The food was incredibly delicious, the atmosphere very pleasant and the service extremely friendly. Many thanks to the Einhorn restaurant in the center of Baden-Baden! We have already made a reservation for Valentine's Day and are looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful meals that feel home cooked, with an abundance of fresh and perfectly seasoned produce. The cosy and inviting atmosphere truly transforms this restaurant into an experience that would delight anyone; local or tourist. What a nice surprise. We already knew the place for a drink on the terrace. But we had never eaten there before. Yesterday I did and it was fantastic. A lot of attention for the guest, informal, pleasant atmosphere and very good cuisine. We even received an explanation from the chef after a question about the preparation of a dish. The people who work there are very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely return during our next stay in Baden Baden. Whenever you want to go: make a reservation because it is a small-scale restaurant and fills up quickly. Thank you for your hospitality ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We would have liked to have a coffee or a spritz, unfortunately we were not allowed to enter the restaurant and were turned away at the door, saying that we were only allowed to sit outside. At 1:30 p.m. all the seats inside were unoccupied... very unfriendly. What a shame, came on a recommendation!

Comfortable and casual restaurant offering a good selection of dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would visit again.

I had heard they did well with breakfast and brunch, and it turned out they did quite well with dinner as well. The Unicorn salad had generous slices of real chicken, as opposed to that processed nugget stuff, and it was uniquely arranged with a superior home-made balsamic dressing. The service was dragging a bit, but the main dishes quickly came with a simple reminder. My wife definitely enjoyed the club sandwich special, and the black gnocchi dish with pesto sauce was generously portioned and filling.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und richtig gut geschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist stimmig, das Team des Einhorn sehr freundlich,sehr aufmerksam. Der Service ist perfekt. Die Speisekarte ist reichhaltig und allen vieren von uns haben die gewählten Speisen sehr gut geschmeckt. Zum Wiederkommen!

After a long journey home from Italy what a great place to come across. Steak was fantastic, Risotto likewise, perfect host.

Simply Perfect, a real culinary delight Best food in town. - Pasta as good as in the best Restaurants in Italy. - Steaks and veggies fresh and tender like in one of the best restaurants in South Africa. Kitchen at its best. Highly recommendable. With personal attention and passion lead by the owner himself. Desert Panna Cotta with berries and Mango and the Espresso was excellent too. We will definetly come back!!!!

Solid restaurant, service was very attentive, outdoor area was a bit dreary, food was good, it lacked a bit of spice, but everything was still ok.

Das Einhorn ist direkt in der Stadtmitte, eine Straße unterhalb der Fußgängerzone. Man muss also z.B. in einem Parkhaus in der Umgebung parken. Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür. Sehr klein, innen etwa Platz für 30 Leute. Und die Tische stehen sehr eng, wie in Frankreich – 2er Tische nebeneinander in einer langen Reihe, die bei Bedarf nur etwas auseinandergezogen werden. Für mich ist das nicht lauschig. Moderne, einfache Einrichtung, dunkles Holz. Großer Außenbereich. Karte eher italienisch, denn nur mediterran. Bedienung freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen war alles frisch und lecker und trotz Vollbesetzung keine lange Wartezeit. Hätte aber alles etwas herzhafter gewürzt sein können. Für Damen gibt es leider nur 1 Toilette in schwarz, da sieht man natürlich jeden Putzstreifen drauf, wenn nicht trockenpoliert wird. Sonst aber sauber. Kein Tageslicht/Fenster. Bewegungsmelder.

The Unicorn is right in the city center, one street below the pedestrian zone. For example, you have to park in a nearby parking garage. Bus stop right in front of the door. Very small, about 30 people inside. And the tables are very close together, like in France - two tables next to each other in a long row, which can only be pulled apart a little if necessary. For me that's not cozy. Modern, simple furnishings, dark wood. Large outdoor area. The menu is more Italian than just Mediterranean. Service friendly and attentive. The food was all fresh and tasty and there wasn't a long wait despite it being full. But everything could have been seasoned a little more heartily. Unfortunately for women there is only 1 toilet in black, so of course you can see every strip of plaster on it if it is not dry polished. But otherwise clean. No natural light/windows. Motion detector.

