El Tinto Bodega - Tapas Bar in Berlin

A small but cute restaurant in the middle of the old town. A little hidden, in the basement. Great service, nice wine selection and very tasty tapas. Great to try out. I also find the price/performance ratio to be completely acceptable. I would love to come back.

I can't judge how the food tastes. Even though we had reserved, we only got the table for 1.5 hours. This made us feel rushed and just had a drink. I'm happy to spend money on hospitality and good food. But with time constraints, you don't feel welcome.

Delicious tapas, but very few vegetarian. There used to be more meat-free foods. The service was sometimes unfriendly and criticized the chair configuration - which they had created themselves - and blamed it on the guests. Very nice, albeit cramped, atmosphere

It's a great place! It's nice to have you in Köpenick! The food is really very good and the staff is very nice! The store is ALWAYS very full and you sometimes have to wait 5 minutes for your coke, but I think that's okay. Keep it up and it's great that you exist! 🫶🏻

my complain is that is always a bit too hot inside. but the food is great.Housewine like in Spain. Service is great usually dishes get served relatively fast. Always reserve by phone, usually is quite full Thu-Fri-Sat

Small, cozy restaurant in the "cellar", but very cozy with super nice staff. Be sure to make a reservation on the weekend as there is really little space or sit outside on the street on beer tent sets! Rustic interior with wooden tables and chairs. Typical Spanish tapas in small or sometimes large portions possible. Nice selection of wines. The food was very tasty, but with a few minor flaws... Chicken on the bone was a surprise to us, just like the prawns with the shell on, which we hadn't had before at the Spaniard. Basically doable, but the napkins are just far too thin to get your hands halfway clean. Also that there are no knives for eating...we asked but unfortunately only 2 pieces? receive. P.S. The allioli is awesome! Conclusion: I can definitely recommend the food and drinks are good and the staff is super nice and on the ball.

A very cozy, small tapas restaurant! The food is very authentic and the prices are more than reasonable given the portion sizes! The Perfect Allioli was also served with slightly warm bread. And the dessert is amazing!! We'll be back!

For me, El Tinto is one of the best tapas bars in Berlin. Unfortunately there are only a few places available, so you should reserve by phone in advance. The selection isn't huge, but it's tasty. The tables are close together due to the limited space, but that just makes it more likeable for me. I will come again.

El Tinto is such a hidden gem in Köpenick!! The food, the house wine, the friendly service, the Spanish vibe; they are just perfect!! Pro trip: always call or visit them to make reservations, as it can be (and always) full. We’ve been many many times actually and we never get disappointed, that’s how good they are!! If you happen to be in the area, this one is a must visit.

Everything here fits small, cozy, good atmosphere and getting a seat without a reservation is difficult. We've been there three times now and it's always good. Our second home is in Berlin, so we don't come here that often, otherwise it could become our regular place.

Very tasty tapas, very friendly and nice service. We spent a wonderful, relaxing evening sharing tapas. For two people we shared the cheese plate, green peppers and bacon-wrapped dates with 1/2 sangria. It was extremely tasty and sociable. We'd love to come back! Value for money is very reasonable.

El Tinto has a lot of tapas offers on the menu, and we, two mature adult couples, tasted eight different types and the food quality was comparable with many mainland Spanish restaurants. The Ipsis white wine was popular among my companions, and I got Spanish beer. We were sitting outside to the street side on benches after having made a reservation in advance, which is advisable due to the limited number of seats. The inside room in the basement seemed really small, and we were glad that we were outside. Food is served with small forks only, which are inadequate for enjoying chicken and rabbit. When I asked for knives, we got two small ones - the ones the restaurant had. The waitress made a very good job and was helpful and attentive.

They do their best, but the food is mediocre. Tortilla is far too dry, vieiras in a sweet onion sauce are not really tasty and the gambas a la plancha have never seen a baking tray (plancha) but were briefly fried in olive oil, so far too greasy. Everything is well priced. Not recommended.

The food is ok, but the prices are very high. The fact that you only have 2 hours of time is not always enough and then being forced out of the place in such an uncharacteristic way is really unworthy.

Klein und gut. Man sollte reservieren. Ich denke es ist der beste Spanier in der Ecke. Klar - in Mitte oder C'burg gibt es ein höheres Niveau, aber es schmeckt sehr gut, ist preiswert, gut mit Tram und Bus erreichbar - Hasta la victoria siempre 😎

War sehr lecker. Update: Das Essen war wie immer toll. Und natürlich ist es für eine Servicekraft nicht einfach, den vollen Laden so zu meistern. Aber: Wenn man einen Tisch von 18.30-20.30 Uhr hat, dann möchte man ohne Seitenkommentar um 20 Uhr noch ein Dessert bestellen. Und vor allem möchte man nicht um 20.20 Uhr zum Wechsel an die Bar aufgefordert werden, weil die neuen Gäste schon am Tisch stehen. Das ist sehr unhöflich! Darauf in Zukunft besser achten, dann kommen wir gerne wieder!

Empfehlenswert; sehr kleine Tapasbar, Raum fasst nur etwa 30 Personen, deswegen unbedingt vorher bestellen! Alles etwas eng, zu acht haben wir aber trotzdem ein schönes Plätzchen bekommen, wo wir uns alle gut unterhalten konnten. Das Servicepersonal war sehr fit und hat ohne Probleme die vielen kleinen Gerichte den Personen zuordnen können; die Rechnung ging auch einwandfrei auf ( da erlebt man mit Gruppen oft was anderes). Das Essen war lecker die Mengen waren auch ok. Typisch für Tapas würde ich sagen. Würde wieder dort hingehen.

Ich war ewig nicht hier, und habe mich sehr gefreut endlich mal wieder Zeit gefunden zu haben. Die Karte ist mehr oder weniger gleich geblieben und die Speisen sind nach wie vor suuuuuuuper lecker. Der Service ist gleichbleibend klasse und das Ambiente im Keller hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme - und das meine ich durchweg positiv. Ich war erfreut zu sehen, dass das Bad renoviert wurde ;) erwartungsgemäß sind die Preise etwas gestiegen, so wie eben überall. Nach wie vor ist es das aber wert. Und man muss definitiv reservieren, was für die Qualität spricht. Ich komme hoffentlich bald wieder. :) Ich hatte noch keine besseren Tapas in Berlin.

Tapas und bei unserem Besuch Estrella (Bier). Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, sehr schnelle Zubereitung unserer Bestellungen. Ich kann die Chorizo, das Hähnchen in Knoblauch, die Chipirones, die Aioli, das gerötete Knoblauchbrot mit leckerer roter Creme, Pimientos und Papas mit einer extra Portion Mojo Rojo und Aioli empfehlen. Alles war frisch und sehr schmackhaft. Wir kommen hier wieder her. Bitte reserviert auf jeden Fall Eure Plätze!

This place is the perfect replica of a random tapas bar in Galicia or even Andalucia. Estrella, the exact same olives, the same calamari, the small tables made of thick wood, great selection of wines. Loved the handwritten style menu. El Tinto is somehow even more spanish than Spain. Great great great, total win for someone who likes tapas and perhaps is a bit Spain-nostalgic ❤️
