We have been guests at ELAS several times on our numerous Baltic Sea holidays and really enjoyed the good food, the ambience and the excellent service. Special requests are taken care of without any problems. We'd love to come back. Greetings from Peter Strate (the driving instructor) and family

We were in this beautiful inn today and were warmly welcomed despite having small children (unfortunately this doesn't apply everywhere in town) and without a reservation. The food was very good, tasty, high quality and freshly prepared - yes, you might have to wait a few minutes longer, but it was absolutely worth it to me as a guest. The service was great - very attentive, really fond of children, competent and always up for a joke. As usual, the same applies here: as you call into the forest, the sound comes out... All in all, highly recommended!

We were served delicious food by a very friendly, attentive staff. The pelmeni and handmade noodles in sage butter were especially delicious! And the cheesecake in a glass was the perfect end to a great evening in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. It's a shame that we only discovered the restaurant on the last evening of our vacation - it was one of the most beautiful evenings! I think we have a new local restaurant in Dierhagen.

So an absolute recommendation! It was very tasty, small menu but a bit of everything. Above all, we enjoyed the fact that everything was homemade. However, the portions are quite small with starters and dessert but you will be pleasantly full. We will be back. Service was really very warm and helpful.

Service is a foreign concept. Waiting an hour for food is unreasonable. The couple who came after me had everything much more likely that a guest would also like to eat and drink something and the money doesn't stink. The best thing would be to get another training course in dealing with guests and have a regular one Service process

After a quick call to see if we could come, we were warmly welcomed. The food tasted great: homemade pelimi and handmade sage pasta. Our host, with his relaxed and endearing sayings, was wonderful. The other guests also seemed to feel very comfortable. The nice thing: quality is more important to our hosts than quantity and you could feel it. An old converted barn rounded off the experience. Thank you and 5***** for Ela and her husband. (Unfortunately I forgot to take photos, but enjoyment is hard to copy anyway, so just try it out for yourself)

The motto for our visit is: Shoemaker, stick to your lasts. A broker is not a trained service person. The organization of the work processes could not be recognized. We had to wait a very long time for the menus. When it was our turn to get a menu, we were told that we had to share a menu, even though there were 2 more at the next table that were no longer needed. Unfortunately, too much time passed before we ordered and the food arrived. When ordering I asked if I could have the burger without fries. The service person said: “Sure, no problem, we’ll rake them out.” This wasn't possible when paying because the statement was: "This is definitely not possible, it's a fixed system and would only mean more work for the kitchen." As for the dessert, we had the feeling that the wait staff would receive commission for it. You were asked whether you wanted dessert 1, 2 or 12 times. Unfortunately, the "jokes" didn't work at all, but were rather annoying. The performance of the kitchen, however, cannot be praised highly enough. The food was very tasty, hot and very attractively prepared.

We were in good hands all around and since the innkeeper always had a funny saying on his lips, we were able to enjoy this relaxed atmosphere. The food was just great. We both ate Ukrainian specialties and were thrilled. The taste is delicious and the presentation is loving. We had two great evenings in this location. Gladly again on our next visit.

Very tasty food and very nice service. The price is very good for the delicious homemade food. We would like to come back because it is very nice inside and out. At the end we were also offered the strawberry punch and the cheesecake in a glass, although we were already well full, we ordered them and didn't regret it. Conclusion Elas is highly recommended!!!

Nice restaurant, rustic atmosphere, great breakfast, everything fresh, several types of sausage, ham, cheese. Garnished with tomato and cucumber. You will be asked if you need more. Great service staff. A young Ukrainian woman who speaks very good German and often prepares the great breakfast greets you with friendly words when you come in. Ela's husband, who sometimes works with us, is always very nice and funny. You feel like you've been friends for a long time. The waiter who serves you in the evening is also very nice. At dinner you can express your wishes and they will be fulfilled. This restaurant is highly recommended!

Super delicious food, everything fresh, small and fine menu. The service is great, friendly and relaxed, the atmosphere in the old barn is nice and cozy. Soljanka (almost) like mom’s!

