Eiscafé & Pizzeria Brunello in Meppen

Alles war sehr lecker, der Service gut und die Mitarbeiter freundlich. Unbedingt ausprobieren, wenn ihr in der Nähe seid!

Das Eis schmeckt gut, aber noch besser ist die Pizza. Meiner Meinung nach die beste in Meppen. Leider liefern die nicht. Service kann besser.

Hatte Spaghetti mit Garnelen, geschmacklich eine Geschmacks Bombe, essen kam schnell und schön dekoriert. Nicht zerkocht, Garnelen auf den Punkt perfekt !! Zum Nachtisch gab es 2 Kugeln Eis war genau so wie das Essen Tipp top. Gehe gerne nochmal hin!!

Im Sommer zieht es besonders Kinder in die Eisdielen. Leider habe ich hier mehrfach erlebt, dass Kinder ignoriert wurden. Außerdem stellt sich mir die Frage, wie man einen Theke so hoch bauen kann, dass gerade Kinder nicht mal gesehen werden? Insgesamt für mich ein kinderunfreundlicher Umgang.

Schockiert vom Verhalten des Personals brachten sie Getränke und Speisekarten und kümmerten sich dann nicht mehr darum. Sie ließen uns warten, liefen herum, obwohl nicht viele Leute da waren, und fragten nicht einmal, was wir trinken wollten...

Die Pizza schmeckt nicht wirklich, die Zwiebeln werden einfach nur draufgeworfen und nicht vernünftig geschnitten.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker! Bisher immer ein richtig netter und schneller Service, kann man echt nur weiterempfehlen bei Brunello Essen zu gehen, da es auch sehr zentral im centrum von Meppen ist hat man auch eine schöne Aussicht auf die Innenstadt 👍

Leckeres Essen und tolles Eis Sehr nette Leute

Das Essen war hervorragend! Der Salat war super frisch und das Dressing sehr lecker. Der Pizzateig war perfekt und der Service war erstklassig. Gerne wieder!

Unhöflich, teuer als in jeder Großstadt wo ich bis jetzt war + hatte 30 Sorten in meiner Kugel (gefühlt)

Wir haben mit den Kindern einen Zwischenstopp für einen Snack/ein Eis eingelegt. Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gegenüber Touristen. Außerdem war es sehr preiswert!

Wir sind schon öfters dort gewesen. Das Eis 🍨 und auch das Essen der Küche ist sehr gut. Schön auch im Mittag oder Nachmittags Essen gehen zu können,- allerdings sehr schade, dass es keinen Wein oder wenigstens Flaschen Bier gibt ...... der Service ist freundlich und schnell ... Beste Essen, sehr lecker, wir kommen wieder

Positiv: Ausreichend Sitzplätze Draußen in der Fußgängerzone (super bei Sonnenwetter) Negativ: Das Eis ist von den Portionen her sehr klein. z.B Banana Slit, Kiwibecher, Tropicalbecher, durch die Bank weg sehr kleine Portionen Dazu schmeckt es oft stark nach Eiskristallen und vom Geschmack sehr faade. Preise sind dafür zu hoch. Obst wird so wenig in Eisbecher gemacht, dass man z.B von einem Kiwibecher nur eine Scheibe Kiwi hat, dazu keine Kiwisoße, sondern Erdbeersoße, als Eis gibt's dann Vanille und Erdbeer, sodass der Kiwibecher dann nichts mit Kiwi zu tun hat, sehr Schade Das war auch bei anderen Eiskreationen der Fall.

Das Essen ist sehr gut, man merkt, dass es professionell zubereitet wurde, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm, obwohl die Tische draußen nicht oft gereinigt werden, der Service ist schnell, das Personal ist freundlich, besonders zu Kindern, ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen.

Leider enttäuschender Service trotz guter Lage. Wir waren hier inzwischen mehrmals, meist um mit unseren Kindern ein Eis zu kaufen. Das Eis selbst ist in Ordnung – mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. Was allerdings jedes Mal negativ auffällt, ist der Umgang des Personals mit Gästen, insbesondere mit Familien mit Kindern. Die Atmosphäre wirkt kühl und wenig willkommen, Blicke und Tonfall sind oft eher abweisend als freundlich. Beim letzten Besuch wurde meine Frau sogar aufgefordert, benutzte Servietten nach draußen zu bringen und dort zu entsorgen, anstatt sie einfach entgegenzunehmen – obwohl sie höflich gefragt hatte, wo man diese entsorgen könne. Das empfanden wir als unnötig und respektlos. Zusätzlich wirkt das Interieur insgesamt stark in die Jahre gekommen: alte, abgenutzte Stühle und wenig einladendes Ambiente. Schade, denn bei einem Café in zentraler Lage erwartet man zumindest ein neutrales, freundliches Auftreten gegenüber allen Gästen. Für Familien mit Kindern können wir dieses Lokal leider nicht empfehlen.

