We were here for dinner yesterday. The dining room is very cozy. We received a very friendly and warm welcome. The starter was solyanka, which was truly delicious. The best we've had in a long time. Then we had pelmeni and the taupe. Simply unbelievably delicious. We finished off with a delicious dessert. We can 100% recommend ELAS. Give it a try, it's worth it!

My review says it all. Super friendly and relaxed service. Not too large a menu, so choosing isn't too difficult. Delicious and fast. We've been here for the third time and were thrilled, and we'll definitely be back.

We visited ELAS for the first time today and received extremely friendly service. Special requests such as gluten-free and vegan/vegetarian options were also accommodated very courteously. All in all, it was a very pleasant evening – we felt very comfortable and can especially recommend the Ukrainian dishes (with a vegetarian option)!

A very warm welcome on our early arrival day, and the option to reserve breakfast for two days with a choice of bread rolls and fluffy scrambled eggs. The coffee was excellent, and the sausage and cheese platter with fresh vegetables was plentiful and very tasty. Everything you need for a good start to the day in a rustic atmosphere. A very personable and hospitable owner, along with friendly waitress Anna. Thank you for such a wonderful holiday breakfast here on the magical Baltic Sea. We would love to come back.

An evening that even surpassed the first visit! Today was our second visit to Ela's Gasthaus Sea and Soul, and the evening topped our first visit. This is mainly due to the wonderful live band, whose music perfectly matched the ambiance and created a fantastic atmosphere. Just like last time, the food was outstanding. The dishes are fresh and lovingly prepared, so you can taste the quality in every bite. The service was also excellent again. You feel well looked after all around and have the feeling of being the only guest – truly special hospitality. If we're ever in Dierhagen again, we'll definitely be back at Ela's Gasthaus!

We found ELAS Gasthaus by chance and didn't have a reservation. The staff was very friendly and made every effort to free up a table for us. The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and refreshing. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately made another reservation for the next day.

A real asset to the area! This restaurant is a welcome change from the otherwise rather uniform offerings here. We immediately felt at home. Surrounded by like-minded people, with a charming, rustic ambiance that exudes a sense of coziness. The staff was extremely attentive and took plenty of time for their guests. You feel truly welcome. We especially recommend the pelmeni and the pizza; they tasted amazing, and we wouldn't change a thing. The spiced meat was also very tasty. We would love to try the entire menu. Unfortunately, we don't have the time. But one thing is certain: We'll definitely be back on Friday—for the concert and, of course, for dinner. We're already so excited, our stomachs are already watering! 😅

Very friendly staff in a homely atmosphere, very focused on the guests' wishes. The menu isn't that long, but the quality of the dishes is very high. The ingredients are still grown in-house and freshly prepared, so you can definitely taste the craftsmanship.

Simply magical! Everything freshly prepared, perfect portions, friendly service: The all-round worry-free package. You feel at home!

SEA and Soul suggests fish dishes, but unfortunately, they don't have any on the menu. The offerings are Ukrainian and rustic German. I had the strammer max with Leberkäse (meatloaf), and my husband had the pelmini filled with minced pork.

Simply recommendable! I've rarely experienced such friendly, attentive, and excellent service as here. The food was also fantastic; we both enjoyed it so much. The Ukrainian taupe, in particular, is a real treat. We'll definitely be back. There are so many more delicious dishes on the menu that we absolutely have to try.

The service crew should be less self-promoting and less sweet-talking (the guests aren't all stupid), and should instead strive to offer a reasonable selection on the menu and hire a better chef.

The food here is cooked with heart, love, and soul. You can taste it! Nothing fancy, but a truly excellent restaurant. Friendly service and a pleasant ambiance round out the very positive impression. Two years later, we returned to ELAS Gasthaus. And what can I say? Everything is at least as good as the first time! There are always dishes from Ukrainian cuisine, something you really don't get everywhere. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates dishes cooked with love and wants to feel completely at home.

We're still so excited about our restaurant visit and don't even know where to begin. The food was top-notch; for starters, be sure to order the Ukrainian dishes. Taupe and Pellimi, incredibly good and excellently seasoned. The menu is straightforward, and the "simple dishes" like homemade pasta with sage butter are so perfect that you get goosebumps on your arms when you eat them. As guests, we felt very welcome and immediately felt like we'd always been there. We received attentive service, which is unfortunately becoming increasingly rare these days. The restaurant itself is located in a converted stable or farmhouse and has a rustic charm. The only negative is that due to a private party, we won't be able to eat there again tomorrow, and our vacation will be over after that. If you're on the Darß, you should definitely plan a visit and eat here!!!

I went to a party at this great restaurant at the weekend and felt very comfortable there. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, the service is attentive, very friendly and fast and the food (we had a variety of dishes on the well-stocked buffet) was simply delicious and worth 10 stars 🌟. There are sufficient parking spaces in front of the house. I can only warmly recommend Ela's restaurant!

Today there were four of us and two dogs at the Elas Gasthaus. Great service and great food too. There is still a lot of emphasis on freshness and quality here. The ambience was nice and cozy. It's a shame that we come from so far away otherwise we would have become regulars :) we have a clear recommendation!!!!

Elias Gasthaus is located in a 170 year old barn. We went out for dinner twice on the weekend in March. The first thing that struck us was the friendly service, who looked after us excellently both times. We enjoyed our food wonderfully. Starter, main course and dessert - all very tasty. Since the chefs come from Ukraine, you should definitely try the national specialties. But the schnitzel also tasted great. Kudos to the kitchen! An absolute recommendation on the Darß.