The Ukranian appetizers were fantastic and also could be ordered as a meal. The Pelmeni (pasta stuffed with ground pork and served with garlic schmand on the side) were unquestionably enjoyed by everyone at thr table. The Taupe (cabbage rolls) had a delicious red sauce with mushrooms and the rolls themselves were delicate in the mouth. The Strammer Max was the best I've ever had. Served atop a wonderful brown bread, the thinnest slice of cheese atop and perfectly executed sunnyside up eggs. The dessert of the day was a deconstructed cheesecake in a jar, topped with strawberry puree and a sprig of mint. It was creamy, not too sweet nor too heavy and the mint elevated the dish. Overall, a great experience.

From the starter to the dessert, it was simply delicious and the staff was very, very friendly and made all wishes possible. Thank you for this great visit.

It was just great, it tasted damn good, the service was great and the atmosphere invites you to linger. Were welcome with children and dogs. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Very good food, friendly staff and musical entertainment.

A little insider tip next to the Pension Stocker, where my children are staying, we had dinner yesterday. The ambience is great, the service is excellent and the food is unique. We were spoiled there by the German/Ukrainian cuisine. It was a culinary delight for everyone. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Keep it up. We'll definitely come back.

Super tasty, homemade food, very friendly service and dogs seem to be very welcome. Nobody had to lie under the table.

Very nice quaint and rustic restaurant. The food is simply amazing. Tastes sensationally good. The service is very friendly and has a relaxed demeanor. Everything is clean and even the toilets are very spacious. Even normal schnitzel tastes very good. The highlight are the Ukrainian cabbage rolls (taupe). You should also try the pelmeni or the dessert cheesecake in a glass. Also worth mentioning is the solyanka or homemade bread with homemade garlic sauce (a must)! The menu is not extremely large and what you offer is really delicious. If you are visiting Dierhagen or are in the area, you should definitely stop by! Reservation would make sense but with a lot of luck it wouldn't be necessary. The prices are more than okay for the region👍We'll definitely see each other again!

On this day when I wasn't feeling so well, you managed to brighten my mood and make me feel completely good. Atmosphere: I was immediately enchanted by the cozy guest room and the front garden of this thatched inn. It was like a short vacation for the soul. Service: Your service was exceptional. You are not only attentive, but also warm and friendly. Culinary delights: The food was a poem! Freshly prepared, served with love. Every extra wish was fulfilled - that's really rare! I was particularly impressed with the garlic cream. Animal-friendly: We didn't have a dog with us, but I was particularly pleased that four-legged companions were also welcome. She was treated just as lovingly as we were. Ela, you and your team managed to turn an average day into a special one. I actually felt much better after visiting you – thank you for that! We went there for dinner twice, with prior reservations, and were more than thrilled both times. The waiter was super friendly and the food was wonderfully prepared and tasted incredibly delicious. The homemade baguette bread with the garlic sauce... 😋 The recommended Andalö was also very good. The ambience of the rustic look is very appropriate and beautiful to look at. All in all, definitely worth a visit and we'll definitely stop by again next time we're here👍🤗

Today we were at ELAS Gasthaus for the third time on this holiday. It's just great there. The food is delicious and the always friendly and humorous spirit in the service creates a great atmosphere. I'm really more than thrilled! We were given a very friendly welcome and advice from the nice gentleman in an apron. Really, great guy! Furthermore, great ambience, rustic and very inviting. And for food, 6/5! The Ukrainian starters were on top! I had tried burgers & pizza again, great taste. This restaurant, I would come here again every time!

We were here twice this week. Super great atmosphere, really rustic and well done. The service is great and Ela definitely knows what she is doing in the kitchen. The boss is very accommodating and likes to take the time to have a chat with his guests. Very pleasant atmosphere. The homemade pelmeni are damn tasty, the burger was really good too. We can also only recommend the caraway schnapps. All in all a really great guesthouse, we will definitely come back next time!

