I've been here several times and haven't been disappointed yet. The food is very 😋 tasty and the portion is quite decent. The service is quick and very friendly. However, when the restaurant is very busy, the background noise is unfortunately very high. Nevertheless, I would like to come back. 😁

What can I say about that now... Building is awesome. Food is awesome. Cocktails are awesome. Staff is just great. I had to write something else otherwise it would be weird 🤣 But honestly... the building is really great. I really like that. The food was also amazing. I was finally able to eat really good Mexican food again. The bartender can really tell from the cocktails and he's in a good mood too. The staff is generally in a very good mood. The hut was full, people constantly wanted something and so they had to run all the time, but they were still always friendly, courteous and helpful. I'll definitely come back here on my next vacation.

I've been here several times and have to say that I was actually quite satisfied until my last visit. Unfortunately, there is currently a decline in the quality of the kitchen. Prices have risen and the quality of the dishes has declined. This was evident in the fact that the meat gave the impression of being of inferior quality; in my burrito the beef was sometimes very full of cartilage and tendons. In addition, the seasoning of the refried beans has completely diminished. This was no longer balanced and spicy, but was simply completely overloaded with cumin and therefore simply tasted musty. My wife also noticed that her fajita now contained significantly more vegetables than meat than in the last few years of our visits. It's a shame that the kitchen has slacked off so much. Because the service and the ambience have always been good. Unfortunately, due to the declining cuisine, we are forced to look for another Mexican restaurant.

There is a wide range of food and drinks in a stylish ambience. The prices are very moderate. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The dishes are lovingly prepared and are very tasty. A visit (or several) is worthwhile.

The front, from where you can see the tram, is absolutely not recommended, at first it looked nice,... But when the room filled with guests, we had a headache from the noise, gave up talking and I just wanted to get out of that room, never again! The food was great

The place is quite noisy but that's typical of the style. We enjoyed it but as is often the case with Mexican cuisine, digestion is difficult. The menu is very extensive, which suggests frozen or ready-made ingredients. It's not great cuisine.

Five of us ate here as a family. The service is nice and attentive. It was incredibly loud, you could hardly understand the person you were talking to and you almost had to scream, just like the other guests did. The food is good, but far from exceptional. Some ingredients are clearly industrial and not homemade. My son ordered chicken tacos. But it was filled with just onions and peppers, and a few measly pieces of chicken. In one of the two tacos, there was no chicken at all! All plates are well stocked, but without any sophistication. Fast food meal, on a white plate, at restaurant prices... Really nothing special, and not recommended. We won't come back

Abundant meals, wide variety of options including vegetarian options, wide variety of drinks too which looked delicious and were quite big, friendly staff.

Only 5 stars is possible here. The best, really best Mexican in Bremen! Food: the food tastes really good, the nacho plate with cheese and jalapeños gratinated, the burritos or tacos are both great, the Tex Mex meat things are really juicy and well seasoned, the potato wedges are really fried to perfection and the homemade aioli is really great Awesome, the cocktails are also positive! 6/5 Service: the service staff are super friendly, the owner himself often serves, also very friendly. Eating doesn't take too long 15-30 minutes depending on how full it is. 5/5 Ambiance: what can I say, look at the pictures, it looks really great inside, I love it, it's fully furnished with a Mexican touch but it doesn't feel overwhelming, smokers have an area to themselves, it's also nice to sit outside 5/5 I'm really looking forward to the next visits!

Over the last few years it has become steadily more expensive here, but unfortunately at the same time the quality of the food has deteriorated enormously. The dishes cost around €20, even dry chips with three bland sauces cost €9. The meat of the burger is dry, a lot of garlic mayo is used instead of fresh sauces, chili con carne and baked potatoes are tasteless. We used to be here often because of the proximity to where we live, but unfortunately not in the future.

Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is completely excessive. The food looks and tastes as if a large part of it was made from ready-made products and you simply miss some ingredients completely. In the burrito you will find tons of corn and a tomato sauce, it only uses bean paste and not real beans, you won't find any rice and at the end you have a savory flatbread with cheese gratin. You then pay around €20 for this. Elsewhere in Bremen you can get a huge burrito with good ingredients and a good feeling after eating it for less than half the price. The service is good. We sat outside and had ants on the table and they dismissed them with the statement “yes, unfortunately we can’t get the problem under control :/”. If you swipe the menu across the table, you can also help yourself. Other than that, the service was courteous and quick. The ambience is nice and well decorated.

Extremely friendly staff, delicious food and despite the fact that we were sitting close to the street, we were able to chat undisturbed. There is plenty of choice on the menu and there is actually something for everyone. The portions are extremely generous and really tasty!!

