That was not just good, that was very good

The service was relatively matter-of-fact, not to mention unfriendly at times. The ambiance in the restaurant is "nothing special." Only the menu reminds you of a Greek restaurant. The meat was too dry and there was far too much sauce for my taste.

The location is fantastic, and the service is good. The food, however, is mediocre. We didn't like the calamari; it was rather rubbery. Overall, the food was rather tasteless. The rice, fries, and appetizer salad had no taste. The gyro was okay. However, the portion of the gyro was rather small for the price.

Not so good at all. A sun-bleached, slightly stained tablecloth next to a flowerbed in need of maintenance, with a taciturn waiter and a flavorless salad on the side, devoid of Greek ingredients and lacking any passion for gastronomy.

Simply Wow!!! I was invited to a birthday party and had never eaten at this place before. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly server and taken to our reserved table. Finally, they took our drink orders, and in less than five minutes, the drinks were at our table, even though there were more than eight of us. The menu also has a wide selection, from small salads to meat platters and delicious desserts. I had the lamb platter and was more than satisfied; after ordering, our meal arrived on the table in less than 20 minutes. The meat was juicy, cooked through, and incredibly delicious. When our drinks were finished, they could see it from afar and approached us to ask if we wanted another drink. We were more than just pampered in this restaurant, and we will definitely be back. And best wishes to Mr. Ahasch, who always fulfilled our every wish. WE'LL BE BACK!!!

We ate here for the first time since the change of management and were very satisfied. The food was of high quality and very tasty. The prices were reasonable, and the portions were perfectly adequate. All this in a great location right next to the spa gardens. If you're looking for delicious Greek food, this is the place for you.

The restaurant is located in Villingen's spa gardens. It's beautifully decorated and has a lovely terrace. The food is delicious, and the portions aren't exactly small. The entire team was very friendly and accommodating. Everything was clean and tidy.

Went to El Greco today for dinner after 1 hour and 50 minutes, still no food, wanted to pay for the drinks and leave, but the boss said her food was just coming, it would have been better if we had only paid for the drinks, the food was bad

We went there to pick up food: salad, gyro, and fries. Unfortunately, the salad didn't taste good at all, absolutely not. The fries were very good. The gyro was a bit dry for our taste... The staff were very friendly.

Never again! After 30 minutes in the sun, I got up to throw away the previous customer's ashtray. I was given a menu, a waiter eventually appeared, and we ordered drinks, which didn't arrive for 20 minutes. In the end, we just left.

Very tasty meal “Poseidon Plate” eaten. Unfortunately, the waiter took the wrong order from my brother-in-law. Could be corrected. Salads taste good. Ouzo last 😀.

Today the food was just average (Hela's plate). But I would still go back and test it again. Update 07/22 still delicious. Portions just the right size. Reasonably priced

I dedicate this review to the waitress Agasch (hope I spelled her name correctly). I was in this restaurant for the first time with friends from Villingen. I didn't order anything to eat, just a white wine. But Agash brought me a red wine. The moment he put it on the table, he probably realized his mistake and asked again whether I had ordered a red wine. I said no and said that I drink the red wine. No problem. We then had a very nice conversation, Agasch reacted really well and, with a friendly smile, gave me a white wine to add to my red, since I had already drunk the red. My friends were all very happy with their food. Why a “Franco” wrote an incredibly bad review a few days ago will remain a secret.

The food is good - as with all Greek restaurants (too) much meat on the plate... The service team is incredibly lovable and always remains friendly even when stressed.

Der Service und das Essen waren wirklich sehr schlecht. Erst mussten wir lange warten, um unsere Bestellung aufgeben zu können, dann wurden die Salate ohne Besteck vor den Getränken serviert. Diese kamen erst als wir die Salate fast aufgegessen hatten. Der Fisch auf der Fischplatte für zwei Personen war nur lauwarm, die Garnelen so cross, dass man sie gar nicht essen konnte und das Gemüse darunter lediglich aus dem Wasser gezogen, ungewürzt. Auch auf dem Tisch gab es kein Salz oder Pfeffer, um nachzuwürzen. Es hat auch niemand nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung sei. So miserabel haben wir selten gegessen.

