy duck ready within 3 minutes. Big & tasty portion for 10€ on an AirPort. Absolutely worth it!

Absolutely appalling service for English speakers. It could happen to anyone who’s got something allergic to. I asked them not to put beansprout in my noodle, but the guy with a single earring piercing at the counter told me he doesn’t understand what beansprout means. And I asked him again if my noodle comes with beansprout, he assured me it doesn’t. But the food turned out to be flooded with beansprouts. I asked him if they can do something with it, he said one the noodle is done it’s done. And I asked him why would he tell me it doesn’t which is not true at all. He just refused to listen and kept repeating himself.

Quick ordering process. Food came out quick, was good and price seems standard for airport food. The crispy chicken curry was pretty good, chicken was very crispy. Curry was good as well. Would only prefer that it was hot, not lukewarm.

Incredibly unfriendly staff and food of less than medium quality!

On the evening of Sunday 28th April my partner and I had a night flight and decided to have dinner there as it seemed to be the best option in the area. We ordered the food, got it and found a 4 seat table in the outside area as it was a bit crowded inside the restaurant. A couple of minutes later a man came to our table and requested to remove the things over the unused table, using hand gestures as he doesn't seemed to know English very well, he was the restaurant's cleaner. We did as requested, and then he cleaned. After finishing that table he came at our table and again, made the gesture saying 'cleaning', 'cleaning', which we replied saying the table was being used at the moment (we were halfway through our food), and after some insistence we said in a more harsh manner that we wouldn't remove our plates because we still have food to eat. In which he, pissed with our response, left rumbling something that I totally understood. He was swearing at us in Portuguese which for his lack of luck was also our mother language, we're Brazilians. I argued back in Portuguese, which he ignored and left. At this point I had lost all the interest in that expensive but bland food we just bought, and for our surprise a disrespectful staff behaviour was also in the menu. I waited a little to ease my temper and then contacted the manager inside of the restaurant. They were closing by the time, and it seemed there was only a guy, that was definitely not the manager, hence why I didn't want to make too much fuss as he's probably someone without much power to confront the cleaner. I explained everything, the poor service, the insistence in having our food removed from the table, the swearing at my partner and I but, as expected, nothing would probably be done. At this point the cleaner left the tables he was cleaning inside the restaurant and got inside the kitchen, probably to hide from us. Funny thing is that a couple was inside, eating their food, probably unharmed, but for some reason he thought he could treat us like that and walk away. As a person of colour, I'm avoiding this place at all cost. Thanks for reading.

I can only recommend this Asian gourmet, especially the spicy chicken was amazing. Unfortunately the dish was removed from the menu. You will be served quickly and without emotion and I think that is exactly what you should expect at the airport. If the airport wasn't in tariff zone C, or if I didn't have to buy a plane ticket every time to get to the departure lounge, I would stop here every week.

We ordered 3 Pho noodle, popcorn chicken bowl and udon noodle for 5 of us. Generous potion. Everyone loved their dish and happy about it. The price is reasonable for the airport location.

If you are hungry at BER, go some place else. I just had a curry and could not finish most of it, because of the poor taste. The chicken tasted like dish soap. I've tried different Asiagourmet places in Berlin, but the food at this one was the worst and most expensive.

The attitude of the staff was unexpectedly rude and ordered tofu and got crunchy duck?? When rechecked he said I said no tofu ?? Ordered vege yasai and got it with egg yasai? €50???? Waste of money

The meat was a bit dry otherwise good. Large portion for 10 euros.

Service was fast and the menu had a large selection of dishes. The popcorn chicken and spring rolls were good.

Easily the most tasteless, unflavorful Asian meal I ever had in Europe. Completely bland. Small portion. I immediately understood upon the first bite why this kiosk offers cheaper food but with less people around.

Unfortunately a big disappointment. I liked this chain - you can eat something good cheaply. Here the red curry costs 14 euros, it is lukewarm and the portion is cold. The mango lassi is made with powder. It's a shame, just because it's an airport? Megalomania seems contagious.

The person at the checkout seemed stressed and dissatisfied. Shaked my head as I didn't immediately know what to take. And what's more, the food didn't have much taste. I expected more, although it has to be said that such an unsympathetic manner spoiled the meal.