What a pleasant gem in Bremen!! Just going through the menu I was already excited just by seeing the amount of flavourful options that I could choose from. When I finally made my decision, it was continued excitement from there on. From the amazing presentation, to the filled serving, right down to the mouthful of juicy spices. To anyone who visits Bremen, your experience will not be a full experience unless you stop by here and enjoy this restaurant. I was very satisfied with the food as well as the friendly staff working there. What’s even more great is having the option to sit inside or outside depending on the weather. Really great ambiance with all the matching decor! Thank you for the lovely experience!

I was at this particular restaurant two days ago, the hat hanging next to the window has cobwebs on it, our table wasn't cleaned well by the previous customer who sat there, the service was like he was bored at work, and as for that The quality of the food is definitely not worth the money

The food is very tasty and well prepared. It tastes good, what more could you want. Although there were quite a few guests there, the service staff were very nice and quick. With the temperatures so high, we sat inside and the ceiling fan made it quite pleasant.

Unfortunately, you don't have the allergens under control. According to the menu, the bacon-wrapped dates were supposed to be gluten-free but they were served with bread. And from what it feels like, my wife probably got gluten from her supposedly free dish. Not recommended for celiac disease

I always really like it when we are here. Delicious cocktails and delicious food. Nice waitresses. Can recommend the chicken burger with Camembert and cranberries. Important: You can also order small portions. I rarely manage the normal portions, but I don't think it's a bad idea to take the rest with me for the next day.

El Mariachi Bremen: Delicious food with small weaknesses 4 stars! We spontaneously got a table at El Mariachi Bremen and were served in a friendly manner. The food was tasty and the portions were good. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and cozy. The only drawback: Unfortunately, the drink we ordered didn't arrive anymore, which was probably simply forgotten. Apart from that, we enjoyed our visit to El Mariachi and would eat there again. A good, long-standing restaurant that has lost none of its quality despite its many years. Only the service sometimes seems a little disorganized, but that is probably due to the high fluctuation of staff. The atmosphere has been rustic and cozy for years. Some people don't like it, that's debatable (; All in all, down to earth Mexican. Not an insider tip but not to be despised either.

This is by far the dirtiest restaurant I have ever seen. The tables were very dirty and hadn't been wiped down for a long time. The floor everywhere was full of leftover food. The sauce bottles were completely crusty. Food wasn't good. Tacos completely soaked in oil. The baked potato was undercooked and therefore not edible. The Mexican pizza was okay.

The food was very tasty and we enjoyed it very much. The staff was friendly and helpful. Come again :-)

Good food, a really great bar, nice service. I always feel comfortable here. Unfortunately, parking is usually a challenge, but it's totally worth it! - Addition in spring 2024 - Unfortunately, there was a significant increase in prices; I even estimated that it was even closer to 35 percent for dishes and drinks. A price increase had to be logical in the current situation. But such a huge increase has now made us move to a restaurant nearby.

Food was very tasty, service was friendly, drinks (cocktails) were well mixed. The atmosphere is a bit old. Glasses are chipped and shouldn't be sent to the customer anymore, so keep an eye on that next time.

Unfortunately, I have to correct my previous review downwards. I wanted to eat at El Mariachi again after a long time and looked at the menu online at home. My ears were ringing, I tell you! Fajitas for almost 30€!!! Enchiladas for around €20! These are the prices for the normal main courses for ONE person! This can only be a bad joke. This is Mexican cuisine, a traditional home cooking. No upscale chic Micki cuisine. Too bad. In my opinion, Corona and the withdrawn VAT relief were used as a reason to drastically increase prices and because people still go there, they were left so relaxed. I prefer to visit other restaurants nearby (Greek, Spanish, Italian), which have also raised their prices, but to a degree where I don't feel like I've been cheated. Weak number. The main thing is that the cash register rings. 2 stars because the food tastes good.

From the outside alone, the location looks simply beautiful. Also well equipped inside. The food was great (we chose the fajitas), the staff was friendly and helpful and always had a funny saying. We felt very comfortable.

The food was very mediocre, no flavor, no spices. The place has a weird smell, should probably air the rooms. The service was polite and helpful but overall I wouldn't recommend.

Really something for fans who like to eat fried food.

The lunch menu is highly recommended. This is also available on Saturday. However, the normal prices are quite high, e.g. Spare ribs for over €20 (I think it was €22.90). However, the food is worth the price as it is very tasty. It was here that I ate delicious croquettes for the first time. The dill sauce for the pike perch was also very tasty. The tiramisu was authentic Italian. Also recommended.

