Etwas abgerockt das Ambiente und Qualität des Essens eher gute Pommesbudde aber nicht weltbewegendes aber auch nichts schlechtes. So grade mal OK

Ein gutes griechisches Restaurant

Ich gehe jede Wochenende dahin einfach spitze. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle nett und korrekt.

Ich muss sagen dass es einen großen Qualitätsunterschied gab zwischen den zwei Gerichten die wir bestellt haben. Mein Partner war sehr zufrieden mit seinem "Tomahawk", das Fleisch war auch wirklich gut auf den Punkt gegart... Die beiliegenden Kroketten waren anscheinend selbstgemacht und haben demnach auch gut geschmeckt. Die weiteren Beilagen auf dem Teller fand ich eher spärlich und lieblos arrangiert. Ich hatte die gegrillte Leber. Leider war das Essen bereits kalt als es bei mir ankam und die Leber war so trocken und zäh wie ich es selten erlebt habe, die Pommes als Beilage waren ebenso keine besonders gute Wahl. Es fehlte jegliches Salz und alles war eher lieblos angerichtet. Ich finde das Ambiente hat er was von einer Eckkneipe zumindest im vorderen Bereich. Es ist sehr laut und ungemütlich. Hier hört man sowohl Radio Musik vom Tresen als auch die Musik aus dem hinteren Raum. Der Tresenbereich den man im Blick hat ist überhaupt nicht aufgeräumt. Da sieht es aus wie ein komplett chaotisches Mini Büro für Fußballfans. Wir hatten "Glück", nach sehr kurzer wartezeit und einem ersten Getränk am Tresen einen sitzplatz zu bekommen, haben aber leider auch dadurch mitbekommen wie gestresst und angespannt die ganze Atmosphäre dort war. Später zum bezahlen hatte man dann allerdings doch das Gefühl dass es auch freundlich geht... Ich muss sagen das war leider wahrscheinlich mein erstes und letztes Mal in diesem Restaurant.

Es ist immer wieder so lecker und das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und nett. Wir gehen immer gerne hierher her.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und das essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch der Service war sehr angenehm

Waren heute da, endlich hat es geklappt.Tisch muß man reservieren da es immer ausgebucht ist. Essen super lecker. Schön angerichtet .Service sehr gut. Sehr aufmerksam. Wunderschönes Ambiente. Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant, sind wir auf das El Greco aufmerksam geworden und wir waren sehr zufrieden. Der Service sehr freundlich , gemütliches Ambiente und sehr gutes Essen. Sollten wir mal wieder in Oberhausen oder in der Nähe sein , gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres und preisliche faires griechisches Essen wir kommen gerne noch öfters wieder :)

Super leckere Speisen, freundliches Personal und Chef. Gemütlicher Innen-und Außenbreich. Es lohnt sich dort, einzukehren. Waren mal wieder dort, Chef und Personal freundlich wie immer. Tisch vorher reserviert. da wir draußen sitzen wollten,die Außentemperatur nur vierzehn Grad,hat der Chef uns einen Heizstrahler angemacht,das fand ich super. Zasiki und Brot als Vorspeise und die Lammplatte, die Schweineleber, der Babykalamari und der Dias-Teller waren waren fantastisch. Kommen bald wieder.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Das Essen war hervorragend – frisch, authentisch und mit viel Geschmack. Die Bedienung war super freundlich und aufmerksam, man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Ein gutes Restaurant. Exzellenter Service. Die Inhaber sollten ihre Kellner wirklich wertschätzen, denn solche Mitarbeiter sind selten. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Gutes Essen und guter Service.

Ein Klassiker in Oberhausen. Etwas teuer, das Essen ist nichts besonderes aber es ist immer frisch und lecker. Am Wochenende ohne Reservierung geht nichts und wenn es brechend voll ist, ist es auch nicht mehr ruhig.

We ate here two evenings in a row, and I have to say the food was incredibly delicious and definitely plentiful. The service was also very friendly, the drinks and food came quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. I highly recommend this restaurant 👍

A very cozy restaurant, attentive staff, delicious food

My girlfriend and I ate at El Greco yesterday and we thought the restaurant was very nice. It's huge, with beautiful wall decor, and the staff were really friendly. We also saw the outdoor area, and it looked very cozy. We each ordered a platter, and the food was delicious. Most importantly, the portions were really large. I often have the problem of not getting full after a meal in a restaurant, but that was different at El Greco. I was very pleasantly surprised – the prices were right, too. All in all, a very great restaurant visit, highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back.

Very nice Greek restaurant. We've been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food always tastes great and the portions are just right. The ambiance is rustic, and the service is always very friendly.

Excellent food. We shared a cold and warm appetizer platter. We also had Gigantes baked with feta and a salad. Then we had dessert, Greek yogurt and Galakto...

Despite the limited staff, we were served delicious meals quickly! Generous portions. We enjoyed our meal. The outdoor terrace offers a lovely ambiance! We're always happy to come back! Thank you for the truly delicious food!

