The restaurant is very bad, the service is bad, there is always a bad mood, and the owner of the restaurant is unfortunately very bad. It doesn't even deserve half a star.

We've been to this restaurant 3-4 times now. The dishes have been excellent every time! The homemade mint lemonade is definitely recommended. 🥰 The service has been simply fantastic every time! Very warm and everyone is super friendly! You don't get that everywhere. A definite recommendation, and whenever we're in Düsseldorf, it's worth a visit.

Beautiful surroundings, but the food was unfortunately tasteless and not worth the price. A shame.

I have recommended this restaurant to friends several times, so a few weeks ago they came again with a large group based on my recommendation. They ordered a lot of food and drinks. The service seemed much more uninspired than usual. I asked for tap water. I was rudely told that a restaurant in Germany is not allowed to hand out something like that (I haven't heard such nonsense in a long time). Then (as I said, we had already ordered a lot of drinks beforehand) I got tap water from the restroom. I was verbally attacked for this. We will never be back, you have lost a great supporter. What disrespect. To have to let a server humiliate me. I recommend everyone avoid this place! This restaurant has the potential to ruin your evening.

The food is always fantastic! Whether it's the appetizers or the main courses, I've found everything to be really good. I only give the ambiance three stars because, while the location is nice, it's always quite loud.

We were here for the first time today and left very disappointed and hungry after paying 80€ for some vegetables and about 150g of beef.

If you come to Düsseldorf, you should definitely eat here. Fresh food, very tasty prepared and reminiscent of Israel. We really enjoy coming here. It's always friendly, super fast and you feel like you're at home! I can recommend everything on the menu, it was always very good. The service is quick, the drinks come very quickly and the boss is always available for a chat. We are already looking forward to the next visit ❤️

As some have already said “tasty food followed by terrible digestion”. I suffered from Pains in my stomach after the meal. The personnel was also pretty rude there. I live close by and was avoiding this place - now I understand that it was my intuition. What a disappointment!

The staff and the ambiance evoke a sense of longing. Reservations are required. Dining there with a group is highly recommended. Share the dishes among yourselves. That's a culture of living.

Selection of starters very varied and delicious.

The curve had been on my plan for a long time because I had only ever heard good things. Today the time had come, I had reserved a table, actually for 2, asked via email whether it would be okay if someone else came with me or whether I would have to make a new reservation, the answer came quickly, “just come”. So far so good. When we entered the restaurant we were immediately hit by the bad smell of a grease separator system. That was really bad. We sat down at the table assigned to us and were immediately informed before we sat down that we could only pay in cash. Ah….good info, it could have been pointed out on the reservation confirmation. The “menu and drink menus” that were handed to us were paper clipped onto a wooden board, which was characterized by dog-ears, creases and stains. Not very inviting, as is the rest of the restaurant. We briefly considered going back, but unfortunately we didn't. To put it briefly, the food was okay, the wine 0.15l for €9.50 was outrageous, the water for €7.50 from the tap, bottled in a bottle with a totally "creaky" lid and the neck of the bottle calcified at the spout, also outrageous. The service was neither friendly nor unfriendly, just impersonal. When it came time to pay, around €90 including tip, paid with a €200 note, we asked if we couldn't have it more suitable. That was the unnecessary icing on the cake of what was guaranteed to be our first and last visit to “Der Kurve”. All in all, a total failure!!

Very tasty food, something you don't get every day! The two of us had 7 Meezes and were more than full. The employees were nice and courteous and gave advice when ordering. As a drink, the Homemade Mint Lemonade is an absolute recommendation. Everything has its price, the visit isn't cheap, but it's definitely worth it!

Absolutely recommendable restaurant with Israeli cuisine. We enjoyed it very much and were impressed by the very friendly and attentive service. You should definitely make a reservation on the weekend. We only deducted one star for the ambience because the background noise is loud when the house is full. Nevertheless, we felt very comfortable there.

The food in the restaurant was fantastic - tasted excellent and beautifully presented. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the evening very pleasant. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely fine. A small drawback, however, is the reservation policy: you can reserve either from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. or from 8 p.m. until the kitchen closes (10 p.m.). This means that you actually have to get up and clear the table at 8 p.m. sharp. If you make a reservation at 6 p.m., you shouldn't take too much time with your order, otherwise it will be tight. All in all, a great restaurant with excellent food and good service - if you stick to the timings.

We reserved a table for 18 Ugr. There were already many guests waiting outside the door. We were assigned a table and initially only ordered appetizers because we were unsure how much that would be. The waitress said we could still order more. The food came very quickly, it was very tasty and also sufficient. The four of us ate, chatted and ordered a second wine. But then the waitress came with the bill and the note that the table would be given away again from 8 p.m. So we had to empty the second wine quickly. Luckily we didn't order any more food. Overall conclusion: Food was very tasty, service was ok, ambience doesn't invite you to visit again (very loud, very hectic and uncomfortable due to the time pressure).

