Actually tasty but the fries from last time were very hard

We've been eating there for years and it tastes great. It's a nice atmosphere and friendly, nice staff. We can only recommend the restaurant.

It was only now that we were able to eat there for the first time and we regret not having done so sooner! Pretty Greek snack and gyros is really a poem - very delicately seasoned, perfectly grilled and beautifully thinly sliced. The food is usually on the table quickly after ordering. Prices are very fair, like in my case the “taxi plate” (currywurst, fries-mayo and gyros) for 9.50 euros. There are also cheap offers from time to time. Gyros fans should definitely take a look here.

Bad everything is thrown into the hairdresser, even the pita bread is disgusting and the old fat smells. When I order fried peppers I don't want anything fried unhealthy high 10 schnitzel never belongs in the pan again

I visit this restaurant regularly and am impressed every time. The Greek cuisine here is excellent – ​​the food is always fresh and incredibly tasty. Particularly noteworthy is the staff, who are always friendly and attentive. What I particularly appreciate is the consideration given to my food intolerances. The team always goes to great lengths to offer me a suitable alternative so that I can always enjoy the visit to the fullest. The ambience is also very nice and contributes to an overall successful visit to the restaurant. I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. Some guests might want to learn how to cook well themselves before criticizing. For me, this restaurant is a clear recommendation!

Animals are not allowed and there is no opportunity to sit outside. Tuna salad consists of a whole bowl of leaf lettuce, 1 slice of cucumber, 1 slice of tomato, some corn, 2 pieces of cheese and some tuna for €7.50 I think is too expensive

Geschmacklich eher nicht der Hit, Portion beim Gyros groß. Vegetarische Pita bestellt😀 Pita Brot in die Fritteuse Zaziki drauf, bisschen Eisbergsalat Tomate und Gurke plus ein großer Berg Zwiebeln und schon Fertig Das für 7€ ist schon eine Frechheit. Geschmacklich der Salat in Naturvariante. Danke nie wieder!!! Gyrosteller mit viel Fleisch ohne Geschmack, Pommes lagen schon eine Zeit fertig in der Schüssel, schön wabbelnd. Imbiss ist auf Masse ausgelegt und nicht auf Geschmack

No card payment possible!!! I then looked a bit puzzled because I'm not used to that and I haven't had any problems with it anywhere so far. The Greek Charm (very raw/loud) was then used to point out that they had had no problems with it for 6 years. Personally, I found the tone very rude. The rest of the staff is very friendly. Pretty restaurant and very clean. Ambience great!!! Prices are OK. Too expensive for snacks. But it has restaurant character.

A shop that is always full to capacity and is highly recommended in terms of price/performance ratio. It's an upscale diner. I don't want to say restaurant because it's more like a "chip shop". However, the food and service is great. There were no complaints from us. Gladly again!

The food beforehand is very good. But selling food outside the home at this price borders on outrageous and I can't write that clearly enough here. That was the last time I bought something from El Greco to pick up and, very importantly, not to deliver because they don't do that. It's a shame but for that price I can also go to a very good Greek restaurant here in Dorsten that has a completely different flair and status here in Dorsten.

Customer from day one. During the entire time, it hasn't let up once like some other companies. Quality price and quantity of food simply top. Boss and staff absolutely competent and super friendly. I don't even need to say anything because the staff knows exactly what I want. All thumbs up 👍👍👍

A good Greek restaurant. Nice personel. Catering was OK too. Delicious buffet. Good portions. Unfortunately we had to pick everything up ourselves and take it away afterwards. Not so tragic for us, but unfortunately not possible without a car. Our guests loved it, so we will definitely do it again.

It is a neat and modern restaurant, not the standard Greek in terms of decor. There is a take-away area and a seating area with service. The menu is a bit “simpler” but there is plenty of choice. There are several small starters and more than enough main courses. Desserts are not on the menu either, but the coffee we had after our meal was delicious! It is more of a Greek restaurant for “a quick bite” where you can still sit together. If you really want to have a sumptuous meal with fried scampi in herb butter as a starter, I don't recommend going here because you won't find it here. The food was great! And ultimately that is what we came for. NB; you can only pay in cash here!!!

Were there for the first time and the food came really quickly after ordering, unfortunately it took forever to order. I have to say the store was really full. The staff at the counter were very friendly. The serving staff seemed rather annoyed even when asked a simple question about where the toilets were. All in all, we'd be happy to come back next time we drive through.