A pity! We were only offered a table on the condition that we should eat something “real” (expensive). It was said in advance that “just” a side salad (€8) is not enough.

The omelette and service as very good! However, the avocado on toast tasted very bad (artificial flavour not natural avocado) and the coffer was below averaged (we had a cappuccino). Pls change to natural avocado (sliced) and improve the coffee. Thanks

Oh my goodness we loved this place! Cute outside and unique inside. Service is fantastic. And the food!!! Wow. The Einhorn salad made my whole body happy. My husband’s lamb was probably the best lamb e ever had. The wine was lovely. I can’t wait to go back.

Wir wohnen in BB und sind des öfteren im Einhorn. Es ist immer wieder ein Erlebnis. Inge und Romano sind die perfekten Gastgeber. Muss aus gesundheitlichen Gründen vegan essen. Kein Problem. Der Koch zaubert veganes Risotto vom Feinsten. Können das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Waren mit einer Freundin vor 2 Wochen dort und sie hat das Einhorn zu ihrem neuen Lieblingslokal in BB "erkoren". Sind am Samstag wieder mit Freunden dorrt und freuen uns jetzt schon. Weiter so :)

We've been there for the third time and always before the winter holidays, unfortunately there's only drinks available. We won't be coming back.

a funny idea, Special cakes and also savory dishes

Today we were at the Unicorn for the first time. We had a reservation and still had to wait 15 minutes. That wasn't a big deal and we got a glass of Prosecco to pass the waiting time. The service was very friendly and the Prosecco was delicious. Unfortunately that was it. We had several dishes. One of them was a bread with guacamole, rocket, bacon and a fried egg. The guacamole was a tragedy. Way too much acid and garlic. The consistency was similar to paste as it was probably prepared in a blender. My wife had the veggie breakfast. Apparently with cheese specialties, which consisted of a single slice of Tilsiter and a square of Camembert. The guacamole that should have been included was forgotten. It can happen, but we didn't complain about it because we already knew what to expect. The three pancakes we also had tasted OK, but nothing special. We then left the restaurant completely unsatisfied. Price/performance doesn't fit here at all. The restaurant has potential. But something has to change in the kitchen.

The four of us made a spontaneous reservation and were thrilled. Food and service very convincing. All dishes/courses were great in terms of appearance and taste (only the bruschetta had too much garlic, but that's a matter of individual taste/feeling. Wine recommendation was also successful. Price/performance was very reasonable. The ambience inside in the niche was very nice. Keep it up. Thanks to everyone.

Everything perfect. Four of us spontaneously ate there and have not experienced such great hospitality, perfect food in terms of price and performance in a very nice, well-kept atmosphere for a long time. It doesn't get any better. It's nice that something like this still exists. Due to this fact, we even had breakfast there again the next morning and everything repeated itself :-). Absolutely top class.

Außerordentlich gut. Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter und Chefs. Ausgezeichnete Küche.

Wir waren als Touristen dort. Gute Lage, schönes Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr durchschnittlich. Wir haben Schwarze Gnocchi in Parmesansauce, mit Tomaten, Oliven und Pesto gegessen. Die Gnocchi waren nicht lecker und die Sauce hat so viel Knoblauch, so dass wir noch am nächsten Tag noch davon ordentlich hatten. Es ist ein Armutszeugnis, wenn sich ein Restaurant vorgefertigte Pasta von extern anliefen lässt. Und gerade das haben wir mit eigenen Augen gesehen. Das ist einfach unfair gegenüber Kunden und dem Wettbewerb. Nie wieder!

Am 01.10.2023 besuchten wir dieses Restaurant. Draußen waren bedauerlicherweise alle Tische bereits reserviert, daher empfehle ich, vorher eine Reservierung vorzunehmen, wenn man einen Platz im Freien bevorzugt. Der Service schien recht gestresst zu sein, was wohl auch auf das hohe Gästeaufkommen zurückzuführen war. Dennoch genossen wir ein köstliches Frühstück bestehend aus Pancakes, Müsli und Avocadobrot, das wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können. Unsere Getränke, ein Latte Macchiato und ein Cappuccino mit Hafermilch, waren wirklich hervorragend und die besten, die wir in Baden-Baden probiert haben.

