El Toro in Berlin

Unfortunately, the service was poor. The waiters rearranged our table while we were sitting. We also had to wait a long time before we could all order. The steaks were very good but the pizza was unfortunately raw.

Super nice staff, delicious food & great prices!! It is beautifully decorated, especially for Christmas. I would like to give 15 stars. Ps: Sufficient parking spaces on site & recently: card payment possible.

Great atmosphere, very pleasant. Prices for 2024 unbeatable (even back then you couldn't eat at these prices). Price-performance ratio doesn't fit at all, as every dish is far too good ;) Staff always very friendly and professional. We came here twice in the same week.

Incredibly inexpensive and absolutely delicious! I've eaten better (quality), but it was at least three times as expensive. And it still tasted absolutely good at El Toro! Despite (only) 4 stars, I can ABSOLUTELY recommend this restaurant without reservation. We'll definitely be back!

Tasty and cheap, cozy. Quite a large selection of dishes and actually shockingly low prices. The downside is that you can only use cash, but for the quality of the food, this can be forgiven. We were thrilled, value for money 1 A without any compromises. The chef seems to know what he's doing; I've never had a rump steak grilled better to perfection anywhere else, not even in star restaurants. We'll be back, that's for sure.

I actually think the 50% discount campaign is a nice thing, but not when portions are reduced to the size of a senior's plate and you have to order two portions to get full. The thin and lukewarm fries are also not recommended. From 7 p.m. all cocktails were for € Offered 3.90 instead of €5.90 - according to my smartphone (7:04 p.m.) I waited until shortly after 7 p.m. to order two cocktails, but the full price was charged; according to the waiter, the internal clock of the cash register system is probably 2 hours behind running.

Pretty cheap since the Stone Age...but,...cheap, cheap or inexpensive is a big difference.

Cheap prices for frozen food, all in all OK

The steaks are great and are usually grilled to perfection. Always happy to come here. Update 11/26/23 Everything prepared to perfection and super tasty. The team is super nice. Update 06/07/24 It remains my favorite restaurant. Food was great again today. The service as always friendly and nice. Update 8/18/24 Today everything is on point and perfect again. This is how eating is fun.

El Toro has a special menu with very special prices for its 40th anniversary

I'm here today, you can't pay by card, the payment machine is broken, the chef must have changed because the portions are smaller, the steak was supposed to be medium, it was cooked perfectly, the staff didn't greet me during or after the meal asked if everything was OK.

It was always good and tasty, but lately it's no longer good and tasty, we gave the food back, the meat wasn't fresh, the carbonara was sour, the salad wasn't good either, I've always eaten there for years, now we're leaving Not going there anymore, really disappointed 😞

I have never experienced a worse restaurant. Fear flies on the food, Ambieten used to be nice 30 years ago. The chairs outside were broken, the light inside was flashing. The tablecloth was dirty. Never again

Delicious food, friendly service, cozy atmosphere. You can sit inside and outside. We were there in the afternoon at 4 p.m., there were enough free seats, I would rather book a table in advance in the evening, then it can get more crowded. I had lasagna, for dessert there was tiramisu 😋 simply heavenly delicious 👍

I've been a regular guest for years. The good quality has been the same ever since. I love the Champion cream sauce. Schnitzel Bolognese is huge and a dream. I would always come back to eat. Next time it will be the lasagna again.

Food only costs 50%, but 2 out of 4 dishes were only worth that much :(

Unfortunately, the service was really bad because you had to wait more than half an hour even though the restaurant wasn't even half full Unfortunately, you can also tell that the staff there is completely overwhelmed, and you can tell that when you order the drinks, they even came later than the food you ordered, even though there was already a gap of at least 5-10 minutes from the respective orders I just don't understand it, even my own waiter says that this can't be the case and there is a complete lack of communication between the employees This is probably the last time I will eat here with my family, although families have often celebrated here. It's a shame But good luck anyway, maybe some things would be taken to heart

On both visits the waiters, ordering and service were unpleasantly hectic. Both times we were there in a larger group.

There is the 50% anniversary offer, but the food choice only seems to be third choice. The lamb chops consisted almost entirely of fat. Galmy taste. The Bismark-style beef steak was carelessly prepared and garnished with an over-fried egg, and there were fries on the side, which were messy. For people with high blood pressure it would be okay as nothing was salted or seasoned. You also had to have barbecue and chili sauce. However, the beer from Franconia is quite good.

Super cheap, but also good and nice service. Pizza wasn't my thing but steak and salmon were great at an unbeatable price.

I've known El Toro for 30 years and used to go there often with my parents. The menu has hardly changed and the quality has remained the same. The dishes are cheap and I've certainly eaten better, but for the price you can't complain. As a child, my father let me try the frutti di mare salad and I haven't eaten a better one since then (although I'm sure it exists, but that's how it is with the first good memories)

Price performance - was really okay

We weren't greeted, had to find a table ourselves and then had to wait another 15 minutes until we left. No appreciation, no service, no recommendation.

