Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive, friendly staff. Reservations are essential on weekends!

There's only a 2-hour time slot, and you have to wait a long time for your food. A lot of it is overpriced and doesn't taste like much; some dishes are okay, but in my opinion, none of it is worth the high prices. The service is unfriendly and pure rip-off. It's all about profit—one guest out, the next one in. Some of the dishes are very basic, without garnish or special seasoning; cheap products are being sold at exorbitant prices. It's a shame, and I can only advise against visiting.

We went there in the summer, and it was our worst restaurant experience ever. It's a real shame because the restaurant used to be quite nice, but like with many restaurants, the owners are getting greedier and the service is declining. Not only has it become extremely expensive compared to 2-3 years ago, but the service is truly awful. We arrived around 6 pm, waited 30 minutes for a menu, and after another half hour, we were able to order drinks. The drinks arrived 30 minutes later, and by the time we got our food, it was 8:20 pm. We really should have left, but we were so hungry. The food was okay, which makes it a shame, but we definitely won't be going back. One of the waitresses was incredibly arrogant, and the young man (probably the head waiter or manager) was relatively friendly, but that doesn't make it any better. We always understand when long wait times are communicated, but in this case, they didn't even speak to us.

It would be better for guests and staff to schedule a time slot of 15 to 30 minutes between booking slots. This makes the experience more pleasant for everyone involved and reduces time pressure.

The visit was disappointing. The food was heavy and lingered in the stomach. Authentic Israeli flavors were absent. Instead of a fresh parsley tabbouleh, there was mostly couscous. The lamb seemed old. Additionally, the constant pressure from changing servers to serve food more quickly was distracting. The atmosphere was rushed and unpleasant. For a restaurant of this category, the quality was clearly too low.

The restaurant visit left a bad impression. The food was difficult to digest and had little to do with traditional Israeli cuisine. The tabbouleh consisted mostly of couscous instead of fresh parsley. The lamb was of questionable freshness. Several waiters constantly pressured us to eat quickly, creating a tense atmosphere. A lovely restaurant in Düsseldorf, not far from the Rhine, yet in a quiet area. The food was good (chicken skewers), and the mint lemonade was a hit. The coffee is also highly recommended.

If you're looking for a truly good meal, this is the place for you! The starters leave nothing to be desired, and the main courses are high-quality and extremely delicious. Plus, you'll be well-fed. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy, making quiet conversation difficult—but that's not a problem if you're concentrating on the good food. The prices are definitely on the high side, but clearly reasonable for the quality. We'll be happy to come back!

Great place, Great food, our two servers were great, a bit loud. The one point deducted is because the chef refused to advise us on the food. His colleague did it. The Jewish Levantine cuisine is top-notch, the homemade hummus is a dream.

We were here on a Saturday evening, and the evening actually started well. The staff was very friendly at first. The starters were delicious, and my main course was also perfect. The other two main courses tasted okay, but one of them wasn't good value for money, and the other's vegetable couscous was just a large portion of couscous with two large pieces of potatoes, a carrot, and a piece of zucchini on top. What we didn't know or had forgotten was that they schedule two-hour time slots for dinner. However, we had to wait almost 45 minutes between the starter and the main course, so this concept doesn't work. We had just asked for the menu again to order dessert when another waitress suddenly appeared to take the cash and was quite rude. We pointed out that we wanted to order something else and were completely ignored. We could only pay, and our evening ended very abruptly. Apparently, the restaurant Die Kurve can afford to treat its guests like this. We visited the restaurant years ago and were absolutely thrilled, but I wouldn't go back now.

Great food: But what has happened to the service over the years? Inflexible, unfriendly, and very slow. For example, we wanted to reduce the size of our main courses during the appetizers because we weren't hungry enough. Apparently, this wasn't possible because the food was already being prepared. Ultimately, the main courses, which weren't allowed to be reduced, took another hour after the appetizers were over. And the kebab skewers that came with the main course weren't even fully cooked. So much for honesty. We weren't even allowed to take a look at the restroom today: I've rarely seen something so dirty... And in the end, the staff couldn't split the bill. Not a single apology for their inappropriate behavior. All very arrogant and difficult...

We've been here several times. The food is good, but it must be said clearly: the service is inadequate. It takes far too long to be served. The concept of only admitting guests at certain times is also questionable and causes irritation. This urgently needs to be addressed – both in terms of service and the flexibility of the concept. We wanted to make a change to our order, but this was rejected, with the explanation that the food was already on the grill. What's incomprehensible, however, is that we then had to wait a full hour for our food. This practice is neither understandable nor acceptable and should be urgently improved.

