Drei Linden - Zum Krapp in Erlangen

Schlichter Biergarten, freundliche aber sehr gestresste Bedienung. Vormittags angerufen um eine Tisch zu reservieren, nachmittags bei der Ankuft wusste man nichts mehr davon. Keine Mayo zu den Pommes. Bratkartoffeln kalt und kaum angerbraten. Das Schnitzel sehr sehr dünn. Leider nicht mehr das was es mal wahr.

Sehr angenehmer Besuch in einem traditionsreichen, gut geführten Haus. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und zuverlässig. Die Küche bietet klassische fränkische Gerichte in sauberer, solider Qualität, und die Gaststube wirkt gepflegt und ordentlich. Insgesamt ein reibungsloser Ablauf und ein überzeugender Gesamteindruck.

Natürlich, essen ist Spitze und reichlich. Die Bedienungen herzlich und schnell. Und mit einem Gruß aus der Küche schmeckt's doppelt gut.

Freundliches Personal, deftige Portionen

Mega Service, super nette Bedienungen. Essen ist hervorragend für einen, im Anbetracht der Menge, guten Preis. Man sollte sehr viel Hunger mitbringen. Immer wieder gern hier zu Besuch. Parkplätze sind leider etwas eingeschränkt.

Waren heute durch Zufall da Essen ,waren voll überrascht die Bedienung war sehr nett und freundlich das Essen war auch sehr Lecker und große Portionen komme auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder lg aus Nürnberg

Nette Bedienung hat mir ihrem Lächeln sehr überzeugt(Siehe Foto) . 4 Schnitzel für 18,50€ ein schnapper! Bier schmeckt. Bruno meint richtig gut. Nico war von kleinen Kindern genervt, hatte mich nicht gestört. (Bin aber auch Papa) Hamid fand die junge Bedienung Sau gut aussehend. (Verheirateter Mann mit 2 Kindern) Ich hoffe ihr geht hier auch essen und natürlich viel Bier trinken!!!🍻

Wir waren hier zum Schnitzelessen und was soll ich sagen: Es war einfach fantastisch! Das Fleisch war super zart, die Panade perfekt knusprig – genau so muss ein perfektes Schnitzel schmecken. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung, wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Leckere Wirtschaft mit leckeren Schnitzel. Die Portionen sind riesig und schon fast zu günstig. Ca 20€ wo man sonst immer nur höchstens 2 bekommt. Netter Service und Essen kam schnell. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Vor ein paar Tagen waren wir wieder mal dort zum Essen. Ich habe mich sehr auf das Schweizer Schnitzel gefreut, seit Jahren mein Lieblingsschnitzel. Leider wurde ich sehr enttäuscht 😞. Früher bestand der Belag aus klein geschnittenen Zwiebeln und Schinken, viel Käse und erstreckte sich über das ganze Schnitzel. Heute liegt eine Mischung aus weißen und roten Zwiebeln in Form von dicken Ringen, ein kleiner Klecks Käse und obendrauf eine Scheibe roher Schinken. Überbacken Fehlanzeige. Sehr schade, dass die Qualität so nachgelassen hat.

Wir hatten eine sehr freundliche Bedienung, reservieren hat per Mail super funktioniert. Das Essen war schnell am Tisch und sehr lecker . Da ich mein Bein gebrochen habe hatte ich einen extra Stuhl zum fuss hochgehen bekommen wahr positiv überrascht, vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder

Ale drei Schnitzel Varianten die wir hatten waren sehr lecker. Das Team war super flott (keine Sekunde zu viel gewartet) sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Wir waren hier zum ersten Mal. Eine "normale" Portion Schnitzel beinhaltet vier Schnitzel, die halbe Portion demnach zwei Schnitzel - für mich völlig ausreichend! Die Schnitzel waren sehr dünn und knusprig ausgebacken, sehr lecker. Leider nicht in Butterschmalz, aber das habe ich bei der Masse an Schnitzel auch nicht erwartet. Geschmacklich war das Schnitzel überraschend gut. Zwar nicht das beste Schnitzel ever, aber durchaus lecker! Die Pommes dazu waren kross und knusprig. Auch preislich wirklich super fair. Der Gastraum war offen und dadurch war es wirklich sehr laut. Auch hat man/die Kleidung nach dem Besuch etwas nach Essen gerochen. Der Service war super und sehr freundlich. Die Parksituation lässt sich nicht ändern, ist aber eher schwierig. Man kann zwar an der Straße parken und das kostenlos, aber man muss Glück haben, überhaupt was zu bekommen.

Hervorragendes Restaurant für jeden der gerne Schnitzel isst. Die Preise sind sehr günstig für die großen Portionen. Übriges Essen kann man einpacken und mitnehmen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, nett, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wir werden wieder mal hier essen gehen.