For me, El Greco is a combination of a Greek snack bar and a restaurant. Either take-away or eating in the restaurant, both are possible. Service is usually quick and friendly, the food is tasty and portions are a good size. It's a shame that you can't pay by card (i.e. only cash) here.

El Greco is fresh and delicious. Delicious, hot for a low price. Gyros or taxi plate, My mind is getting brighter, Then an ouzo or two, If necessary, three.

Food not really special, staff is strange. Just asked a man after I had ordered a beer and a coke and wanted to look at the menu in English. The gentleman walked away from the table irritated and another woman came. Never again for me.

Das Essen ist sehr gut und sollte mal etwas nicht in Ordnung sein, ist der Chef jederzeit bereit Abhilfe zu schaffen. Hier wird man sehr gut behandelt und bedient👍. Ein sehr menschlicher Umgang, auch an schlechten Tagen und Ihr da draußen könnt doch mit Sicherheit nicht von Euch sagen das Ihr immer gut gelaunt seid. Wenn der Chef und seine Mitarbeiter im Stress sein letztes geben muss, weil er in Deutschland keine Mitarbeiter findent ( bekommen ja alle Geld für NICHTS tun ), dann kommt es auch schon mal vor das man mal etwas länger warten muss, das mal ein Lächeln fehlt, aber ehrlich dumme Kommentare oder Unverständnis helfen Ihm da nicht weiter. 😳 Also bleibt bitte fair. Alle vor Ort sind wirklich bemüht und vielleicht fragt Ihr einfach mal nett nach, dann bekommt Ihr sicherlich auch eine Erklärung und wahrscheinlich ein Lächeln 🤭. Diese Leistung die dort erbracht wird mit dem wenigen Personal, das solltet Ihr honorieren und Ihnen nicht auch noch das Leben erschweren 🤫. Denkt mal darüber nach. 1. Sehr schmackhaftes Essen. 2. Kurzfristig auf der Suche nach was zu Essen sind wir im El Greco positiv überrascht worden. Eine Mischung aus Abhol-Restaurant und ausreichend bequemen Sitzgelegenheiten, wo man auch in Ruhe vor Ort essen kann. Wir waren zu dritt relativ spät dort, der Service war schnell und aufmerksam, das Essen sehr lecker. Wenn wir wieder in Dorsten sind, werden wir mit Sicherheit wieder rein schauen.

Sind auf Empfehlung dort essen gewesen, das Essen war lecker und reichlich, sehr nettes und freundliches Personal,kann ich auch gerne weiterempfehlen.

Ich war dass erstmal in diesem Lokal. Es wirkte beim Eingang unpersönlich, machte aber einen komrein Eindruck. Es gibt eine Getränketheke und eine "Willkommens- Theke", mit einem freundlichem jungen Mann dahinter. Eine große Räumlichkeit insgesamt. Der erste unpersönliche Eindruck ändert sich sofort, wenn man von der " Bedienung " , eine angenehme "Dame" angesprochen wird. Es gibt keinen Zeitdruck für eine Bestellung. Man sucht sich einen freien Platz, wir waren zu zweit, und haben die Getränke bestellt. Anschließend haben wir aus der gut beschriebenen Speisekarte jeder ein Menü bestellt. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und geschmacklich gut, bzw. zum Wiederkommen. Anders als Griechische Speiselokale als früher, vor 20 Jahren oder noch früher. Es machte einen komm rein Eindruck!*** 👍😀

Wie immer, alles sehr gut! Vor allem, dass der Hund mit darf. Dadurch geht man nochmal so gerne dort hin! Eben zu allen freundlich!

Wir waren das erste Mal da, weil wir uns von positiven Reaktionen leiten ließen. Dass es sich hier nicht um ein schönes Lokal handelt, war uns vorher bewusst. Es herrscht 'Pommesbuden-Atmosphäre'. Dass wir dann jedoch fast eine ganze Stunde warten mussten, bis unser Essen kam, hat uns schon überrascht. Leider war dann das Essen auch, bis auf die Pommes, kalt. Auch geschmacklich war noch einige Luft nach oben. Okay, war ein Versuch!!!