⸻ We ate outside today and were informed upon arrival that the table was only available until 8 p.m. – which is fine in principle. Unfortunately, the entire service was extremely unfriendly. The waitress asked us three times during the meal if we were finally ready. At the end, we were practically escorted out with the words, "Please get up and vacate the table." The manager also showed no interest in addressing our concerns or feedback. Overall, the worst restaurant experience we've had so far. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant.

Yesterday was our first visit to the Kurve. The service was friendly. The mezze was quite delicious, as was the broccoli! You should definitely make a reservation in advance! What could be better: Unfortunately, it took a while between the starter and the main course; we must have waited over an hour. The service could be a bit more attentive with the drinks. Prices are definitely on the high side. I found the drinks a bit overpriced, especially (a 0.15 glass of wine was €10-13; a 0.33 glass of beer was €6.50). I would definitely come back again.

The very friendly service was a real plus. The food was good, but nothing special. The prices are incredibly expensive: €7.50 for tap water and €5 for a coffee.

I've been there three times already, and it was delicious every time. I particularly liked the shawarma with tahini sauce. And the fish ceviche as an appetizer. ❤️ I'd be happy to come back. The price is on the higher end. You definitely need to reserve a table in advance.

I came here on a recommendation and was not disappointed in any way. My shakshuka was delicious, as was the freshly baked pita bread. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. I'd love to come back. :)

Die Kurve in Düsseldorf is a welcoming and well-kept restaurant, with a warm atmosphere and modern furnishings. The food is the real star: well-prepared dishes, generous portions, and quality ingredients. Friendly service and good value.

Unfortunately disappointed by the service – despite very good food We visited this restaurant for my husband's big birthday and, based on the good reviews, were looking forward to a pleasant evening. The food tasted exactly as we expected. It took us a little longer to place our order – but not unusually long. The appetizer was delicious and arrived promptly. After the appetizer was cleared, we had to wait a good 30 minutes for the main course. That alone would have been manageable – but we were severely limited by the reservation policy: All tables were to be reassigned at 8 p.m., which meant we only had about 30 minutes to eat several grilled platters, pay, and clear the table. Our table was right by the entrance, and by 7:45 p.m., we could already hear the staff talking loudly about how "the table should be ready soon" and that we "should go right away." This was not only unpleasant, but also unfair, since the delay in the main course wasn't our fault. What was particularly irritating was that another table wasn't ready either – but they didn't even mention it, while we were treated with this rude tone. It's a shame – the food was really good, but the way things went and the way we were treated as guests unfortunately spoiled the evening considerably. A relaxed restaurant visit feels different.

Top-notch service. I liked the Baladi eggplant with minced meat. And the falafel! Nice crunch. I'd skip the hummus, as well as the pitas and the cauliflower. It's all a bit heavy. I'd try falafel, some meze, or meat next time.

Those who appreciate something special won't be disappointed here. The food tastes excellent. The service is very good, and the staff very friendly. The food prices aren't exactly family-friendly, but they're still okay. The drink prices are a bit excessive in my opinion. Ideally, you know this beforehand and won't be disappointed. Reservations are a must. Seating is outside, facing the street. It was a worthwhile visit. We'll be back. :)

Unfortunately, we found the food at the corner very disappointing for the prices! The mezze we ordered wasn't authentic. The muhammara, for example, was watery and didn't taste as it should, and was also far too sweet. The main courses were okay, but I think the prices are completely unreasonable for what you get!

Unfortunately, I don't understand the consistently positive reviews. I'd only heard good things and was looking forward to the meal. First, the card machine didn't work, and we had to go back to the bank. I ordered a non-alcoholic shandy, which was listed on the menu. They didn't have it. Then I decided on an apple spritzer. It was simply apple juice topped with tap water. The shashuka was good. The mezze was very bland. The beetroot salad was a disgrace: just beets from a jar. The restaurant is far too expensive. I won't be back.

A lovely restaurant with delicious food. If you're feeling daring, you should ask for the menu's explanation. The staff is friendly and happy to make recommendations. They explain everything, explaining the combinations and the ingredients. Reservations are essential; the restaurant is busy and fills up quickly. You can dine inside or outside. Parking is scarce, as the restaurant is located in a residential area.

The diverse restaurants in a city add color to city life. I love Israeli cuisine, and this place is like coming home. A lovely atmosphere inside and out, super friendly service, and the food is simply delicious. One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Düsseldorf. I have to go at least once a week.

We've been to this restaurant 3-4 times now. The dishes have been excellent every time! The homemade mint lemonade is definitely recommended. 🥰 The service has been simply fantastic every time! Very warm and everyone is super friendly! You don't get that everywhere. A definite recommendation, and whenever we're in Düsseldorf, it's worth a visit.