Ich sag mal so man bekommt 100% dass was man dafür zahlt. Wenn man ein Preis/Leistungs Typ ist ist man hier am richtigen Platz. Dass Fett/Öl ist wahrscheinlich relativ alt, da die Pommes nach außen mehr hart als knusprig waren. Das Schnitzel war Okey aber nach paar Bissen war es einfach zu viel Öl am Schnitzel. Die Panade klebt am Schnitzel es muss luftig sein. Und knusprig war es nur an der Seite und nicht in der Mitte ;( Pluspunkt Essen war in unter 10 min da. Viele Leute produzieren ein kostengünstiges Schnitzel aber setzen leider nicht auf die richtige Ausführung/ Qualität.

Dort gibt es viele verschiedene Schnitzel. Kreativ und lecker!! Ich mag Tortillaschnitzel!! Das beste Schnitzel überhaupt!

Even though they're on the menu, there are no schnitzels here. On Sundays, they serve delicious roasts.

We (a couple/2 people) are long-time guests. I've never written a review before. I'm doing that now. We usually eat one of the schnitzel variations between two people. Always delicious!!! We were back today. We had the schnitzel of the day. Delicious!! We ate a "one-portion" of schnitzel with fries for two people, and there was still some left! We also had two beers (good, but not exactly great by Franconian standards) and a side salad (huge and delicious). Rounded out at €35.00 for two people. That's more than good for Erlangen! Service was, as always, friendly, attentive, and fast. We love it!! Slightly deducted for the ambiance. It's great outside. But inside, it's quite spartan and loud.

I ate a Jägerschnitzel with ready-made sauce or whatever you want to call it. I was there for the first time in many months. I won't be coming back.

We're lucky that one of our children has an apartment in Old Erlangen, just a few minutes' walk from "Schnitzelkrapp"! This gives us the opportunity to stop by every now and then. It's a paradise for schnitzel fans. They offer a wide selection of different schnitzel variations, including seasonal ones (e.g., with asparagus), or a themed schnitzel for Oktoberfest (with Obatzter and red onions). You can choose between a half portion, which is two medium-sized schnitzels, or a full portion, which is four. Side dishes are freely available. Food is delivered quickly by friendly staff. Reservations are recommended. I can only speak for myself: I've never been disappointed; the food has always been fresh and delicious! The value for money is unbeatable. I'd be happy to come back, keep it up!

The food was good. The service was unfortunately absolutely terrible. Yes, it was busy that evening, but for four waitresses to walk past a table that was right in the way to the kitchen for almost 20 minutes without a word or even a glance, unfortunately, it's only worth one star – actually, zero, but the lady did apologize at the end. Stressed and hectic wording/gestures like "Schnitzel, okay, yes, and move on (and that applies to all four people)", "I'll put this there for you, distribute it myself, I have to move on" were unfortunately normal from the time of ordering to the time of cashing, and listing everything would be beyond the scope. The stressed faces of the ladies also spoke volumes. One lady only cleared the table and didn't take orders – okay, then just say, sorry, what's my colleague doing, I'll send it to you – but no, just nothing and left. Oh yeah, actually, we would have liked a second beer, but we never got to the order. Unfortunately, the atmosphere in the beer garden is very oppressive and loud due to the acoustics. I've been to your place a few times before and everything was fine, but today was my/our last time.

The schnitzels are amazing—they're super-sized, but so thin and delicious that it's no problem at all. The best schnitzels there are.

If you're looking for good, affordable food and you're also really hungry, this is the place for you. Schnitzel in all its forms. And if you can't manage the huge portion, they'll provide aluminum foil for wrapping it up at the table 😉 You'll have to search a bit for parking, but there's sure to be a spot nearby.

Too many flies disturb eating outdoors

We visited here for the first time in a long time. The food is still good, but the service was unfortunately disappointing. The waitresses seemed stressed, it was a rushed affair, and even a simple request for some mayonnaise was met with an annoyed no. The highlight, however, was when my daughter started a nosebleed that didn't stop immediately. My request for a cooling pad was met with a rude, resounding "no." When I asked if we could get some ice or at least a wet wipe, I was simply left standing there. Only later, when the waitress noticed my heavily bleeding nose, did she finally bring us a wet wipe. When I said that was exactly what I had asked for, the reaction was unfriendly again. Apparently, they can afford to treat customers like this here – after all, the place is still busy. However, I won't be coming back.

Never in my entire life have I experienced such bad schnitzel. The schnitzel was thin and at first I thought it was potato pancakes with no flavor! The waitress, an older lady in her 50s or 60s, was a disaster. We decided it would be the first and last time! I'd rather have less on my plate but top quality!

We used to eat here often and tried it again today after years. We ordered schnitzel to take away. The staff on the phone and in the restaurant were very friendly. The schnitzels were pounded nice and thin, fried crispy, and, as usual, huge. We paid just over €10 for half a schnitzel (which is about the size of a plate) including a side dish. That's unbeatable value! We'll definitely be back.

It's a disgrace to call something like that a schnitzel! My schnitzel was at most 2mm thick and tasted like everything but schnitzel. Every schnitzel stand does better than this. I'm still speechless... I can only recommend the Sportheim Milan to anyone who wants to eat a good schnitzel!

