Eat Happy in Vechelde

Delicious doner kebab, fresh ingredients, and really friendly service! You immediately feel welcome, and the food tastes absolutely fantastic. I'll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Almost exactly three years later, our steps led us back to Vechelde and the Fontana restaurant. To put it simply, we will be back very soon, and for good reason. The new chairs on the terrace are unparalleled in the restaurant world and offer unparalleled comfort. The owners clearly invested a considerable amount in this fantastic seating experience for the benefit of their guests. The staff was, as always, friendly and helpful, putting themselves in the guest's shoes when taking orders and asking insightful questions to ensure everything was exactly as requested, as there might be other possibilities... We were particularly impressed by how the friendly waitress anticipated our needs when taking our order. My meal today, Satarasch, was, as usual, excellent. Thank you very much for the pleasant experience at your restaurant; we will be back soon and with great pleasure. I happened to be here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. A delicious soup to start, included in the price, along with a small salad, also included, and then the main course, which tasted fantastic and was so reasonably priced that I had to ask if I'd read it correctly. I'll definitely be coming here for lunch more often in the future.

On my way back from an event on October 31st, I was looking for a place to eat something decent at reasonable prices. I found this Italian restaurant. As soon as I sat down at the table (it was quite empty), I was given the menu. I ordered a Pizza Italia with cheese, salami, pepperoni, olives, and anchovies, along with a non-alcoholic wheat beer. Very quickly, a small bowl of aioli and some warm white bread arrived with the perfectly chilled beer. The garlic dip was very aromatic and creamy, and the white bread was fresh. I hadn't even finished eating when the large pizza arrived. The crust was crispy, but the middle was unfortunately quite soft. The toppings were plentiful. What bothered me considerably, however, was the overpowering vinegar taste of the pepperoni. With the bill, I was also offered a complimentary Marsala with cream. Regarding the service: probably due to the fact that the restaurant was empty, everything arrived at the table incredibly quickly, and the service was attentive and generally good. However, if every waiter who comes by during your meal asks if everything is alright, it starts to get annoying by the third time at the latest. The ambiance itself is quite appealing and even seems elegant.
