The VierJahreszeiten is in a league of its own and, for us, is the absolute top dog in Hamburg, despite, or perhaps because of, the many modern but soulless new hotels. Everything is just right here. From the doorman to the friendly staff throughout the hotel, to the impeccable cleanliness and the unique cuisine. Plus, an unbeatable location. Hotel service at its absolute best.

Mexikoring 17aSoul food!!! Everything is prepared with love and always delicious! And great service! The world's best Königsberger Klopse (and I've tried many others!)!!! The world's best farmer's breakfast!!! Addendum: I read in other reviews that "a lot of it comes from cans"... *irony on* I wish I could buy such canned goods... *irony off* they even cure the beef brisket for the Labskaus in-house. Just like Mom and Grandma used to make! 6 out of 5 stars for me!