Uff....one star is still too much.eating and salad in a bowl is a total no-go for the price....definitely not worth a second visit....I ordered take-away food and everything was packed in an aluminum packaging...you don't do that and no, I wasn't in another restaurant...accept it...it's a disgrace to entertain guests like that

Our regular Greeks have been here for years. The food tastes very good, the atmosphere is super cozy and makes you feel good. The best thing is the service, always friendly and available for a nice conversation. We've been there with friends and family, everyone was thrilled and satisfied.If you like to eat good Greek food, you should go there.Absolute recommendation from me.

Was again with guests at El Creco on January 4th, 2025. The restaurant was full and food was brought out for all six of them together. The good quality of the food is well known; they even took the time to fillet my sea bream. My guests and I felt very comfortable and in good hands. The friendliness of the staff is amazing. Fantastic Greek food. Everything we ordered was delicious and was in decently large portions. The Schafskäse Bonbons, Gemüseauflauf, Gyros, Lammfilets, Haloumi were really good. The service was quick, warm and friendly. The restaurant is very well decorated and the ambience feels cosy and comfortable. This place is usually quite full and I would recommend reserving a table well in advance. They have their own parking behind the restaurant through a small passage.

A very nice restaurant with very good food, very friendly service and a great ambience. Suitable for a meal together for two and also for larger groups. This year we had Christmas dinner there with our department and it was once again outstanding. Many thanks to the entire staff at El Greco.

We were there twice and it tasted very good again. Good quality. No gristle or pieces of fat in the gyros and everything else tastes fresh and good. There was an Uzo before dinner and a small pudding on the house afterwards. Staff are friendly, as you would expect.

We ate there for the first time yesterday. It was a lovely evening with very good food and great service. Wheelchair users can also come to the restaurant through the beer garden. We will go to El Greco more often.

When the house is full, the food sometimes suffers, nice staff, nice outdoor area, in the evenings it is advisable to reserve in advance, parking inside can be very noisy on weekends and can be difficult.

My family always says that the meat and fish dishes are very tasty. I don't eat meat there, but I can highly recommend the vegetarian dishes there; a portion of fries or potatoes will fill you up too. The employees make a lot of effort if you have special requests. Recommended

Wir waren in dem Lokal in losen Abständen immer mal wieder zu Gast. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Bei unserem letzten Besuch mußten wir feststellen, das die Preise für die Speisen und Getränke heftig erhöht wurden. Das paßt nicht mehr. Auf den Arm nehmen können wir uns alleine. Da gehen wir lieber in ein anderes Restaurant.

Really very tasty food. We had the lamb platter and a grill platter. Both were great. The lamb was incredibly tender. In addition, the restaurant is really beautifully and stylishly furnished and the service was top. Very happy again. Edit: We've been there several times now and it's always been great. Our go-to spot for Greek dishes and especially lamb.

Without any expectations, we went looking for a restaurant on a short vacation and ended up here by chance. That was a very good decision. Cozy facility. Large selection. Prices completely okay. And incredibly child-friendly (eating on Sundays is free) and of course there was also something to paint. Everything worked out perfectly for us 👍 Clear recommendation. 5 Stars VG from Lower Saxony

We had a really great meal here today! Atmosphere is good! Service top friendly and funny! Food great! Soup was good, meat was super tender and the sauce (pepper sauce) was really delicious, the combination with everything was great! Highly recommended.

The best Greek restaurants in Oberhausen and Mülheim. All the dishes were super tasty and the price-performance ratio was right. Nice staff, accommodating and friendly. It used to be better. Unfortunately, I don't feel so comfortable there anymore.

Ordered food to pick up this evening. Octopus for €14.90. When we got home, we had to look for the octopus among the celery and onions. Balanced 65 grams for €14.90 We went back to the store to clarify the matter. A very rude, arrogant man was waiting for me who wanted to tell me that the octopus costs €45 per kilo and that I should also remember the VAT of 19%. And I had no idea about delicacies. If I want more then I should order gyros so I can get a larger portion. And if I could add one more thing, dear restaurant, there are many people here in Germany who can also buy and prepare fresh fish and also know the prices. Maybe appropriate behavior would have been okay and the matter would have been settled. It's a shame, we often came to them and ordered fish.

Musste für meine Seezunge 50.-€ bezahlen, habe bereits 15 mal Gästen eingeladen und Feierlichkeiten mit 10 und 15 Personen. Immer waren alle Gäste zufrieden Ambiente, Service und Qualität des Essen immer einwandfrei. Werde auch wieder hingehen. Ich habe schon Dorade Royal und Spieß um 28.-€ gegessen, aber das die Seezunge 80% Teurer ist als die Dorade Royal ist verwundert mich sehr. Es wäre sehr Kundenfreundlich, wenn auf der Speisekarte Tagespreis bitte Preis erfragen, um kein Schockerlebnis zu erleben. Aber der Fisch war super .

We walked there on spec during our visit to Oberhausen. On a busy Saturday evening, room was very kindly made available for us. We had a really delicious meal, the gyros are fantastic, and the desserts are also really good. You can't beat the price, it's all good and the owners and staff are extremely helpful and sweet. Definitely worth it!!!!