Spontaneous visit and were lucky that there was still a table available. Service was very attentive, there were even homemade treats for the dog. Food was great, everything freshly prepared took a while, but the waiting time was shortened with homemade baguette and garlic cream. Old barn lovingly converted into the inn. First of all: We spontaneously booked breakfast the evening before, which worked smoothly. The restaurant is rustic in a rural style. The staff is friendly and courteous. However, the price/performance ratio is not balanced. For €14 per person or €7.50 per person. As a child, you get a nicely prepared breakfast at the table, with coffee and tea. However, other drinks (e.g. for children) or egg dishes are not included in the price, which is a shame. Unfortunately, some of the rolls were hard. In addition, the front entrance was blocked and you had to use an unmarked side entrance (for boarders). Yes, it is a holiday region and there is also a cheap breakfast option on a Sunday nearby. However, there are still some opportunities for improvement here.

Very conflicted, on Sunday the service from the young people was excellent and so was all the food. On Tuesday the service was friendly but uncoordinated, the same pizza as Sunday, which was thin and well topped, was almost a disaster. The chicken on the salad was dry and tasted like finished product. The Ukrainian inspired dishes were good.

This is awesome The headline corresponds to the words when our host asked my wife if the food was tasty. We're not talking about bosses, waiters or waitresses here, because everyone presented themselves as very good hosts. We had the Soljanka up front, which prepared us for what was to come. The homemade pasta with pesto and cherry tomatoes, the cheeseburger with bacon and double beef were very tasty and rounded off the meal perfectly. We didn't have dessert for reasons of satiety. Ela's guesthouse impressed with its rustic atmosphere both inside and outside. We felt very, very comfortable. 1000 thanks. PS: The review was written in the restaurant because we were so enthusiastic and the experimental strawberry punch definitely belongs on the menu!!!!

We had the two Ukrainian specialties, the solyanka and the pizzas. Everything 5 stars or more. We'll try the homemade pasta on our next visit, but since the homemade pelmeni were already excellent, the pasta can only be good. You have to try it!

We've been there twice for dinner in the last few days. Because it is incredibly tasty, but also because the hosts are super friendly. We were there with three dogs and it wasn't a problem at all. We were immediately offered a great spot and fresh water. The ambience is large and unique. The food was really very tasty. We had the vegetarian burger, a salami pizza, pasta with spinach + shrimp and a schnitzel with fries. I can highly recommend the house garlic cream. Makes even simple fries a pleasure. All dishes were freshly prepared and extremely tasty and absolutely top price. Thank you for your hospitable nature. We will definitely come back.

As spontaneous as our longing trip to the Baltic Sea was, our telephone request for a table for dinner was just as spontaneous. The waiter was not only friendly on the phone, but also in person. He was able to communicate well with the younger guests and we felt very well looked after. The atmosphere invites you to linger and the food was great (very tasty, we had schnitzel, pizza and Ukrainian cabbage rolls)! The menu is manageable and also full of special dishes, which I personally think is great. We give it a clear recommendation and 5 points! Many thanks to ELAS Gasthaus.

The 170-year-old house matches the warmth of the owners, as does the food, freshly prepared with love and warmth. Homemade pasta, everything freshly prepared. Just to come back. Price is reasonable. That was great service and great food. The menu isn't that big... but it's hard to decide, it's very tasty! We will definitely visit again. Another huge compliment to the kitchen. A little addendum, we were here again today and the food was just as delicious as it was in autumn. The young lady who hosted us is a dream. We are looking forward to the next time!

The pasta with shrimp and spinach was very tasty after we pimped it with parmesan and sunflower seeds. The service was very active, courteous and extremely friendly, the atmosphere is rustic.

The small menu was very disappointing, we were always regulars and used to feel very comfortable, what a shame! Can't get back to the "old sweep" again. I tried the restaurant again and I have to say it was much better than the last time, I would only replace the beer benches from summer with armchairs, they are more comfortable, Until next time 😉

Absolute recommendation. The food is prepared with a lot of love and very fresh. The service can best be described as: “At home with friends”. Met something new with every visit - e.g. Andalö Spritz, Ukrainian Pelmeni and “Taupe”.

Super Ambiente, das Auge findet immer wieder kleine Details in der stimmigen Einrichtung. Noch besser als das Ambiente waren die Mitarbeiter und das sehr gute Essen. Danke an der Stelle an das freundliche Duo im Empfang und Service.