I have recommended this restaurant to friends several times, so a few weeks ago they came again with a large group based on my recommendation. They ordered a lot of food and drinks. The service seemed much more uninspired than usual. I asked for tap water. I was rudely told that a restaurant in Germany is not allowed to hand out something like that (I haven't heard such nonsense in a long time). Then (as I said, we had already ordered a lot of drinks beforehand) I got tap water from the restroom. I was verbally attacked for this. We will never be back, you have lost a great supporter. What disrespect. To have to let a server humiliate me. I recommend everyone avoid this place! This restaurant has the potential to ruin your evening.

The food is always fantastic! Whether it's the appetizers or the main courses, I've found everything to be really good. I only give the ambiance three stars because, while the location is nice, it's always quite loud.

If you come to Düsseldorf, you should definitely eat here. Fresh food, very tasty prepared and reminiscent of Israel. We really enjoy coming here. It's always friendly, super fast and you feel like you're at home! I can recommend everything on the menu, it was always very good. The service is quick, the drinks come very quickly and the boss is always available for a chat. We are already looking forward to the next visit ❤️

As some have already said “tasty food followed by terrible digestion”. I suffered from Pains in my stomach after the meal. The personnel was also pretty rude there. I live close by and was avoiding this place - now I understand that it was my intuition. What a disappointment!

Selection of starters very varied and delicious.

The curve had been on my plan for a long time because I had only ever heard good things. Today the time had come, I had reserved a table, actually for 2, asked via email whether it would be okay if someone else came with me or whether I would have to make a new reservation, the answer came quickly, “just come”. So far so good. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately hit by the bad smell of a grease separator system. That was really bad. We sat down at the table assigned to us and were immediately informed before we sat down that we could only pay in cash. Ah….good info, it could have been pointed out on the reservation confirmation. The “menu and drink menus” that were handed to us were paper clipped onto a wooden board, which was characterized by dog-ears, creases and stains. Not very inviting, as is the rest of the restaurant. We briefly considered going back, but unfortunately we didn't. To put it briefly, the food was okay, the wine 0.15l for €9.50 was outrageous, the water for €7.50 from the tap, bottled in a bottle with a totally "creaky" lid and the neck of the bottle calcified at the spout, also outrageous. The service was neither friendly nor unfriendly, just impersonal. When it came time to pay, around €90 including tip, paid with a €200 note, we asked if we couldn't have it more suitable. That was the unnecessary icing on the cake of what was guaranteed to be our first and last visit to “Der Kurve”. All in all, a total failure!!

Very tasty food, something you don't get every day! The two of us had 7 Meezes and were more than full. The employees were nice and courteous and gave advice when ordering. As a drink, the Homemade Mint Lemonade is an absolute recommendation. Everything has its price, the visit isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth it!

The food in the restaurant was fantastic - tasted excellent and beautifully presented. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening very pleasant. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fine. A small drawback, however, is the reservation policy: you can reserve either from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or from 8 p.m. until the kitchen closes (10 p.m.). This means that you actually have to get up and clear the table at 8 p.m. sharp. If you make a reservation at 6 p.m., you shouldn't take too much time with your order, otherwise it will be tight. All in all, a great restaurant with excellent food and good service - if you stick to the timings.

We reserved a table for 18 Ugr. There were already many guests waiting outside the door. We were assigned a table and initially only ordered appetizers because we were unsure how much that would be. The waitress said we could still order more. The food came very quickly, it was very tasty and also sufficient. The four of us ate, chatted and ordered a second wine. But then the waitress came with the bill and the note that the table would be given away again from 8 p.m. So we had to empty the second wine quickly. Luckily we didn't order any more food. Overall conclusion: Food was very tasty, service was ok, ambience doesn't invite you to visit again (very loud, very hectic and uncomfortable due to the time pressure).

As always, it was a successful evening. Due to the shift system, the restaurant fills up suddenly and yet every table is served promptly and friendly, no one is left out ☺️ The mezze are all recommended. The chicken soup tasted intensely like chicken and the rack of lamb was great. Unfortunately the fries were a bit wobbly. And it's also a shame that Israeli beer supplies don't last until Sunday. The alternative red was light and suitable. Gladly again!

Something different, an Israeli restaurant, with typical dishes, not always familiar to everyone, but all worth trying if you are open to foreign tastes. We had vegetarian starters and a grilled skewer as a main course, all very tasty. In addition, very friendly service. If there's something to complain about, it's the not "very low" prices. All in a cozy atmosphere.
