A pleasure for the senses “In Edessa” I experienced a culinary delight of the extra class. The pide are delicious, varied and generously topped. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff is friendly and the prices are fair. A must for all Turkish cuisine lovers!

In summary, for those who don't want to read the entire novel: Rude staff, poor customer service. This kebab shop has been my go-to shop in the area lately. The kebab is good, price is ok. But unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience today. I ordered my Dürum as usual, without tomatoes and without onions. The gentleman asked what sauce, to this question I answered: hot and garlic. He wrote the whole thing down. At that moment I had no idea that he had misinterpreted the whole thing and probably thought I wanted hot powder. At some point he prepares a Dürum and I realize that it must be mine, without tomatoes and without Zweiebel, I jump up to ask "Is that mine?", he answers "Yes", but at that moment he already has I put hot powder on the Dürum, but I wanted the hot sauce (as always). By the way: Someone had already ordered Dürum before me, so I had no idea it would be my turn. The shop is very small, I sat right in front, I don't understand why the gentleman didn't just call me briefly, especially when there was something unclear for him. That's what I'm normally used to: you're called up and told again what you want on it or not. Well, the child had fallen into the fountain, but I wanted my Dürum the way I ordered it, with hot sauce instead of powder, so I told the kebab man that I didn't want it that way. I think if I pay €7.50 I have the right to it. He then became angry and upset. Normal communication was not possible. He then somehow tried to use the powder as an alibi, which is of course impossible, and then added the hot sauce (extra much for my feeling) and packaged the whole thing very carelessly and angrily. I made it clear that I wanted a new one. But since I realized that further discussion was pointless since there was no willingness to communicate on the other side, I paid and told the gentleman that the whole thing could be done in a more friendly manner and that I am here often, and he then became even more sulky and looked at me very badly. As expected, the Dürum was almost inedible in the end due to the combination of hot sauce and powder (far too hot). I had stomach pains later. I would have liked to clarify the whole thing on site, but unfortunately there was no willingness from the other side to do so, so unfortunately I have to go this route. It was simply a communication error/misunderstanding that could have been easily resolved with a little more sensitivity. In the end, it really doesn't matter to me whether there was hot powder or sauce on it, I just care about the way the whole thing was handled. If you had simply apologized with a smile, I would have left the store with a different feeling and would probably have simply accepted the Dürum with the wrong filling. Unfortunately, I can't go there anymore for now. I no longer feel welcome. I emphasize that my rating of 1* explicitly refers to customer service. If you get what you want, the store is usually a 3.5/4 out of 5. In addition, it is explicitly only about one employee Everyone can have a bad day. I would be happy to adjust my rating if the owners react accordingly.

I ordered a Lahmacun to pick up and it was more expensive than stated online.

Ate there several times and we would like to come back because it has been clean there for years, the food is definitely cleaned and washed when it is prepared, we never had a stomach ache!!! So thumbs up, the service is very nice and you can enjoy chatting and watching the food being prepared. The oil from the fries is always fresh. We would like to eat vegan and definitely no meat. That's why we like to eat a falafel sandwich or falafel Dürdürm, and we were often invited for tea. Falafel is a good alternative to meat, plus everything is fresh, it's a new trend and you'll get more customers because you're doing a good job. thumbs up

small kebab shop near the station. the owner is very friendly and they have reasonable prices. food was very good and well seasoned. would totally reccommend, especially if a quick meal before a trip with the train is needed :)

Ich muss nicht nach Bonames fahren, denn wir haben auch einen leckeren Döner in Nieder Eschbach. Edessa bietet eine gute Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten an. Der Döner schmeckt lecker, und meine persönliche Lieblingswahl ist die köstliche Sucuk Pizza mit Dönerfleisch - eine wahre Geschmacksexplosion! Die Vielfalt an Speisen passt und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Ob klassische Favoriten oder einzigartige Kreationen, hier findet man etwas nach seinem Geschmack. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich, besonders bei telefonischen Bestellungen. Die Zubereitung geht zügig vonstatten, und beim Abholen wird man stets herzlich empfangen. Alles in allem ist dieser Dönerladen definitiv einen Besuch wert. Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Frisch gebackenes Fladenbrot für den Drürüm, frisch geschnittenes Fleisch. Pommes in der Dönerbox waren auch frisch und lecker. Lecker gewürzt, nett bedient worden, gerne wieder.

Jedzenie świeże, smaczne a obsługa przygotowuje posiłki z pasją Szkoda że jest problem z parkingiem przy samym lokalu.

Da stimmt noch Preis und Leistung.

Super Dönerladen, Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung, Ofenprodukte wie Pizza sind sehr zu empfehlen und sogar besser al vom „Italiener“ nebenan.

Döner und Dürüm sind okay. Selbst wenn ich es dirket vor dem Laden verzerre, ist es schon kalt. Könnte wohl alles etwas länger getoastet werden.

Sieht sauber aus, freundlich und die Theke ist sehr schön mit Lebensmittel dekoriert. Leider sind viele Lebensmittel aus dem Tiefkühler auf die Pizza. In einer Stadt kann man auch alles frisch anbieten.

Immer noch günstige Preise und dafür super Döner!

Freundliche Bedienung aber leider längere Wartezeit wenn man etwas vom Grill bestellt (10-15min). Fleisch ist fast immer sehr lecker, könnte knuspriger sein.

Bester Döner in 5km Umkreis. Dürüm ist besonders zu empfehlen. Nettes Personal. Mittags kann es voll sein, dann lohnt sich Vorbestellen per Telefon. Neuerdings kann man dort auch an kleinen Tischen Kaffee in der Sonne trinken, schöne Idee!

Edessa Döner ist mir immer noch die Nr.1. Da ich in der nähe wohne, habe telefonisch bestellt und in 10 Min. abgeholt. Lecker und preisgünstig, immer wieder gerne.

Dobre jedzenie,można stworzyć własnego Kebaba za niewielką dopłatą...Polecam.

Super leckerer Döner und perfekte Pommes 👍🤗

Guter Döner Imbiss mit leckeren Pide und mehr. Döner ist immer frisch ,Sauce auch gut. Lediglich die Pommes sind manchmal leider nicht frisch. Das ist weniger gut. Allgemein kann ich diesen Döner empfehlen. Es gibt auch an einigen Tagen die Möglichkeit, Essen liefern zu lassen.

Ich finde den Lamacun richtig lecker und extra Wünsche wurden auch beachtet. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass das Dönerbrot selbst gemacht wird und der Lamacun immer frisch ausgerollt und gebacken wird. Hier schmeckt es immer lecker :-)