The food was very bad. We were not able to eat the chicken. We had to throw it. A very bad experience.

On February 23 at 20:00 the guy at the oder desk start to Imitate us while we where ordering. He snap his fingers to make us order fast and there were no line at all. we decided to leave. It is incredible that they make dun of customers ans treat then bad and when you decided not to buy anything the get mad. From comments here I am glad we didn’t order anything.

My go-to snack at the airport. I enjoy eating the veggie dishes there and they are really tasty. What I particularly like are the portions, you get something for your money at the airport.

Surprisingly good for airport food. We had Tom kha soup and bowl 3 with peanut sauce, both were quite delicious

The ambience itself is quite nice. The prices are of course adjusted to airport prices, so you can still live with that. But unfortunately the food was a complete disaster and I had to throw half of it away. The chicken appears to be made from cheap scraps of meat pressed together, gristly, pieces of fat. All in all not recommended!

The food was okay but clearly not homemade. However the service is terrible. Particularly the guy taking the orders who was rude for no reason and multiple times.

Terrible experience. I took a Basli beef sauté with rice and started to have a stomachache after returning back home. I took some medicines but have been suffering during the whole night..

Today I had dinner here and there was a fly in the Pho Bo. Unfortunately they do not even say sorry to me but just denied that they do not have any flies in their food. They said MANY people found flies in the past but they do not mind and just eat their food. They even let me go ahead and submit my complaint, they do not care. I am shocked by their attitudes of opening a restaurant and also worried about the health of the customers. I am sharing my experience here. Flies in the food!

Am Anfang habe ich die ganzen Rezensionen mir durch gelesen und sah entweder nur schlechtes oder nur sehr positives darüber. Ich war bisschen stutzig wegen den ganzen Bewertungen, also machte ich mir selber eine eigene Meinung. Zudem muss man noch sagen das mein Magen nicht alles verträgt. Ich hatte die Bowl Nummer 4 Crispy Duck mit Reis und viel Erdnusssauce bekommen. Es war sehr bekömmlich und auch sehr lecker. Insbesondere durfte ich auch zusehen wie mein Gericht zubereitet wurde. Der Koch hat mir auch Tipps gegeben wie man die perfekte Ente vorbereitet. Das Essen sah auch einladen aus. Mango Lassi war auch sehr Empfehlend wert. Preisleistung war es auch gut ist halt am Flughafen. Die Mitarbeiter hatten mich immer so schön angelächelt, da kam leicht Urlaubsstimmung.

Schnelle Bedienung, nette Mitarbeiter und das essen ist sehr lecker! 👍

mein essen war tip top, verstehe hier viele schlechte Bewerungen nicht. Von Mitarbeiter bis Geschmack war alles echt gut. Preislich kann man sich nicht beschweren, ich mein wir sind am Flughafen, hier ist es immer etwas teurer. Komme aufjedenfall zurück wenn ich wieder in den Urlaub fliege

Kann mich nicht beschweren...hatten die Chicken Pops mit asiatischer süß saurer Sauce...Preis war legitim und für Flughafenniveau sogar günstig...Essen war lekker und hat mir den Flug versüßt...

Una specie di fast food asiatico all’interno dell’aeroporto di Berlino. Tra le scelte che offre il piano rialzato è il migliore. Certo siamo sempre in un aereo porto e stiamo mangiando asiatico con tutto già pronto (infatti il servizio è velocissimo) quindi sicuramente non è tutto al massimo ma se avete poco tempo e volete fare un pranzo “vero” può andare.

Went to try Asia Gourmet before catching my flight and it was strictly ok. I ordered the vegetarian udon noodles with tofu and the taste was average but the food was cooked well and was fresh. Service was quick, they give you a buzzer which beeps when the food is ready- which took less than 10 minutes.

Maybe the best airport meal what I have ever had! Fast service and really tasty food.

Best airport food ever surprisingly. Very fresh (can see it being cooked in the wok) and actually flavorful and spicy. Lots of vegan options, good tofu! Seriously shocked this was at the airport.

I had no expectations because - let’s face it - airport food is always overpriced and bland at best but my goodness this was one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. I tried 5 different dishes (my friends’ meals, also I was very hungry) and they all had distinct flavours. I’d be the first to recommend a visit here if you’re going through Berlin departures.