As always, it was a successful evening. Due to the shift system, the restaurant fills up suddenly and yet every table is served promptly and friendly, no one is left out ☺️ The mezze are all recommended. The chicken soup tasted intensely like chicken and the rack of lamb was great. Unfortunately the fries were a bit wobbly. And it's also a shame that Israeli beer supplies don't last until Sunday. The alternative red was light and suitable. Gladly again!

Something different, an Israeli restaurant, with typical dishes, not always familiar to everyone, but all worth trying if you are open to foreign tastes. We had vegetarian starters and a grilled skewer as a main course, all very tasty. In addition, very friendly service. If there's something to complain about, it's the not "very low" prices. All in a cozy atmosphere.

Horrible. We made a reservation for today (February 8th, 2025). When we arrived, the person who welcomed us (I assume it was the owner) was so exceptionally rude. After a minute we simply went outside, humiliated, and with no intension of ever returning to that place. I have no idea how the food is in this place but I wouldn't want to pay money to a person who can be so rude to his customers.

Absolutely delicious! I've eaten at the Curve several times now and can highly recommend it. However, a reservation is particularly useful on weekends and you should allow some time to look for a parking space. Ideally, you should also be very hungry so that you can try the large selection of mezze AND also manage a main course 😉

Unfortunately, the quality of most dishes was disappointing, with one welcome exception: Mabucha: Taste: The dish tasted exclusively of tomato paste. Important aromas such as herbs, peppers or onions were not noticeable. Consistency: Very thick and strongly resembled ketchup, which made the eating experience unpleasant. Lentil salad: Taste: The taste was completely dominated by the vinegar, which meant that other flavors or ingredients didn't come into their own. Ceviche: Taste: The ceviche was disappointing in taste and almost completely bland. Fish: The salmon was cut way too large, which upset the balance of the dish. Carrot salad: Taste: Excellent seasoning, the freshness and spices harmonized perfectly. Falafels: Taste: Excellent - the falafels were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and the taste was good. Conclusion: While most of the dishes were unbalanced and fell short of expectations both in terms of taste and preparation, the carrot salad and falafels were a pleasant exception. They have shown that the kitchen is capable of creating sophisticated and tasty dishes.

Food is good. Unfortunately, service is not particularly good. The boss is nice but there are sometimes long waiting times. The staff is disorganized. Everyone feels like they do everything and no one knows exactly where they are responsible. We were there during the week. Half the restaurant was empty. Still had to wait almost 10 minutes.

Were there for the second time now when we were in Düsseldorf. The curve is becoming my favorite restaurant in the state capital! Totally nice atmosphere, super friendly service and not to forget: very tasty food! Meatless requests are graciously accommodated and I think these are the best falafel I've had so far outside of Jerusalem. Top recommendation!

A restaurant visit that I have never experienced in this way. We arrived promptly at 6:00 p.m. and were escorted to our table. After selecting various mezzes, we were asked whether we would like to order a main course at the same time. Our idea of ​​eating the numerous starters first and then deciding whether we could even manage a main course afterwards was positively encouraged by the employee. Before we even finished the mezze, we ordered two main courses and more mezze. We waited over an hour for this order. After the table next to us, who also ordered (four) main courses in the second step, left the restaurant after the main course, dessert and payment process, we contacted the service. The promised two minute wait then turned into another 20, so we received our food at 7:36 p.m. From 8 p.m. onwards, all tables will be reassigned, the tables from the 6 p.m. reservations will be cleared, so that all 8 p.m. reservations will then be allowed into the restaurant. During the meal we were told at 8 p.m. that they would bring us the bill. In response to the objection that we didn't have enough time to eat due to the long waiting time, the waitress simply replied that we hadn't ordered the main courses right at the beginning, so they were the last orders in the kitchen. So we have ourselves to blame. After paying, we were told that the other guests were already waiting and we had to clear the table now. We hadn't even finished eating at this point. Unbelievable. We were impressed by the quality of the food, but we didn't find it to be as exceptionally good as mentioned in many reviews.

It was my first visit to “Die Kurve”. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The service staff were very attentive, were able to give realistic quantities and make recommendations. The only drawback: the toilets looked at least not clean and a bit run down. I'll definitely be back!

The food was, as always, super delicious

The service was incredibly unfriendly - the staff seemed to think they were “doing too good” to take care of the guests. You can only pay in cash here, which strongly suggests that black bookkeeping is being carried out. All of our orders were handwritten and we were only told the amount to pay. No official receipt was given to us after payment. It seems as if the owners are literally waiting for an audit from the tax office.

Authentic Israeli food like I know from Tel Aviv. We had mezze, shakshuka and the cauliflower. Everything was extremely tasty and freshly prepared. Which isn't that easy, as there aren't as good vegetables and fruit in Germany as in Israel. Also very nice staff and a cozy, family atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

5 stars are not enough. My wife and I are in love with this restaurant, to the point that we decided to hold our wedding dinner there, and it was an absolute success: food is amazing, the Die Kurve crew is incredibly friendly and available to satisfy any request, atmosphere is unique. One suggestion: get a table much ahead as the restaurant is always fully booked (and for a reason).
