E-Werk Biergarten & Kellerbühne in Erlangen

A great venue offering a wide variety of exciting events. Drinks are very affordable, which is great for students. I was disappointed with the food, though. The pizza ran out an hour after the event started, so we chose alternative main courses. The menu advertised a falafel plate with couscous salad and a mixed side salad as the main course. This consisted of three small falafel balls, a spoonful of ready-made couscous (which, unfortunately, isn't couscous salad), a spoonful of beets, and a spoonful of carrots, all from a jar. 😕 I found that a real shame... it didn't fill you up, nor did it meet the expectations you'd get from the menu. There's room for improvement here. Otherwise, the event was great, the atmosphere was great, and the staff were friendly.

The kitchen has deteriorated considerably. 10 minutes after entering, the pizza is out. The wait for fries and ciabatta is over 50 minutes. This is really no fun.

I was really annoyed today with four songs for one hallelujah. At around 6:10 p.m., we ordered two dishes (pizza and fries) using a pager. Knowing it always takes a long time, we waited patiently. But after more than two hours (!!!), our patience finally ran out. When we asked, we were told that pizza was out for the day and that they couldn't let us know. I got my money back, but otherwise, nothing was forthcoming. Afterwards, I ordered fries and a sandwich again using a pager. When I went to get my food at the counter, only the fries were ready; the sandwich didn't arrive until five minutes later when I asked for it (so it must have been forgotten). What annoys me so much is that the pager was activated with the second order, even though only one of the two dishes was ready. Why wasn't it done the first time? Then we wouldn't have waited for nothing. Incidentally, we didn't get the fries from the first order either. The event itself was top-notch, as always! The prices for food and drinks were also perfectly reasonable.

This place calls itself a restaurant but doesn't get a handle on their cuisine. There were 3 of us on a Sunday evening and we wanted to order something to eat as well as drinks. For reasons that were not explained, the kitchen was unable to provide us with a meal ala card. After 80 minutes and four unsuccessful attempts to order something, I gave up in exasperation. Update: After a total of 90 minutes it was signaled that ordering food would be possible. My wife complied with this, which led to another wait of just over 70 minutes for a portion of ham noodles. 🤬 Hey guys, honestly.... 🤬 The sad thing was that the live jazz music and the food weren't even bad. All in all, you won't see us again! 👋🏼

Was there at Wortwerk Lädt (reading), food value for money was great and very tasty, the service/staff was helpful, friendly, The atmosphere for the basement stage was very cozy and appropriate, highly recommended!

On Sunday there is music in the basement stage and then you can eat well

Schöner Biergarten mit interessanten Veranstaltungen und guter Bierauswahl. Die Geschwindigkeit am Tresen könnte manchmal etwas schneller sein, aber ist im Rahmen. Größter Kritikpunkt gilt dem Essen. Die Qualität hat in den letzten Jahren nachgelassen, die Preise aber angezogen. Die meisten Gerichte sind essbar, aber leider weit weg von empfehlenswert.

Musik nicht ganz mein Geschmack, war aber gratis.

Super Essen, kann mit anderen Erlanger Burgerrestaurants locker mithalten. Schön gestalteter Biergarten und tolles Programm.

Die Silvester Sause war ein voller Erfolg. Top Musik Acts auf allen Bühnen und eine lustige und unterhaltsame Show auf der Kellerbühne. Zum Glück haben wir unsere Jacken am Platz behalten, da die Garderobe uns sonst nicht rechtzeitig kurz vor Mitternacht unsere Jacken hätte geben können, die Schlange ging bis ins Treppenhaus... Der Sekt war maßlos zu teuer. Pizza und Burger gab es erst ab 22:30 Uhr, obwohl um 22Uhr schkn Einlass war. Das professionelle Feuerwerk war der Hammer und ist am besten vom Parkhaus aus zu beobachten.

Der E-Werk Biergarten an sich, ist nett und bietet im Sommer auch tolle Veranstaltungen. Wenn man aber das Essen bewertet, würde ich fast nur die verschiedenen Variationen von Pommes empfehlen (große Portionen und wirklich leckere Pommes). Abraten würde ich dringendes vom Salat. Der ist fast schon eine Frechheit. Man bekommt lediglich 4 Blätter Salat (nicht einmal geschnitten) und ein wenig Tomaten für 7€!!

Eigentlich ein schöner Biergarten mit kleineren Bäumen, allerdings war der Pulled Pork Burger geschmacklich und optisch allenfalls ausreichend. Der Biergarten betreibt ein Selbstbedienungskonzept, wobei der Gast seine Bestellung am Tresen im Innenbereich aufgibt, dabei seine Tischnummer nennt (die auf jedem Tisch vermerkt ist), direkt bezahlt und die Getränke dann zum Platz mitnimmt. Das Essen wird gebracht. Der Herr am Tresen war träge und unaufmerksam. 3x Wasser und 1x Pulled Pork Burger 🍔 überforderten ihn offenbar so sehr, so dass er mehrfach nachfragte und dann neunmalklug mitteilte, dass man keinen Stress verbreiten solle. So ein Verhalten gegenüber Gästen ist inakzeptabel. Ich würde dort aufgrund meiner Negativerfahrung nicht mehr essen.
