Incredibly delicious food for every taste, a great selection of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and a lovely atmosphere. We celebrated a birthday here with a small group. It was a fantastic evening all around; we felt at home, especially because the service was excellent. Parking is available either directly in front of the restaurant or in the parking spaces on the street.

Quaint ambience, delicious food.

This was our second time dining with friends at the Stadtpfeifer, and it was once again a rustic, cozy place with great German home cooking, including excellently prepared meat dishes. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection, the goulash in bread melted in your mouth, and the fries were super crispy. Simply a fantastic menu with delicious offerings. Everything is reasonably priced, and the portions are more than plentiful. The service is friendly and fast, and even when all the tables are occupied, there's no rush. If you're looking for a cozy restaurant and want to surprise your friends, I highly recommend the Stadtpfeifer. We'll definitely be back.

We were drawn to the restaurant by positive reviews and checked out the website. It's very nice and clearly laid out, with a menu and a request to reserve. Booking via email was very straightforward, and I received a quick response. A wonderful, rustic atmosphere. Very friendly staff, and the food is fantastic. Highly recommended, and if we're ever in Schönebeck again, it will definitely be our first stop.

Our parents have been here several times, and this was our first time, and we were absolutely thrilled. The food, drinks, ambiance, service... everything was fantastic. You can even get half a solyanka as a starter if you ask 😉 The place was packed, but everything was still perfect. It's okay to wait a little longer for your food when it's so delicious and fresh. Next time we're in Schönebeck, we'll definitely be back at the cozy Stadtpfeifer. All the best to the entire team.

Very tasty and good food. One star deducted for charging €1.50 for fries instead of fried potatoes. This should have been on the menu, but I didn't read it.

The food was incredibly delicious, and we received our food very quickly. We were very satisfied, but unfortunately, when we paid, we discovered that a side dish swap (fries instead of potato wedges) was charged an additional €1.50. We find this outrageous, as it represents no additional expense or added value.

Despite its relatively young age, the service is still typically GDR: even though half the restaurant is empty, we're assigned the smallest table in the corner because there are only two of us. It's located directly on the main road, with no outside area. The menu is also a la GDR. Not worth the trip.

Yes, we wanted to go out to dinner at short notice this evening. So my wife called the Stadtpfeifer to see if there was still a possibility of getting a table. We should come at seven! Arrived there at 10 to seven. It was already very well filled. We were assigned a table. We sat down. Then our waiter came to take the drinks order. The drinks came very quickly, that was the only thing that came quickly that evening. After 30 minutes we were able to order our food when my wife asked. Our starters arrived around eight. Not the food for our daughter! At 8:30 p.m. we asked to pack up the food, which we hope would be ready soon. No request from the waiter, no apology, nothing. At 10 to nine I went to the counter and informed our waiter that we had decided to leave. The only reaction was “yeah ok”. Without looking at me. We then went to McDonald's. At 10 past nine our daughter had something to eat. Finally, all you can say is: Thanks for the lovely evening to the entire Stadtpfeifer team.

...The sparrows are whistling from the rooftops :-) We can fully recommend this restaurant. The service is very friendly and quick, the furnishings are comfortable, and our dog was also allowed in. A wealth of delicacies awaited us on the menu. We couldn't help but order 3 courses. Our meat variations were tender and juicy, and the side dishes were impeccable. The selection is by far one of the best I have discovered recently. Particularly noteworthy is the onion puree, which is served with baguettes, for example - heavenly. There is definitely something for everyone here. Keep it up, dear Stadtpfeifer team!

Good food, friendly staff, nice ambience

The restaurant is an insider tip for anyone who is hungry and wants to eat something really tasty! The garlic bread with the homemade onion puree is an absolutely recommended start to a menu. The schnitzels are crispy and the gratinated cheese is slightly browned. The seasoned meat was very tasty. The fries are crispy and not greasy. The menu is manageable, but every dish sounds so delicious and what we tried was so delicious!! Including the desserts plum cinnamon crumble and apple fritters. We'll be back!

Went here spontaneously for dinner. Despite the large number of people outside the door, there were still two seats available inside. The ambience is rustic and you think you're sitting in an English pup. Quaint but appealing. The staff is very friendly and considerate. Every guest is warmly welcomed with DU. The food was super fresh and delicious! I'm happy to wait a while for my food. At home it takes time too! My special requests were kindly received and implemented! So...we were completely satisfied and definitely not the last time here!

Wonderfully quaint here. Lots of locals were there, older ones. That's a good sign! The food came quite quickly despite a lot of visitors, the service is very nice, the menu is reasonable and hardly contains the usual things, rather a lot with its own flair. I had the grill plate and it was so good, the Greek must be hiding there! I was wonderfully full here and also really enjoyed the homemade lemonade. I will definitely have to come here again next time!

