Eat Happy in Schönebeck (Elbe)

We had the best time at der Stadtpfeifer. The food was delicious and classic German, and every interaction with our server was simply delightful. What a great experience for our group (2 Schönebeck locals and 2 out-of-town tourists). Thank you to our amazing server (and thank you for your service!)

Beautiful restaurant with very good food. If you like schnitzel, this is the place for you! The owners are very friendly, you immediately feel at home. A bit like being in your own living room 😉 Unfortunately it is only open from Tuesday to Friday. Maybe there will be an opportunity for more frequent opening times at some point. Many guests would really like that!

Unfortunately, I was only a guest in the guesthouse for one night. Really great room, modern furnishings, new bathroom, fantastic bed. The hosts and staff are super nice, uncomplicated, service-oriented and friendly. Great breakfast and nice, special atmosphere in the guest room. Great value for money. Many thanks to the saltworks crew for the great service. :-)

Highly recommended older village restaurant with a rustic style and freshly prepared regional dishes. Despite the closed company in the hall, we were served and entertained very courteously. The prices of the dishes are very low compared to the size of the portions. The dishes were freshly prepared and served hot. However, the innkeeper asked us to call before visiting, just to be on the safe side, in case it was crowded. We'd love to come back.

It has been closed forever since 12/2024. I was there today and read the note on the window from the owner. Too bad