Price and performance are very good

I'm really satisfied. I like to eat out often and this is where I found my favorite Italian restaurant. Super delicious food, nice service (especially Mario), great ambience and of course the prices. I will continue to come here and am already looking forward to the next time. Thanks to the whole El Toro team. Stay like that!

We were there for the third time and were always satisfied. Delicious schnitzel and cordon bleu! Lamb ribs with baked potatoes and spinach, delicious. Quality and cleanliness always impeccable. Waiters/service always friendly. Prices are fair. We'd love to come back soon!

Terrible disgusting food! My wife, my little child and I had beef fillet, wiener schnitzel, lasagne and spaghetti bolognese and each of us had food poisoning! The beef tenderloin was not beef. The fries were extremely soggy and wobbly! If there were 0 stars I would have given 0. I will never eat or pick up there again! They also wanted to rip me off with the price. At the door there is 50% off everything and in the end I was only deducted €1-2 for each dish. The normal price without 50% would have been €40 and I paid €35.80. Something is wrong. Plus on the menu for the children's menu there is spaghetti with tomato sauce or meat sauce, we took with meat sauce and were suddenly charged €2 more! Impudence! Not recommended and it's best to give the store a wide berth!

As of: 02/2024 Update: The ambience is still the same as before. Unfortunately the food and cleanliness has deteriorated somewhat. Food: Food arrived lukewarm. the 5 scampi we ordered came with a few arugula leaves and garlic in oil; no rice or potatoes with it. Steak El-Torro unfortunately included tendons and cartilage. The fish grill plate was ok, but unfortunately the sauce wasn't really tasty because, as we noticed, it's a fix product. Cleanliness: The sanitary facilities could do with a renovation and the tablecloths would have to be checked every time guests visit to see if there are any stains from leftover food or sauce. As of: 12/2022 We have known the restaurant for almost 7 years and occasionally eat there in the late afternoon when we are nearby. In the evening or when there are a larger number of guests, I think reservations should be made. In any case, the price-performance ratio is right. Prices have increased this year, but that is understandable. Nevertheless, the prices are still okay. The waiters are always nice and polite. The portions and the food itself, at least a matter of taste, were good. We always enjoy coming back 😊

Nice staff affordable prices good tasty food

Eating a steak outside in the sunshine, what more could you want? Even if it's cold and stormy, it still tastes good locally.

The service is super friendly, the prices are extremely good. There is enough space and you can come without a reservation. I was even able to take my little dog with me. You don't feel rushed and you don't have to wait long for your food. Cocktails are available for under €5. At the end there was also a schnapps on the house. We spent just under €45 for three people for a main course with dessert and wine. I will definitely go here again, I'm thrilled.

El Toro is no longer what it used to be. Prices are good, but the food tastes good too. Schnitzel arrived very dry and over-fried (almost burnt) and that was in 2 orders. The taste of the steak was 0, it was ordered medium well and it was served rare. The only thing that tasted good was the mixed salad. The ambience wasn't nice either, there was no sound of music, the candles on the table weren't lit. Service, a waiter who doesn't have a smile on his face... sad, something El Toro didn't used to do.

Always a pleasure. I'm happy to set off and spend over 300k for the steak. Staff as always very friendly and accommodating. Everything should stay that way.

All in all it's a great location. The food is good (upper middle class), the portions are quite large. The service is great and the facilities are very comfortable. Can just be recommended. At the moment almost all dishes on the menu are reduced by half. Is very positive in the current situation.

Wir waren eine sehr groß Gruppe und wir waren die letzten die bestellen konnten und ihr Essen bekommen haben, es hat sehr lange gedauert. Meins war ganz gut aber die Pizzen sind einfach garnicht gut.

Hier kann wirklich sehr gute Steak-Gerichte zu einem wirklich fairen Preis essen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist mehr als in Ordnung. Allerdings wird man erst beim bezahlen darauf hingewiesen, dass man nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann. Bei einer Rechnung für 8 Personen mehr als ärgerlich! Es gibt nirgends einen Hinweis darauf.

Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert. Und wir wurden sehr zügig bedient. Es könnte ein wenig gemütlicher sein.

War letztens nach dem Weihnachtsmarkt im El Toro mit Freunden die ich seid meiner Kindheit kenne. Vor 30 Jahren sind wir dort oft als Kinder zum Geburtstag oder mit Eltern essen gegangen. War ein toller flashback. Alles wie früher und schmeckt immer noch genau so gut. Und die Preise sind ja mal so billig gewesen. 50 % auf alles. Außer 51 u. 52. So günstig waren wir schon lange nicht mehr satt und besoffen gewesen. Wir werden bestimmt demnächst wieder kommen. Weiter so.

Sehr schönes Steakhaus mit freundlichen Kellner. Hier bekommt man viel für sein Geld, aber man merkt auch, dass die Qualität vom Fleisch nicht die beste sein kann.

The meat was delicious. Salad and cheese plate - some kind of misunderstanding. All from groceries from supermarkets around the corner. I do not recommend.