Waren zum Abendessen dort. Es war sehr kalt im Gastraum. Das Essen ging so. Die Kartoffelspalten waren extrem knusprig, die Hühnerbrust war ok.

Feinste Deutsche Küche, für die man gern von Magdeburg nach Schönebeck anreist. Parkplätze gibt es entweder vor der Tür in den Parktaschen, diese sind aber nur begrenzt. In den angrenzenden Seitenstraßen,findet man aber einen Parkplatz.

Wenn ich in einer Stadt wie Schönebeck wohne und hier aufgewachsen bin und es gewohnt bin mal ganz einfach nur mal ein gepflegtes Bier zu trinken und unter normale Menschen zu kommen und etwas leckeres zu essen, dabei eine gemütliche Umgebung und unkompliziertes, aber sehr freundliches und aufmerksames Personal im Service habe, dann ist der Stadtpfeifer genau das was ich möchte und was es zu DDR Zeiten in der ganzen Stadt gegeben hat. Es gibt ja noch nicht mehr mal den Ratskeller oder den Sport beziehungsweise Tessmannheim, was einfach, gemütlich und lecker war um einfach nur unter Menschen zu kommen und um sich zu unterhalten und etwas zu feiern oder nur mal vom Alltag abzuschalten. Ich brauche keine Nobelrestaurants wo Alle mit Schlips und Kragen rumlaufen und die Bedienung alle 2 Minuten am Tisch steht und fragt ob alles in Ordnung ist und ob man noch was wünscht, da kommt man dann garnicht dazu sich mit seinen eigenen Leuten zu unterhalten, wenn ich was möchte oder brauche dann kann ich mich ja selber melden und das funktioniert im Stadtpfeifer. Leider ist es nunmehr das anscheinend einzige Gastronomische Lokal wo ich sagen kann, hier bin ich richtig und hier fühle ich mich wohl. Sicher ist es für die Gastronomen auch nicht mehr so einfach, aber für die Gäste auch nicht, jeder merkt das alles sehr teuer geworden ist, ob Lebensmittel, Energie, Mieten und vieles mehr. Und es ist traurig das noch nicht mal mehr der Ratskeller wieder offen geblieben ist, trotz professioneller Hilfe bei einem Neustart. Ein anderes Lokal oder Restaurant mit einer Küche wie im Stadtpfeifer, sucht man in Schönebeck sicherlich vergeblich, so ging es mir zumindest als ich mit meinem Bruder der ein paar Tage vom Hochrhein bei mir war und wir mal spontan uns am späten Nachmittag die Stadt und die Veränderungen nach der Wende angesehen haben und uns einfach nur entspannt irgendwo hinzusetzen und ein gepflegtes Bier trinken wollten. Da sind wir von der Hellgestraße bis Salzelmen, die Friedrichstraße bis zur Salzblume und dann wollten wir wieder nach mir nach Hause und sind auf der Geschwister Scholl Straße und sind auch ohne Anmeldung beim Stadtpfeifer gewesen und da haben wir uns dann gleich für den Samstag eine Reservierung zum Essen gemacht. Da das was da an Essen bei uns vorbei kam hat schon sehr gut gerochen und sah schon lecker aus, darum mußten wir unbedingt da noch mal hin bevor mein Bruder wieder nach Hause fuhr.👍😋🤗🍻

Die einzige urige Gastronomie, die das Prädikat " ich komme gerne wieder" verdient! Hier stimmt alles, super leckeres Essen, tolles Ambiente und der Service- einmalig!

Wer einmal in Schönebeck ist, sollte unbedingt im Stadtpfeifer einkehren. Dort gibt es sehr leckeres Essen, z.B. selbstgebackenes Brot ob mit Biergulasch oder mit Schmalz und Gürkchen, es ist beides ein Genuss. Auch alle anderen Gerichte sind sehr probierenswert. Man sollte aber immer einen Tisch bestellen, denn wo es leckeres Essen gibt, sind auch immer viele Esser. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr nett und erfüllt auch gerne Wünsche.

Das Ambiente ist sehr gut wenn man es ein bißchen rustikaler mag. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Was mir persönlich als Mutter aufgefallen ist es gab keine Menüpunkt für Kinder was ich sehr schade finde. Auf nach frage ob wir zu den Pommes Alternativ Nuggets statt Schnitzel haben könnten wurde freundlich reagiert und war kein Problem das fand ich sehr gut . Bedingungen war sehr nett und auch sehr bemüht .

Ein schöner Laden in dem die diversen Gerichte lecker geschmeckt haben. Die Küche gibt sich Mühe und die Bedienung auch Etwas hochpreisig aber gut. Gerne wieder!