Hier wird mit Herz, Liebe und Seele gekocht. Das schmeckt man! Nothing fancy, aber ein wirklich gutes Restaurant. Freundliche Bedienung und ein schönes Ambiente runden den sehr positiven Eindruck ab.

Uriges Haus mit altmodischem Wohnzimmer-Flair. Muss man mögen, ich fand es stimmig. Es gibt viel Platz, die Gäste verteilen sich, was ich angenehm fand. Dadurch entsteht auch die Möglichkeit, spontan ohne Reservierung vorbeizukommen. Das Essen war durchweg sehr gut, insbesondere die Pelmeni haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren für unseren Geschmack etwas klein. Der Kellner begründete dies damit, dass in der Vergangenheit die Portionen größer gewesen seien und damals viel weggeschmissen werden musste. Nachvollziehbar. Die Möglichkeit, einen Nachschlag zu bekommen, räumte er jedoch erst nach dem Essen ein, als es zu spät war. Insgesamt wirkte der Service etwas verpeilt, glich dies jedoch mit Bemühtheit aus. Alles in allem ein gelungener und unterhaltsamer Abend.

Wunderbares Essen in einem schön eingerichteten alten Gasthaus. Der Wirt ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich einfach wohl.

Moin. War heute 29.08.23 zum Abendessen in der Gastronomie. Meine Meinung...so schlecht habe ich schon Jahre lang nicht mehr gegessen. Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln, irgendwas um die 14€ ,also ohne zu Übertreiben in einer Mitropa zu DDR Zeiten war es nicht schlechter. BRATKARTOFFELN ein Witz, Schnitzel frisch zubereitet, daß ich nicht lache . Nie wieder diese Gastronomie.

Wichtig vorweg: Seit April 2023 betreibt das Restaurant jemand Neues mit so viel Liebe und Herz, wie man es selten findet. Die Bewertungen, die also vor dieser Zeit geschrieben wurden, beziehen sich auf den alten Pächter. Das sollte man der Fairness halber beachten. Wir kamen zugällig während des Urlaubs an Ela’s Gasthaus vorbei. Wegen des freundlichen Ambientes und der sympatischen Betreiber blieben wir zum Essen. Und wir sind danach direkt drei weitere Abende in Folge wieder zum Essen gekommen, da es in dieser Liga in der Umgebung einfach nichts besseres gibt. Auf der gekonnt zusammengestellten Speisekarte findet sich eine tolle Auswahl an Gerichten, bei denen für jeden was dabei ist und die zeigt, dass hier jemand weiß, was er/sie kocht. Wir hatten die absolut hervorragende hausgemachte Pasta (Spinatpesto & Garnelen war unglaublich! Die Pasta mit Salbeibutter war auch überragend!), am nächsten Abend ein grandioses, dünnes und frisch geklopftes Schnitzel mit feinen Bratkartoffeln und frischem Salat, danach Bienenstich zum Nachtisch und begleitend GinTonics, die einfach Freude machen… Schade, dass wir schon wieder abreisen. Aber allein das Essen bei Ela‘s ist die Reise in den Norden wert! Dieses Restaurant ist ein echtes Highlight! Absolute Empfehlung!

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem schönen Ambiente zu einem fairen Preis. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch unser Hund durfte mit herein und hat selbstverständlich gleich etwas zu trinken bekommen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend hier. Aufgrund der vielen guten Empfehlungen wollten wir das Restaurant ausprobieren, die einigen schlechten Bewertungen haben uns neugierig gemacht. Wir können nur Positives berichten. Die Atmosphäre ist familiär, der Wirt sehr kinderfreundlich und das gesamte Essen sehr lecker! Es werden Sonderwünsche erfüllt, es wird kinderfreundliches Essen angeboten, wir Erwachsenen sind mit unseren Portionen gut satt geworden. Die hausgemachte Pasta und die Pelmeni sind besonders empfehlenswert. Lange warten mussten wir nicht, allerdings waren wir bereits um 17 Uhr da und somit die ersten Gäste. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Gefallen haben: nette Location - vorher als 'Kehrwieder' von anderen Inhabern geführt. Speisen Qualität gut, Service nett und flink. Weniger gefallen haben: Dauerbeschallung mit Standard-CD, die Güte der Karte entspricht eher den 80ern, die Portionen sind - gemessen am Preis - übersichtlich. Desserts sind keine in der Karte. Nur Barzahlung möglich, erfährt man aber auch erst vor Ort. Soul-Faktor kam leider keiner auf.