El Greco ist einer der besten griechischen Restaurants/Imbiss im Umkreis. Das Essen und der Service ist absolut hervorragend. Das Team leistet jeden Tag gute Arbeit und haben trotz des hohen Aufkommen an Bestellungen Spaß an der Arbeit. Es macht mir jedes Mal wenn ich da bin gute Laune. Macht weiter so!!! Tolles Team 💪

Sind heute spontan nach einem Kino Besuch hingegangen. Eigentlich war nichts mehr frei. Die Bedienung wollte es trotzdem möglich machen, dass wir einen Tisch bekommen. Brauchte es dann nicht, da jemand aufgestanden ist die gerade "fertig"- sie sahen aber *nicht* fertig aus. Warum? - sollte sich noch herausstellen. Wir haben Platz genommen - und schon wurde nach den Getränken gefragt. Dann das Essen bestellt - und obwohl das Lokal komplett gefüllt war - und auch der Abholservice sehr gut genutzt wird, Kam dann auch in einer sehr abnehmbaren Zeit. Und dann...?? Was soll ich sagen? - ES WAR LECKER!!! Und wir sind (wie scheinbar die vor uns auch s.o.) satt und glücklich wieder heraus gegangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder - dann reservieren wir uns aber einen Platz. Danke!

Habe das Schnellrestaurant schon mehrfach besucht. Leider fehlt mir der typisch griechische Gemack bei Speisen und Salaten. Salate sind wohl frisch, werden aber ohne Dressing (Öl/Essig/Gewürze) serviert. Hier fehlt mir das Hezrblut der Betreiber. Essen war immer ehr fad. Hätte so gerne mal was pikantes oder gut gewürztes auf dem Teller gehabt. Bestellt man eine scharfe Curry-Wurst, wird einfach nur Curry darüber gestreut. Wie wär es denn mal mit zerstossenen Chili-Schoten. Würde den Betreibern raten auch mal was Neues auszuprobieren!

Der (neue??) Kollege im Service hat sich Mühe gegeben, leider trotz mehrfacher Wiederholung nicht verstanden, was wir wünschten. Daher entsprach dann auch das Essen nicht unserer Bestellung und die Pommes-Frites wurden mit der extra im Schälchen bestellten ( und berechneten ) Soße ermordet. Da wir keine Zeit hatten trotzdem gegessen, das war auch sehr lecker. Dann der Schock: Früher haben wir um 16,-€ bis 18,-€ für den IMBISS!! bezahlt, jetzt 23,50€!!!!! (Gleiche Speisen und Getränke) Bei allem Verständnis für erforderliche Preisanpassungen, jetzt wurde maßlos übertrieben. Wenn das in Raesfeld auch so gemacht wurde, werden wir nicht mehr kommen. Schade, war immer lecker, aber das geht so nicht.

Wir hatten ein Tisch für 5 Personen reserviert. Als wir ankamen, war weder ein Tisch frei, noch gedeckt. Nach einer Stunde Wartezeit ohne etwas zu Essen zu bekommen, haben wir dann das Restaurant ohne Essen verlassen. Nicht empfehlenswert!

Hurra! Endlich wieder essen gehen! Wie immer, total lecker gegessen! Alles frisch zubereitet! Nach der,, kleinen,, Renovierung ist es noch gemütlicher geworden!

Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet, ist sehr lecker, die Portionen sind sehr groß, das Ganze zu günstigen Preisen. Wir waren mehrmals da und haben wg Corona schon öfter bestellt: einfach super! Probiert die Achillesplatte für 3 Personen: Ihr esst 2 Tage.

Wer nicht besonders anspruchsvoll bei Ambiente und Speisen ist und pro Person nicht mehr als 15 € ausgeben will ist dort genau richtig. Alle von uns gegessenen Speisen wurden frisch zubereitet und haben gut geschmeckt. Im Sommer fehlt eine Klimatisierung, die Geräuschkulisse ladet nicht zum Unterhalten ein. Mir fehlen auch Desserts auf der Karte.

Ne vous fiez pas aux apparences, ce restaurant est à tomber ! Cela faisait longtemps que l'on cherchait un restaurant grec avec un bon gyros, un bon vin & un bon tzatziki. Et ça y est, on l'a trouvé! Très accueillant, nous avons été installés à notre table. Nous avons choisi l'assiette gyros avec salade & frites et le vin Imiglykos pour accompagner. La salade est fraîche et la vinaigrette est excellente. (Elle est servie en "entrée"). Le gyros était bien grillé, pas trop gras & délicieux. Le tzatziki (Zaziki in Deutsch) était tellement bon, qu'on n'a pas pu s'empêcher d'en commander 2 portions supplémentaires. Le vin était tempéré comme il le fallait et nous l'avons bien apprécié. Que dire de plus à part: "quand allez-vous ouvrir une franchise plus proche de chez nous ?"