Waren vor ein paar Tagen dort. Meine Schwester hatte Nudeln sie fragte nach Parmesan klar kein Problem. Sie streute sich einige Teelöffel auf ihre Nudeln...als wir bemerkten,das der Parmesan mit ziemlich viel Schimmel durchsetzt war. Der Kellner entschuldigte sich....und bot ihr Tiramisu an obwohl meine Schwester das nicht wollte bekam sie es. Beim zahlen waren wir geschockt...die Nudeln meiner Schwester die noch fast komplett auf dem Teller waren ,sie das natürlich nicht gegessen hat wegen dem Schimmel stand auf der Rechnung.....als sie sich mit Recht weigerte das zu bezahlen...bekam sie die unglaubliche Antwort vom Kellner......ja dann muss ich es aus meiner Tasche bezahlen...wir unverschämt ist das bitte!!!!! Nie wieder in diesem Lokal!!!

War heute mit meiner Freundin zum ersten Mal dort essen. Sie kennt es schon seit Jahren und hat es daher empfohlen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ziemlich in Ordnung die Portionen sind gut und schmecken sehr gut . Obwohl das Restaurant knapp 20 Meter von einer befahrenen Straße entfernt ist stört der Stadtverkehr überhaupt nicht . Die Bedienung ist freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Wir sind zufrieden und werden dort noch öfters Essen gehen.

Essen war den Preisen entsprechend angemessen. Leider funktionierte die Kartenzahlung zufälligerweise am dem Tag nicht… scheint Masche zu sein…

Mit dem Service und Ambiente sind wir sehr zufrieden. Die Portionen sind nicht riesig, aber ausreichend und passend zum Preis.

Hallo Leute, wenn ihr lecker essen wollt, NICHT hier. Bedienung ist okay, Getränke gehen so, dass Bierchen vom Fass etwas schaaaal. Wir haben leider den Fehler gemacht, dass 2 mal hier her zu kommen....jeder verdient ja ne Chance.....ABER nein. Für uns nicht wieder

Es war ok, aber nur ok...über ein medium gebratenes Steak könnte man diskutieren, wann es noch roh ist oder medium. Das Restaurant könnte sauberer sein.

Mein Cordon Bleu war wie immer sehr gut reichhaltig. Bedienung sehr freundlich, umsichtig und schnell. Das Ambiente wirkt inzwischen etwas improvisiert und angestaubt, allerdings muss man auch bedenken daß die Preise sehr human sind. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder.

Waren heute das zweitemal dort, beim ersten mal waren wir echt begeistert, dass Essen und die Portionen waren super. Jetzt wurden die Preise erhöht und die Portionen wurden kleiner. Hatte die Bandnudeln in Champi Sahnesauce. Meine Frau musste lachen und fragte mich, ob ich eine Suppe bestellt habe, da die sauce super viel und dünnflüssig war. Alle guten Dinge sind 3, evtl hätte der Koch heute einfach einen schlechten Tag gehabt.

Je nach Gericht war das eine gut und das andere etwas besser. Schnelle Bedienung aber es war auch wenig besucht, der Flair sehr altertümlichen.

Sehr lecker und moderate preise

Wir hatten eine Kinderpizza und eine normale bestellt und die normale Pizza war höchstens 2cm größer als die für Kinder, das war wirklich absurd. Der Kellner sagte daraufhin, dass er da machtlos sei. Die Pilze auf der Pizza waren dazu noch aus der Dose. Jede TK Pizza schmeckt da besser. Nachdem die erste Person am Tisch ein kleines Getränk bestellt hatte, bekamen alle ein kleines Getränk.

Innen wie Aussentemperatur 👎👎👎👎 WC Spülung fast ohne Druck ... spült kaum das Papier runter ... 👎👎👎👎 Nur 1 funktionierender Wasserhahn - andere Waschgelegenheit defekt! >>>>> einiges verbesserungs!!nötig!! In die Jahre gekommenes Restaurant. Innen seit Urzeiten gleiches Mobiliar mit deutl. Spuren der Zeit ... u. Aussenbereich mit lieblos zusammengezimmertem "neuen Podest" während Gäste da waren. Parkplatz. Parkscheibe, sonst teuer!!! Steak, Pasta & Pizza preiswert, leider nicht immer gleich gute Qualität der Speisen >> je nach dem wer in der Küche steht!!!?! Personal langjährig - aber leider oft wechselnd freundlich!!! Kinderhochstühle, Rollstuhl möglich. Gut für größere Gruppen 🍕🍜🍝🍻🍷 Allerdings kein (!!) rollstuhlgerechtes WC - die Hygiene lässt dort sehr zu wünschen übrig!! Kein Wickeltisch. Alles in allem nicht mehr so gemütlich & sauber wie noch vor Jahrzehnten. That.s it.

Reichhaltiges Essen zum günstigen Preis. Toller Kellner, sehr nett und aufmerksam. Vom Geschmack wirklich lecker und somit sehr zu empfehlen, auch bei größeren Feiern. Gehen öfters hier essen.