Was soll ich sagen, einfach ein Ort an dem man gerne is(s)t und trinkt. Man fühlt sich wohl, es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, man wird herzlich empfangen und bedient. Wir kamen einmal recht spät vom Angelausflug zurück und wurden dennoch bestens verköstigt. Der selbstgemachte Dip mit dem Brot ein absoluter Tipp, die Schnitzel sind butterzart und die Pizzen schmecken so lecker. Die Öffnungszeiten sind auch genial, so das man etwas später noch etwas bekommt. Herzlichen Dank und bis zum nächsten mal.

Empfehlung, wenn man mit kleineren Portionen klar kommt oder man sich drauf einstellt. Das meine ich wirklich genau so! Das Essen war geschmacklich sehr gut, die Servicekräfte waren keine Vollprofis eher familiär, aber ehrlich freundlich und haben einen nie lange warten lassen. Auf Sonderwünsche wurde problemlos eingegangen (es gab Schnitzel mit Pommes sowie Bratkartoffeln mit Spielgelei auf der Karte, Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffeln und Spiegelei war kein Problem). Das alte Bauernhaus hat ein unglaublich tolles Ambiente. Warum dann nur 3 Sterne? Die Portionen waren wirklich klein und die Beilagen ziemlich karg. Das Schnitzel war nur wenig größer als meine Handfläche, der Möhrensalat dazu ca. 1 Esslöffel, die Bratkartoffeln nicht reichlich aber ok. Ich haben als Nachtisch eine Kugel Eis bestellt, das war die kleinste Eiskugel meines Lebens. Die „halben Eiskugeln“ für Kinder beim Eiscafé bei uns zu Hause sind größer. Ich habe mir danach in der FeWo noch ein Brot geschmiert um nicht hungrig ins Bett zu gehen. Die Pelmeni von meiner Frau kamen kalt am Tisch an (wurden aber auf Nachfrage ohne Murren nochmal heiß gemacht.) Unsere leeren Teller wurden nach dem Essen nicht abgeräumt. Das fiel vor allem deshalb sehr auf weil die Kellner eigentlich sehr aufmerksam und oft am Tisch waren. 2 Mal zum nachfragen ob es geschmeckt hat, dann noch ein Mal wegen der Nachtischbestellung aber selbst als der Nachtisch gebracht wurde wurde ignoriert, dass da noch leere Teller im Weg stehen. Das wirkte schon fast wie Satire, wie die Eisbecher zwischen die dreckigen Teller gepuzzelt und diese selbst dann noch stehen gelassen wurden. Abschließend gehe ich mit wirklich gemischten Gefühlen aus dem Abend. Das Personal war wirklich freundlich und aufmerksam, nur das vermeiden die Teller abzuräumen fiel dabei völlig aus dem Bild. Das Essen war lecker, mir aber zu wenig und die Beilagen waren mir etwas zu schlicht. Man kann sich natürlich eine Vorspeise davor und einen Salat zum Essen dazu bestellen, wenn man weiß was einen erwartet. Ich würde vermutlich selbst nicht mehr vorschlagen dort essen zu gehen, würde aber mitgehen wenn die Familie oder Freunde dort essen gehen. Und wie gesagt wenn einem die kleineren Portionen nichts ausmachen oder man entsprechend noch dazu ordert kann man hier sehr schmackhaft essen. PS: Viele der großen Portionen auf den Bildern (alles was 2 Jahre oder älter ist, stammen noch von der alten Bewirtschaftung) PPS: Ich hatte dem Restaurant erst 2 Sterne gegeben, dies aber nochmal auf 3 angehoben, weil mir 2 im Nachhinein betrachtet als zu negativ vorkommen.