Bedienung echt träge und nicht freundlich. Eher so nach dem Motto ist mir doch egal. Preislich überteuert und das Eis war auch nicht das was wir bestellt hatten! Zu dem gibt es wo anders mehr. Schade ich war schon öfters da und so spiegelt es sich leider wieder. Als Eisdiele nur bedingt zu empfehlen.

Haben keine Sterne verdient! Da wir erst gar nicht bedient wurden. Es war nichts los. Wurden nur doof angeschaut. Also sind wir in die nächste Eisdiele.

At first glance, for us on vacation, it looked like "just" an ice cream parlor. Until we saw they also served food. We had pizza, and it was the best pizza we've ever had. Absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, it's too far away from us, otherwise we would be happy regulars!

I'd rather not give any stars at all. The ice cream was almost completely melted, and the milkshake was as warm as if the milk had just come from the cow. The service was abysmal. The server who served us seemed to be the epitome of rudeness or simply didn't feel like doing his job (in which case he should find something else). Customer-friendly is a whole different story. Legend has it that people still look for the banana in milkshakes.

For us, it was a complete disappointment! 1 x After Eight cup 1 x Spaghetti ice cream 1 x Cake/Cappuccino 🔽 €25! Not a single napkin, a boring ice cream sundae without any love or refinement, let alone a taste match! The After Eight chocolate bars were ancient. The cake was no longer fresh, and the cappuccino lukewarm! The only good thing was that you could sit outside😣 The young waitress didn't understand how to give us a receipt because I had to tear it off one by one. It was absurd; there are better ice cream parlors! Oh yeah, there wasn't even a napkin! When I asked if we could have three, they handed us a paper tissue from the practical disposable box🥴

Well... we wanted to treat ourselves to some nice ice cream... Mickey Mouse ice cream for €6! We got a scoop of ice cream with three Smarties and waffles soaked in strawberry sauce. My daughter was very disappointed and didn't want to eat it at all. Our sundaes were only half full. And that for €10! Unfortunately, the ice cream had no flavor either. I couldn't tell which flavor was on my tongue. I was very disappointed for the money.

Very friendly service! The food is okay.

I really liked the café! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and fresh, and everything was prepared with love. The only thing that was confusing was the wait to pay, but that didn't spoil the experience. Overall, I'll definitely come back and recommend it!

The selection is good, prices are reasonable. You should be patient when it comes to service. Unfortunately, I have to say how condescendingly the employees are treated (and in front of customers). A big no-go! Very unprofessional. The ambiance is modern and cozy.

Very nicely decorated, very clean, and above all, the food tastes delicious. Fresh and beautifully presented. I like the attentive staff, especially the young, short waitress with dark hair who is very prompt!

I got some spaghetti ice cream to take away. Unfortunately I had to discover that it was made without cream and without strawberries and was very disappointed, at least the cream is part of the spaghetti ice cream, small ice cream and that for €8.

I would recommend everyone to go there, service is extremely nice and recommend things to you if you don't know what to do next

We ate our Italian ice cream and spaghetti Napoli with American hip hop (a bit annoying). The spaghetti was very al dente and the sauce was mediocre. The chocolate spaghetti ice cream was very small and the cream was almost non-existent. Unfortunately, the milk coffee also didn't have much flavor. The waffles were fresh but overall everything was very lackluster. Of course we compare it with other ice cream cafes in Emsland, but unfortunately we were disappointed this time. We actually know better locations in Emsland under the name Brunello.

This little place is amazing. The Wait staff are so kind and helpful even when we spoke a language they don’t understand. The food is so good. We even went back the next day! It’s definitely a hidden treasure in this small town.

A large selection of ice cream and a TOP taste experience left a lasting impression on us. One of the best ice creams I've eaten in my life. Everything would have been fine if I had received a receipt when paying. Even when asked, there was none. This left us with a bad taste when it came to taxes.

It's hard to believe, we actually just wanted something to drink. That's when the menu opened up for me. And we ordered. What can I say, it was so delicious here, we have rarely eaten so well. Price performance cannot be topped. We will come back and eat our way through the kitchen.

Unfortunately the salad is not recommended. Expensive and only iceberg lettuce with a few cucumbers and very little chicken... the salad also took the longest alongside the other warm dishes. Price performance so not so great when it comes to food.

We ordered 6.40 worth of ice creams. The ATM showed €6.40, but €64.01 was debited! We had to drive back to Meppen from Aalden. Fortunately we got 60 euros back. ASN bank was unable to retrieve the PIN transaction. After we showed the bank statement, they showed the pin receipt for the amount of 64.01. Fortunately it has been resolved! This review was simply deleted!