We were at the Drei Linden Restaurant and were actually hoping to spend a pleasant afternoon. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but pleasant. We ordered four shots and were immediately treated condescendingly. The waitress told us we "couldn't stay too long," even though we had reserved a table for 5 p.m. and had already arrived at 3:30 p.m. Food was supposedly only available from 4:30 p.m., and even though we weren't loud or conspicuous, we were even refused a shandy on the grounds that we were already "too drunk." The way we were treated was extremely rude and disrespectful. We were prepared to spend a lot of money there, but after this treatment, we left. We felt this was absolutely abysmal – this is no way to treat guests. I would not recommend it!

If you like schnitzel and want to fill up, this is the place for you. The savoy cabbage is great! The waitresses are very nice and prompt. The home-brewed beer is very good in the 0.2 tasting glasses, but with the 0.5 it becomes more difficult. The restaurant and beer garden are well maintained and clean.

Very large portions for the price. Always delicious and friendly staff! However, I think it's a real shame that there is no more mayonnaise... sorry, but fries or schnitzel and fries need mayo... I'm very sad!

When the weather is nice 🌞, the ⛱ shaded outdoor seating is very popular. A special attraction is the beautiful water fountain on the neighboring property. The additional 🍺 seasonal beer that goes from the barrel to the bar is offered on a board. What should be emphasized is the unpretentious friendliness of all the employees! On my next visit I will definitely try out the promising menu. Promised! 😀

Good schnitzels in numerous variations. Delicious every time no matter which one you take. The staff is also on the ball, friendly. The restaurant is very busy, you should definitely make a reservation. In the outdoor area, which is partly heated, you can always find spontaneous space in winter and summer. The only thing that is a bit unpleasant is the atmosphere, which is always very loud.

The Drei Linden zum Krapp restaurant is by far the restaurant that wants a fattening meal. Nobody believes me, I ordered Viennese style schnitzel with fries and when the food came I just thought who would manage this portion, there are 4 XXL sized schnitzels on the plate and the fries underneath, who can do the whole thing off to eat the place. The Blaue Traube Turnerbund in Erlangen has completely sunk this restaurant. The 4 XXL schnitzels with fries cost 15 euros. For this portion, the price is really a gift. The entire service team was friendly and nice. I'm very at peace and would love to come back. This restaurant also offers a great atmosphere at the Alterlanger Kärwa event with its own beer garden stage and live music. Always happy, Long Live Drei Linden.

Great local restaurant in Erlangen, with the highlight being the Schnitzel. Portions are huge so be careful when ordering; one portion is enough for two adults. You can order half portions. Despite the big sizes, quality is great and not expensive, totally recommended 👍

We had a lovely Christmas party there. The waitresses were all very nice and all orders came quickly. Food was great too.

We’ve been a couple of times. It’s always good. Fast service. And a good choice of schnitzels. This time the special with Sriracha Mayonnaise and Sweet Chili sauce was a hit! Small portion means 2 schnitzels by the way. A large portion is 4!

What a precious gem in Erlangen! Best schnitzel I ever had, we chose the Jägerschnitzel and it was perfect. The mushrooms were tender and the sauce perfectly made and smelling so good! We also had another one with paprika, garlic, sour cream and Gouda cheese, my personal favorite! Very kind service. We'll definitely go back.

Disappointing visit despite reservations I've been to this restaurant before with my family and had a good experience - the team was friendly and we liked the food. So we decided to come back last Sunday with a larger group of families and friends. Despite making a reservation in advance, they were unable to offer us suitable seats when we arrived. The employees seemed nervous and were rude and unaccommodating to us. One suggestion was that we could eat standing up if we couldn't find a seat. This was of course not acceptable for us as guests. We also heard some derogatory comments from other guests that made us feel unwelcome - including the comment about whether we were in a bus stop since we were a larger group. It would have been far more respectful and easier if we had been informed in advance that it was not possible to accept our group. Then we could have made other plans.

** Even 1 Star is too much ** Very Bad experience Yesterday we called the restaurant to have reservation and we were almost 7 families with kids and the one who answered the call said you can come and don’t need a reservation. When we arrived the restaurant was almost full and gave us one table even there were another free tables around us but when we ask they says it’s reserved and they didn’t offer any help and sorry to say they were just ( Rudely speaking ) One of us asked (( how can I eat without having a place ?! And the waitress there replied rudely it’s not my problem you can eat while standing!!! )) We decided to leave and when we told her she replied it’s ok no problem go away!!!! *** Very very unprofessional and it wasn’t the first time for them acting this way with us But this time I couldn’t resist writing this bad review for her sake ( the waitress and her sister I think because it seems to be family business ) Always acting this way bad when we come as a group (( we spend really about 100-120 € per family every time and giving also good tips )) Again very bad experience and they ruined our outing yesterday

One star is a lot. We called and wanted to make a reservation, but were told “you don’t need a reservation, just come along.” Very unprofessional and unfriendly service on site and had to leave without ordering anything!!! with the statement “You just come”
