Very friendly and committed team with good service. Ambience Mexican themed. We were satisfied with the food. 140 euros for four people, two starters, four main courses, drinks and drinks, a dessert plus a little tip.

We were here with friends and had a nice evening. Even though it was quite busy, we got our food relatively quickly and at the same time. We shortened the waiting time until the main course with an appetizer. The service is super nice and attentive, the food is very tasty and the menu offers a lot of choice. The cocktails were also very good. All in all, highly recommended.

The service was attentive, friendly and really took the time to respond to special requests. From the first moment you feel welcome and in good hands.

Good mexican food with reasonable prices. Would highly recommend quesadillas. Inside is usually extremely warm therefore we could not fully enjoy our dish. However, staff is very friendly.

It's always very beautiful there. The food is really good and all the waitresses so far have been nice, polite and accommodating. The only small negative point is that it is usually quite full. Of course it speaks for the restaurant.

On a spa here in Bad Homburg and looking for a good restaurant, the 4.7 rating from El Dorado convinced us. So we reserved a table and went there this evening. What can I say... MEGA restaurant, great ambience, top notch staff and excellent food. Unfortunately I can only award 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - you would easily have earned twice the number of stars 👍. Guys, if you're in Bad Homburg... you have to go to El Dorado. Stay as you are - great place, great people, great food. And now a 'bye baba' from Vienna 😉🇦🇹 .... we'll be back!!!

More than decent mexican food. To their defense, we live in Texas, and we have more mexican and tex-mex restaurants and hole in the walls than Germany has stop signs. Margarita was good and strong, nachos with guacamole were ok, fajitas and taco salad were good. Great service!

We are both satisfied and in a good mood, returning home. For us, it was the first time at El Dorado. The ambience (newly renovated) and the food we ordered were tasty and beautifully decorated. For me, who is always very hungry, the "large" order was really big. My companion ordered VEGAN and was also delighted with the meal. The prices are commensurate with the level of a restaurant. The staff and the house owner were friendly and accommodating. I actually don't have a negative impression. "Therefore, subjective to me." A small thing that bothers me personally is when people point out tips, whether active or passive. It should always be up to the visitor to do this themselves. In my case, it was when paying by card. If I want, I leave my tip in cash at the table or counter. The situation was uncomfortable for me at that moment. Otherwise, everything went really well and really well. It was our first time there and we can only say positive things about our visit. The food is indescribably good, the homemade iced tea couldn't have been better, the atmosphere is great and hospitality is very important there. The food is really good, the restaurant also has a nice Mexican atmosphere, just a bit small and cramped, but sometimes you're not into that as a restaurant operator. However, I think the prices are a bit overpriced in some cases. If you want to have food delivered to you as an individual, you have to spend a minimum of €30. If you live in another part of the city, the minimum order value is €2-3 more plus delivery costs on top. This then comes to 35-40 € for one person. It's actually only worth it if you're ordering for several people.

My absolute favourite. Super tasty food, great service, very friendly staff who are always in a good mood and also like to have a joke. I've loved coming here for many years and wouldn't want to eat Mexican food anywhere else!

Most recent visit in April 2024, I don't know how many years we've been enjoying being guests at ElDorado, and I don't even want to go into individual dishes because we've never been disappointed with anything. Five well-deserved stars!

The ambience is very nice, the dishes are an absolute dream. I've been enjoying going there for years. An absolute highlight! We recommend.

Wir haben kurzfristig einen Platz im El Dorado bekommen (unbedingt reservieren vorher!) und haben den Besuch sehr genossen. Vorspeise: Nachos mit Guacamole, Käse und Salsa Roja waren klasse, ebenso die Hauptspeisen: Burrito mit Pulled pork und Fajitas mit Hähnchenfleisch. Alles auf den Punkt gewürzt und gegart. Für ein Dessert war leider kein Platz mehr im Magen - die Portionen sind allesamt groß - aber das holen wir bei unserem nächsten Besuch nach. Auch der Service war in jeder Hinsicht top: sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

We were here for the first time yesterday and it certainly wasn't the last time. Luckily 🍀 we got a table, it was very full which meant the service was very busy but they were all very friendly 👍. The food was super tasty and what is important to me is that the food was hot. The ambience was full Mexican as it should be. We will definitely come back and can 💯% honestly recommend it.