I recently had dinner here with my family, we sat outside on the terrace with a beautiful view of the spa garden. As always, the food was delicious and any special requests were also warmly welcomed. We didn't have to wait long for the food. The service was also very helpful and brought us drinks and food as quickly as possible. The waiters were always in a good mood and greeted us with a smile. Definitely recommended

Delicious food simply recommended. My children had a very nice time. The staff was very very friendly. The restaurant is definitely child-friendly. You can tell the waiters have fun working there. Always always helpful and very accommodating. Ahasch and the other waiters are extremely nice. Very highly recommended. We will definitely come back.

Food was okay. Nothing special. But the male Indian waitress just grinned at me. For me this is totally derogatory behavior. Making fun of guests is unacceptable. After all, he is just an Indian who has found asylum here in Germany. And should behave that way. For me, correct behavior towards all guests is part of good service. Which is why I can't recommend the restaurant.

Were there with the family. Great location. Park, playground, restaurant. The kitchen was very quick and the portion was sufficient. Shrimp pan was super tasty. The Alexander plate was ok. The Troy plate could have used more meat. The ice cream sundaes were very large and delicious. The gyro plate was good. All in all almost very good.

Heard a lot of positive things about the restaurant and went there for the first time today with friends. All I can say is awesome. The lamb couldn't have been prepared better. Service staff also very courteous and friendly. I wouldn't have expected it any other way, given how well attended they are. Is only recommended.

After 2 years I gave this restaurant another chance after being very disappointed on my last visit. Unfortunately, I found the current visit to be even worse. The quality and taste of the food is really very poor. Had a fish plate with vegetables. 1 shrimp 0.5 pieces of salmon. Indefinable breaded fish fillet and 3 calamari along with a mountain of vegetables that were probably just thawed and warmed up in water. No salt, no pepper, not to mention any other spices. The same with fish. I couldn't eat the vegetables with the best will in the world. Completely ignoring the almost full plate when clearing away seems to happen quite often. To then charge €25.50 for that is really cheeky. I found it outrageous to constantly dismiss people over 80 years old as young men/women. I can only advise against a visit.

I always enjoy coming to eat with my wife and son. Most recently last Sunday. As always, it was delicious! The dishes, the service and the location of the restaurant are top. The portion size is also right. Clear recommendation for people who appreciate Greek cuisine.

The place is good. However all meals contain French fries, French fries and French fries as sides, so boring... They should be more creative if they want to retain customers. I paid 20 euros for a dish called "Steak Mexican style" it was a steak with French fries and beans from the can... Seriously? I expected a steak with guacamole, chorizo or something like that.

Gewöhnlicher Grieche mit durchschnittlicher Speisekarte.

Nachdem wir in unserem Hotel nebenan keinen Tisch mehr bekommen haben,gingen wir zum El Greco. Ambiente ist ok mit schönem Garten.Wir bestellten Vorspeisen haben aber kein Besteck und extra Teller dazu bekommen…da wir hungrig waren haben wir mit den Händen das Brot ins Tzatziki und die restlichen Cremes getunkt und gegessen…die Cremes waren lecker …der Rest von den Hauptspeise war ok aber nichts besonderes …Ich nenne das immer der „01815“ Grieche mit seinen Marathon Akropolis Metaxa usw. Tellern…kennst du einen kennst du alle…langweilige Küche…Fleisch mit Reis oder Pommes …einfallslos Mensch ihr Hellenen könnt doch viel mehr als nur diese Standard Dinger …ihr habt so eine tolle Küche und beschränkt sie auf dieses langweilige Zeug ….Spezialteller ( Hähnchen war trocken und Hackfleischbällchen fad….) Preis/Leistung eher negativ… Also schlecht seid ihr nicht aber gut auch nicht ….Ihr könnt mehr draus machen und mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf euch ziehen…ich will euch nicht schlecht machen sondern auffordern was zu ändern