Waiter seemed annoyed and not very friendly. Ice cream was very very sweet and not as tasty as hoped. Images from memory card not accurate. Strawberry mug did not have fresh strawberries as promised in the picture.

The place is nice and quiet , so you can sit and relax, and the food is very delicious. Most of the time I spend my lunch break here 😄😄.

I like to eat MALAGA ice cream, which tasted great. My partner ordered a strawberry 🍓 milkshake. It was also delicious.

Very expensive. 1 non-alcoholic beer and a rooibos tea together 10 euros. There are no price cards on the table, so it is impossible to check whether the prices were taken out of thin air. You have to wait a long time before you are helped and then for your order. Staff is very unfriendly.

Food was okay, there was pizza at the next table which looked really good and seemed big. We decided on a little something and ordered bruschetta. I was missing a bit of spice and a little garlic. And unfortunately there was no salt etc. on the table. There is only non-alcoholic beer here and you are not informed of this when ordering. All in all good and the ice cream was delicious.

Lots of choice on the ice cream menu, regular ice cream and spaghetti ice cream. So much to choose from that it almost becomes difficult to choose. It is very tasty and very friendly service.

Wir haben bei Brunello Pizza bestellt und im Restarant verzehrt. Soweit war alles okay. Die Pizzas waren auch geschmacklich völlig in Ordnung. Als ich meine Pizza fast aufgegessen hatte, habe ich etwas komisches im Mund gespürt. Nach Betrachtung stellte es sich als ein ca. 1 cm langer Metalldraht heraus. Der Kellner hat es so erklärt, daß der Pizzastein mit einer Drahtbürste gereinigt wird?! Keine Entschuldigung, keine Ermäßigung bei der Rechnung. Frechheit. Waren das letzte Mal dort !!!

Leider ist das Personal SEHR unfreundlich und lustlos. Die Preise sind nicht angemessen. Nie wieder!

Unser Eis war geschmacklich top! Service war grundsolide da neben der Theke (Wartezeit ca. 5min. ). Es war einiges los und der eine oder andere Gast könnte länger wie wir gewartet haben. Toilette ist nicht Rollstuhlfahrer tauglich (Treppe) Eistechnisch empfehlenswert!

Es war ein Sonntag und wir suchten zu zweit eine Eisdiele in der meppener Innenstadt. Glück gehabt, ein Tisch war frei. Die Eiskarte sah gut aus und die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und serviert. Das Eis war ok, doch warum nur drei Sterne? Leute arbeitet an eurer Bedienung. Die Mädels waren irgendwie lustlos und auch nicht besonders freundlich. Der Hammer dann beim Bezahlen. Trinkgeld gebe ich gerne, doch erwarte ich vorher auch bestimmte Grundlagen. So habe ich nur auf den vollen Euro aufgerundet, bekam aber noch einen Euro weniger zurück. Da hat sich die Dame einfach das Trinkgeld selbst erhöht. Darauf angesprochen reagierte sie ziemlich ungehalten. Ich habe dann das kleinste Kleingeld zurückbekommen. Für mich war das eine ziemliche Frechheit und dafür gibt es auch keine gute Bewertung.

Das Spaghettieis war geschmacklich top. Für 8€ war die Portion allerdings zu klein.

Das Eis ist nach wie vor sehr lecker und von guter Qualität. Der Service ist aber dringend verbesserungswürdig. Wir haben nach Erhalt der Karte über 15 Minuten darauf gewartet, dass jemand die Bestellung aufnimmt und erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen bei einer jungen Dame, die anscheinend nur Bestellungen bringen und Tische abräumen durfte, kam endlich jemand (wir waren kurz davor, das Lokal zu verlassen). Dann wurde nach weiteren 10 Minuten auch noch eine von vier Bestellungen falsch gebracht, sodass wir noch weiter warten mussten. Nach 30 Minuten hatten wir dann endlich 4 Portionen Eis, die sehr lecker waren. Man muss dazu sagen, dass der Aussenbereich, in dem wir gesessen haben nicht mal zur Hälfte besetzt war, sodass ein etwas flotterer Service in meinen Augen durchaus möglich gewesen wäre (es waren immerhin mindestens 5 Angestellte vor Ort).

Bewertung wurde vom Besitzer an Google gemeldet und eine Stellungnahme meinerseits gefordert. Bestellung wurde rund 45 Minuten nach Aufgabe nicht serviert. Es hieß es liegt ein Systemfehler vor. Wir mussten erneut bestellen. Andere Gäste, die später gekommen sind, haben ihr Essen erhalten. Das pizzabrot war verbrannt und nicht servierfähig. Die pizzen waren in Ordnung. Als Entschädigung wurden Getränke auf Nachfrage angeboten. Daher knapp 3 Sterne.