Je venais de temps à autre sur cette belle terrasse, toute en longueur, pour prendre un verre. Je pensais que ce n’était qu’un bar. Jusqu’à ce que je découvre la carte de ce “café” qui est aussi un “restaurant” et “bar à vin” (Weinbar). J’aime dorénavant y revenir pour ses bons petits plats ragoûtants à prix raisonnable. Les serveuses ne font pas de chichi et sont très pros. Le patron a, également, toujours un petit mot gentil pour les clients.

Nice Restaurant in the City Centre with very good fresh made food, reasonable prices and a good location. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. I came there for lunch and was very pleased with the choice of the day. Service wasn't as prompt as it could have been (my drink didn't arrive so I cancelled it after eating and before paying). I will surely recommend and come back and hopefully fill up the 5th star then.

Ein super niedliches Café mit leckeren Frühstücksvarianten. Angenehmes Ambiente. Mega leckerer Kaffee.

We hebben hier boven verwachting heel lekker gegeten! Twijfelden eerst of we hier naar binnen wilden gaan maar toen werden we door de eigenaresse zo vriendelijk begroet dat we besloten hier een hapje te gaan eten. Mijn vriendin en ik deelden een voorgerecht samen. Dat was de Einhorn salade met verse frisse eikenbladsla, rucola, stukjes gekarameliseerde maiskip en pijnboompitten. Als hoofdgerechten kozen we de op de huidgebakken zeebaarsfilets en de scaloppine van kalfsvlees met champignonroomsaus. Beide gerechten smaakten heel erg goed en zagen er ook mooi uit. Het dessert hebben we moeten overslaan omdat de porties vrij groot waren zaten we al helemaal vol.

Schöner kleines Café mit leckeren kleinen Speisen und natürlich Cafe und Kuchen. Frühstück ist sehr empfehlenswert. Frisch und lecker 😋 Der Service ist auch sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Eine Reservierung am Wochenende ist empfehlenswert.

Zu einem ganz besonderen Abend hatten wir das Glück im Einhorn einen Tisch für zwei reservieren zu können. Phantastische Speisen, tolles Ambiente und zuvorkommender Service. Vielen Dank!

Ich war zum Mittagessen da. Speziell für Frühstück soll das Einhorn der place-to-be sein….was ich bei Gelegenheit sehr gerne nachholen werde. Mittagessen gibt es mit wechselndem Tagesgericht. Ich ging auf die normale Karte und wurde nicht enttäuscht. Vorspeise mit leckerem Feldsalat. Hauptgang Lachsschnitte mit italienischen Nudeln und sehr guter Sauce. Dessert mit Creme Brulee…aber Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte. Fazit: supernette Inhaber, die sich um ihre Gäste kümmern, perfekter Service (…die supernette Dame mit den Locken…)…also rundum zu Empfehlen. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder… :-)

Our second time we did visit Einhorn. It’s worth to leave the Autobahn and accept the 20’ to get there. Inge & Romano are incredible hosts and will take their time to make you feel friends with them. Enjoy the menu and selection of wines. Expect an above average portion.

Restaurant mal géré. Service médiocre. Très cher. Mauvais rapport qualité prix. Non recommandé. Impossibile!

Ich war das erste Mal dort. Ich habe einen genial leckeren Milchkaffee getrunken und eine Kleinigkeit gegessen. Der Service war hervorragend, sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Man sitzt dort sehr schön. Warum habe ich dieses Kleinod nicht schon früher entdeckt? Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Alle Tische sind "Reserviert". Gäste kommen aber NICHT. Angesprochen auf die "Reservierungspolitik" des Chefs wird dieser patzig. Man hat mir einen "Sonnenplatz" verweigert mit der Begründung, dieser sei reserviert und man hat mir den schlechtesten Platz auf der Terrasse angeboten. Als ich nach 1 h gieng, waren immer noch ca 55% der Tische nicht besetzt. 3 Gäste wurden ebenfalls patzig abgewiesen. VOM CHEF selbst!! FAZIT: NIE WIEDER EINHORN in Baden-Baden. Direkt nebenan sind 4 weitere Lokale und 10 weitere in 50 - 100m.