Thank you very much for the excellent service and the really delicious food. With the pork schnitzel you could tell that it was really freshly fried in butter. Extremely delicious. You could also taste that the pasta, the tulip and the strawberry cheesecake cream were homemade. Big PRAISE to the cook. Absolutely recommended.

A place where you really feel welcome with warm, cheerful hospitality and delicious food

Unfortunately, due to traffic, we arrived at the accommodation in Dierhagen a little later and at 8 p.m. the kitchen closed everywhere. We landed here shortly after 9 p.m. and even though the kitchen was closing, they kindly turned on the stove again and served us a delicious solyanka. We came back the next evening and treated ourselves to a real meal. Our recommendation is the pelmeni. Super nice, attentive staff and great ambience.

A great ambience, a beautiful old house with all the fittings. The service was nice and courteous. However, maybe do some further training here over the winter......no 0 gear, bring cards when the table is set and not 15 minutes later. Picking up the guest - that is your goal. The empty dishes stood forever...until the dessert was brought. Before that 2 x at the table...... Small points that lead to big success. Please donate in all areas of the house. Since I have to eat gluten-free, a bit difficult... again only salad with chicken, which was in the search field. Please ask in advance whether you only want oil as a dressing. A little more variety would be nice and also the quantity. The dessert of quark cakes was very tasty for the companions at the table. For me there was strawberry ice cream - also a treat with espresso. All in all: recommended And we will come back for dinner too.

Very very tasty authentic food. Also tried the Ukrainian dishes. We didn't know it and it was so delicious. Relaxed staff, friendly, humorous and also quick-witted. Great old inn, perfectly restored inside and out and furnished with a lot of passion. When we are back in Dierhagen, we will go there again. Attention: reserve in advance if at all possible. They try to save food through planned procurement. Without a reservation you need a bit of luck to get it right...

This is a really small, cute restaurant. There were some nice dishes and none of them 'typical'. There was pelmeni and taupe, pasta with sage and parmesan but also everything else your heart could desire. You could tell that it was freshly prepared, it took longer compared to larger restaurants but that wasn't a problem for us at all!! Because you were treated kindly the whole time. Absolute heart recommendation.

We had dinner there with our young dog on September 5th, 2024. The hospitality was courteous and we quickly had our strawberry punch, which was homemade and very tasty. When we received our drinks, we ordered the baguette with the homemade garlic cream and a taupe starter after the Ukrainian specialty was recommended to us. Both were at our table super quickly and we were able to enjoy the very tasty food. Finally, we shared the vegetarian burger with extra cheese and were pleasantly surprised at how well put together the food was. To round things off, we treated ourselves to a cheesecake in a glass. That was also a pleasure. The location is really recommended with its rustic charm and we would be happy to come there again with our dog because we felt very welcome there.

We ate in this small and rustic restaurant twice. The food always tasted wonderful and is freshly prepared. The decoration was appropriate for the older house, there is something to marvel at in every corner. The staff is always friendly and ready for any joke. The first time we went without a reservation and got a table. The second time with a reservation because it was Sunday and was our last evening before we went back home. Unfortunately there was no whiskey, but maybe there will be next year. (It wasn't bad) 😉The three of us had a very nice time with you and would love to come back. Keep it up.

We were in this beautiful inn today and were warmly welcomed despite having small children (unfortunately this doesn't apply everywhere in town) and without a reservation. The food was very good, tasty, high quality and freshly prepared - yes, you might have to wait a few minutes longer, but it was absolutely worth it to me as a guest. The service was great - very attentive, really fond of children, competent and always up for a joke. As usual, the same applies here: as you call into the forest, the sound comes out... All in all, highly recommended!

So an absolute recommendation! It was very tasty, small menu but a bit of everything. Above all, we enjoyed the fact that everything was homemade. However, the portions are quite small with starters and dessert but you will be pleasantly full. We will be back. Service was really very warm and helpful.

Service is a foreign concept. Waiting an hour for food is unreasonable. The couple who came after me had everything much more likely that a guest would also like to eat and drink something and the money doesn't stink. The best thing would be to get another training course in dealing with guests and have a regular one Service process

After a quick call to see if we could come, we were warmly welcomed. The food tasted great: homemade pelimi and handmade sage pasta. Our host, with his relaxed and endearing sayings, was wonderful. The other guests also seemed to feel very comfortable. The nice thing: quality is more important to our hosts than quantity and you could feel it. An old converted barn rounded off the experience. Thank you and 5***** for Ela and her husband. (Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but enjoyment is hard to copy anyway, so just try it out for yourself)

The motto for our visit is: Shoemaker, stick to your lasts. A broker is not a trained service person. The organization of the work processes could not be recognized. We had to wait a very long time for the menus. When it was our turn to get a menu, we were told that we had to share a menu, even though there were 2 more at the next table that were no longer needed. Unfortunately, too much time passed before we ordered and the food arrived. When ordering I asked if I could have the burger without fries. The service person said: “Sure, no problem, we’ll rake them out.” This wasn't possible when paying because the statement was: "This is definitely not possible, it's a fixed system and would only mean more work for the kitchen." As for the dessert, we had the feeling that the wait staff would receive commission for it. You were asked whether you wanted dessert 1, 2 or 12 times. Unfortunately, the "jokes" didn't work at all, but were rather annoying. The performance of the kitchen, however, cannot be praised highly enough. The food was very tasty, hot and very attractively prepared.

We were in good hands all around and since the innkeeper always had a funny saying on his lips, we were able to enjoy this relaxed atmosphere. The food was just great. We both ate Ukrainian specialties and were thrilled. The taste is delicious and the presentation is loving. We had two great evenings in this location. Gladly again on our next visit.