Obwohl das Restaurant sehr gut besucht war, wurde das Essen in einer angemessenen Zeit serviert. Eine Tischreservierung ist empfehlenswert. Die Parksituation rund um das Restaurant ist leider angespannt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren spontan im El Dorado essen und haben trotz vollem Restaurant ohne Reservierung schöne Plätze angeboten bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr kompetent und freundlich sowohl an der Bar als auch die Bedienung am Tisch. Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen mit der Firma dort. Die Speisen sind sehr lecker. Als Vorspeise hatte ich scharfe Tomatensuppe. Ich fand sie sehr gut. Auch die Hauptspeise Enchilada mit Gemüse fand ich sehr schmackhaft. Die Nachspeise war Knuspereis auch sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist ok.

Wir haben kurzfristig nach einer Möglichkeit gesucht in Bad Homburg gemütlich essen zu gehen. Mit dem Wissen, dass hier immer viel los ist haben wir es trotzdem versucht und hatten wirklich Glück, wir haben noch einen Hochtisch vor der Bar für vier ergattert. Nachdem wir uns gesetzt haben, wurden umgehend super freundlich bedient, auf Nachfrage nach einer Empfehlung wurde uns für die Vorspeise die Bananensuppe von El Chefe empfohlen und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht, die war ein Volltreffer. Zur Hauptspeise ein Burrito, Tacos und Burger und jedes der Gerichte war sehr gut, insbesondere der Burrito mit Pulled Pork. Es war sehr schön und wir werden gerne wieder kommen.

Das Essen war bis jetzt immer lecker. Es gibt immer wieder andere Highlights, so daß auch immer Abwechslung vorhanden ist. Ich persönlich, kann nie auf die Bananensuppe verzichten. Die allein hat schon 5 Sterne verdient 😂.

Das beste mexikanische Restaurant in der Umgebung. Sensationelle Einrichtung, die einem ein wohliges, familiäres Gefühl vermittelt. Gesellige, freundliche und interessierte Bedienung, die super zu der Optik des Ladens passen. Die Portionsgrößen sind optimal gewählt mit durchaus fairen Preisen. Das Essensangebot ist vorbildlich auf die Spezialitäten des Hauses zugeschnitten, ohne ein überwältigend großes Angebot zu haben, dass die Qualität darunter leiden würde. Wird mein neues Stamm-Restaurant um Leute einzuladen oder selbst hin und wieder die hierzulande doch recht seltene mexikanische Küche und das Ambiente zu genießen.

Ich bewerte normalerweise recht selten Dinge auf Google, aber das muss ich einfach mal loswerden. Ich mag dieses Restaurant wirklich sehr gerne, vor allem deswegen, weil es mich bis jetzt noch nicht einmal enttäuscht hat. Das Essen war bis jetzt ausnahmslos immer gut, das Personal freundlich und die allgemeine Atmosphäre sehr stimmig. Das lässt sich das Restaurant natürlich auch gut bezahlen, aber ich denke trotzdem, dass das Geld hier auf jeden Fall sehr gut angelegt ist. Große Empfehlung.

Wir genießen das tolle Essen des El Dorado schon seit Jahren und sind immer rundum zufrieden. Das Restaurant hat einen ganz eigenen Charme und ist gemütlich. Das gesamte Personal ist gut und locker drauf und gibt einem sofort das Gefühl absolut willkommen zu sein. Es macht einfach Spaß dort zu essen. Die Speisen selbst sind durch die Bank weg sehr gut und üppig. Auch zum mitnehmen haben wir schon oft online bestellt. Das klappt ebenfalls reibungslos. Wir sind und bleiben weiterhin begeisterte Gäste.