This place serves good Mexican food and some exotic cocktails but sadly it’s very expensive for the portion size they serve, but the cocktails were worth it even though they were expensive …defined check this place out if budget is not a problem

Had another delicious dinner at El Mariachi. There really is something for everyone on the very extensive menu. Everything is very tasty and freshly prepared. The service is attentive and nice. The restaurant ambience makes a cozy impression. All in all we were very satisfied and will definitely come back.

When you hear or find this restaurant on Google you think you are right. Since it looks like you're going to have a good dinner/lunch. I have gone twice, to try two different dishes. Too expensive and their preparation leaves much to be desired. The "taco" plates are not real tacos. It is a giant piece of nacho, with huge pieces of meat and a lot of cheese on top. Fatal and a robbery. The place is not pretty at all and everything is old. From the entrance to the tables. If you want to go wrong, go eat Mexican food. You have to go to this site.

I'm actually so happy with the performance every time. The food is okay, but sometimes a bit bland. My salad was drowned in dressing, my cocktail had a moldy pineapple on the cocktail stick. Now you might think "isolated case", but unfortunately this is the second time in a row that this has happened to us. I definitely avoid this restaurant if I can.

El Mariachi is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always delicious and sufficient. There is a wide selection of different Mexican dishes. The diverse cocktails, especially at cocktail hour, round the whole thing off. The service is nice and the atmosphere is cozy. We always like to come over.

Uh €10 for frozen mozzarella sticks? 30€ for fajitas?

I had the mixed starter plate for €15, all frozen products (all fried) which unfortunately wasn't my case. The small salad on the plate was actually tastier. Than the rest. The oven potato was unfortunately not cooked through and was still hard in the middle. And unfortunately the prices are also very high!

I drove past it by chance and spontaneously decided on the way back...we'll go and have something to eat. It was a very late lunch, but what can I say, a wonderful hot dish was served at actual coffee time. Typically Mexican and incredibly tasty. Very large portions and more than recommended. The service at the table was super attentive, very friendly and accommodating. Conclusion: We will be back and can recommend it to others, because everyone who likes Mexican cuisine and is very hungry will be well looked after there.

I go there often and I love eating there. But yesterday I didn't think it was okay. The quality is no longer what it was. I always order the same thing. That's why I can compare it well. It is not okay to increase prices and reduce quantities. I hope it's different next time. Otherwise, I was your guest. Something like that doesn't work at all.

We used to order regularly there despite the fact that the food was already a bit expensive by bremen standards. Although 2024 brought an absurd price increase in most dishes with no change whatsoever in quality/quantity. Definitely not worth it anymore sadly.

Ich gehe oft ins Mariachi, aber welche Überraschung, als ich sah, dass innerhalb von zwei Wochen jedes Gericht um 3 bis 4 € teurer geworden war. Das Essen ist gut, aber definitiv nicht diesen Preis wert

Okay. Wir waren zu fünft zwar lediglich zum Mittagstisch dort, haben allerdings aus der normalen Karte bestellt, da uns die Mittagskarte nicht zusagte. Dass das umfangreiche Angebot der Karte auch mittags zur Verfügung steht, ist nicht immer sinnvoll, wie es sich hier zeigte. Das Essen war auf allen vier Tellern lieblos gewürzt und wirkte insgesamt nach Convinience Food. Klar … mexikanisches Essen gibt’s in vielen Variationen. Vielleicht haben wir auch nur nicht das richtige Essen bestellt. Schließlich ist der Laden immer gut/ sehr gut besucht, wenn man vorbeifährt. Erwähnenswert ist der eigentlich gute und freundliche Service, der aber wiederum ungern auf Beanstandungen reagiert. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt hier leider nicht.

Wir waren das erste mal bei einem Mexikaner 😀 essen. Kurz Vorab: Es hat sich definitiv mehr als gelohnt. Als Vorspeise gab es die Plato Variado for One. (Glaubt mir, es reicht locker für 2 Personen, seht Euch einfach die Fotos an) Zum Hauptgang entschieden wir uns für die Fajita Picante (super heiß&lecker) und die Enchilada mit Rind -gefiel mir persönlich eher nicht so, da die Fajita doch deutlich besser war. (Rindfleisch war im Vergleich nicht mehr so saftig, wie bei der Fajita, da im Ofen zu lange gegart) Wir kommen sicherlich noch einmal vorbei um andere Gerichte zu probieren. Der Service war top und aufmerksam. Achja, nicht zu vergessen: Cocktail bzw. Mocktail Happy Hour! Super große leckere Ipanema genossen😋🤗

Nettes Restaurant in Schwachhausen. Als wir hier waren, war es etwas laut durch viele Gäste und das Essen hat deshalb ein bisschen gedauert (es wurde uns gleich gesagt, dass es länger dauern wird). Das Essen war okay, ich hatte Fajita, mir kamen die Weizen Tortillas etwas zäh vor.
